Chapter 23: Meeting Melissa!
Heights Alliance. Ochako Uraraka was currently speaking to Tsuyu, just relaxing as she had a smile on her face.
"Ochako." Uraraka turned to see who called her by her first name to her surprise and joy it was Midoriya who looked like he was on a mission he walked up to her.
"Uh, D-Dekiru d-do, you need some--EEK?!!"The girl quickly had to cover her mouth as Midoriya ran his hand on her thigh and was slowly making his way upwards.
"D-Dekiru s-stop, people are gonna."She looked around to see everyone had mysteriously disappeared. It was just her and Dekiru alone.
Midoriya proceeded to smack his lips on Ochako's lips. The girl was confused and more than a little aroused by the fact that Dekiru was taking such charge.
The lips separated a trail of saliva connecting the two. The boy previously wearing a shirt had somehow disappeared, leaving his ripped muscles. She unconsciously ran her fingers.
"N-N Dekiru w-we can't," Ochako said while blushing profusely. The boy ignoring her plead began to plant kisses on her neck as he pinned her down all Ochako could do was stare up at the boy who was smirking.
"Don't worry, I'll be gentle," Izuku said before unbuttoning his pants. Ochako's heart began to beat faster and faster. She honestly had no clue what was happening.
... But she wasn't going to stop it either.
The next thing she heard was a banging. The banging seemed to get louder and louder.
"Ochako," Izuku said as he pinned against the door.
"Wake!" He suddenly shouted
The girl shot open her eyes as the banging was Mina Ashido knocking at the door.
"Girl, you wanted me to wake you up, remember? Said you wanted to get a head start on the regiment Midoriya left us." Ashido said with a pout.
"I-Ill be r-right there." She said face crimson as blood she proceeded to scream into her pillow and rapidly kick her bed.
"I need to suppress these feelings down! I need to focus! I can't be distracted by..."She suddenly remembered the day Izuku finished cleaning the beach and his muscles.
"N-No. I-I'm better than this. I can control my hormones!"She said with a clenched fist and blushing cheeks.
"Be better than Mineta!"Uraraka said as her dream replayed in her memory."Dammit."
She locked the door of her room and would spend the next few minutes to herself.
"Sorry, Dekiru," Ochako said with guilt.
...
MORNING IS HERE! MORNING IS HERE! MORNING IS HERE!"
"Uuggh..." Izuku tried to slap the alarm clock but felt nothing but... facial features. Izuku peeked open his eyes to see All Might in his buff form crouched down next to his plane seat. "Were you... pretending to be my alarm clock?"
"Why yes, I was. I thought you might want to wake up and see a bird's eye view of I-Island before we land."
Izuku perked up at this and looked out his window to see the giant facility of I-Island in the ocean. "Wow! It's even bigger than I thought!"
"Astonishing, isn't it? There are so many exhibits, labs, and attractions for all kinds of quirks and technology. It's like one big city as well." All Might said.
"I'm surprised the school agreed to do this," Izuku said he's face pressed up against the window.
"The school and I felt you deserved some consumption after everything you had gone through because of our negligence." All Might said with a guilty tone.
Midoriya noticed this and quickly went to reassure his teacher. "N-No All Might, it's not like it's U.A. It's fault I was -"
All Might cut the boy with a hand raised. "We allowed villains to enter the school's premises. And we didn't arrive at the scene in time, I used up my time and wasn't there for your class and class B. All you did was fight and protect your friends. Yes, you made a mistake in the beginning, but you quickly learned and took it down. And you were forced to take the bullet for Yaoyorozu, resulting in you getting poisoned. It's no one's fault but ours. You can afford to make mistakes. That's why you're here to learn, but we are professionals, and your teachers we can't afford to make such callous mistakes. So while we are here, enjoy your time, relax young Midoriya, and be a teenager. Some fantastic training facilities rival U.A. Go nuts, kid."
Midoriya nodded before looking out the window as All Might.
"Oh, young Midoriya, young Iida had informed us of your mall trip..." All Might said the boy flinched. He slowly turned to All Might.
"Y-Yeah." Midoriya removed his face from the window. " I'm assuming you did something?" Izuku asked, to which the pro gave a heavy sigh.
"As much as I want to, we don't have evidence, and like young Kirishima said they were more people with Ishida, was it?" Midoriya nodded.
"We tried, but they bit back and said young Uraraka, Kirishima, Iida, and Ojiro threatened them they left you out well because y'know.."
"They still think I'm quirkless," Izuku said as All Might clenched his fist in anger.
"I would like the United States to smash his face in, using his power to threaten people. That's just... Deplorable. " Which made Midoriya widen.
"P-People?" Izuku asked in worry. Which All Might nodded.
"Principle Nezu concluded that you're not the first person he's threatened, some people and the group they were with may have threatened them. And he's not afraid to use his quirk. In terms of power and skill, you could take him down easily. But that doesn't mean he's strong it's actually a testament to your strength. He's actually a powerful and stragistic person." All Might said with a serious tone. Midoriya could only look down some anger and rage boiling. The fact that others are tormented by him makes him mad.
