*POV BELLA*

Before I know it, school is around the corner. I remind Jake, he's in charge when I'm not around but to give me a call if a situation happens. And I'll rush right over. They weren't lying about having more energy and eating more. Charlie and I quickly discovered that I could eat 5 hamburgers, 3 orders of fries and a 2-liter coke in one sitting. Or 3 large pizzas and a 2-liter all by myself. I realized that my body only needed a couple of hours of sleep. 4 hours was the requirement even though I could sleep for more if I really tried my wolf out. Unfortunately, my wolf didn't take away the nightmares.

On the first day of school, I wake up before Charlie. I dress quickly and head downstairs to make breakfast. I make coffee and our favorite, mom's pancakes. I stacked my plate with about 15 of them. Was halfway through when Charlie finally came down.

Charlie: you save some for me fido?

Bella: hardy har har, yours are on the counter. Coffee already made.

Charlie: I'm starting to really like this whole wolf thing… hey kid, are you sure you're ready for school? What if your wolf decides to come out?

Bella: don't worry dad. Billy gave me the all clear. Plus, I already have it planned out. If I feel anything, I'll excuse myself from class and run to the woods. I just need you to sign this paper please.

I slide over the letter I typed up last night saying I developed really bad anxiety attacks and would need to leave the classroom if one started up. I texted Carlisle to let him know of my plan and if he was able to back up my excuse. Also asked if he knew some excuse for my eyes changing color. Carlisle surprised me by sending over a fake medical document and his office number if needing to confirm. He added information about my eye color and added that my body temp runs a little hotter because of it. For them to not to be alarm. And to call him if I ever have an emergency. Charlie just chuckles and signs it. I hurry to clean up and finish getting ready. We say our goodbyes and get into our cars. I lower my window and enjoy the fresh air. Since phasing, I've come to enjoy nature more. The sun makes me even happier. The wind on my face, reminds me of running in the woods in my wolf form. I feel my wolf smile at the thought. I make note to try to do a couple of runs every day. As I pull into the parking lot. I spot 2 new cars. A shiny red BMW and the yellow Porsche from the other day. Those must belong to the doc's kids. As I get closer, I smell the scents from the woods. Even the one that smells like the ocean breeze. My wolf smiles again. I take a deep breath and run inside to the office. I hand in my medical letter to the Ms. Copeland. She stares at me for a second. I'm sure she's noticed the eyes. I probably should've told Carlisle to give me an excuse to wear sunglasses inside. I clear my throat and she snaps out of it. She tells me she'll send copies to the nurse and makes copies for me to hand to each teacher. I tell her thank you and head to my locker.

I see Jessica beats me to our lockers. We've never been super close, but we've been locker buddies since 6th grade. She's really smart and pretty but she can talk a lot at times. She's head deep into her locker when I walk up. I tell her hey and she quickly goes into a run down about the beautiful Cullens. How they all look like Gods. Based off the very expensive cars and word around town is they own the most land, everyone thinks they are millionaires. We both close our lockers at the same time. She stopped talking and just stares at me. We use to be almost the same height so I'm sure she notice that too. I knew right away she was staring at my eyes and when her eyes roamed my body, the muscles. I feel a little awkward, but my wolf smiled. I explained the condition Carlisle wrote up and how I started working out with the guys down at the Res. She nods at my explanation but doesn't say anything. I tell her I'll catch her later and head for class.

I enter 1st period and instantly smell the sweet vampire smell. My body freezes on its own and I hear my wolf growl ready to attack. I force him back in his cage and hand my paper to the teacher before going to take my seat. I notice one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen. A Greek goddess in person. Her golden eyes shine bright and even though she's sitting down, I can tell she's tall. She has a nice rack and curves for days. Beautiful long blonde hair that looks silky smooth. I see her body tense up and relax all within 5 seconds. I shoot her a smile and walk back to introduce myself. She tenses again as I get closer, but I don't stop smiling. I extend my hand to her, in hopes she's as pleasant as the doc.

Bella: Hey, I'm Bella, doc told me you guys will be attending. I just wanted to introduce myself. Hope you're enjoying Forks. And if you need anything, please let me know.

She gives me a puzzled look but extends her hand too. We both pull back at the difference of our body temps. My wolf growls and I push him back down. I can't help but be proud of my control.

Rosalie: I'm Rosalie. You have very beautiful eyes. And yes, Carlisle mentioned a wolf joining us this year. I thought you guys stayed on the Res. You know the whole our land, your land thing? But I'm glad to see the wolves stopped being sexist. Girl power.

Bella: thank you Aphrodite and yes girl power, it was a surprise to us all. Well, I was born here in town and live in town. So technically you are on my land. *I say with a chuckle. She gives me a semi amused look* But anyways, I just wanted to say hey. If you need a tour, give me a call sweetheart.

