USJ Aftermath To Be A Hero

Police sirens blared outside of USJ. The police department sent squads of cars, and prison buses to escort each of the villains to a holding cell. Each of the villains had been released from the runes since the proper authorities were able to apprehend them, per Levy's instructions.

"Sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen." A tall man with a tan overcoat with a matching fedora spoke. This black-haired man's name and occupation was Detective Naomasa Tsukauchi. He was the first to arrive on the scene and inspect it.

He moved on to accounting for the students, "Everyone seems to be relatively unharmed except for that unconscious blonde girl." He began sorting over his notes of the situation.

Now that that was settled and they had the time, many of the other students crowded Levy.

"How did you do that?!" Sero asked the short girl.

"Is your Quirk really so strong?" Shoji followed.

"We want answers!" Mineta pointed accusingly at the girl, "Only a pro could do something like that!"

Levy laughed nervously at all the attention, she couldn't explain that it was just a Unison Raid. That would reveal far too much, she didn't even know if Quirks could combine the same way magic could. 'Oh man… How am I going to get out of this?'

"I must admit, even I was impressed by a creation of that caliber." Yaoyorzu mentioned. She had grown even more intrigued with the shoter girl's Quirk and her capabilities.

"Me? What about-" Levy scanned the crowd of students, "Ojiro! He landed by himself and fought off villains single-handedly!"

"Don't you mean, single-tailedly?" Mina chimed in.

"I didn't know I was the only one on my own." Ojiro had been sent to the Conflagration Zone, where the urban area was engulfed in flames to simulate what to do in case of fire hazards. "I survived using hit-and-run tactics." He admitted.

"To be honest, I'm curious about what the rest of you are talking about." Having been in an enclosed space he couldn't see or feel the attack, he had heard screams, but he couldn't make heads or tails of it.

Since the area was enclosed, the villains inside also hadn't been affected by the spell. So Ojiro really was on his own, taking out unsuspecting enemies left and right, until Pro Hero Power Driver showed up and resolved the situation.

"I concur." Tokoyami spoke, having been in a similar situation, with opposite environmental conditions. He and Koda were in the Downpour Zone, where it was constantly raining. The area of course had to be enclosed to replicate rain.

"You guys really didn't see?!" Mina gaped. "There were giant words in the sky!" She waved her arms to emphasize her point.

"Yeah, it was pretty hard to miss." Sero added.

Tokoyami crossed his arms, "Unfortunately, the areas we were in didn't allow us to perceive our surroundings in the same manner as the rest of you." The bird-headed teen quirked his eyebrow, "Giant words in the sky?"

"It was a lot like Thirteen's Black Hole!" Uraraka said excitedly, "Except it only seemed to work on the bad guys." She added thoughtfully.

"Oh yeah, now that you mention it the rest of us didn't get swept in at all…" Midoriya reflected thoughtfully, he had had so many thoughts going through his head at the time that it never really occurred to him. "How is that possible Levy?"

All eyes were once again back on Levy… Bakugo and Todoroki had avoided looking on with the rest of the group, but their ears were both wide open. Now that they knew what the girl was capable of they could use any information they could get to get an edge on her.

"Aha…" Levy nervously laughed, "Well actually…" She rubbed the back of her head, knowing she couldn't just well up and say, 'It's magic!' Although her life would be easier if she could…

"Attention students!" A voice called from nearby. "It is I, your principal!" The small principal waved, "Hopefully your princi-PAL soon enough." He laughed.

The students sweatdropped at the pun but greeted the animal man with enthusiasm. "I apologize for the atrocious event that has taken place here at USJ."

Many of the students knew that UA couldn't have foreseen something like that, and they knew that the Staff did their best to take care of it. If they were to be truthful, there was something thrilling about seeing the Pros at work and experiencing the hero world firsthand.

Then again, there was something scary about experiencing the hero world firsthand. There were literal criminals and thugs trying to kill them, and one of their classmates and friends got hurt. Not to mention their instructors weren't in great straits either.

"I know the situation was not ideal at all." Nezu acknowledged, "At the very least all I can say is, take this experience and carry it with you." The students nodded, "The hero world is a dangerous place, and you all handled it and made it through. This will be one of many experiences you will all face in your career as heroes."

He raised his paw, "You're all well on your way to becoming fine heroes one day, but for right now keep going to school, doing your homework, eating your vegetables, and don't forget to get plenty of sleep!"

The students felt slightly more at ease after his speech, Nezu could tell that much. It was a shame that this happened, as their principal he was more inclined to care about the wellbeing of his students than most, and he really did. "Now don't forget our school motto! Go…" Nezu started motioning for the students.

"BEYOND! PLUS ULTRA!" The students excitedly finished.

"Now that that's been said, I'll need to borrow Miss McGarden." Nezu revealed, "Rest assured, she's not in any sort of trouble." The tiny principal said as Levy approached the man.

The class was disappointed that they couldn't ask about Levy's Quirk, but it was quickly replaced with chatter as they split off into groups discussing the events that had just happened.

Levy approached Principal Nezu, but at that moment Detective Tsukauchi approached the students once more. "Let's go ahead and get these students back to the main campus." The Detective said.

"They've been through a lot. We don't need to question them right away."

Levy looked at Nezu for direction, "Just as well…" The Principal said, "Miss McGarden, please stay behind so we can chat, while the rest of you students are escorted back to UA."

Tsu hopped forward, "What about Mr. Aizawa?"