"I'm only telling you this, I didn't tell you about the Aldrea investigation that we held because knowing you might have said no, or given an excuse, but those teachers' negligence needed to be accounted for. Regardless of your kind and forgiving nature. The students didn't do anything physical, I'll imagine, because of one Kevin Levin."All Might gave a sigh knowing how much the boy risked for his protege protecting him every day, a true hero in All Might's book
" I'm telling you this to be careful. He has a license from what it seems. He seems very eager to cause you harm." All Might warn.
"I'm not saying don't defend yourself. In fact, I would stress you to do so, but it's better to walk away or even run. Engaging in combat may cause problems... Especially for you." All Might finished.
"I don't think he'll do anything, at least not after the sports festival. I'm pretty sure he wants to see me completely fail before he beats me down him down himself." Izuku said which All Might gave a "Ha!"
"Then he surely is going to be disappointed." All Might said with a laugh which made him smile.
The plane will begin to descend to I-Island.}
"Now it's about to get pretty exhausting because once I arrive, I..."
Toshinori's body began to smoke and expand with a puff of smoke he was an All Might persona shedding his coat. Revealing his silver-age costume.
"... Must maintain my muscle form constantly! Now then you should change. Your hero costume should be in the luggage you brought. Since you're going to use your special hoodie, hopefully, you brought it."
Midoriya nodded "Hmm" As he pulled it out, he could still smell the faint scent of Tsuyu. He won't lie it kinda of felt nice it was like she was always there with him.
After a skirmish with the press, which All Might manage to escape. And we're ushered through a secret exist so they would not be bombarded by the crowd of All Might fans. They stepped into the island properly, seeing the crowds of people walking around."Wow, this is I-Island. Can't believe I'm actually here."Midoriya looked in awe.
"Indeed Young Midoriya, a man-made island so investors and scientists could push the bounds of what's possible without endangering the world at large." All Might explained as he looked around and soon spotted a car with a man in front of him holding up a sign with Izuku's name on it.
Midoriya had a confused look.
"I thought it would best to have your name instead of my own as crowds as we would hoards of people around the car."All Might explained as they walked over to the car. All Might raise an eyebrow.
"Marshall? Shouldn't Ranjit be here?" All Might asked.
"He said something about his ...wife I'm filling in for him," Marshall said with a smile.
"Ha! Well, this is young Midoriya." All Might said as he introduced his protege to the man.
"Hello," Midoriya said as he shook the man's hand.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Marshall. I'll be driving you to your location." He said, giving him a smile which Midoriya returned in kind.
A few minutes later
Midoriya and All Might were dropped by Marshall, who waved goodbye. He looked through the window before his phone rang." Hey Lilypad."
Midoriya and All Might saw as two people stepped out of the building a brown-haired man, Midoriya immediately recognised the man as David Shield, next to him made the boy widened as a blonde girl with glasses began to walk beside David Shield. The boy was speechless seeing the stunning girl, as she moved a few strains of hair from her face as the boy saw her face. She was wearing glasses, which made her just as cute. Midoriya could've sworn his heart literally skipped a bit.
"Uncle Might!" The girl called out as All Might caught her and spun her around.
"Melissa, it's good to see you. You've grown into a beautiful young woman, aren't you." All Might said, smiling as he set the girl on her feet.
"Dave, it's been too long, old friend. How are you?" All Might asked as the two embraced before he patted his back.
"It's good to see you, Toshi. I've been well." David said, stepping back before locking eyes with Midoriya." And you must be Izuku Midoriya, nice to meet you All Might speak highly of you."
The girl with blonde hair giggled."He couldn't stop gushing about you."
All Might acted like a school girl embarrassed." This is my daughter Melissa, and this is All Might's student Izuku Midoriya. He's here for the weekend. Apparently, he's quirk as he reacted rather interestingly to his hoodie." David said.
"Nice to meet you, Izuku," Melissa said as he shook her hand.
"L-Likewise." Izuku stuttered out internally, smacking himself.
Midoriya felt a little embarrassed. But smiled before shaking her hand, both David and Melissa's eyes fell on the Omnitrix he could tell that was technology nothing on Earth, Melissa herself noticed mesmerized by the device.
"I have never seen material like this." The girl ran along the device faceplate.
"Curious. It seems to be attached permanently to him, there's no visible way of rooming it." David said.
Melissa let her curiosity get the best of her as she pressed the button as the faceplate shot up and holographic of Heatblast.
"Woah." She turned seeing Midoriya's aliens.
"Ahem!" All Might got both of their attention, as the boy was a blushing mess, a girl had been holding his hand for so long.
"Oh!" The girl jolted back, blushing in embarrassment.
"We should head back inside." David said as All Might coughed a little, David immediately noticed." Melissa, please show Midoriya around the facility. I and Toshi need to do a little catching up."
The girl nodded before gesturing for Midoriya to follow her. David and All Might took a different turn as he coughed and returned to his skinny form. "Thanks for catching that."
[U.A. Japan]
Some of class 1-A students came inside groaning, sweating, and breathing heavily. Kirishima collapsed to the ground, alongside Kaminari and Sero, who slugged himself on the couch. Jirou came in with an almost smug look.
"Told you... so."Kyouka said as she collapsed to the ground.
Aizawa, seeing his students all exhausted and looking ready to pass out, could only smile maliciously in curiosity behind his scarf."What happened to you all?"
"That regiment Midoriya made us is pure evil," Mineta said
"That wasn't... regiment, it was hell!" Sero exclaimed.
"Wh-Why did we agree to this?" Kaminari said, twitching on the floor.
