Welcome to the newest installment of the story this one will have far more Yuri goodness and the stories first duel. Also sorry If any summoning chants are wrong I'm relying on the Yugioh wiki since I can't bother to check the anime every time an ace monster is summoned. Also I am using the English names for cards since they're easier to look up. Please enjoy
Ch. 1 The Hell born King
Heartland Ruins.
Despite the speed at which Yuri had made his escape across dimensions Yuri still made the most strategic decision for his survival. Standard would be the most dangerous the home base of the Lancers and practically ruled by Reiji Akaba. Fusion would be just as bad with what Edo said of the new direction of Academia and their dimensions policy of having all high schoolers go to the island would make it even harder to hide in. He could survive in Synchro but with how many cameras covered that dimension if they wanted to finding him would be much easier. So by far the best dimension for him to hide in was Xyz the crippled dimension that would be far to focused on rebuilding to put any focus on trying to find him, the only risk was that this dimension would be easily the most aggressive towards anyone from his dimension.
"Trash Trash pick up Trash." Said a loud robotic voice.
Yuri was startled by sound turning around to see a trashed spherical robot that that was desperately trying to move its mechanical limbs. "Dumb bucket of bolts." Yuri said kicking the robot. This caused it to spin around Yuri's kick triggered a malfunction it spiting out trash most notably a black cloak.
"Well you at least managed to be semi useful in your final moments." Yuri says smugly lifting the black cloak to hide his identity.
Yuri continued to walk through the ruins he spotted multiple citizens of the Xyz Dimension hiding behind rubble our any of the barely standing buildings that remained. "This is revolting I shouldn't be hiding like pathetic prey." Yuri said under his breath each step he took to prolong his life sickened him. His own life had never been at question but here he ways scrounging around like a rat.
Yuri's stomach growled he initially mistook it for him feeling sick to his stomach because of his actions but when his vision began to blur and his walking becoming wobbly he realized it was hunger getting to him. He hadn't had anything to eat in two days and had been very active for those two days he was running on empty.
His eyes drifted he spotted a refuge camp there was a massive tent with clear light emanating from it. He knew that there would be food there but just as there would be food there was an even greater certainty of there being members of the Xyz resistance possible a Lancer our someone that could mistake him four his Xyz counterpart and easily the worst possibility his Xyz counterpart himself being there. Yet with another growl of his stomach Yuri couldn't deny it he had no other option.
Yuri stepped into the tent using the cloak to cover as much of himself as possible if they say his honor student uniform that would put him of not being of Xyz origin, most importantly he had to hide his face for some reason his counterparts were fond of surrounding themselves with their lessers our how they said it making friends.
Yuri walked up to the counter the women there had pink and purple hair large circle glasses a light blue under shirt with frilly sleeves and what looked to be a white tunic rapped around with a belt and spoke softly and weakly.
"I'm sorry that we don't have much food to go around." The women said apologetic handing Yuri a quarter of a loath of breath and glass of water. Wordlessly Yuri took the rations and began to walk away until her heard a voice.
"Hey Sayaka it's time for your break." Said a short boy with red and yellow hair and he was dressed as a cowboy. "Oh thank you Allen." The girl now identified as Sayaka said moving to leave the counter.
On his way to the counter Allen accidentally bumped shoulders with Yuri. Yuri turned his gaze as Allen passed him. "Oh sorry, huh." Allen began but caught off guard when he caught a glimpse of Yuri's face.
"Allen are you alright?" Sayaka asked walking up to check on Allen.
"Yeah just that guy he looked like," Allen began pondering the potential consequences if what he saw was true.
"He looked like who Allen?" Sayaka asked concerned.
"He looked like Yuto." Allen said his words hanging in the air ominously.
Yuri continued his wandering through the ruins of Heartland. He had devoured what little rations he was given yet they did little to satiate his hunger.
"Did that boy see me." Yuri muttered to himself worry evident in his tone. "He looked like he recognized me meaning he must be a friend of my Xyz counterpart." Yuri continued to speak to himself. If they figured out he was here finding him would swiftly become their top priority and that would mean a fight. Was he worried? No that was impossible why there was some worthy prey in this dimension there was no actual threats and even if their where that should excite him shouldn't it?
"Hey Punk what you doin round here? Don't you know this is Fuma brother territory!" A scrawny teenager yelled his voice was shrill and he was clearly trying to sound more frightening than he was.
Yuri not acknowledging the boys yells continued to walk.
"Hey I'm talking to you!" The Scrawny teen yelled.
Yuri continued his stride not bothering to converse with this bottom feeder.
"Chill Ginji it's the job of the leaders to deal with intruders." Said an older looking teen with a white suit and a shaved over head. Next to him was a muscular teen with much darker skin and dreads.
"Kaio, Rikuo!" Ginji yelped at the sight of the infamous Fuma brothers.
"Speak intruder! What are you doing on are turf?" Demanded Rikuo.
A slight smirk appeared on Yuri's face.
"You laughing? You're really asking for it pipsqueak!" Kaio exclaimed.
"Sorry I found it rather humorous, you're acting all big and yet I never once heard tell of you two clowns fighting against obelisk force." Yuri said with a condescending lear.
"Wait don't tell me!" Kaio began fear creeping in his tone.
"You're one of those fusion bastards!" Rikuo accusingly yelled.
"Your assumption is correct you're facing the fusion dimensions dominant predator." Yuri said proudly referring to himself.
"Heh perfect, first you and your bodies destroy the police letting my gang do as we please and know when my and my bro kill you we'll be heroes and the pact will be respected all across the world!" Rikuo yelled elated.
"Bro we doin this?" Kaio asked confidence returning to his tone.
"We're gonna squash this punk!" Rikuo exclaimed grabbing his duel disk.
"These paper tigers are boring as hell. If there little gang could be stopped by this dimension's pathetic police they stand no chance against me." Yuri thought to himself bored. "Fine." Yuri said.
"DUEL!" All three yell.