Detective Tsukauchi looked at Nezu who nodded in confirmation, pulling out a recorder he played back a tape, "The bones in his arms are splintered and he's got facial fracturing." A recorded message of Rescued Squad Member A's assessment upon arrival.

"Fortunately, there doesn't seem to be any serious brain damage." The students were relieved to hear this bit of news, "But, his orbital floor has been almost completely destroyed. We have no way of knowing if his eyesight will be impaired once he's healed up."

"Well, you heard the man." Tsukauchi said after the playback stopped.

The class was all devastated by the news of their homeroom teacher's state. Each of them silently wished their teacher to pull through without any fatal injuries… but many of them saw the shape he was in.

"Um, sir, what about Thirteen?" Mina asked fearfully after hearing the news about Aizawa.

"There's no need to worry there." The Detective responded, "Despite some pretty bad lacerations to the back, Thirteen is gonna pull through, good as new."

Many of the students sighed in relief at the shred of good news given.

"And All Might is also without any serious injuries." Tsukauchi revealed, causing Midoriya, in particular, to calm down a bit more, "He's in the nurse's office right now, along with your blonde friend. Recovery Girl's power should be all the treatment they need."

The class finally felt uplifted, glad to know that the injured were going to receive proper treatment. Levy was especially glad to know Lucy was going to be fine, she didn't doubt Granny, but the reassurance was nice, still.

"Now, let's get you back to class." Detective Tsukauchi said, he then turned to a nearby policeman with a cat Quirk which gave him the appearance of an anthropomorphic cat, "Sansa. I still have some business in the nurse's office. I'll leave this to you, 'kay?"

"Yes, sir!" Sansa saluted.

'Happy, Lily, Carla….' Levy couldn't help but think of the exceed when she saw the talking cat, 'Lucy would've gotten a kick out of this… Or she would've been freaked out.'

The rest of the class proceeded to enter the bus as directed, leaving Levy alone with Nezu. "I'm sure you're wondering why I wanted to talk to you."

Levy nodded, "I can't say I'm not a little curious."

"I also bet you're surprised to see an animal such as myself talking." Nezu laughed jovially.

The girl laughed as well and shrugged, "I've seen talking cats that can grow angel wings and fly back where I'm from. So you're not too out of the ordinary."

"Ah yes, where you're from." The scarred principal finally decided to get this discussion started.

"Granny- Recovery Girl -mentioned that she would be telling you the truth." Levy and Lucy had received a message from Recovery Girl asking permission to discuss the secret, the girls trusted her without a doubt after what she'd done for them and gave her the go-ahead to tell the secret to whoever she thought necessary.

"She did in fact tell All Might and I of your…" He glanced over at Tsukauchi, although the man could be trusted and was a valuable asset, the girls' situation had Chiyo breaking numerous laws, and now he and All Might were complicit, "Circumstances…"

Nezu knew he had to be vague while talking, though Tsukauchi was respectful enough not to eavesdrop, "Your last attack, how was something like that possible?"

"It's called a Unison Raid." Levy too glanced at the Detective whow as preoccupied with his notes, lowering her voice, "It's an ability that allows two people to unite different kinds of "Quirks" to create a stronger attack."

Nezu nodded as he followed along, "Can anyone perform this technique?"

Levy tapped at her chin as she thought about it. "I've heard that priests have gone their whole lives trying to achieve it without success. It's also said that people who are closer can do it with a bit more ease than others."

The bluenette knew that Unison Raids were a complex subject, but she'd seen what they could do. After all, she herself had done one with Lisanna and Cana against Hikaru on Tenrou. And Lucy told her she had even done one with a brainwashed Juvia.

'Gray and Juvia, now those two were really able to do Unison Raids…' Levy almost laughed out loud as she thought about the pair's synergy even though Gray tries to be coy about it.

"Speaking of which…" Nezu's voice pulled Levy out of her thoughts, "The details surrounding the move will have to remain between us, though I'm sure your classmates will be curious."

"They already tried to ask questions about it." Levy admitted.

Nezu closed his eyes nodding, "The best thing to do is probably to feign ignorance. We may be overusing the amnesia story but it's the best explanation we got."

"Not everyone is going to accept that as an answer." Levy stated.

"We can also refer to Quirk Singularity." Nezu said, "It's a concept by Dr. Kyudai Garaki, stating that Quirks get more powerful with each generation." He disclosed as Levy nodded along.

"He also theorised that they would become too difficult to control though, so if any of your classmates brush up on the matters they may call you out." Nezu trailed, "We could also explain this as a Quirk Awakening that allowed you to create a word more powerful than usual."

"A Quirk Awakening?" Levy asked, "What's that?"

Nezu expected this knowing she wasn't from this world, "After the initial Quirk manifestation it is possible after intense feelings of stress, like that of a life or death situation, for the user's Quirk to evolve, resulting in a new level of strength and sometimes new aspects that weren't previously possible."

Levy filed all of this information away for later, planning to come back to it at some point in case they ever needed it again. It always amazed her how similar Magic is to Quirks, both still having their uses and their drawbacks. Honestly, a part of her was curious what an actual Quirk would be like.

"That would certainly help explain what happened in USJ." Levy agreed, "But I think you're right. Amnesia will deter them for awhile, they're all too nice to press it further, and those who aren't will be pressed into it by the nicer classmates."

"Yes, it is believable that the stress could cause a relapse in amnesia." Nezu continued, "I heard that you were flying around helping many of your classmates and Miss Heartfilia had an altercation with the main villains."

"It's imperative that we don't overuse this excuse, this may be one of the last times that you'll be able to use it." Nezu disclosed.