Yaoyorozu herself was breathing heavily as she drank some water, and Ochako chucked the whole bottle.
"Midoriya's regiment, huh? Maybe I should take notes." Aizawa pondered, which terrified everyone.
Jirou immediately went in defensive." Oh no, it was super easy, honestly!"
"Y-Yeah, we were just exaggerating," Uraraka said hopefully.
"You both can't stand up." Aizawa pointed out.
" I see you're all training well, that's good." He said before he left with a grin."But as much as fun to see you train till your hearts explode, is it helping?"
"But regardless, we are steadling getting stronger," Shoji said. A day had passed, and he could feel the difference.
"Yeah, even Mineta is improving," Hagakure said.
"Hey!" Mineta exclaimed in dismay.
"Speaking of Dekiru, where is he? I haven't seen him all day." Uraraka asked,
"Did you forget? He went to I-Island with All Might since y'know he's all hoodie thing." Ashido said. Slumping on the couch.
"Oh," Uraraka said before remembering yesterday with finger to chin.
Flashback.
"LET'S GO YOUNG MIDORIYA!" All Might exclaimed as he ran with a suitcase.
"R-Right," Izuku said nervously he'd suited the case in hand as he followed him running.
"C'mon Young Midoriya, keep up. I will not let you beat me again!" All Might said as they began racing.
"I was Fasttrack last time!" Izuku claimed as he ran with the pro.
"No excuses! Now, let's run off into their sunset!"
Uraraka looked from her dorm window at the odd interaction as a question mark appeared on her head in confusion.
Flashback over.
"Oh. Right." Uraraka sighed heavily, clutching chest. "No. Stop it, I-I can't be thinking about him, I can't keep missing him when he's gone." Uraraka thought. before she looked down.
Hagakure saw Ochako struggling with something. "I should've known she liked him! Urgh! I've been such a terrible friend, me getting all cozy and close with Midori must have..." A wave of guilt washed over her as she screamed into her hands.
"Uh, you okay Toru?" Ashido asked her friend.
"Hmm. J-Just the training y'know." Hagakure said. "She's known him longer. I-I should just give up. I probably don't have a chance. G-Guess I should try and avoid him... I-I really don't want to, but when he does choose her... I don't want to get in of their happiness." She sighed." I wish things stayed the same."
"I know what can make you feel better!" Mina said with a grin before she turned to Jirou, who was drinking a glass of water.
"Maybe the girl with a voice like an angel could cheer you up?" Mina said with a grin, Kyouka choked on her water, and she coughed before she turned to her classmates who were staring at her.
"We heard your singing when you were teaching Midoriya! I didn't know you could sing like that!" Kaminari exclaimed.
"Your voice was quite stunning!" Momo complemented as the girl blushed in embarrassment.
"My ears were so happy!" Toru said as she tried to forget about Midoriya.
Everyone nodded even though Koda gave a thumbs up.
The girl, however, wasn't blushing because her friends could sing it because it was well...
Flashback
Jirou leaned on the counter using their hand to support her head. As she thought about Midoriya and last night.
Kyouka was in her room. She had an ear jack plugged into her phone. She heard a knock at her door. "That must be Midoriya. I still need to talk to him about those jerks. But now he said he wanted to learn how to sing."
She opened the door, saw her crush, smiling, and stood rigid.
"H-Hey J-Jirou, I'm here, t-thanks for offering to t-teaching me!" Midoriya couldn't help but stutter and trip over his words. "I thought I was getting better! Why can all think she looks super cute right now?!"
"Dude, I don't bite relax. We have been friends for a while now." Jirou said as he entered.
"Yeah, but I've never been to your room. It's a little embarrassing." Midoriya said
For a few minutes, Jirou taught him breathing techniques to calm himself

Somebody I... can kiss, " She said. The last part looked at Midoriya, who was staring at each other, their hearts beating. Her eyes were half open as they leaned into each other.
Midoriya leaned in, tilting his head as the lips were moving closer, only inches apart.
"That was amazing!" Kaminari exclaimed outside the door. The two immediately stopped in their tracks as they turned to the door. Before they heard someone getting hit on the head.
"Ow!" Kaminari exclaimed."Hey!"
"Shh!" Ashido said with a finger to her mouth. "We don't want them to know we are here."
"Eh?" Both teenagers they face still inches away questioned hearing their classmates.
"I think that ship has sailed." Tsuyu said with a small rabbit.
"Probably," Shoji said as they saw the door knob turn, Jirou acting quickly shoved Midoriya away. The boy was on the floor twitching as their classmates entered.
Flashback over
The girl had her hands on her face, blushing from their memory, "Ugh, why am I acting so flustered!? I've had crushes before and I'm not like, like, this!" Kyouka thought her beating chest quickly pacing.
"B-But from his last girlfriend, I think anyone is an improvement in terms of personality, but when it comes to bodies she's got me beat, her boobs were as big as Ashido, and the girl had curves that even got Uraraka jealous! But her personality ruins it, I still should talk to him, hopefully after the sports festival I don't want this messing him up in the festival." Kyouka thought.
"Hey guys! We should have a girls' night!" Ashido exclaimed as she saw her friend still look a little sad, Toru looked at her best friend, her depressive mood, and vanishing, replacing them with excitement.
