I don't own any of this Loud House belongs to Nickelodeon and Jurassic Park/World belongs to Universal.
"So after finding a bungalow near the lake. We decided to stay in the trailer right next to it for the time being."
The Louds and McBrides headed their way back towards the docks where the much welcoming boat is waiting to take them off this nightmare island. All they had to do is go through this jungle, passing by many trees and large bushes along the way.
After spending who knows how long on this island. Lincoln and Clyde really couldn't believe that not only were both of their families here, but also; that they were actuality going home. It's such a big shocker that they were finally going to able to go home, the two actually thought that this was nothing more than a dream or an hallucination for a brief period of time.
When they have finally accepted that this was all one hundred percent real. The two have begun to tell them about their painstaking survival on the island; all the way from getting away from the indominus rex, Clyde nearly getting his butt bitten off by an allosaurus, Lincoln breaking his wrist after an encounter with the pteranodons, accidentally ending up at the power station instead of the docks where they then encountered a pack of Dilophosaurus; that would eventually lead to them traveling underground through the utility tunnels, where upon getting out through a vent, they had the unfortunate view of the last ferry going off into the horizon.
They then began telling them about the aftermath of being stranded on the island by going over more impressive survival stories.
The initial reactions of these stories were a heavy mix of shock, worry, fearful cringing, or in Lynn Sr, Howard's, Harold's, to even Rita's case; not to faint on the spot, after each time their kids told them on how they either nearly gotten eaten or stomped on more than once. But as for both Lynn and Lana, they are well beyond impressed that despite their usual antics and behavior, they have actually managed to survive here for this long.
"Well bro. I know two people who have just entered my book of tough people." Lynn exclaimed with a playful punch to both Lincoln's and Clyde's shoulders.
It hurt like usual, but they happily ignored it for receiving that respect from Lynn is a very big deal to them as not many people in their age group can get that kind of accomplishment.
"Did the T-Rex really smash through the entrance of the hotel?" Lana then suddenly asked with wide, sparkly eyes for that sounded awesome.
"Sure did." Clyde replied with a bit of fear over that nasty memory. "Lincoln had to hide behind a desk, while I hid behind a pillar."
"Whoa! Aw man! You should've been there during our encounter with her." It was just as intense and terrifying as theirs.
"If you think the hotel encounter was something. Wait till we tell you about the T-Rex attack on the trailer." Lincoln commented with a slick smile, knowing all too well that his little sister is going to love that story.
"Perhaps you boys should share that one for later. Me and Howie can't handle anymore of these death defying tales of survival." Honestly all these tales were seriously going to make them collapse from stress and doing that here wasn't his preferred place in mind.
"Diddo" Lynn Sr. agreed while tittering back and forth with each step he took.
"Right. Sorry." He and Clyde will continue on with their other survival tales on the island once they are safely on the boat and a hundred miles away from here.
Meanwhile off to his side; Leni kept her worried eyes squarely trained on the bandage covering up her little brother's injury. "Does your wrist still hurt Linky?"
"A few times, but it's been better for the past couple of days." He doesn't know if this was sign that his wrist was finally all better. Frankly; Lincoln didn't want to test it out just in case.
Lisa now took this time to look over it with a much more critical eye. "You say that you've received this fracture during the Jurassic World Incident. Am I correct older brother.
"Yes. That's right." Lincoln confirmed.
"Judging by the exact timeframe of when you received the injury. My best calculations is that the break of your wrist has almost completely healed up. Now it won't be enough to completely take off your bandage, but it will be fully recovered very soon." She states with a small smile at the end.
"I'm just amazed on how many times you two nearly got eaten. That's literally the worst luck ever." Lori wouldn't even be surprised that the two would developed PTSD after all this. If not already.
"So whatever happened to the other campers you were with bro?" Luna then asked for with all this joy of reuniting with missing family members, they have completely forgotten that Lincoln and Clyde weren't the only ones who were attending camp on that fateful day.
"We don't know, but I like to think that they had managed to get off the island during the evacuation." Clyde remarked for if they were all on the island as well, surely he and Lincoln would've encountered them some time ago.
"Hopefully. Otherwise they may have been enveloped with the cold embrace of death from the hands or jaws of the indominus rex." Lucy said.
"You really know on how to dampen the mood. Don't ya Luc." Lynn sarcastically remarked.