Levy nodded, "I couldn't agree more. I don't like lying to them, but what choice do we have…" The bluenette looks slightly downcast not liking the foundation of her new frienshipos to be based on lies.

Nezu placed a paw up, "Now now. No use dwelling on things you can't control. You and Miss Heartfilia have done a great service today, as as your principal I am very proud." Nezu smiled.

"Now let's make sure I can stay your principal Miss McGarden. I have high expectations for you and your class. Just like I do for all my students." Nezu brightly said.

Levy smiled somberly, the man had reminded her of Master Makarov with how much he seemed to care about his students.

"Tsukauchi, sir!" A police officer approached the detective, and also inadvertently caught Nezu and Levy's attention.

"Hm?" Tsukauchi turned to the officer.

"Someone thought to be involved in the attack was just apprehended in a wooded area nearby." The police officer informed.

Tsukauchi gasped at the news, "Report."

"He has no apparent injuries and seems to be complying with officer commands, for now. He hasn't said a word, though."

The Detective turned to the pair, "Principal! I'd like to investigate every inch of the school, just to be safe."

"Of course, please do!" Nezu extended his arms, "You'll have full access to the campus. We definitely need your assistance on this matter. I don't care who makes a fuss."

"You have my blessing." The principal assured.

Detective Tsukauchi nodded at the animal with a smile, "Teams. Proceed as planned." He called out, with the rest of the force following his orders.

And with that Levy was escorted back to the bus to rejoin her fellow classmates on their departure.

The commotion had slightly died down, and the students all sat in the seats that they had originally sat in on the way over to USJ. Levy felt a lot of eyes on her when she made her way back to her seat.

She suddenly found herself glad that she was sitting by Todoroki, knowing the boy wouldn't pry too much, being one of the more reserved members of their class. Jiro was distracted by her phone in front of her and Bakugo was being Bakugo.

That meant she had time before she had to answer any more questions. Closing her eyes, she knew she had to recollect all of her thoughts and information given to her and create a substantial story.

"Hey everyone!" Mina excitedly piped up, "I just had the best idea! How about we all exchange numbers for a class group chat!" The pink girl suggested.

It wasn't long before the bus was filled with enthusiastic chatter and everyone began passing around Mina's phone, each entering their numbers. Mineta had to be watched when he was handed the phone, luckily for him he was too excited to give his number to a hot girl to try anything.

Todoroki handed Levy the phone, his eyes seeming different from before to her. It almost seemed as if he was trying to study her…

Levy shrugged it off, figuring it was nothing, not catching the way Bakugo had tilted his head, side-eyeing her.

'I'll put in Lucy's number too, since she's not here…' Levy typed the numbers in and held the phone up, allowing Shoji to easily grab it. Levy pulled the book teaching her Dark Ecriture and began reading, 'If this taught me anything, we're gonna have to be a lot more prepared…'

. . .

The sky was a warm orange when the students had finally made it back to UA. In the nurse's office, Recovery Girl had treated All Might and Lucy, and the two were resting in two of the beds that she had.

Shuzenji turned away from her computer, and sighed at the two, "Well, I guess I won't scold you for overdoing it since you did save the day again. But I don't want you making a habit out of this ya'hear?"

"I can't be sure yet…" All Might's raspy voice groaned out, his torso now bandaged, "But I think I shortened my time limit again with that fight." He was in his skinny form again. "I hope I can still hold the form for an hour…"

Lucy finally awoke, sitting up in the bed. "Careful now, you ended up losing quite the amount of blood and cracked a few ribs." Recovery Girl informed.

"Nothing I haven't dealt with before, but I'm lucky to have your Quirk, granny." Lucy said, looking at the IV hooked up to her. Honestly, she wished Wendy was here to use her magic to heal her up…

Lucy looked over to the man next to her and tilted her head. "Uh, hi!" She waved.

"Lucy, how are you feeling?" Toshinori asked the girl.

Lucy looked at the man's blonde hair, the bandaged wound, his blue eyes… "All Might?!" She shrieked, eyes aghast.

"Oh, so you noticed… I have to say that was quick." He chuckled slightly.

"Yes, I am All Might." He informed Lucy, "My muscular form is just me flexing in a sense…"

"Are you okay?" Lucy asked, "That fight with Nomu was intense!"

All Might was slightly taken off guard, "I'm feeling fine… You're not surprised by my appearance?"

"Oh, that?" Lucy said, "I mean sure it's shocking, but my Guild Master could turn into a giant and he's around the same size as the principal! And one of the sweetest girls I know can turn into a literal demon. You're still you."

All Might was touched by her words. "Thank you, Lucy."

"No problem, I should be thanking you for saving us again." Lucy winked back with a thumbs-up.

"Hello, beautiful." A new voice arrived with a burst of light. "I've been checking in and out to see how you've been, luckily Chiyo said there wouldn't be any lasting damage."

All Might slightly rubbed his eyes at the man's entrance and appearance. A tall young man with a delicate face and dark orange hair. His spiky hair jutted in every direction. Decked in an elegant black suit with the jacket left unbuttoned and his loose pants being held up with a light belt. He had a red tie, azure-tinted sunglasses, and various rings adjourning his fingers.

"Loke…" Lucy said relieved to see her friend here. "Is Taurus okay?"

"Taurus is back home healing up just fine. He was happy to help you." Loke reported, "We all wanted to do a lot more, but we know that you have to maintain a cover."

Loke's face surprisingly darkened, "But if something like that happens again I can't say I won't interfere!" He clenched his fist with regulus encasing it as he held up, "As your friend, and future husband, I won't allow any harm to come to you."