"I'll start us off I summon Pompadour Blizzardon." Kaio says summoning a black dinosaur with ice formed like a pompadour on its head.

"I then set two cards and end my turn." Kaio says nodding over to his brother.
"Heh my turn I activate surpassing instinct! When there's a dinosaur monster on the field I can summon one from my hand one level higher I summon Baggy pants Lavasaurus!" Rikuo yells summoning a red dinosaur with much thicker scales on its legs.

"Ha I activate my trap Blizzard egg level five when a monster is special summoned this card becomes a level five water attribute dinosaur!" Kaio happily yells as his trap raises up and becomes a monster on his field.
"Good work bro I set one card face down and end my turn." Rikuo praises.
"My turn." Yuri states drawing a card. "I set one monster in face down defense position and set one card face down turn end." Yuri explains.
"That's it?!" Kaio laughs. "It seems all this kids boasting
of being some predator was just blowing hot air bro." Rikuo laughs.
"How like prey to be lulled into a false sense of security." Yuri explains with sickeningly sweet tone.
"I'll be finishing things now." Kaio boasts. "I tribute my Pompadour Blizzardon to summon Duoterion." Kaio exclaims.

"Now I..." Kaio begins before getting cut off.
"You now have two level 5 monsters so you Xyz summon get on with it." Yuri say playing up his boredom.
"Ugh I overlay my level five Duoterion and level five blizzard egg to Xyz summon Rank five! Ice age Freezedon.

"Only two thousand attack points how do you expect that monster to finish me off." Yuri mocks.
"Trust me the summoning of my Freezedon sets in stone your defeat." Kaio says confidently.
"Yeah and since my bro special summoned a monster I can activate flame egg and it goes onto my field as a level five monster.
"I attack your pathetic face down Freezedon attack!" Kaio screams as a glacier is spawned from Freezedon's mouth and sent flying towards Yuri's face down.
"You attacked Predaplant Cephalotus snail this monster's effect makes in unable to be destroyed by battle. better luck next time ice for brains. Yuri mocks.

"Grr turn end." Kaio says through gritted teeth.
"My turn draw now with my level five baggy pants Lavasaurus and my level five flame egg I build the overlay network and Xyz summon rank 5 Eruption Volcasaurus!" Rikuo yells as a faint dinosaur its scales resembling molten rock.