Rose: Pease call me Rose. I'm with someone but I might just take you up on that offer pup. You are very attractive; you know for being smelly wolf.

Bella: I like the name Rosalie better. Beautiful name for a beautiful woman. *She smiles at my comment* But I wouldn't talk with your smell. Actually, you're not as bad as the others. And please don't call me pup. I am an Alpha.

Rose: Female, an Alpha and a charmer. My, my how things have changed. *I smile and turn to walk away* Hey Bella, would you like to sit with me?

I turn around in shock but being I'm trying to start things on a better note with them. I take the seat next to her.

Bella: Are you sure my smell won't make you vomit?

She tells me my looks will be worth it and shoots me a smile. I can't help to think that blondie might be flirting with me. We spent the rest of class talking in whispers. As classes ends, she tells me she hopes I extend the same welcome and friendship to the others. I tell her the same thing I told doc, as long as they respect the treaty I will too. I will give them all a chance to show me who they are, and I'll return the same. She smiles and walks out of class. I watch her walk away and think maybe this can be the start of a beautiful friendship with the Greek goddess.

I secretly hope to have another class with blondie. But my 2nd period is Cullen free. If the others are like blondie, I can see us being friends outside of here. Hopefully this changes the relationship with them and the Res. The stories about the cold ones that ate humans were from hundreds of years ago. None included the Cullens. I shall call a meeting with the council once I've met them all. As I walk into my 3rd period, I smell another one. This one makes my nose burn again and I hope I'm able to keep my wolf under control. I see him in the back at the only empty table. Like it or not, I guess I will have to deal with the smell. He's good-looking like Carlisle and Rosalie. Only with bronze color hair. The same golden eyes, a slight bit darker. He looks a little tall and muscular. But the skinny muscular. I head towards the table. Smiling much like I did with the goddess and Carlisle.

Bella: I probably should've just taken your dad up on his offer to just meet everyone over dinner. Met everyone at once, cut the number of introductions. Anyways, I'm Bella. I'm an Alpha and yes live in town. I will like...

Edward: Hey Bella, sorry to cut you off but I heard your conversation with my sister. I'm Edward. I must say, I'm very impressed. You left a very good impression on my sister. Trust me, that's not an easy fleet with her. She tends to be a bit excuse my French, bitchy. She's already texted us all to let us know we better be nice to you. She also was right about your eyes. They are very unique.

Bella: I'm glad the Greek goddess enjoyed our time together. I won't lie, it broke my heart to hear she's taken. And thank you.

Edward: so, you're gay?

Bella: yes, will it be a problem?

Edward: no, no not at all. In fact, you might be glad to know that the "Greek goddess" did have a couple of girlfriends before. You might still have a chance. Wolf or not. You know Bella, you don't smell as bad as the others.

Bella: I wish I could say the same for you Eddie boy. But your sister and father smell a lot better.

He chuckles and passes me a sheet of people with his and Rosalie's number. I hand him one with mine and a note to make sure the Greek goddess gets it. Ball is in her court now.

Edward: you know Bella. I feel like I've seen you before but cannot quite place it.

Bella: maybe I'm the girl of your dreams Eddie boy.

He chuckles and shakes his head. He whispers something that sounds like, "not unless you have a dick" … I'm not sure so I don't say anything. If that is what he says, I'm thankful that doc didn't tell them about it. He sends me a text saying the teacher is getting annoyed with our whispering. I look at him and raise an eyebrow. He sends another saying he tends to know what people are thinking and he will explain more later. I just nod my head and pay attention to Mr. Williams. Before I know it, the bell rings and I start getting my stuff.

Edward: want to join us for lunch?

Bella: sure, I just have to check in with my pack first. I'll be there soon.

He nods and walks out. I take a second to send Jake a text. Letting him know I've been very much in control. That I've now met 3 of the Cullens and they seem like lovely people. He quickly shoots me one back and says not to let their looks fool me, but he'll make a note to be opened minded. I tell him about the goddess, and he says looks or not, her smell will keep him away. He lets me know Sam is still being an ass, but he has no choice but to respect the chain of command. He hopes I come down to the Res to straighten him out. I let him know I'll be there soon, and I'll talk to him later.