"I understand your anger, Loke. I don't like seeing her hurt either." Shuzenji sighed, "Just remember that we are walking on eggshells. If anyone finds out what the girls really are, we're all going to be in hot water."

"Yes, we understand we're limited by the rules of your world…" Loke averted his eyes, "Still… If Lucy's in trouble, we'll be there." He promised, looking Lucy in her eyes.

Lucy smiled gratefully at her friend, "Thank you Loke." She grabbed her keys that were resting on the bed, "Thank you all, too." The keys twinkled with light as Lucy felt them all reassuring her in her head.

"Don't forget how much you mean to us, Lucy." Loke reminded, as he took her hand, "We all think highly of you."

Lucy squeezed his hand back, "I feel the same way."

Shuzenji and Toshinori both examined the scene fondly. 'I wonder if I would have been able to transfer a Quirk to someone from another world…' All Might considered before shaking his head, thinking better of it, 'Nah… It wouldn't be their responsibility. I'm happy with the choice I made, Young Midoriya is a dedicated bright young man. Hopefully, I deal with… everything… before my power fades.'

Just then, the door slid open, "Excuse me." Detective Tsukauchi entered the room, Recovery Girl smiled at the man's entrance, knowing full well who he was.

Lucy and Loke, however, froze slightly, realizing that Loke couldn't just up and disappear now. Luckily the two weren't questioned.

"Hi, All Might. Been a while." The Detective gave a friendly smile to the man.

All Might spat blood in surprise, "What the hell? I didn't know you were investigating."

"That's right, and sorry to cut to the chase, but we could really use any information you might have." Detective Tsukauchi said.

"Hold on. Before all that." All Might interrupted, "Tell me all the students are okay." He pleaded, "And Aizawa- er, Eraser Head, and Thirteen."

"Not counting this young lady here, the only student injuries were scrapes." Tsukauchi informed everyone in the room, "And both of the teachers are in stable condition right now. Relax." Everyone did in fact relax at the relieving news, glad everyone was going to make it through.

"That's good to hear." All Might said.

"That's for sure." Lucy agreed wholeheartedly.

"If you heroes hadn't risked your lives, the students never would have made it. You three saved that entire class of kids today." Tsukauchi held the highest respect for these heroes risking their lives.

All Might shook his head, "You're not seein' the whole picture, Tsukauchi. Those students also risked their lives. They fought as hard as us."

"I don't think there's ever been a group of first-years who experienced a real fight like this so early in their training. They not only survived, they learned what it means to be a pro. Those villains made a mistake in attacking them." All Might looked out the window, where the sun was shining brightly.

"This class is strong. They're filled with courage and drive."

The room was caught on his every word, even Loke could respect this man and he's met many people over the centuries…

"Mark my words." All Might remarked, "They'll become great heroes."

All Might gave Lucy a thumbs up, as Levy burst in through the door.

"Lu!" She cried, running to hug her blonde friend. "I knew you'd be okay, but it's a relief to see it with my own eyes."

All Might watched this exchange with a soft smile, wondering if he should let the girls in on his little secret. 'They have so much to worry about. I should keep the details of One For All to myself for now. I may tell them eventually, but as of right now, I'll let them be kids a little while longer...

Honestly, if it were up to him he wouldn't have even told Midoriya his secret, but it was necessary to allow the young man to become a hero. He doesn't regret his decision at all, if anything, he regrets that he couldn't deal with his loose ends sooner.

"May I have a sheet of paper and something to write with?" Toshinori asked Shuzenji, who handed him the requested materials. It was time to write to an old friend about his new charge. After much erasing and redrafting, he finally finished and said all that needed to be said currently.

. . .

A day after the USJ incident, Tsukauchi called a meeting at night. So now multiple faculty members sat at a small table as Tsukauchi debriefed them on the current standings to the investigation. Those gathered at UA currently consisted of Vlad King, Midnight, Snipe, skinny All Might, and Nezu, each with printed copies of the reports.

"Our investigators are trying to learn everything they can about this so-called League of Villains." Tsukauchi revealed, "We've made some progress but we can't find anything on this Shigaraki so far."

He read over the report, "We've searched our records for men in their 20s or 30s who are registered as having some sort of disintegration Quirk, but so far, we've come up empty. Same for the Warp Gate villain, Kurogiri. So they're not citizens or they're using aliases. Hard to find, either way."

Vlad King crossed his arms, "So what you're really saying is we don't know anything."

"We gotta track 'em down." Snipe interjected, "I shot their ringleader, but once he heals up he'll probably try pullin' somethin' like this again. What a pain."

"He did seem like they type." All Might muttered.

Nezu leaned forward, "Is something on your mind, All Might?"

"The attack on the USJ was too bold." All Might recounted, "No sane adult would ever attempt it. The ringleader kept monologuing about the reasons he was there. And he bragged about Nomu's many Quirks, but he never said a word about his own powers."

The blonde man continued, "When things didn't go his way, he was visibly upset. Like he was gonna throw a tantrum." All Might realized something, "Ahh, I guess bragging about Nomu's Quirks was a quick way to draw me into a fight."

"That might be true, yes, but strategically, it was foolish to reveal his Quirks up front instead of keeping them a secret." Nezu offered to the conversation with a nod from Tsukauchi.

All Might reflected on the situation, "Shigaraki made wild, immature claims, but did so with a completely straight face. And he talked about Nomu like he was some kind of a pet."