"I activate Volcasaurus's effect by using on overlay unit I can select one face up monster on your side of the field and destroy it and you lose life points equal to its attack Magmax!" Rikuo screams ecstatic.
Yuri: 4000 - 1300 = 2700 LP
"Now that your field is wide open I attack you directly ho Volcasaurus!" Rikuo yells.
"I activate my trap card Predaplanning by sending one Predaplant from my deck to the graveyard I can place predacounters on all face up monsters on your side of the field making them all level one monsters." Yuri says activating his trap successfully placing predacounters on Freezeadon and Volcasaurus.
"But you still take the damage!!" Rikuo screams as Volcasaurus's magma consumes Yuri.
Yuri: 2700 - 2500 = 200 LP
"Heh for all that talk I guess it turns out you're our Prey!" Rikuo loudly mocks.
"Blah blah blah do weaklings ever get sick of hearing their own annoying voices!" Yuri yells playing up his annoyance. "Now it's time for the apex predator to feast." Yuri says in a hush whisper as if wasn't trying to startle a small rabbit.
"I draw!" Yuri exclaims looking to the card in his hand with excitement. "I play Polymerization! Two beautiful flowers with an insect alluring fragrance! Now become one, and form the hell beneath your petals, give birth to a new terror! Fusion summon! Appear! Poisonous dragon with hungry fangs. Level 8 Starving Venom Fusion Dragon!" Yuri yells sadistic glee emanating from each syllable.

"When my dragon is fusion summoned It gains the combined attack of all special summoned monsters on your side of the field." Yuri says a wicked smile on his face "Yes this was the feeling he was missing even if these two were barely a snack he did miss hunting."
"WHAT!" The Fuma brothers yell in shock.
Starving Venom atk 2800 4500 = 7300.
"Over, seven, thousand attack points." Kaio mutters out of fear.
"It's not over bro he can only take out one of us the other still has a shot at beating him!" Rikuo yells desperately clinging to his confidence.
"I wouldn't be so sure I discard Predaplant squid Drosera when I discard this monster I can select a monster on my field and it can attack all monsters on your feilds with Predacounters." Yuri says smiling widely.
"But that means." Kaio mutters.
"We lose." Rikuo finishes the confident man now having true fear evident on his face.

Rikuo Fuma: 4000 - 4800 = 0 LP
WINNER Yuri.
The two older teens were sent flying back by Starving Venom's attack. Grunting and gasping in pain trying to get up.
Yuri's smile lingers on his face for a second our two longer until it drops Yuri's expression was off. "This feels off that wasn't as fun as it used to be it almost feels hollow." Yuri thinks to himself his tone almost soulless.
"That was quite the impressive victory I never thought anyone could defeat the Fuma brothers so easily." Said a shady looking man in black suit and top hat he almost spoke like a corrupt carny.
"You don't care that I'm from the fusion dimension?" Yuri asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Ha my way of life didn't change at all when you fine folks terrorized this city, and in fact you folks inspired me. The way you all dueled was deliciously brutal. I'd love to personally invite you to are little dueling tournament." The Shady man said speaking as if this conversation was nothing but business.
"I don't care." Yuri says bluntly turning away from the shady man. "Your little tournament doesn't interest me in the slightest." Yuri says continuing his stride to leave.
"Tournament is a rather loose term, we more so just hold duels over who get certain supplies and accommodations I'm sure someone like you will find themselves having quite high status quite swiftly." The Shady man said trying to sweeten the deal as he followed Yuri.
"Does that's include food?" Yuri asks still continuing to walk away from the man.
"Of course, that being if you defeat your opponent." The Shady man says.
"So you're offering me two meals prey and food." Yuri says smugly stoping his stride gesturing for the shady man to lead him.
Underground dueling arena.
The two went through an underground tunnel entering the sewers. It was slightly renovated many lights littered the sewers making the walls they put up obvious with cheap black paint.
"Isn't it magnificent." The Shady man asks clearly trying to stroke his own ego.
"Well if you ignore the smell, did you have to choose a sewer for your grand dueling arena." Yuri says condescendingly.
"Well are style of dueling isn't the kind looked on with any favor so even before your kind destroyed Heartland we needed to hide in the shadows." The Shady man said.
"Well I guess it doesn't really matter so who am I dueling?" Yuri asked not caring to keep the conversation going any longer.
"Well I hope you don't mind but I'm throwing you up against the biggest wolf in our woods." The Shady man says.
"I'd be disappointed otherwise." Yuri says blankly.
"That's good to hear but before you go it's apart of are rules for you to wear these." The shady man says handing Yuri a briefcase and when Yuri opens it he finds three black disks with spikes and a red light at there center.
Without another word Yuri dawns the three black rings in their fitting positions. "Heh nobody's ever just worn them without questions this kid is different from any participant so far, this is going to be a truly brutal duel." The Shady man thinks to himself in awe as Yuri wakes his way to the arena.
The arena proper was clearly the main event it was ten feet lower and ten apart from the rest of the sewer it was surrounded in a cage this is were most of the criminals that called these undergrounds home the way the seats were placed almost made this cage match resemble a colosseum. Yuri stood waiting for his opponent.
"Welcome everyone this duel will be a first, as our challenger for tonight is not of this dimension! I'm sure you all know how those of the fusion dimension destroyed the system that damned are life styles the very same that inspired are style of dueling. He in his already short time in our dimension has already defeated the pathetic Fuma brothers who refused to join us, and by his own words was Academia's strongest soldier but will all of this prepare him to face our Champion! Hell Kaiser!!!" The Shady man announces with all the fan-fair of a wrestling promo.
An older looking teen approached he had dark blue hair a black skin tight shirt surrounded by a large black jacket with silver lining he also wore black pants with red lines that went done the whole garment that were topped off with a belt that's buckle had an emboldened R. But it was the man's blue hair and stern expression that told Yuri who this was.
"Ryo Marufuji? Is that you I thought you died!" Yuri says playing up his surprise and putting emphasis on the "you died" in an almost insulting manner.
"Yuri." Hell Kaiser utters. He clearly recognized Yuri but despite this he barely reacted simply activating his duel disk.
"Aww that's cruel, it's been so long since the two of us have seen one another, I think it was right before you and Edo left to lead the attacks on Xyz, and how did you fake your own death again I'm really curious." Yuri said acting as if the two were long lost friends.
"Ryo Marufuji is long dead all his relations are irrelevant I'm here to duel, if you're going to keep wasting my time you can run back to the Professor, brat." Hell Kaiser says his tone in stark contrast to Yuri's lacking any enthusiasm.
"Fine then Hell Kaiser let's duel." Yuri says his tone still filled with enjoyment.

