Snippet 28- Among Us 2

Timeline- Sometime after Snippet 04.

*Cafeteria- The Skeld*

"Yum yum, pudding is the best~!" Neptune exclaimed as she sat with her sister Nepgear, both wearing bulky spacesuits. "And best of all, no impostors to worry about this time!"

"Um, Neptune, I hope you didn't trip an event flag saying that..." Nepgear noted somewhat nervously.

"Excuse me..." the two looked up to see Umio sitting atop a Crewmate suit, his flippers wrapped around two levers extending from its head. "I think your little friend from Ultradimension is having stomach problems..."

"P-ko?!" Immediately Neptune was on her feet, rushing over to little Peashy, clad in a bright yellow spacesuit. "P-ko, what's wrong?! Did you eat bad pudding...?!"

"Neptuna..." Peashy's face looked a bit green, one hand holding a Crewmate plushie. "Pea doesn't feel so good..." She suddenly dropped her plush and keeled over, holding her stomach!

"P-ko! Compa, get over here!" Neptune cried in distress, the nurse running over a moment later, IF not far behind. "You got anything for a bad stomach?!"

"I don't know, Nep Nep... let me look," Compa kneeled down beside the stricken Peashy. "Peashy, can you hear me? How does it feel?" She managed to pull the little CPU back to a kneeling position...

"Pea... Pea feels..." Peashy grunted, holding her stomach, quaking violently... then suddenly her torso ripped open, a long thin tongue emerging as she let loose with an inhuman roar!

(Music- 'Seek', Among Us)

"OH SNAP! It's an Impostor!" Neptune cried, she and Nepgear backing away in horror as the lights suddenly cut out.

"What-?!" That was all Compa got out as Peashy suddenly grabbed the nurse's head and twisted, snapping her neck, her lifeless body falling to the floor!

"COMPAAAAA!" IF cried in horror and disbelief.

"RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!" Uzume called over her megaphone. "EVERY CREWMATE FOR THEMSELVES!" Immediately everyone fled the premises as Peashy took her Crewmate plushie and set it atop her head.

"Pea's gonna eat you all up! OM NOM NOM!" the Impostor exclaimed, pulling out a knife as she gave chase to the fleeing Crewmates...

*Navigation*

"Why did this have to happen to us, chu?!" Warechu lamented, hiding behind the copilot's chair.

"Don't worry! Presto Mask will stop this monster and save us all!" B-Sha declared, standing on the pilot's chair with a dramatic pose.

"How are you gonna do that when you don't got your bazooka, chu?!"

"Uh..." B-Sha's eyes went blank upon realization.

"Found you-!" Peashy exclaimed, her long tongue instantly impaling B-Sha's head through her visor!

"I'm outta here, chu!" Warechu squeaked as he fled into the nearby vent.

"Run away, Mousey! Pea'll eat you sooner or later~!" the Impostor taunted, before going on her way...

*Communications*

"Man, if only I could punch in this bulky suit, then we wouldn't have to hide...!" Uzume lamented, huddling in the corner with Umio.

"Keep your voice down!" Umio hissed. "I think it's coming this way!" Sure enough, the Impostor's silhouette appeared at the doorway!

"Crap, we're sitting ducks here!" Uzume whispered. "What do we do...?!"

"Only one thing to do!" Umio exclaimed, suddenly leaping out to confront Peashy. "Have at you, fool!" he cried as he charged-

Only for Peashy to uppercut the fish right off his Crewmate body, pulling out a gun as he fell to the floor, blowing him to pieces with one shot!

"UMIIIIIOOOOOO!" Uzume wailed, even as she made her escape into the hallway...

*Electrical*

"Aw crud, Umio just bit it!" Neptune wailed, dancing about in panic. "What do we do, Nep Jr?!"

"Work on your tasks!" Nepgear advised. "That reduces the timer for the Impostor to find us!" As she spoke she was doing the spinning circles task, managing to align all three correctly, a happy tone sounded as a few seconds were shaved off the timer.

"What?! Why didn't you say that in the first place?" Neptune chastised as she pushed up a lever on the nearby power panel. "Okay, gotta go to Medbay to accept the diverted power..."

"Neptunaaaaa, Pea's coming for yoooouuu~!"

"SNAP! Into the vent!" Neptune cried, she and Nepgear barely managing to escape as the Impostor bore down on them! Fortunately she couldn't follow them through the vent, the duo emerging safely in Medbay. "Man, too close! My heart's goin' a million miles a minute!" Neptune gasped as she completed the task.