"I still can't believe that you two have actually met the Brooklyn or that you were in one of her videos." It was just so unreal for Lola. Her own brother and Clyde appearing in Brooklyn's Genetics Lab video, sure they were mostly in the background or had brief appearances, but still. It was very amazing.
The other sisters wanted to continue on about other topics regarding their stay on the island. But then Lincoln and Clyde suddenly stopped in their tracks, causing them to stop as well, much to their general confusion.
"Why did we stop?" Lana questioned, only to be quickly shushed by her brother as he pointed up towards the sky.
Glancing up; a flock of pteranodons flew overhead, crying out to each other as they made their way back towards the mountains. Once the last ones passed by, they all relaxed themselves for the danger has passed.
"It's best to stay quiet and stick very close to the trees whenever they fly above you. Trust me. We learned the hard way on what happens when your out in the open whenever a flock of pteranodons appear." Clyde fearfully exclaimed.
"I'm very afraid to ask on how." Howard nervously remarked for he just knows his already stressed out mind wasn't going to like it one bit.
"Let's just say dad. That our day at the beach was ruined and I had a free, bird's eye view of the world." Clyde easily remembers their feet clamping down on him as the top of the trees speed by below his dangling feet.
"That's really rough, but look on the bright side. You two are going to have the greatest tales over what you did this summer." Luan said for there's that one joyful spot over a otherwise crummy summer.
"I also know that Lilly is going to be totally happy to see you. She really missed you a lot Lincoln." Leni happily stated for she can already see on how Lilly is going to react upon reuniting with her big brother.
Lincoln can see it as well; earning an even more warm smile to form. He just can't wait to get home, which judging by the sound of the crashing waves getting louder and louder, they are about to reach the docks right about now.
Sure enough upon coming into the clearing, the docks laid before them, right along with the glorious sight of the parked boat drifting gently in the waves. To Lincoln and Clyde, it's the most beautiful sight they've ever seen, it beats a thousand Flippy's, a mountain of video games and comics, to even the Ace Savey meets David Steele movie. As for their families, they are a bit concern that they don't see any of the crew wandering about on either the boat or dock. Hopefully they were just settling down inside to get out of the hot sun.
"Just look at it Lincoln. Our beautiful chariot to freedom awaits. I feel like I'm going to cry right now from how happy I am." The watery glint in his eyes threatened to flow, but Clyde held them back for now wasn't the time for crying, he can save that for when they are sailing away from here.
It's the same feeling for Lincoln as he used his index finger to wipe his tears away. "What are we waiting for guys? Let's get out of here already!"
And without even a second thought; the two went right ahead, gaing a slight head start over their families, who all raced to catch up with them.
Stepping onto the docks. Lisa is the first one amongst them to notice that something was amiss from the amount of bullet holes embedded into two of the metal containers along with several tranquilizer darts laying amongst their bases. Reaching about halfway to the distance between them and the boat, she next notices a couple of footprints dashing towards it from the southeast.
Judging by the shape of the footprints, it seemed to have been made by a member of the Dromaeosauridae family. Yet the length of them was much too big to be made by one of Jurassic World's falsely named and very inaccurate; velociraptors. Leading to the bigger and much more concerning question on what had made them?
Passing by a green container on their left, Leni suddenly releases a shriek of horror causing everyone else to stop and look over on what she was shrieking at, which they immediately regretted for what they saw can only be described as a slaughter fest of Rip Hardcore's entire crew laying about with deep gashes going down their backs or chests, several missing legs, arms, and one missing his head. There is however one person, who has every single body part still attached to him or hasn't suffered from any deep gashes. The only thing really on him were several quills stabbed deeply into his artery area, chest, and neck. To make this scene even worse, several compies are feasting on three of the bodies.
Whatever had done this horrific slaughter must've been very fast and very strong in order to have taken down all these guys with what they can only imagine were long, razor sharp claws, dangerous quills, and bloodstain teeth with a neverending hunger for flesh. If they didn't want to leave this island immediately before, they certainly did now.
"My goodness gracious! The crew!" Harold shouted with his eyes not being able to look away from the bloody massacre laying before him.
"This is too much. Even for me." Lucy exclaimed with a uncharacteristically shiver in her tone. "May those unfortunate souls rest in peace."
"Does this mean we are now stranded here as well?" Leni timidly asked.
"No way!" Howard stated with narrowed eyes for he wasn't staying in this hellish place for another second. "We are getting on that boat and sailing on out of here!"
"But who's going to drive it?" Lola questioned.