"Challenger's first." Kaiser says.
"Don't mind if I do champ." Yuri says in a fake tone of gratitude studying his own hand.
"I start my turn by summoning Predaplant Moray Nepenthes, I then play Predapractice this card allows me to special summon a Predaplant monster from my hand I summon Predaplant Pterapenthes, and after Predapractice is used I can bring a Predaplant card from my deck to my hand." Yuri says.

"And with that I end my turn. You're up Hell Kaiser." Yuri says playfully.
"My Turn!" Hell Kaiser roars. "If my opponent controls a monster and I do not I can summon this monster Appear Cyber Dragon!" Kaiser yells placing down his trusty dragon.

"Cyber Dragon attack his Moray Nepenthes Evolution Burst!" Kaiser yells pointing at Yuri's monster.

As Yuri's life points go down it triggers his black disk as small sparks of electricity shoot from them. "Grgth." Yuri grits his teeth.
"That's the style of duel here if you can't take the pain get the Hell out of my arena." Kaiser says callously.
"So this is what you left Academia for, you damn masochist." Yuri says a wide smile on his face staring at Kaiser.
"I set two cards face down and end my turn." Kaiser says not acknowledging Yuri's comment.
"My turn I summon Predaplant Squid Drosera, then I play the spell card Fusion substitute this card acts like Polymerization but only allows me to use monsters on my field. Merge plants from my demonic garden grown to kill and form a beast of new terror, Fusion summon level 7 Predaplant Chimerafflesia." Yuri gleefully recites.

"Chimerafflesia attack his Cyber Dragon!" Yuri yells. "When Chimerafflesia battles a monster its attack points rise by 1000 and your monsters decreases by 1000!" Yuri states.

"I activate my trap card Draining Shield, with this card I can negate your attack and gain life points equal to your monsters attack." Hell Kaiser explains.
Hell Kaiser: 4000 3500 = 7500 LP
"What don't want to join in on the pain, I thought you enjoyed these shock collars." Yuri teases.
Hell Kaiser allows a strong smirk to spread across his stern face. "Oh but I do Yuri the more life points I have the more I can get electrocuted. But the only thing I enjoy more than being dealt damage is dealing it myself." Kaiser says continuing to smile.
"Turn end." Yuri says.
"My turn!" Kaiser exclaims drawing. "I play graceful charity this card allows me to draw three cards and discard two. I then banish the Cyber Dragon core I just sent to the grave to summon a second Cyber dragon from my deck." Kaiser says.