"Girl's night... out?" Momo asked in confusion as she put a finger to her chin.
"Ooo, yay! That sounds like super fun!" Toru said with a positive attitude.
"Sweet! Ochaco, Tsu, you girls in?" Mina asked as she pointed at the two. The two looked at each other before smiling. The two girls looked at each other before smiling.
"Ribbit. Sounds like fun were in." Tsuyu gave a rare smile to her acid friend.
"Great! Just leave Jirou and Yaomomo! Oh, and I'll ask Kendo to invite the 1-B girls!" Ashido exclaimed with a clap of her hands.
"Sounds like a lot." Kyouka rubbed the back of her head a speck of frustration as she planned on just relaxing in her room.
"Would we..."
The girls turned to the heiress, who looked somewhat excited.
"Would we be able to braid each other's hair and tell scary stories?!" The blurted as sparkled in her eyes from her enthustica energy.
Mina smiled at the raven-haired girl." Ab-so-lutley! and movies from dusk till dawn!" Mina said happily every girl looked excited seeing both of them excited.
"And the best part boys and crushes!" Ashido exclaimed, Hagakure, Uraraka, and Jirou froze.
The rest of the girls however looked ecstatic, especially Momo who always wanted to talk about crushes but she never really liked anyone to gush over but now she had, a certain green-haired freckle came to mind.
Tsuyu remembered the feeling of her green-haired friend's hoodie that figutervely and literally kept her warm."Ribbit sounds fun."
"I'm also excited," Momo said, blushing slightly.
" Relax, Ochako, y-you don't have anyone you like, so I-I should be fine, yep, totally fine." Uraraka tried to rationalize, but her heart just swelled up.
"This is bad." Kyouka thought," Kodai definitely has a crush on Green, and if I'm right, god, I hope I'm wrong. Some of the girls like him too, and if they all talk about them... "
"If Uraraka finds out I like him, I'm sure she would tell me to go for him. She'll say she's fine, but... I know she won't. I-I can't. I'll just have to avoid the topic. If I don't go, it looks suspicious." Toru thought as she clenched her fist.
"Good news, Kendo said the girls in class B are in!"
"Dammit." Kyouka internally thought.
[Back to I-Island]
"Thanks for catching that, Dave. I'm not sure how much longer he held that form." All Might said, panting a little as David poured him a glass of water handing it to the hero.
"Your time has decreased again. Your power seems to be fading even faster than I predicted." David said as All Might nodded.
"Oh well, I guess my retirement is soon approaching." All Might said with a smile
"This isn't a joke, Toshi! The world needs you. The world can't lose you they need the symbol of peace!" David shouted at his friend. He couldn't bear to lose his friend. He couldn't bear to lose the symbol. But what puzzled him was the fact Toshinori didn't lose his smile he looked like he wasn't worried.
" And they won't lose their symbol of peace. They will have one." All Might said with no doubt in his mind.
"But Toshi, you're losin--"
"I'm not talking about me." He walked over to look out the window and gave a smile at the one-way glass to see Melissa and Midoriya.
"Okay, I did a diagnostic check on your hoodie." Melissa began as she looked over her tablet.
"And?" Izuku asked.
"The hoodie is made of material not made on Earth, it has a self-warming system, it's adaptable to any quirk or and it's bulletproof," Melissa said, looking at her tablet.
"Bulletproof?!" Midoriya asked in shock he's eyes budling out of his head.
Melissa pressed a button as a machine gun came from the ground and aimed at the hoodie that was across the room, bullets were fired as the bullets fell to the ground. A few seconds later, all the bullets clanged to the floor smoke revealed the hoodie wasn't damaged.
"Bullet poof," Melissa confirmed with a nod. She turned to the stunned Midoriya." All Might said your quirk allows you to transform into form with different abilities, right?"
Midoriya nodded."Nezu speculated my forms somehow made my hoodie well..." He looked over the hoodie with sweatdrops."Like that."
"Gotcha well I'd imagine you want to train for the sports festival am I right?"
He nodded as she pressed a few buttons on her tablet and an obstacle course appeared. Midoriya looked at them in awe and excitement.
"All Might said you're faster than him in his prime." Melissa said, which made the boy blush."I-I don't think that's true..." He said, scratching behind his head as he pressed the button of the Omnitrix and began to dial.
"... But I'm not going to pass this up." As he slammed it down, the girl looked in surprise as a bright green flash as the boy transformed before her very eye, and what appeared was a blue cat-like alien.
"FASTTRACK!"He exclaimed before crouching down, taking a sprinter position.
"Just say when."
Melissa had a gun in hand she covered one of her ears."3."
Blue electricity crackled around him, Melissa could feel the power coming from him, but she could also tell he was holding back by a huge margin of power."2."
Fasttrack shot open his eyes, his green eyes crackling in green electricity, David watched from above in awe, and All Might could only smirk.
"1!"
The moment she shot the pistol Fasttrack shot forward, he became a total blur unable to be seen by the human eye as blitzed through the obstacle course dodging the obstacle, destroying the rob
The boy came to a hard stop skitting to the ground, breathing heavily as he shook, removing the remnant of the destroyed robots. Melissa, her hair was messy, the sudden wind making it a mess, and her glasses were crooked. She put the glasses back to normal positioning, and she slightly widened seeing the speed. "He's that fast while holding back? He's way faster than All Might now heck even in his prime. All Might was never this quick."