"Me and Harold will. We have an official boating license, so we have both the skills and experience to take control of this vessel."
"It's our best option." Lisa agreed. "For judging by the current conditions of the bodies. This unknown predator could still be in the immediate area."
"Does this animal have long legs, and red eyes by any chance?" Lana nervously questioned as she looked behind them with her body visibly shaking.
"It's behind us. Isn't it." Lisa stated with such deadpanned before turning around with the others and looked up to the top of a blue container, where looking back down at them is the mysterious predator that attacked Lincoln and Clyde at Hidden Adventure.
Slightly opening it's bloodstained mouth, it lets out a low growl as it's body shook in a bit of an unnatural way. So far; it didn't look aggressive, but instead curious as it wondered on what to do next.
Going completely stiff under this thing's predatory gaze, while also wondering on what exactly it is for they haven't seen a dinosaur like this one before. They all don't dare move a single muscle.
"What the heck is that thing?" Lori fearfully, but quietly proclaimed.
"It's a monster dinosaur. That's what it is." Lola sharply answered without daring to make any sudden movements.
"Actually; I fully believe it's one of Doctor Wu's hybrid creations." Lisa corrected with the same kind of fear as the rest of them for this is a very serious situation they are in for if she's right. This one is the highly dangerous first hybrid.
"I thought he only made one, dude." Luna stated in disbelief for why would someone make not just one, but two; flesh eating creatures! What was wrong with making a small herbivore once in awhile?
"He made two. One was the indominus, the other; his first one. The scorpios Rex, an organism with what can only be described as suffering from bipolar-like conditions, since it can swiftly switch from docile to aggressive at very alarming rates. It's also very preferable to stay well clear of those quills as they are highly poisonous."
"Oh great! As if it being a psycho wasn't enough! That egghead just had to make it poisonous!" Lynn hasn't met this guy, but she is really starting to hate him.
The scorpios in the meantime; continued to study the newcomers with a few skinny strands of saliva dripping down from its mouth.
"Okay kids. If we can just move very slowly towards the boat. We might be able to get out of this situation." Rita instructed before slowly lifting up her leg and took just one, measly step.
Suddenly releasing a loud shriek, the scorpios leaps off the container with both of its arms and legs spread out. Letting out a series of screams; everyone scattered in different directions.
Landing on the ground, the scorpios quickly gives chase to Luna, Lola, and Lucy. It quickly gains on them, thanks to its long legs before they swiftly turned and dashed themselves in-between two containers that was thankfully too small for the scorpios to get through, but that didn't stop it from leaping on top of them and continued its pursuit from above. Occasionally it reaches in with its arms, narrowly catching Luna by just a mere inch. It was so close, Luna felt the tip of a claw brush her hair.
"Oh blimey! It touched me!"
The scorpios soon spots an opening up ahead to get through, leaping forward. It lands in front of them, swinging its tail that nearly smacked Lola in the face, (if she didn't duck down at that very moment), as it turned around and lunged for them with a wide gaping mouth.
Grabbing the back of her sisters collars without a second thought, Luna drags them both into a narrow area between two containers. From this makeshift shelter, the three laid on the ground in fear, watching the scorpios trying to in vain to reach them with one of its stretched out arms, all the while shrieking in frustration.
"Leave us alone you meanie!" Lola shrieked as she crawled herself back against her big sister's chest as Luna clung her arms protectively around both her and Lucy.
Suddenly the scorpios did pull away as it now looked towards something else. Leaping back on top of the containers with a horrible bang! It runs to the very end of a row, jumps off and runs right to a parked truck where right inside it: Luan, Lori, and Leni are taking shelter.
Slamming against the door at full force with the side of its body. Screams erupted as the whole truck shook from the impact.
Peering through the window of the now dented door. It sees them all huddling themselves away in the big hope that they were all well protected in here.
Releasing another terrible shriek. The scorpios jumps on top of the truck and bangs the side of its head against the windshield, severely cracking it much to the girls growing terror.
It goes to do it again, but then suddenly shrieked in pain as an electrical shock strikes its lower leg. The shock is so sudden, it lost its balance and fell off the truck, landing on the other side with a thud.
Scrambling back up to its feet. It looks over the truck hood to see both Lynn and Lana holding onto cow rods that crackle with an electric arch.
"That's right. Keep your attention on us, ya freak." Lynn muttered with a fierce glare, which Lana bravely shared.