"I then build the overlay network! Futuristic Dragon powered by the stars themselves sharpen your fangs in preparation for satisfaction Xyz Summon! Rank 5 Cyber Dragon Nova.
A metallic dragon resembling the original cyber dragon rose from the abyss of the Xyz summon it had black metal plating in many spots. It had wings raising from its back and its core clearly held much energy glowing red.

"Oh so weren't just twiddling your thumbs in this dimension, you've actually upgraded your deck with there inferior summoning method. You've peaked my interest." Yuri compliments.
"Well all you've done is bore me." Kaiser says. "I activate Cyber Nova's effect by discarding one overlay unit I can summon one Cyber Dragon from my grave and since one of the ones I used for my Xyz summon recently was sent there I'll summon it know. Arise Cyber Dragon!" Hell Kaiser yells.

"I then use Cyber Dragon Nova's effect, I send the original Cyber Dragon on my field to the grave to increase my Cyber Dragon Nova's attack by 2100!" Hell Kaiser says.

"That's still not enough to defeat Chimerafflesia when you attack your monster will be weakened why mine will only grow in strength." Yuri says.
"That would be the case if I didn't have this card I play the trap infinite impermanence. This card allows me to negate the effect of a monster on your side of the field so Chimerafflesia's effect is no more! Attack Cyber Dragon Nova Solar burst!" Hell Kaiser roars the attack eviscerating Chimerafflesia.
Yuri: 3500 - 1700 = 1800
"AHHH!" Yuri screams from the shock.
"Turn end. And now that my turn is over Cyber Dragon Nova's attack returns to normal." Hell Kaiser says emotionless.
Cyber Dragon Nova 4200 2100
"Heh I can see why you like these things they really make dueling a truly electrifying experience." Yuri says his wicked smile growing.
"My turn I summon Predaplant Flytrap, when this monster is summoned I can place a Preda counter on one of your monsters since it's the only option I select your Cyber Dragon Nova I then activate the effect of my Predaplant Drosophyllum Hydra with this monster I can special summon it by tributing a monster on your side of the field with a Preda counter." Yuri explains happily.

"I'm not done since Chimerafflesia was destroyed I get a Polymerization from my deck to my hand and with the effect of Fusion substitute I can banish it to send a fusion monster in my graveyard back to my extra deck I send Chimerafflesia back to my extra deck." Yuri explains.
"I bet you know what this means." Yuri mocks.
"Just get on with it." Kaiser says lacking enthusiasm.
"As you command, I play Polymerization return to me Chimerafflesia!" Yuri says.

"You're not going to summon your dragon Yuri?" Hell Kaiser questioned.
"Well if you're not going to respect me by using your fusion monsters I might as well pay your rudeness forward." Yuri playfully responds with a wink.
"Sadly since it's not battling a monster it's attack points don't increase but I'll settle for 2500 points of damage." Yuri says as Chimerafflesia fires its fanged tentacles at Hell Kaiser.
Hell Kaiser 7500 - 2500 = 5000 LP
"ARGTH!" Kaiser grunts in pain. As sparks of electricity emanate from his rings.
"I set one card facedown and end my turn." Yuri says mockingly.
As the sparks subside Hell Kaiser grows a manic smile. "Good I was afraid this duel was gonna be easy, Now My turn!" Hell Kaiser roars.
"I play Pot of Greed this card allows me to draw two more cards I then summon Cyber Dragon Drei." Kaiser announces. A more slick version of Cyber dragon appears on the field with glowing yellow lights.

"I then play double summon this card gives me another double summon this turn I summon Cyber Dragon Zwei!" Kaiser explains.
Another slick version of Cyber dragon appears but this one with bright neon green lights.

