Later on that day
Lorena was the first to be picked up. And just seeing her race to the car in her colorful outfit and pigtails in her hair. You wouldn't tell anything else was going on.
"Daddy you're here. Where's momma?" She asked. Taking off her backpack as she put her on seat belt.
"Working at the store then she's going to have dinner out with you're aunts. I wanted to pick up the three of you." Lucas explained.
As Baxter and Beau soon got into the car.
"Dad what a surprise. Did you talk to mom?" Bea asked.
"The three of us have to have a talk of our own." Lucas replied.
As he started the car again and began to drive towards his home.
"What's for dinner tonight Lor?" Lucas asked. Once they all got inside.
"French fries and chicken fingers for me." Lorena replied.
As she went upstairs. With her things.
"Dad we don't have anything to talk about." Baxter replied.
"We're on you're side dad." Beau stated matter of fact.
"I appreciate the love and loyalty but i've never deserved it when it comes to this situation."
"You're mom did all she could to keep this family together."
"I was the one who broke her heart. Who wanted the divorce."
"And on the night i told her that i left."
"I'm not some victim in this story. I made my bad choices."
"I acted the way i shouldn't time and time again."
"For months on end. You're mom shielded the both of you and you're sister from it."
"I'm a very flawed man. You're deserved a better husband then i could give her and i haven't been the best father either."
"If you need someone to blame and be angry at it needs to be me."
"You're mom was the greatest wife to me. And i regret how it turned out. And i'm trying now to be better because there is no other choice." Lucas admitted.