*POV ALICE*

During first period, Edward and I listen in to the conversation between Rose and Bella. I was surprised when Rose texted us after class to tell everyone to be nice to her. She gushes about her eyes. We've been around hundreds of humans. Rose would be the last one to care about any of their feelings. But I could understand her impression. Bella seemed to have good control of her wolf. Her joking matter with Rose was also something I was surprised with. All the stories from Carlisle and Edward told me they were very hostile to us. I continued to listen in, with complete awe of her. Not to mention that her voice sounded lovely to me. I was excited and hoping to encounter her today. Edward just snorted at my thoughts of making her my best friend. I was a little sad that she wasn't in my 2nd or 3rd period. Edward sent us all a text saying it was his turn to make friends with the wolf. 10 minutes later he sends me a private text that he couldn't hear her thoughts. I tell him to invite her to sit with us and we could ask Jasper to try his gift. As class ended, I have a vision of Edward asking her to join us for lunch. But for some reason, I couldn't see her clearly. I've never not been able to see someone. He sends us all a text letting us know Bella will be joining us for lunch. Rose was quick to reply that she'll be sitting next to Bella. Edward, saying he has the other side. Emmett asked if they both had a crush on her already. Edward being the ass he is, replied that Bella was gay, and he should only worry about his wife getting another girlfriend. Emmett stating that only if he can join. Which made Rose upset for some reason and text telling everyone to shut up. Nobody else said anything. I was glad that they liked her already. It would make this whole thing a lot easier for us all. I send a text to Carlisle. Letting him know about my vision and Edward's gift not working either. Let him know we were going to try Jasper's at lunch. He replied saying to keep him informed and to remind Rose to be nice. I laughed and just tell him, trust she's her biggest fan right now.

I walk as quickly as a normal human pace to lunch. Excited to meet the famous Bella that seemed to have my siblings wanting a seat next to her. It was a little disappointing to not see her at our table upon siting down.

Edward: She'll be with us in a moment. She has to check in with her pack.

Emmett: Jeez, you guys smell like her. But it's not as bad as the scents in the forest.

Alice: She smells lovely to me.

Edward raised an eyebrow at me, and I notice there really was a seat in between Edward and Rose.

Edward: told you I called dibs.

Rose: would you two not hold secret conversations when she sits down? Don't want her thinking we're rude.

Edward quickly explains how he couldn't hear her thoughts and ask Jasper if he can try to feel her when she gets here. I mention to Edward in my head that I couldn't see her. Showing him the vision in my mind and telling him not to say anything. He gives me a slight nod. Too quick for the others to notice. Jasper senses my nerves and sends me waves of comfort and calm which I'm thankful for. Emmett starts questioning Rose about Bella's looks. Just as Rose starts telling us about her, I smell her walk in with a girl from my 2nd period named Angela Webber. The second I see her, my jaw drops she's beautiful, her smell is intoxicating, and I jump into a vision. It's the very first vision I ever had. I see her face, but her eyes are different this time. Her body more tone and she looks taller. I see us running in the woods. Holding hands. I wondered over the years of that vision but figured destiny changed its mind because it's been over a hundred years, and she never came. Or maybe because I chose Jasper when he came along. I come back to the table and Edward seeing the vision in my head just says oh. I feel a wave of emotions surging through my body. I quickly tell him not to say anything. The others could see I had a vision and Jasper sensing my emotions jumping from one to another, tenses next to me. He sends me a calming wave, but I find not much comfort this time. I tell them I have to leave and talk to Carlisle but in all honesty, I just need to get away from here. I need to clear my head before Jasper feels anything else. Jasper moves to join me, but I tell him to stay. I half run out the door and the second I'm outside I hear her. I hear her enchanting voice ask if her smell made me leave. Edward reassures her of course not and he's sure she'll meet me soon. I run to the beach by our house. It's the one place I've found true comfort in. The others don't know about it. Or they do but know not to follow me. I've never invited them. It's my own private little spot. It honestly makes me never want to leave Forks. If only that was an option. It's not long before my phone beeps.

Edward: are you ok sis?

Alice: yes, it just surprised me. She was my very first vision. She's important to my life some type of way. I just don't know how.

Edward: I saw. Only way to find out is by talking to her and you just ran away like a bat from hell. I think you offended her.

My heart drops at the thought of possibly hurting her. I shake my head clear.

Alice: please tell her it wasn't my intention. It was just a family emergency.

Edward: I mentioned something like that. Let me know if you need anything. By the way, Jasper couldn't sense her. Can you see her now?

The second I think of her, I see her face. Us laughing on the couch. Me curled up beside her.

Alice: I see us clearly.

Edward: oh.

Alice: just me and her hanging out. She's going to be my best friend.

Edward: I thought I was your best friend. Are you sure you're ok Alice?

Alice: if I'm being honest with myself. I don't know Edward. I felt so many emotions when I saw her. And that was without seeing her face to face or even talking to her.

Edward: take it one step at a time. I'll introduce you whenever you come back. Which by the way, you're suppose to be in our next class.

Alice: I think I need to hunt. I'll be there tomorrow.

Edward: ok sis.

I sit back and just watch the waves. Who is this, Bella? Why was she my first vision? Why does she smell so good if she's a wolf?