"Now that I have two machine type monsters I play Iron draw allowing me to draw to cards but I can't draw for the rest of the turn. I then play Evolution Burst! If I have Cyber dragon on my field I can target one card on your side of the field and destroy it." Hell Kaiser says.
"But you don't have Cyber Dragon on your field." Yuri says confused.
"Correct but when Drei is on my field its name becomes Cyber Dragon." Hell Kaiser explains. "But i'm not done since Drei was normal summoned all my monsters become level five." Hell Kaiser announces.
"Wait you're not." Yuri begins shocked.
"Oh I am I'm Xyz summoning my second copy of Cyber Dragon Nova!" Hell Kaiser roars.

"I'm not finished!!" Hell Kaiser screams. "When Cyber Dragon Nova is on the field I can rank up Xyz him Cyber Dragon Infinity. Star evolve into the grand cosmos and grow even further into incomprehensible heights Xyz Summon Rank 6 Cyber Dragon Infinity!" Hell Kaiser screams.
An even more futuristic version of Cyber Dragon Nova appeared on the field with more black metal and Red lights.

"Still only 2100 attack?" Yuri says confused.
"Not for long Cyber Dragon Infinity gains 200 attack for each of its Overlay units.

"This duel is over Infinity Burst!" Hell Kaiser roars as a red beam fires from Cyber Dragon Infinity.
"I play the trap reinvigorated Predator this card allows me to summon one Predaplant from my grave without its effect and in attack mode." Yuri says. "Return once more Chimerafflesia." Yuri continues.

Yuri: 1800 - 200 = 1600 LP
"Grth!" Yuri grits his teeth. "Since Chimerafflesia was destroyed again I'll get another Polymerization on my standby phase." Yuri says.
"So you managed to survive I end my turn." Kaiser says returning to his calmness.
"Don't get to cocky Hell Kaiser I'll turn this duel around right here. I play the equip spell Predapruning this lets me bring back a Predaplant from my grave so once again Chimerafflesia graces the field." Yuri announces.

"I then play Polymerization fusing the Chimerafflesia on my field and the Predaplant Byblisp in my hand. Murderous amalgamation combine with the lethal insect Fusion Summon level 8 Predaplant Dragostapelia." Yuri yells as a slender dragon with wide wings with bulbs atop them emerged on the field with a roar.

"I then play Polymerization I fuse the Proto-Cyber dragon on my field whose name becomes Cyber dragon and the Cyber dragon in my hand to Fusion summon level 8 Cyber Twin dragon!" Kaiser shouts as what appeared to be a larger two headed Cyber Dragon Getting the crowd to cheer wildly it seemed Kaiser fusion summoning was a rare event.

"Irrelevant I can banish Superior Reflector Unit to switch Barrier Dragon to defense position." Kaiser says confidently.
"So you survived your dragon is still destroyed." Yuri says petulantly while Starving Venom destroys Barrier Dragon.
"I end my turn and since my turn is over Starving Venom's attack returns to normal." Yuri says.

"My turn I summon Cyber Valley." Hell Kaiser says calmly as what looked to be a slim almost zombie looking Cyber Dragon appeared on the field.