Midoriya returned, seeing he messed up the girl's hair and thought the girl would be mad at him as he quickly made his way to apologize.
"I'm sorry, Melissa!" Izuku said with a bow, which made the girl raise an eyebrow.
"Izuku, what are you apologizing for?" She asked with a tilt of her head.
"Y-Your hair, I-I messed it up." Izuku said, which made the girl look at her hair before laughing."Pfft! Don't worry, silly, "
"A-Are you sure?" Izuku asked
She nodded." Hmm, plus I mess up my hair all the time, so it's fine. Though we have more training regiments, wanna check'em out?'''"
The boy nodded. "Let's go!" He said enthustiaclly
From upstairs, David was gawped smack, never had he seen someone rival All Might in speed, and if that's true then there were other forms All Might describe, this kid was a walking talking literal powerhouse
"T-Toshi, where the hell did you find this kid?!" David asked as the pro chuckled
"He's also my successor," Toshinori said with a smile.
"Your successor?" David asked in surprise.
"Dave, you can see my body is failing. I'll have to retire soon. It's a sad fact that we both don't want." Toshinori said with some sadness, David could only clench his fist.
"But that boy... He makes me realize that when I'm gone, their world will be fine. Even without me." He said with a smile
"When we first met, I didn't think much of him at the time... But then I saw his sharp mind. He proved his strength to me he was brave as he is kind. That's when I knew he would be my succeed me." All Might said with a smile.
David could only ponder as the machine he built for All Might would regain his strength."Izuku Midoriya, huh?"
After a couple of hours of seeing what he's formed and what he could without his forms was rather impressive, Midoriya lay panting as Melissa stood over him."I think I overdid it."
"Just a tad." Melissa said, noticing the omnitrix previously green now red." Must indicate he's exhausted."
"Hey, Izuku wanna come to my lab? I want to show you something I have been working on, it's not complete but I'd like you to see it." Melissa said.
"Oh, uh, s-sure."
Melissa had helped Izuku up as they began to walk away together. The two had watched them leave as they began to catch up. But David could only ponder something, as he saw how much faith All Might had in the boy, the boy was undoubtedly powerful no question but he didn't see why All Might had so much faith in him.

"Here we are!" Melissa flipped on the lights in her lab.
"Wow! Do you have a lab entirely to yourself?" Izuku said, examining all of the lights and computers.
"Yep! She's all mine. Come over here." Melissa led him to a shelf in the corner of the room. She picked up a steel black box and took off the lid. Izuku watched as she pulled out a red high-tech wristband. "
"Your quirk was similar to Uncle Might's, as in it enhances your body. But I could tell by your careful movements that were holding yourself back. Even in your forms, you were holding yourself. I'm assuming your body must have bad side effects if you go over a certain limit." Melissa said as the boy looked at her in surprise.
"Wow, she's so analytical, kinda like Yaoyorozu." He thought.
Midoriya looked around to see on her work table a red band-like with circuitry exposed as judging by the coffees and notes litered the table she was working deginltey at whatever it was.
"Woah, what's that?" Izuku asked in curiosity as he looked at the unfinished project.
"Well, I don't exactly have a name for it yet, but you called the electricity thing you do Full Cowl earlier. So... how about Full Gauntlet? I hopefully should stand your full power."
"W-Wait, my full power?! Are you serious?!"
"Well, All Might's full power, when it's complete anyways till then, is just an idea," Melissa said. "So when you come back and it's complete, you can have it."
"W-What I-I can't take this!" Midoriya said, waving his arms, trying to deny it.
"All Might speaks highly of you, I can tell you think the world of him, am I right?" Midoriya blushed in embarrassment.
"Y-Yeah, he inspired me, I'm going to be a greater hero than him and live up to his ideal!" Izuku said, clenching his fist.
"Papa inspired me, he didn't have a quirk that would help him be a hero but that didn't stop him from being a hero, he helped All Might and so many people with his inventions I-I want to live up to him, and be just like him!" Melissa said with a smile, the boy himself inspired by her words.
Midoriya smiled before looking at the device." Then I hope we both reach our dreams!" He offered her a fist pump, which the girl returned in kind.
"Though I'm curious about how you made something like this, does your quirk give enhanced intelligence?"
"Oh, no, I'm actually quirkless."
Izuku froze as he looked at the girl in surprise."...Quirkless."
"Yeah, but I won't allow that to hold me back just because I can't destroy a building or control people with my mind. That doesn't mean I can't help people." Izuku could only stare in awe.
"Being quirkless was rough at first, but then I realized I didn't need a quirk, I could be a hero in my own way, I have a long way, but I'm getting there!"
Izuku was baffled... and yet ashamed. Here was this girl who when she found out she was quirkless, took it in stride and created things that could help save thousands of lives if not more. And when Izuku found out he was quirkless…
He felt so dejected just hoping somehow he would make it as a hero, that somehow he would make it into U.A. and make it a hero.
And here was Melissa, quirkless and happy as can be. Out of all the things Izuku had seen on this island, Melissa was by far the most incredible. Saving lives and living her dream. Izuku was utterly ashamed of his past self.
Midoriya turned to Melissa and gave a bow."Thank you... I'll use this in Thrive when it's complete. "
The girl smiled."Today, you didn't get a chance to look over the island. How about me, and you have a field day and hang out?" Melissa asked.