"It seemed like he'd never been told "no" before- like he thought things would go his way no matter what." All Might clarified, "He has the personality of a spoiled little brat. A man-child."

Vlad King spoke up again, "A child with incredible power, though."

"It's possible he never got the Quirk counseling students receive in elementary school." Midnight suggested, knowing there was a slight nuance to the situation and motives.

"Maybe so." Snipe said, "But it doesn't really matter now."

"There were 72 villains arrested in the aftermath of the USJ attack." The Detective flipped through his documents, "They were small-time thugs who usually lurked around back alleys."

Tsukauchi looked up, "What worries me is that this "man-child" got them all to follow his crazy plan. They viewed him as a real leader. Criminals are starting to feel more pressure now that the world is brimming with heroes. That could be why they were so quick to back such simple-minded villainy."

"Guess that makes sense." Vlad King frowned.

"There are plenty a' people out there lookin' for a cause to get behind." Snipe added.

"So, what can we do to stop them?" Midnight asked.

"Well, it is thanks to you heroes that we have time to devote ourselves to this case." Tsukauchi replied, "We'll expand our investigation and continue searching for perpetrators who planned this attack."

"A manchild, huh?" Nezu muttered reflectively, "In some ways, he shares common ground with our students. They both have so much potential. And like our students I suppose it's possible someone is guiding him, trying to nurture his malice and villainy."

All Might sighed as a couple of words stood out from Nezu's comparison. He supposed it wasn't impossible considering he's trying to guide and nurture new heroes, but if he, as a hero, was doing that then a villain could… "I don't wanna think about what that could mean."

. . .

School had been canceled following the USJ attack. Lucy and Levy couldn't have felt more grateful for a small break after the stressful attack. They were lounging in their shared room, going about getting some personal things out of the way.

Levy rearranged her bookcase, where she was already cultivating quite the collection. And Lucy was attempting to write, sighing softly as she felt a case of writer's block.

"Puuuun-pun… pun!" Plue waved his arms around.

"Thanks for the encouragement Plue, but I don't think this is gonna work." Lucy said as she erased yet another sentence from her draft.

Bzzzzt.

The girls' phones buzzed simultaneously as they received texts.

Mina: hey hey everyone!

Kaminari: new group chat lets goooo

Iida: Greetings everyone, let us all remember to keep this group chat appropriate.

Sero: come on iida lighten up a bit

Midoriya: I'm sure no one will say or do anything too bad Iida!

Midoriya: Hi everyone!

Urarka: hiiiii

Yaomomo: Hello everybody!

Mineta: hello ladies

Lucy: Hey everyone, besides Mineta…

Mineta: T-T

Levy: Hey guys!

Aoyama: Bonjour mon amis!

Kirishima: WHATS UP YOU GUYS !

Jiro: yo

Tokoyami: Greetings everyone.

Shoji: looks like the group chat is a go

Koda: hi everyone.

Tsu: are we gonna talk about how crazy yesterday was, ribbit?

Mina: omg ik! levy what was that move?!

Midoriya: I actually wanted to know more about that too!

Lucy: What move are you talking about?

Uraraka: The giant words that spelled out "black hole"

Uraraka: It was almost like Thirteen's quirk!

Sero: u rly didnt see it lucy? i thought u were next to it

Lucy: I ended up blacking out a bit if i'm being honest.

Mina: omg no way

Iida: That's horrible! I sincerely hope you're feeling better.

Lucy: Thank you, Iida, I'm feeling fine now. I think the stress of the situation got to me…

Tsu: that makes sense, ribbit. you did go through a lot that day

Kirishima: levy's move was so MANLY tho

Levy: Honestly it's all kind of a blur to me. I was flying around everywhere trying to make sure everyone was accounted for, and even then I couldn't get to some people…

Tokoyami: Do not blame yourself, we were able to handle ourselves. And from the sound of it you ended up doing quite a lot.

Kaminari: i was still out of it when i saw ur move tbh. but from what i saw it was insane! yamomo and jiro filled me in on what happened after i fried my brain

Yaomomo: Your Quirk continues to surprise us, Levy. It was no wonder you ended up as class rep.

Levy: Don't forget that we're all a team! I wasn't the only one out there fighting that day, all of us were!

Tsu: we know one thing fs, Levy has some serious power

Shoji: you didnt type ribbit that time

Mina: OMG it was ADORABLE when she did that!

Tsu: guess you can call it a quirk of mine ribbit

Sero: boooooo

Uraraka: dont boo her!

Lucy and Levy found themselves giggling as the rest of the class playfully argued. Spamming each other with "memes" and even sending audio messages proving their point on the pun debate.

They had also received concerned texts from Yui and Yanagi. After explaining the situation in a separate group text the girls were relieved to learn there was no long-lasting damage. They unfortunately learned that some of the student body may feel contempt about what happened, but it wasn't even their fault!

The girls were at least glad they were getting the hang of texting but didn't understand some of the slang being thrown into the conversation. They swapped between chats like pros at this point and used urban dictionary as a translator. They honestly loved having a network capable of connecting them with their friends in an instant; even lacrimas couldn't work this well yet!

. . .

The next day, class 1A all gathered in their seats, chattering about the events of USJ. While the experience left them all shaken, they couldn't help but mention the exposure the experience had gotten them from the news coverages.

"We're totally big deals." Kaminari leaned back in his chair, "Those news channels love us- we're basically celebrites!"

"Yeah, it's kinda crazy, right?" Kirishima replied right behind him in his own seat.

"Get over yourselves." Jiro chimed in, "The hero course that pumps out pros was attacked, and that's what they care about."