"Quite it with your jokes, and get on with your turn. Turn end." Hell Kaiser says annoyed.
"Well since we're both stalling you might as well share what happened." Yuri says drawing his card.
"Come on when did Ryo Marufuji become Hell Kaiser?" Yuri says placing his hand behind his back swaying back and forth.
"You're not gonna drop this are you?" Hell Kaiser grumbles.
"Nope!" Yuri says chipper.
Hell Kaiser grits his teeth and scoffs. "As you know I alongside Edo Phoenix were sent to lay siege to the Xyz. For the first few months everything went off without a hitch we slaughtered those civilians without any remorse." Hell Kaiser explains.
"No, please don't tell me the great Ryo Marufuji started to feel bad about just a little genocide." Yuri teases.
"You wanted my story so shut up and listen. I carded hundreds without mercy and without difficulty, until him." Hell Kaiser says placing reverence on the Him. "Apparently I had killed his father and brother, he dueled me with unmatched animosity, it was glorious." Hell Kaiser says in admiration.
"Dueling had only ever been weapon for carnage, but in that duel in that moment it was my only hope for survival. The duel ended in a draw but I was terrible injured, Obelisk Force looked for me but for reasons I didn't understand at the time, that's when I was found by these people as you know they admire Academia's style of dueling and with no where else to go I came to this arena, and finally dueling with these shock rings I finally understood the feeling I was chasing the ultimate duel with both participants lives on the line. I've walked through a storm of electricity pursuing the feeling and through that fire of pain Ryo Marufuji died and Hell Kaiser was born!" Hell Kaiser says a manic smile of bliss growing on his face.
"Well is this the ultimate duel you've been searching for?" Yuri asks smiling.
"No, your cards have been so drenched in your own bloodlust, that there is no difference for you in living and going in for the kill, you've been bred to be a killing machine it's all you know, your blind passion for slaughter doesn't interest me a bit." Hell Kaiser says bluntly.
Yuri looked on in a bit of shock his eyes wide. Before he surprisingly grit his teeth. "Starving Venom destroy Cyber Valley!" Yuri commanded.
"When Cyber Valley is targeted for an attack I can banish it to end the battle phase and draw one card." Kaiser explains.
"I set one card, Turn end." Yuri grumbles.
"My move!" Hell Kaiser yells drawing. Hell Kaiser looks to the card he drew and his smile continues to grow. "I play Overlord Fusion this card allows me to conduct a fusion summon by banishing monsters from my grave I banish all three of my Cyber dragons I'm my grave alongside my Cyber Dragon Infinity. Combine! My cybernetic serpents and form a demonic amalgamation from the factories of Hell rain down Hell fire from steely jaws! level 8 Chimeratech Fortress Dragon!" Hell Kaiser screams as what resembled a Cyber dragon formed out of mechanic contraptions that opened up to reveal more Cyber Dragons.

"By itself sure but I've only begun!" Hell Kaiser roars.
"You've done good to destroy my monsters Yuri but that's all for this moment I banish my Cyber Dragon Drei, Zwei, Proto, Barrier, twin, Core, and both of my Cyber Dragon Nova's. Home-base of the Cybers descend from the heavens and rain down your artillery upon my foe!" Hell Kaiser yells as a ginormous Cyber Dragon head appeared in the sky with what resembled a normal Cyber dragon was a top the larger head with multiple smaller Cyber dragon head flew around the behemoth.

"It's as big as a chaos giant." Yuri noted as a shadow is casted over him.
The crowd went wild their heads filled with the potential destruction this mechanical monster could enact. The Cyber dragon monster was so large that if it moved around it would destroy the sewers themselves.
"I doubt a level ten monster is staying at zero attack points either." Yuri says.
"Correct! This monster gain five hundred attack and defense points and since I used eight it has both four thousand attack and defense points!" Hell Kaiser passionately explained.

"Two monsters with four thousand attack points." Yuri noted keeping a steely glare set on the monsters like a lion noting worthy rival's.
"When Starving Venom is destroyed it takes every special summoned monster with it he must remember that, could he have a plan to get past that, well I still have an ace up my sleeve." Yuri ponders to himself.
"I'll end this duel now! Chimeratech Fortress Dragon! Evolution Result Artillery!" Hell Kaiser screams as the many heads of Fortress Dragon blast beams towards Starving Venom.
"Not so fast!" Yuri yells. "I play flash Fusion this quick play spell allows me to conduct a Fusion summon even on my enemies turn!" Yuri says throwing down his spell card.
"I Fuse the Predaplant Spinodionaea in my hand and my Starving Venom fusion dragon! poisonous dragon with hungry fangs! Sweet smelling flower that invites the abyss! Now become one, and indulge in whatever pleases you! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 10! Greedy Venom Fusion Dragon!" Yuri chanted while summoning the evolved form of his ace it resembled Starving Venom but larger and with white scales on its going from its neck to its tail, its wing emanated a powerful pink energy.

"When Greedy Venom is destroyed all special summoned monsters on your field are destroyed." Yuri explains recovering from the shock.
Hell Kaiser grits his teeth looking to his monsters who are ripped down to the graveyard by Greedy Venom's vines.
"I banish the Dragostapelia in my grave to resurrect my Greedy Venom fusion Dragon." Yuri says then Greedy Venom rises from the abyss.

"You'd be correct but Greedy Venom was already destroyed and summoned itself back through its own effect so it isn't considered to be summoned by Flash Fusion." Yuri explains smugly.
"Get on with your turn!" Hell Kaiser says through gritted teeth.
"I draw, Greedy Venom Fusion Dragon attack Hell Kaiser directly!" Yuri says gleefully as his evolved dragon flies up and descends down on Hell Kaiser.
I activate my trap card Return from the different dimension this card allows me to summon as many banished monsters as I have monster zones return my Monsters!" Hell Kaiser cries as all three of his base level Cyber dragons as well as Cyber dragon Zwei and Proto-Cyber Dragon.

