After going to Cane's they went to the river and started walking along it .

"Guys remember we can't stay long because you have school tomorrow. " Monica informed the twins as they ran in front of her playing tag.

"Stay close!" Chandler called out then sighing as he reached for Monica's hand swinging it back and forth as the walk smiling when she looked at him then Monica shivered

" God its cold we should probably go home sooner since when didn't bring the twins' coats ,and I don't want them to catch a cold this week ." she went on about how it would too much to deal with at the moment because of how hectic things were at the restaurant and how everyone wasn't doing things to her standards . Chandler just laughed

"What's so funny?"she gave him a look

" Nothing I just love it when you go on and on." He smiled at and she blushed at the his comment but that quickly went away when she shivered again "No no that's it we're going home its too cold out here "she announced

"Kids!" She called for the twins and they all got in the car and started driving off home

After they had dinner it was the twins' bedtime "guys it's bedtime come on you have school tomorrow " Monica said heading upstairs the twins behind her as Chandler was clearing out the dinner table .They had developed a routine where they would take turns one helping the kids get ready for bed and the other would clean up after whatever meal the had and clean the kitchen but Monica would always come back and redo the kitchen to her standards.

"Mommy can you and daddy read me a story tonight?" Erica asked in a small voice.

"Of course sweetie just get ready for bed and I'll go get daddy ."

"okay!" Erica excitedly sprinted to the bathroom to get ready .Monica headed down stairs to find Chandler doing the dishes she walked over and hugged him from behind.

"Hello" He said smiling "Is there something wrong " He asked

"no nothing is wrong I'm just ready for bed " she said yawning as Chandler tilted his head over hers. Then they heard children laughing upstairs

" I told them to get ready why won't they listen " Monica sighed as Chandler turned off the sink and dried his hands then they both went upstairs to find the twins in the master bedroom jumping on the king sized bed having a pillow fight

"A-ehm "Chandler cleared his throat to get their attention and Monica folded her arms across her chest

" What do you think you are doing?" Monica asked ,the twins hoped off the bed and looked at their apologetically .

" It was Erica's idea!" Jack pointed at his sister

"No he's lying!" Erica protested before Chandler stepped in " Doesn't matter whose idea it was because you're not in trouble " "Really?" Both the twins asked

"Not if you don't go to bed right now." Chandler ordered then both Erica and Jack rushed towards their room "I like this assertive Chandler " Monica said as ran her hands up and down his chest smiling at him "You wanna?" He said smiling back at her and just as they were about to kiss Monica remembered what she told Erica "wait " she said "what?"Chandler replied confused

" I told Erica we would read her a bedtime story " she told him " Mon" he groaned not happy to be interrupted "Come on it'll be quick " she pulled his hand into the twins' bedroom " mommy me and Jack picked this book" Erica said handing the book out to Monica " Where The Wild Things Are, okay in bed you go ." she said tucking Erica in bed while Chandler sat on Jack's bed waiting for Monica to start reading

"The night Max wore his wolf suit and made mischief of one kind " Monica began to read " reminds me of some kids " she said tickling Erica as Chandler smiled cuddling with Jack .

" And sailed back over a year

and in and out of weeks

and through a day

and into the night of his very own room

where he found his supper waiting for him

and it was still hot ." Monica said as she closed the book and looked over at Chandler who had stayed up listening to her with admiration ,then she looked at Jack and Erica to make sure they were asleep. As she got up she kissed the twins on their heads and pulled Chandler into their room kissing him as they closed the door for the night .