"Who knows what woulda happened to us if Levy hadn't pushed her Quirk." Sero mentioned, slightly leaning leaning forward resting his head in his arms, "You really don't remember it?" He asked the bluenette whole smiled sheepishly.

"I just remember wanting to protect everyone, after seeing what happened to Lu…" She thought back on her friend's bloody and tired form, crying over the stress the experience had gave her, "It all just happened so fast…"

"Hey!" Lucy called from her own seat, "What really matters is that we're all okay." She smiled brightly at everyone. Those who had seen her during USJ were surprised she seemed so outwardly unaffected by USJ.

"I still can't believe you fought that bird guy and that guy with all the hands. Ribbit." Tsu croaked, "I was sure your Quirk along with that bull man would've been enough."

"Where did that bull come from actually, Lucy?" Midoriya asked, remembering that he had seem to come out of nowhere.

Levy looked over at Lucy's nervous smile and giggled slightly as she waved her hands innocently trying to explain, "He must've been a villain with a change of heart, I'm honestly grateful he was there…"

Bakugo was seething in his seat as he listened to his classmates. He didn't buy what these two amnesiacs where saying, there had to be more to it. The way they fought had some tact to it that no first year newbie would have. He heard they were staying with Recovery Girl and was sure she had something to do with it, but even so they had skill that would take years to develop...

He stared forward at Levy, who was still distracted by the class' antics. 'Who would've thought there would be some extras with the nerve to show me up. They act so… so nice too?' Bakugo tsked, as he turned his attention away, 'Whatever. I'm still gonna be number 1, if they think they're gonna surpass me easily they've got another thing coming...'

"It was pretty exciting to see All Might in action though!" Mina said, "I wish it were under better circumstances, but then again we'd never get to see him in action if we weren't in danger…" She shook her head, "You win some, you lose some…"

"I bet you were excited to see All Might in action too, huh Deku?" Uraraka happily pointed out.

Midoriya blushed slightly, "Haha of course I was! Not that I wasn't excited to see the other heroes too, it was really great to see their Quirks in action like whenEraserHeadusedhisbindingstoenhancehismobility…orwatchingSnipeusehisQuirktomissvitalorgansandstop…" Misoriya had begun to mutter to himself, pulling out his journal to jot a few additional notes down.

"We gotta have a talk about that sweetie." Mina said as Midoriya shook his head out of his stupor.

Midoriya blushed, "I just really like heroes…"

"I like heroes too Midoriya!" Levy said, "Honestly, if you wouldn't mind I'd love to read your notes on them!"

Midoriya's blush deepened, 'A girl wants to read my hero notes!' He smiled nervously and Uraraka felt a lump form in her throat that she couldn't explain. "Yeah, sure! Anytime!"

"Thanks, you're such a good friend!"

And just like that Uraraka felt a little better for some reason, "I'd like to see them soon too, Deku!" She added happily, "I bet you have tons on All Might!" She giggled satisfied to see the boy's blush.

"His strength is truly a thing of wonder." Tokoyami nodded, understanding why someone would want to analyze All Might.

"Attention!" Iida announced, "Homeroom class is about to begin!" His glasses glared as he spread his arms, "Everyone stop talking and take your seats!"

"Um, we're all sitting." Kirishima said.

"Yeah, you're the only one standing." Sero replied.

"I know you wanted more responsibility Iida, but remember to take it easy." Levy told the glasses wearing boy as he took his seat.

"Dang it!" Iida said.

"Don't sweat it." Uraraka waved her hands.

"Hey Tsu." Mina leaned back to speak with the frog girl behind her, "So… Who do ya think's gonna teach class today?"

Tsu stopped the girl from falling over from leaning too far, "No idea. Mr. Aizawa's still in the hospital recovering from his injuriess."

The door scraped, gathering everyone's attention.

"Morning, class." Aizawa's voice was silently muffled by the bandages covering his mouth. Not only did he hace badanges on his mouth, but also the rest of his face, and his arms. Honestly any previously exposed skin seemed to be bandaged and his arms were both in slings, having been forcefully broken by Nomu.

"Mr. Aizawa what are you doing here?" The students exclaimed in shock at the man's sudden arrival so close to after a battle. The man had taken the brunt of Nomu's attacks, yet he stood before them, ready to teach.

"Whoa! What a pro." Kaminari gasped in awe and fear.

Aizawa trudged forward to his place in front of the class. Iida raised his arm, "Mr. Aizawa. I'm glad you're okay."

"You call that okay?" Uraraka trembled.

"Shouldn't you be resting?" Lucy asked, concerned for the man's health. It honestly reminded her of when Natsu insisted to take part in the Fantasia parade, while he was still injured. "Thank you for keeping me safe by the way."

"My well being is irrelevant." Aizawa merely said, but nodded to the girl nonetheless before continuing on speaking to the class, "What's more important is that your fight isn't over yet."

"Our fight?" Bakugo questioned.

"Don't tell me…" Midoriya trailed.

"Not more bad guys!" Mineta clenched his head in fear.

Lucy raised her eyebrows at that last one, wondering what he was expecting from a hero course.

Aizawa raised his head, his bandages shifting to reveal his eyes, "The UA Sports Festival is about to start." The teacher revealed, garnering varying reactions.

"Yes!" Kirishima cheered, slamming his fists on the desk. "Let's go kick some ass!"

Kaminari put a hand on Kirishima's face, halting him from talking further, "Wait a second."

"Is it really such a good idea to hold the Sports Festival so soon after villains snuck inside?" Jiro asked.