"Aim for the face Lynn. We may be able to drive it away if we manage to get it in either the eyes or up the nose."
"Gladly." Holding down the button, the rod hummed with electric crackles inadvertently drawing in the scorpios's attention with a almost hypnotize gaze.
Thrusting her rod forward. Lynn strikes the hybrid's chin causing it to break its gaze as it released a painful cry and swiftly turned its body, hitting the truck's side with its tail.
It then shakes off the pain, and with a new found fury in its system. It leaps over the truck, lands close to Lana who thrusts her rod directly towards the eye, only for it to snap its mouth shut right on the middle part, then lifted her up into the air where the young tomboy suddenly found herself being flung around as she clung on tightly to the end of the rod.
"Let go of my sister!" Thrusting her rod again. Lynn this time strikes it against the side of the chest, causing the scorpios to let go of the rod and send Lana flying right to the ground.
Ignoring her however. The scorpios lunges at Lynn, slamming her chest with its head, which flings the rod right out of her hands as she crashes to the ground, where she is then quickly pinned down by the scaly hand of the scorpios.
Feeling the wind leave out of her, underneath the weight of the hand. Lynn can only strain her eyes in terror at the closing in face of the scorpios. It gets so close, she felt the puff of its breath against her face and it was absolutely putrid.
It then released a loud, long shriek. Raining down saliva against Lynn's screaming face for this was it for her.
The scorpios then suddenly goes silent as it now tilted its head as if it had just heard something. Not being able to do much, Lynn can only helplessly watch as it now raised itself up and turned in the direction of the jungle. After a while, it let's out a fearful cry and ran off at a surprising speed.
Slowly sitting herself up, Lynn only caught sight of its tail disappearing into a bush.
She didn't know on what had just happened, but she is very relieved to have gotten out of it alive, so much relieved she fell back down with a great sigh and now with the scorpios gone. Everyone else emerged from where they had ran off to with Luna, Lola, and Lucy from the alleyway of the containers to Lori, Leni, and Luan stepping out of the truck through the other door.
Forming a circle around both Lana and Lynn. Rita tenderly helped the slightly bruised and scraped cheeked Lana back up. "Lana! Are you alright?" Gently washing away the grime off her cheeks with her fingers. Rita looked over her daughter, who surprisingly didn't seem to bother about either her scrapes or bruises.
"No worries mom. These scrapes only make me look tough. What about Lynn?" Looking over, they watched as Lynn Sr., Lori, and Leni carefully helped Lynn back up with three visible holes on her shirt, revealing light cuts on her skin, which all had a small amount of blood forming a puddle around them.
"Oh geez Lynn. That looks like it stings." Lori commented, wishing that they had something to cover up those cuts. Lisa however, after a quick overlay of the cuts, deemed it wasn't too much of a concern.
"I wouldn't worry too much. They aren't deep enough to cause any fatal infections, in fact; the blood is already clotting up. They're essentially minor, very much like a minor cat scratch."
"It still hurts." Lynn winced, especially when she moves her torso in a certain way.
"It'll pass in time elder sibling. Besides; what we should be more concerned about is what caused the scorpios to trigger a fear response in the first place?"
"Wait a minute. Fear response?" Harold questioned.
"Indeed. The scorpios would have no problem on mauling Lynn in a matter of seconds, if its fear response wasn't triggered at the last moment."
"You always know on what to say don't ya?" Lynn sarcastically remarked with a bit of a glare as leave it to her brainiac sister to have the image of that thing's teeth tearing into her face, go right into her mind.
"Sorry older sister. I'm a realist. Now back to our original topic regarding the scorpios's fear response. It's a great concern for us as whatever can scare it enough for it to flee from the scene is all we need to know that we need to get ourselves away before the bigger threat arrives." Lisa explained before a big thud vibrates through them.
The sudden thud gets all of them to look back towards the jungle, where a series of trees are shaking as the thuds grew more closer and louder.
Finally emerging out from the treeline. The tyrannosaur takes about three steps into the clearing before stopping to have a look around the area before finally laying her eyes on the cowering Louds and McBrides. Letting out a roar, the two families wasted no time on making a beeline towards the boat with the heavy footsteps of the tyrannosaur coming after them.
They about reached the same area on where they have discovered the bodies of Rip Hardcore's crew, when Clyde suddenly tripped on his untied shoelaces, resulting in him falling forward, right into Lincoln.
Now on the ground, a good distance away from their fleeing families. Clyde looked down to his shoes in frustration for what a time for them to be untied.