The boy brightened up, "That would be amazing!" he smiled, making the girl blush a little.
[U. A Japan]
"My ship's senses are tingling!"Ashido said with a worried look as the girls looked at Ashido in confusion.
The girls were in the common room popcorn at the ready. They were all in the pj's.
"I guess you guys are all excited, huh?" Shoji asked, stepping into the common room to grab a snack before going to his room for some slice
"You bet this is gonna be great." Ochako grinned, giving a fist pump and cheer.
"Just please do us a favour if you can, Shoji?" Kyoka asked from beside the tall guy. He glanced down at her and nodded. "Keep that little perv' away from Momo's room if you see him."
"Yeah!" Hagakure agreed, nodding enthusiastically. "He better not ruin my night or Yaoyorozu's first slumber party else I'll get Mina to melt his grapes off!"
Shoji grimaced and nodded.
"To be clear though," he clarified, "you don't mean his hair-ball things do you."
Hagakure only laughed evilly in response, Ahsido chuckled along the girl snickered in response. Shoji only shivered as he left.
"Okay, ladies! This going to be a girls' night, no boys, Iida will keep them in check. I gave him a pretty good reason, and he said he would make sure the boys were tamed."Ashido said, clearly excited.
Kendo relaxin was also excited. The girls comfortably watched a romcom enjoying their time together, and Ashido and Setsuna would comment or two.
When it was over, the girls began conversing, and Hagakure began braiding Yaoyorozu's hair, to the girl's pleasure as she was smiling like a school girl, which almost blinded everyone on how adorable it was.
"So any of you girls got any boys you have been thinking about?" Setsuna asked with Chessure grin to Kendo, who choked on her smoothy.
"I-I don't think we need to talk about that!" Uraraka said quickly.
"Y-Yeah, boys are dumb!" Kyouka said panicky.
"Boo!"Setsuna and Ashido said.
" Relax, we already know you like Kaminari Jirou. "Ashido said, which Kyouka raised an eyebrow.
"I'm sorry, what?" Jirou said.
"C'mon the way you tease him, joke around, and make fun of him, you must totally be crushing on him!" Ashido said with stars in her eyes.
The girl chuckled. "Sorry, but no, sorry to dash your dreams."
"Huh?! Really? Could've sworn you two as an item, " Ashido said dejectedly.
"But he had a super crush on you though," Kinoko pointed out. During our movie night, he couldn't keep his eyes off you.
"Sorry the feelings aren't mutual, but I think he found someone else." She said as Hagakure gave a knowing nod.
"Wait, really?!" Ashido asked.
"Yeah, he's head over heels for someone. we met her on Wednesday when we uhm... Had our escape."Hagakure said.
" If we're talking about boys, there has been someone I can't stop thinking about... "Momo began as she blushed as a few of the girls smiled and blushed.
" Someone who makes me want to be stronger... " Kendo said.
" Who's a lot fun to be around..."Ashido said as her mind blissfully thought of her crush.
"Who doesn't judge you on the way you look or act and likes for who you are.." Kyouka said, trying her best to suppress her blush
"They are always there for you no matter what. Ribbit."
"Damn, all you girls have it down and for your crushes, don't you?" Setsuna said, noticing the smiles the girls had Uraraka. However, saw this and had to say something.
"A-Aren't you guys afraid?" Uraraka said, looking at her tea. "We're working so hard to be heroes. Especially De--some people."
"If we went into relationships, we would just distract ourselves and the person we like," Uraraka said as everyone thought of this.
"Yeah..." Ashido thought. "Midori's working so hard, every day he's working so hard just to be the best he can be I've been selfish, thinking about me and what I want, I haven't even considered his feelings." Ashido thought as she began to feel sad.
"Maybe it's better if things just stayed the same." Hagakure and Uraraka said as a moment of silence filled the room.
"Yeah..." Ashido said
"It would be for the best," Momo said as her head was down while Hagakure braided her hair.
"Ribbit."
"No." Everyone turned to Kendo, who was still blushing.
Kendo shook her head." I don't want things to stay the same. If things stayed the way we are, then Midoriya would just always protect us."
Everyone's realization hit them. If things stayed something like USJ would happen again.
"I-I don't want to feel the way I did at the USJ. I-I don't want to feel weak." Kendo said as she clenched her fist.
"I wanna become stronger with him," Kendo said with a small smile
The girls looked at Kendo in surprise
" B-But aren't you worried about being a distraction or, or...
"There's probably a billion reasons why I shouldn't confess, but I know that I can and have stronger with him, even when he's a complete idiot running headlong into danger, I wanna run headlong into danger with him, I wanna fight side by side as equals! Isn't that what relationships are all about? Being equals? Improving each other, being there for each other. "
Everyone could only smile.
" Growing stronger together does sound..."Yaoyorozu said as she smiled at the thought as she pictured her and Izuku fighting side by side as a team."...Nice"
"Yeah, when he's sad or just wants to cry or whatever, he could use a shoulder," Ashido said, blushing at the thought.
Uraraka looked down. "I-I never thought of it like that."
Kendo had a bright smile. "Training, fighting, or something as silly as watching a movie. I wanna do it with him. It will be tons of fun! And that's why I'm going to train my ass off! If I make it to the third round and I fight Midoriya and I see that I've at least closed the wide gap between us... "
Everyone slowly began to realize the boy Kendo had been speaking, so pationsley was...