"They could attack once we're all in the same place." Ojiro added, also wondering why they'd keep it scheduled.

Aizawa sighed, "Apparently, the administration thinks this is a good way to show the threat has been handled and our school is safer than ever."

"I see, so they're trying to save face and show that we weren't even troubled at all with the situation." Yaoyorozu surmised.

Levy nodded, "I'm not agreeing with their methods, but we should prove that we weren't affected by it and do our best." She confidently said.

"They're also beefing up security compared to past years." Aizawa added, "This event is a huge opportunity for all students at UA. It's not something we can cancel because of a few villains."

"Uh, I'm sorry, but why not?" Mineta asked, "It's just a Sports Fesitval!"

Midoriya turned to the purple boy sitting behind him, "Huh? Mineta, don't you know how important this competition is?"

"Of course I do!" Mineta said, "I just don't wanna get murdered."

"If you're afraid of the chance of murder, you're in the wrong profession." Aizawa said, "If you don't do well, there is a chance any of you may be kicked from this class." Aizawa revealed to the shock of the students.

"What, no way…" Lucy gasped, "It's that easy?"

"Just like heroes have ranks that get replaced all the time, if a student from another course does well enough they may be considered for the Hero course." The mummified teacher said, "Normally I would refrain from sharing this information, but I feel as though it'll act as extra motivation for you to be well prepared."

"Our Sports Festival is one of the most watched events in the entire world." Aizawa informed, "In the past, everyone obsessed over the Olympic games. But then Quirks stared appearing. Now, the Olympics have been drastically reduced in terms of scale and viewership."

"For anyone who cares about competition, there's only one tournament that matters. The UA Sports Festival."

"That's right!" Yaomomo said, "And top heroes everywhere will be watching." She clenched her fist, "This is where you get scouted."

"Sure, unless you're dead." Mineta commented.

"She's right!" Kaminari said, "After graduating, a lot of people join pro agencies as a sidekick." He gave a thumbs up to Jiro who didn't even turn to him.

"Yeah, but that's as far as some people go." She replied, "They miss their chance to go indie and stay eternal sidekicks."

She finally turned to him, "Actually, that's probably where you're headed. You're kinda dumb."

Kaminari's demeanor crumbled at the girl's blunt words. Levy shook her head, "Play nice, Jiro. I already have my hands full with some other people." She slyly looked at Bakugo who resisted the urge to tell her off.

"It's true that joining a famous hero agency can garner greater experience and popularity." Aizawa took control of the class again, "That's why the festival matters. If you wanna go pro one day, then this event could open a path for you."

Bakugo and Levy grinned confidently listening to the teacher.

"One chance a year."

Uraraka and Iida stared determined.

"Three chances in a lifetime."

Tsu and Kirishima eagerly leaned forward.

"No aspiring hero can afford to miss this festival."

Todoroki and Yaomomo paid apt attention.

"That means you better not slack off on your training."

Lucy remembered how important the Grand Magic Games were and her participation… She clenched her fists as she was reminded of her losses despite her efforts. She was going to make sure things were different this time…

"Yes, sir!" The class answered their teacher.

"Class is dismissed." Aizawa finished.

. . .

The bell rang, signalling everyone that it was lunchtime. Class with Cementoss had just ended and they were eager to get some food.

"That villain stuff sucked, sure, but I'm pumped for these games!" Kirishima roared from the back of the class.

Sero walked up to him, "We put on a good show and we're basically on the road to bein' pros!"

"Don't forget that Mr. Aizawa said we could be kicked out of the class if we slack off too much." Levy reminded, "I'm sure we'll all do well, but we got to really work for it!"

"We get so few chances to show off." Tokoyami was comfortably perched upon a bookshelf in the back of the class, "We have to make the most of this."

"I just hope I'm noticed!" Mina squealed, "I mean I'm hard to miss, but I really want to show off what I got!"

Aoyama posed dramatically, the atmosphere around him similar to sparkling flowers, "My, what's a boy to do? I stand out even when I'm standing still." He lamented, striking poses such as: placing his arms behind his head and thrusting, a Charlie's angels gun pose, he placed his head on his hands, even dramatically placed a hand to his face, and many more…

"That means, the scouts won't be able to take their eyes off me!" He twirled and pointed to Koda, who flinched at the sudden attention. Aoyama leaned closely towards the shy boy, "Don't you agree?" He twinkled.

Koda nodded in response, wishing the conversation would end soon.

Kaminari sighed loudly, "You're so lucky, Shoji. People are bound to notice your unique Quirk."

"Sure, but what matters is that I show them how useful I can be." Shoji replied clenching his fist.

"No doubt you'll make a scene, too." Jiro teased Kaminari referring to when he short circuits his brain using his Quirk.

"This is gonna be nuts! Everyone's so excited." Midoriya noted as he listened to his ecstatic peers.

"Well, yeah, of course we are!" Iida said beside him, "We enrolled at this school with the sole aim to become heroes. So naturally, we're all getting fired up." Iida wiggled a bit as he talked, no doubt from excitement.

Lucy smiled at his choice of wording, "I am feeling a little fired up, myself."

"You have to be excited too, right, Midoirya?" The glasses wearing boy sidled up to the freckled boy.

"Well, yeah, of course I am!" He declared, "But also nervous…"

"Deku! Iida! Lucy!" Uraraka called, gaing the trio's attention, her face glowered with intensity as she glared at them, "Let's do our best in the Sports Festival."

"Uraraka, what happened to your face?" Midoriya whimpered, surprised.