Steel serpents born from the future combine and bring forth a being of unmatched power! FUSION SUMMON! Level 10 Cyber End Dragon!" Hell Kaiser chants as his three Cyber dragon merge and from a ginormous three headed dragon made of white steel and had a blue core and a wide wing span.

"Fool once per turn Greedy Venom can negate the effect of your monster and reduce its attack points to zero." Yuri yells back in defiance.
"Trap activate Cybernetic Overflow I banish the Proto-Cyber Dragon on my field to destroy your Greedy Venom Fusion Dragon. Now finish him Cyber End Dragon!" Hell Kaiser commands.
Yuri smirks. "I play Predaplant reborn, return to the field my trusty hunting partner Starving Venom Fusion Dragon!" Yuri happily shouts.

"AAAAAH!!!" Hell Kaiser screams as enough electricity to kill a man shocks from the rings into his own body. But Hell Kaiser was no normal man. "Get on with your turn." Hell Kaiser says clutching his chest having a smile of enjoyment on his face.
"Now that it's my turn Starving Venom's attack points return to normal." Yuri says smugly. "I draw, I play Allure of Darkness, this card allows me to draw two cards then I must discard a dark monster from my hand." Yuri says then smirking. "I discarded Predaplant Cordyceps if this card is in my grave I can banish it to summon two level four our lower monsters from my graveyard, rejoin the hunt Predaplants Moray Nepenthes and Flytrap

"When Flytrap battles a monster with a lower level than its own it instantly destroys that monster." Yuri declares as the small plant charges and destroys Cyber End Dragon.
"Well did my dueling satisfy you, Hell Kaiser." Yuri said giving Hell Kaiser a smug smirk that portrayed how proud of himself that he was.
"Heh when did the Apex Predator start looking for approval." Hell Kaiser says smiling back at Yuri.
Yuri's smile drops. "Starving Venom end this duel!" Yuri tells as his dragon flies up and spreads its wings and descends down upon Hell Kaiser.

"Grth!" Hell Kaiser grunts as his life points hit zero.
"This is insane folks your champion the Hell Kaiser has been defeated!" The Shady man announced as the crowd loudly screamed.
Yuri's eyes drifted to Hell Kaiser who was struggling to stand after the final attack. Yuri is about to move to leave the arena but after his first step his vision blurs and he nearly face plants.
"Huff Puff, Now this is a new feeling." Yuri says to himself placing his hands on his slightly buckled knees to prevent himself from falling all the while wearing a satisfied smile.
Heartland Ruins:
Both Kaio and Rikuo Fuma were still injured and struggling to walk through the destroyed streets.
"That damn punk I'll tear him in half!" Rikuo says through gritted teeth.
"Chill bro, that kid he'll crush us let's just get outta here." Kaio says sheepishly trying to calm down his brother.
"Now what happened to the two of you." Said a boy he wore a black jacket had spiked blond hair and green bangs he spoke casually but with authority no clear emotion evident from his tone.
"None of your business Pipsqueak!" Rikuo says angrily until he realized who he was speaking with.
"Wanna rephrase that." The blond boy said his announce obvious.
"Kaito Tenjo we didn't mean anything by it but..." Kaio spitted out not wanting to anger the boy.
"Quite your groveling, and explain what happened." Kaito demanded.
And done I hope you all enjoyed the proper start of the story. This chapter includes some new Legacy Characters originally I didn't intend on including the Fuma brothers but they turned out to be the perfect fodder to get the story moving and yeah they did use modified versions of there number monsters think of this the same as Scarlight Red dragon Archfiend just a card that resembles there most iconic Ace lore be damned. And of course the character that gave this chapters its name. The Hell Kaiser duel was one of the first ideas I had for this story I thought the way a duelist who's seeking satisfaction would interact with Yuri would be very interesting and what ever impact Hell Kaiser had on Yuri will be felt throughout the rest of the story. What could happen now that the defeated Fuma brothers have the potential to tell the people who hate him most where Yuri is. Find out next time.