"Lincoln! Clyde! Look out!" Lori cried out in terror.
Looking back, the two saw the tyrannosaur's mouth lunging down for them. Rolling to the right, it just misses them by a few inches, she snaps at them again, only to once again miss after they jumped themselves back in a desperate leap.
Scrambling themselves up. The two run in the direction towards the dead crew members before dashing their way in between two containers, where once inside the maze; they make many turns in hopes that they can go around the tyrannosaur and make a run for the awaiting boat. All the while the tyrannosaur loudly bellows in frustration as she tries to find her chosen prey.
Eventually they make a left turn near a blue container and finally found an opening two rows away from them. Through this opening; they saw the truck: Lori, Leni, and Luan had hid in earlier. "Hurry Clyde! This way!"
Running themselves out of the maze, they are relieved to see that their plan had work. The tyrannosaur is somewhere else and they have a clear opening for the boat, where much of their families are desperately beckoning them to quickly move forward.
Doing just that. They are almost away from the containers, when their families suddenly switched to signal them both to stop, but before they could even comprehend on what it meant. Two containers fell forward as the angry tyrannosaur slammed into them, the green one tipped over and the top, red one fell right in front of them, efficiently blocking their path.
Having their path suddenly blocked off, Lincoln and Clyde fearfully looked up at the low growling tyrannosaur peering down at them from the other side. She then effortlessly uses her head to push the container aside and approaches the two boys, who's all bodily functions have forced them to slowly back away from the advancing predator.
"Boys!" Without thinking, the five older sisters rush forward, but skid to a stop about five feet away from the tyrannosaur as she now turns her attention squarely on them. She releases a loud roar at the newcomers, causing the five girls to freeze up on the spot in terror.
"Oh man Lincoln! What are we going to do?!"
He honestly didn't know, but he had to do something or else his sisters were going to become lunch. In pure desperation, he looks around the area, until finally laying his eyes on the truck where a bright idea suddenly hit him hard. "That's it!"
Grabbing Clyde by the wrist, he pulls him over to the truck, where he opens up the hood and began to look around through the wires and engine parts.
"What are you doing exactly Lincoln?" Nervously looking in-between his best friend fiddling with the truck wires and the tyrannosaur approaching the frozen girls, it was hard for Clyde to focus on just one thing.
"Lana taught me this trick, when she was fixing Vanzilla one time."
"Wait? When did that happen?"
"I think it was in March. I came into the garage to get something, but then saw her working on the van. I got a bit curious and asked her on what some of the wires are connected to do? And she showed me that these particular group of wires, when turned on; does this." Flipping something on the engine, the truck comes to life with a blaring horn.
It's so loud and sudden, it made Clyde jump back a bit. "Whoa! How did you do that? I don't even think that's how it works!"
"Me either. Honestly; I was entirely hoping on dumb luck. Thankfully it worked out fine." He replied with his fingers covering up his ears to block off the blaring horn.
Alerted by the noise, the tyrannosaur turns around to face the truck. Completely ignoring the two boys standing near it, she walks her way up to it, which Lincoln and Clyde took this advantage by running past her.
Reaching the truck, she leans down her massive snout to the truck's hood to sniff it a bit before giving it a slight push back. She then bites down on the hood and lifts it up into the air, before then throwing it right at a small building causing it to crash right through the roof, silencing it up for good.
No longer having the horn blaring into her ears, she looks back to her fleeing prey and rushes after them, gaining ground with each step.
Getting closer and closer to the boat, none of them dared looked back as they knew that she was pretty much on their heels. On the boat; they took notice of Harold and Howard entering the bridge to start up the boat's engines, while their family all cried and motioned them to hurry up.
The engines then burst to life, causing a series of bubbles to erupt out from the back as it slowly turned around to face the open ocean.
"We're going have to jump!" Lynn shouted.
"You sure that's a good idea?" Luan asked for she didn't want to fall into the water.
"Would you rather stay on the dock with her?" Luna rhetorically asked while pointing back to the closing in tyrannosaur.
"Point taken." Finally reaching the almost turn around boat, they all make a great leap forward; just missing the snapping jaws that would've gotten ahold of Lori if she was a second late.
Despite the increasing distance between the dock and the boat. The four sisters have just managed to land on the boat's deck, however Lincoln and Clyde have missed it and are now hanging for dear life on the boat's back side.