"Seriously, what's up?" Mina popped her head up, "You're normally, like, the most laid back girl ever."

"PMS?" Mineta suggested, causing Tsu to swat at him with her tongue and Lucy to slap the back of his head.

"Remember what Mr. Aizawa said to you." Lucy muttered, unimpressed with his antics.

Ochaco grunted as she took a victorious pose, fist poised in the air, "Everyone! I'm gonna do my best!" Her hair shadowed her eyes, but they could still feel the determination of them.

"Yeah!" Iida, Midoriya, Tsu, Lucy, and Mina all repeated, albeit somewhat caught off guard.

Uraraka turned to Levy, Sero, Kirishima, and Tokoyami, "I said, I'm gonna do my BEST!"

This time the group raised their arms in confused support, but were wondering where this sudden attitude same from.

"Once more for my people in the BACK! I said I'm gonna DO MY BEST!" She announced one final time, everyone shrugged and went with it, declaring similar sentiments.

. . .

In Lunch Rush's Eatery, aka the Cafeteria the student body once again enjoyed the food the Pro Hero provided them, each taking advantage of the delicacies catered to them.

"Hey, Uraraka…" Deku started.

"What's up?"

"Why did you decide to come to UA?" Midoriya asked her, not expecting this question iida, Lucy, Levy and Uraraka turned to the boy, "What made you wanna be a pro hero?"

"Well… Because…" Uraraka thought about how she wanted to phrase this, "Money." She said honestly.

"Like for rent? Girl, I feel you." Lucy shook her head "Living is expensive."

"Uh- for the money?" Midoriya clarified, "You wanna be a hero so you can get rich?"

Uraraka rubbed her head sheepishly, "If we're cutting to the chase, then, yeah. I'm sorry if it sounds greedy." She waved frantcically, "You all have such admirable motivations! With Iida wanting to continue his family's legacy and Deku with wanting to save people…"

She held her face in her hands, "Even Lucy and Levy said that they wanted to help people, even without their memories… I hope you don't think less of me now."

"Not at all!" Iida said without missing a beat, "Your goal is to support your wellbeing, which is a perfectly admirable ambition to have." He swung his arms to punctuate his sentence.

"Mm-hm." Midoriya agreed, "It's just kinda surprising."

"Yeah Lu here used to take a bunch of jobs to pay her rent, even dressing up as a maid." Levy said, recalling hearing about her and Natsu's mission, "I guess she does that regularly now though…"

"Levy…" Lucy's face was tinted pink, "At least I look cute in my outfits…"

Uraraka sighed, "Well, you see, my family owns a construction company, but we haven't gotten any work lately, so we're flat broke." The brunette revealed.

Lucy remembered after waking up from Tenrou and learning about her father's bankruptcy, she remembered when she first left home and being broke. So really, she could feel for the girl and her family.

"Anyway, this isn't something I usually tell other people, but…" Uraraka continued

"Construction, eh?" Iida placed a thoughtful hand to his chin, with Midoriya mimicking his actions before gasping.

"If she got licensed, I bet she could use her Quirk to bring costs down a lot." Midoriya purposed.

"And they could sell their heavy-lifting equipment." Iida added, "She could float everything!"

"I don't think she was done talking yet…" Lucy sweatdropped.

Uraraka, though, eagerly pointed to Iida, "I know right! I've been telling Dad that since I was a kid!"

"But…" She trailed…

"When I told him, he said, as my dad, he would be way happier if I achieved my own dream..." The roundfaced girl said, "And that if I did make money, I could take them on a trip!" She giggled softly.

"I vowed to myself… No matter what…" Uraraka clenched her fists, "I'm gonna become a pro. I'll sign with a good agency and make plenty of money."

She determinedly met the group's gaze, "Then I'll be able to let my parents have an easy life!"

Lucy grabbed Uraraka's hands, "That's amazing! I would've done anything for my mom!" She beamed at the other girl, "I really hope you achieve your goal!"

"That's beautiful!" Iida applauded Uraraka."So noble! Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!"

"That's a pretty good reason to become a hero!" Levy giggled, patting the girl on the back.

'She's not here because of some hero fantasy.' Midoriya stared silently at the girl, her reasoning striking a cord, 'She's more grounded than any of us...'

He smiled softly before joining Iida's applause.

This chapter was longer than anticipated. Sorry if I took long with this update, I've been having to deal with things in my personal life, It's relieving that I can type this and feel excitement for what's to come.

The Sports Festival is literally coming up so soon, and It feels wild to know we're gonna jump into this. It's going to marginally be the same, but there's definitely many differences that are gonna be made and it will be noticeable.

I have so many writing patterns that irk me, but there's no way to skirt around them, so I'm just gonna roll with them and hope you guys are enjoying this story tbh.

So Lucy and Levy are aware of All Might's skinny form and his wavering power, but they don't know the full extent of Midoriya's inclusion or OFA's full potential. It won't be hard to put two and two together, but as of right now they're still in the dark.

Oh! And Minerva! Minerrrrrrrva….. So I have at least two other Fairy Tail character besides her to make an entrance… Although the two are people you're least likely to expect. It may look easy to transport between worlds, but trust me there are limitations and rules set that I am trying to follow.

Hmmmmmmmmmm… I think i hinted something at this chapter, but I don't think anyone will fully understand the connotations of what's happening until it actually really happens.

Ugh…. Now i have to go proofread this once…. And then post it, but stay tuned everyone! Review, follow! You know, if you want to make this writer happy. But I'm just happy you read at all honestly!