"... I'll confess my feelings to him!" Kendo exclaimed as a recent memory replayed in her mind.
Flashback
" Do you uhm think I'm girly?" She asked with a blush, as she looked away from him.
Midoriya was honestly confused. "Define girly?"
"Hmm... Curvy likes girly stuff, y'know like Ashido or Toru, even Uraraka, like paints, the fingers goes on dates, and other stuff, someone who isn't so, so tomboyish Someone, I guess, who makes guys fall for them. " Kendo sat down dejectedly and hugged her knees.
Midoriya put a finger to his chin. "If that's what you mean, then no, I don't think you're girly."
This somewhat hurt her."Oh."
"But that's what I like about you."Midoriya said the girl turned to him, her eyes wide."I mean sure you're not into shopping or whatever, but I admire your strong personality and never give up attitude! The way you know who you are is just so admirable." Izuku said, looking at her green eyes, the girl's face was slowly turning red from how close he was.
"And what does it matter? You're not girly. Jirou's not traditionally girly, and I think she's awesome! You wouldn't think Jirou isn't a girl because she doesn't act what you would consider girly?
"Of course not!" Kendo said, the whole thing being absurd.
"I don't know what defines as 'girly', but I like the way you are, and I think you shouldn't change who you are just to satisfy someone else. I like you. You're into motorcycles and fighting, which is why I think y-you're pretty cool."
Kendo smiled before wrapping her arms around the boy, hugging him."Thanks, Midoriya."
"K-Kendo's h-hugging me? A-Again wait, i-is this a regular thing?"
"You said that out loud." Kendo pointed out, which made the boy bush even harder.
"Oh, Midoriya, this isn't a hug." As a smirk grew on her face as an expression of confusion came to the boy.
"Huh?"
Before he was put in a chokehold. and now the girl was choking "Dammit I let my guard down!" They proceeded to giggle, with a light blush.
Flashback over
All the girls looked at Kendo as Setsuna smiled at her friend. "I'll bring the camera!" Setsuna said
"D-Don't you dare!" Kendo said.
" H-Hold up the guy you have been talking about is Midori? " Ashido asked with a blank expression with a strained
Yaoyorozu had closed her eyes as she took a professional look on as Hagakure continued braiding her hair, internally panicking.
"Why am I feeling this way? It is just a crush, a crush, but Kendo's feelings are clearly far stronger and at a deeper level.." She looked at Kendo clenching the bed sheet. "So why does it hurt so much knowing she plans to confess... While I'm... I-I can't he won't feel the same way, he probably wants a girl so headstrong as Kendo, someone, who wouldn't hesitate. Someone... Who's not me." Momo thought years of being in the high-class society taught her to hold back her tears.
Hagakure looked surprised as she looked at Uraraka, who just looked stunned and seemingly terrified. She herself had turned invisible so they wouldn't see her sad look.
Jirou could only stare blankly as she could clearly see the girl's expression of worry. She herself felt her heart almost shatter.
"Dekiru? Is who you like?" Uraraka said as she never even thought about the two spending more time with each other. She has known him the longest. She even trained him. She realises her feelings, and she's all ready to confess.
She clutched her chest.
"Ah, Izuku Midoriya, a vivacious prince with several roses in his bouquet." A voice said they turned to see Aoyama with a smile leaning on the table looking at the. Everyone stared at him in confusion
"Uh, how long has he been here?" Kodai asked.

"Uh, what are you talking about, dude?"
"You're all thinking about him, aren't you?"Gestured to the girls who gave him a confused tilt of their heads." Izuku Midoriya. "
"Is it because you all like him?"Aoyama said with a smile. The girls froze, and the whole room was silent. You could hear a pin drop.
Before Setsuna burst into laughter, "Wow French boy..pfft! That's pfft! Hilarious!" As she continued laughing, which made the girls chuckle.
"Shroom Aoyama your so weird," Kinoko said.
"Look, Midoriya is spooky but not exactly my type," Yangi said
"Oh, you prefer raven-haired boy?" Setsuna teased to which the girl flinched before she hid in her covers.
"Go away."
Ashido ignoring Aoyama's words began to tease Yangi." You two have been getting close."
"Shroom guys don't -"
Like a predator who has found her prey
"Oh, don't think we forgot about you and Kurorio," Ashido said as Kinoko hid under the covers.
Everyone slowly forgot about Aoyama's claim that many girls liked Midoriya. Ridiculous.
...
Izuku was astounded by the island. Everything he saw was something he thought couldn't even exist. A diving suit that could go thousands of feet below water, a helmet that can give a nearly 360-degree view at all times, and so much more. Melissa began to explain how all of these inventions came to fruition.
"Almost all of these inventions were made due to other inventions my Papa patented."
"Wow, you must be really proud of him."
The girl nodded."Now, how about we go to the fun stuff."
Izuku tilted his head in confusion as the girl grinned.
A few minutes later.
"AAAAHH!!" Midoriya was screaming his lungs out as he was one of the island attractions. Right now, he was spinning rapidly in molecule construction.
Melissa was next to him, smiling and laughing as they spun around.
They got out as Midoriya had swirls in his eyes and dizzy as the girl caught him before he could pass out.