Without wasting anytime, they all grabbed ahold of their wrists and pulled them safely onboard, although that action did hurt Lincoln a bit, but he wasn't complaining as it was better than either falling into the water or being scooped up by the T-Rex.
"Quick! Get us out of here!" Lynn Sr. shouted.
The McBrides didn't protest with that order. Having the boat completely turned around by now, they floor the boat forward, only to feel a short, jerk back that held them in place for a second before they felt themselves launch forward.
What had happened was that the tyrannosaur had bitten down on the side of the boat, holding it in place until the pile of wood and metal had broken off with a loud tear.
Holding the pile in her mighty jaws. The tyrannosaur spits it out into the water and watches the boat move away from her at increasing speeds. Angered that she had lost her prey, she gets up to her full height and released a long, loud roar at the retreating boat.
Breathing heavily from the amount of adrenaline now leaving them. The Louds and Clyde watched on as the angry tyrannosaur and the dock she was standing on were growing more distance with each passing second, why by the speed they were going in, it won't be long till she looks like a speck amongst the greenery of Isla Nublar.
Relief then overcame them for they have done it. They managed to escape the island alive, well most of them that is. They really have to remember to hold a proper funeral for Rip Hardcore and his crew when they get back to the mainland.
Lincoln and Clyde however; honestly couldn't believe it. After so long of surviving on that island, they are finally off it. This felt so surreal, they could barely speak. Instead, they fell completely onto their knees with the most joyful smiles and tears going down their faces.
Behind them. Their families are collecting themselves over everything that had transpired at the docks. It's a utter miracle that they have all managed to come out of that completely unscathed, well. Except for Lynn and her cuts, but those were minor in the long run.
In the bridge; Howard and Harold had set the boat to go completely one way before coming out on the deck to join in with everyone else as they continue to stare out at the retreating island.
"Well. Will be at Costa Rica in a matter of hours." Howard information.
Looking over to the bite mark the T-Rex left behind. Harold grew a bit concern on the boat's condition. "Do you think that's going to cause a problem?"
Looking at it herself with the professional eyes of a mechanic, Lana does a quick survey before happily turning back to face them. "No worries Mr. and Mr. McBride. The Rex didn't cause too much damage to put the boat out of commission. It's still 100% water worthy."
"Phew! Well ain't that a relief Hare-bear."
"Indeed it is Howie."
"But seriously." Lana continued in excitement while bouncing up and down by the heels of her feet. "That was awesome! The way she bit down and effortlessly tore a good chunk out! I mean just look at that bite mark she left behind! But that wasn't nearly as awesome as when Lincoln lured her away from Lori and everyone else by using the noise of a truck horn! How did you know to do that!?"
"I just thought it was a good idea." Lincoln shrugged with relief that it overall worked, otherwise it would've turn out badly for his older sisters.
"Hey. I know Lincoln pulled off a cool move and all. But don't we have some hugging to do?" Lola happily reminded.
"Oh yeah." Leni stated before rushing forward, right along with everyone else to give both Lincoln and Clyde a huge hug that they wouldn't let go of, until they reached the welcoming shores of Costa Rica.
When they eventually get home. A huge celebration is in order. They'll give them the greatest welcome home party in the entire history of mankind. They'll be music, games, and all of their friends will be there to greet them as they all express their love for the boys return home.
The only thing that may damper the mood of the upcoming celebration was that school is back up, but they will touch on that subject later for as there's one thing for sure as they sailed across the sea with the sun beginning to set over the horizon.
It's that they were going to spend a good deal of time with the ones they finally have back in their lives and nothing will separate them.
Soaring ahead gracefully in the sky. A flock of pteranodons sore over a grassy plain where both a herd of triceratops and stegosaurs are grazing upon, while near the edge of the jungle; an ankylosaurus peacefully slept in the shade.
Nearby in the jungle. Two brachiosaurs gracefully moved their necks above the treeline, while munching on vegetation with the smaller pieces falling to the forest floor.
Overlooking this scene from a cliff top. The velociraptor cocks her head a bit before raising her head up, listening to the roars of the tyrannosaur that's a few miles away from here.
It doesn't raise any concern for alarms as she calmly lets out her own series of calls to the sky.
Going silent, she does another overlook at the dinosaurs she doesn't dare take on alone below; before finally rushing off towards her nest.
She needs a good rest as tomorrow brings another day of survival in nature's deadly game of life and death. She doesn't know her overall future, but she'll survive.