"You look like you had fun." Melissa said she couldn't help but notice how cute the boy was."Have you had enough?"
"N-No, I think I'm still good to go."
Melissa proceeded to drag the boy around, they spent the day as normal teenagers riding on rides, and the boy even won her an All Might plushy.
"Thanks, Izuku, but I don't think I want an All Might plushy because y'know he's my uncle and it would be a little weird it be like if you had your room filled with All Might merch," Melissa said with a chuckle as the boy s scratched behind his head.
"Actually..."
The girl burst into laughter, holding her stomach as the boy blushed in embarrassment."Wow, you are a fanboy. Pfft!"
"I-I admire him." He said in a low tone he's faced as red as Yaoyorozu's costume.
"I admire my Papa, but that's worshipping Izuku," she said, wiping a tear.
They continued hanging out admiring the place as they grew closer and closer knowing a little more about each other now they sat in a Cafe, and the whole day got them a little hungry to Melissa's embarrassment as her stomach growled like a lion.
"Today was fun," Melissa admitted as they drank some smoothie with some chilli fries to Midoriya's surprise, realized he loved it.
"Yeah, it was fun." Izuku honestly felt somewhat envious and admiration to the girl.
"Melissa, if I'm honest with you, I really admire you." The girl raised an eyebrow.
"There's something that my classmates don't know about my quirk. It actually appeared pretty late." Izuku confessed which girl's curiosity was peeked.
"How late?"
"A... a year ago." He said as he twirled his straw in the glass. The girl spurted and coughed in surprise.
"A-A year ago? Th-Thats pretty late..." Melissa said, shaking a little before realizing something, the red shoes, and his nervous nature.
"You thought you were quirkless."
"Yeah," He admitted."For most of my life, I lived as a quirkless kid, I wasn't treated the best..." He gave a dry chuckle."I honestly wanted to forget my time as quirkless. "
Melissa widened a little as she listened intensively.
"That's why I admire you even though you were quirkless. You strive and worked hard to get where you are now. You never let the fact you were born quirkless get to you. I-I wish I was you, honestly."
"But you also made me realize that I can't change their past, but I also shouldn't forget it, I shouldn't pretend that part of my life didn't happen, so thank you..."
Melissa was stunned before she smiled, he was the first person she inspired, and that genuine smile showed her how earnest he was. She smiled back."No problem."
"But I don't think you don't give yourself enough credit," Melissa said.
"You have had your powers for a year, and the way you fought yesterday was incredible it is like you had them for your whole life. I can see you trained extremely hard, to get where you are now!" Melissa said.
Midoriya looked at her as he widened."Don't let the fact you got powers make you think you didn't deserve it, Uncle Might has told me of the things you have done from fighting against in USJ to saving a whole train of people. You are a hero, your quirk just... allowed you to show you what was inside you."
Izuku wiped some tears from his face as he cried a little." Heroes don't cry."
The girl patted his back before placing a kiss on his cheek.
"Let's both do our best, okay?"
Izuku smiled."Okay."
"Wait if your quirk came in last year how much do you know about it?!" Melissa asked in excitement to which Izuku pondered a bit.
"N-Not much, honestly when it comes to my forms I'm still trying to figure it out." He looked at the Omnitrix.
"I started out with 10 now I have 9 new forms, Swampfire, Upgrade, Ditto, Rath all new..." Melissa realized.
"So, you could possibly obtain more forms. If there was one more they could be 100 more, a quirk like... That it's unprecedented. "
"Maybe I can help you out?" The girl asked with a small blush.
"I-I mean the person who sent your support item probably didn't leave an instruction manual." She grabbed his arm with the Omnitrix the boy's face turned crimson.
"Here, I think certain codes, need to be put in for you to receive more aliens,"
"R-Really?" He became a blushing mess as the girl turned the dial, she pressed the buttons on the side,
"Of course, though a quirk like this should be national news, even in human form you are strong or possibly stronger than All Might, and with your forms..." The girl seemed to be thinking,
"I have made my decision! I'll help you figure out your quirk!" Melissa exclaimed. To which Izuku raised an eyebrow.
"I mean there's probably hundreds or billions of combination codes, and with that, we can figure out how your quirk works!"
Izuku looked at the Omnitrix, "I haven't made any progress when it comes to the Omnitrix I'm lacking in knowledge, if she could help me... But I'll have to lie to her about its true nature, and I don't like lying..." He looked at the eager who was beaming at him. He sighed.

Time-skip
Midoriya waved goodbye to Melissa as he was leaving.
"I'll watch you at the sports festival!" Melissa shouted as the two left
"And don't worry, we study your hoodie enough to make some workable material, but it might take a while!" David shouted back.
"Thank you!" Izuku shouted back.
"See ya, Dave! Stay out of trouble!"
"I should be telling you that!"
As the plane left, David could only think he wasn't sure if the kid had what to take to be the next symbol, but All Might trusted him he called the number."Sam, call it off."
{Sam: WHAT?! B-But sir--}
"Look, I've had... a change of heart, okay?"
Sam was silent for a few moments.
{Sam: Okay.}
"Thank you're sighed in relief as he pressed the end call.
Sam, on the other side, clenched his phone before throwing it."I don't care if it still happening. I deserve what's coming to me!"
He saw a news article that'Dr. Animo escapes'
"Maybe we could use some assistance."