"Right, I need to scan here, so keep a lookout, okay?" Nepgear said, walking over to the scanner to do just that.

"(Gulp) Okay..." Neptune reluctantly walked to the hallway entrance...

*Back in the Cafeteria...*

"Ughh-! There!" Warechu grunted as he finally pulled down the lever to dispose of the trash. "Crap, I gotta go all the way to the other side now-chu?!"

"Heeeere, Mousey~!" Peashy called as she trudged into the cafeteria. "Pea's gonna gobble you aaaaall up!"

"No way, chu!" Warechu cried, running as fast as his little feet could carry him, Peashy chasing him into Admin, the rat barely sliding into the vent in time!

"Aww... he got away again. Oh well," Peashy shrugged, going off to find the other Crewmates.

"Heh... sucker," Warechu popped back out, quickly scurrying down the hallway and through storage, hitting the lever to eject the trash... "Phew, timer's almost up. I win~!"

"Nope, you lose!" Peashy disagreed, as she stabbed Warechu in the back with a dagger.

*Upper Engine*

"Okay, not much time left, so we'll just hide up in the corner here, and we win! Easy as pudding!" Neptune exclaimed as she and Nepgear huddled nearby the engine, the former grinning in anticipation as the final seconds ticked down...

But suddenly an alarm blared, the lighting turning red as the timer refilled! "What the nep?! What's going on?"

"It's the Final Hide!" Nepgear explained, "We can't do tasks anymore, and now the imposter can track us!"

"What?! You mean the difficulty just ramped up to crazy hard mode?! No nepping fair!" Neptune wailed in dismay.

"It's okay, once this last timer goes down, we win! ...If we survive." Just then a red circle illuminated the duo... "Oh goodness! Peashy'll come this way any minute now!"

"Okay, time to split up! You go to Medbay, I'll head for the Reactor!" Neptune asserted.

"Okay... g-good luck," Nepgear said as she reluctantly separated from her sister, running down the right hallway, while Neptune went south.

"Kay, it's pretty big in here, so I'll just tuck myself away right here," Neptune grunted, hiding at the southwest corner. (Hopefully P-ko just peeks in here if she comes by...) She held her breath as the Impostor's silhouette became visible in the doorway... but then a red light illuminated her position!

"Found you, Neptuna~!"

"NOOOOO-" the CPU was cut off as her head was impaled by Peashy's tongue, leaving nothing but a single bone sticking out the lower half of her corpse!

"I win!" Peashy exclaimed happily. "Now where's Gear at?" She went up, passing the upper engine and Medbay, emerging back into the Cafeteria, where a figure bumped into her! "Oh hi, Iffy!"

"Oh shi-" was all IF got out before Peashy snapped her neck, her body falling next to Compa's.

"Geeeeaar! Where are yoooooouu?" Peashy called as she ran around in circles... but then a red circle flashed to the east! "There you are!" She ran past Weapons and O2, starting to hear tones in her head... then she walked into navigation, and sure enough there was Nepgear! "Found you!"

"Oh no! I don't have any vents left!" Nepgear gasped as she retreated to the pilot's chair, for all the good it would do...

But before the Impostor could feast, the red lights went out, the creature wailing in agony before suddenly melting into primordial ooze...

*Planeptune Basilicom*

"NOOO! Pea lost!" Peashy wailed as her console showed the word 'Defeat'.

"Wow, talk about saved by the bell, Nep Jr!" Neptune sighed, her and her sister's consoles showing 'Victory'.

"Even if Peasy had killed Gearsy, she still woulda lost since she didn't get me," Uzume pointed out.

"Where were you, Uzume?" Nepgear inquired curiously.

"Uh, at the bottom left... Electrical, I think?"

"Aww, Pea shoulda went down instead of up!" Peashy sighed unhappily.

"Well hey, at least you had fun playing the monster, right?" Neptune pointed out to try and cheer her up.

"Yeah, that was tons of fun!" Peashy raised her arms in joy. "Sorry for eating you, Iffy, Compa!"

"Why did I have to be the first death..." Compa sighed. "It was no fun floating around as a ghost..."

"Yeah, and no one told me there was a second timer-chu!" Warechu moaned.

"Well, it was fun, despite the horror factor," Umio spoke up. "Is anyone up for another game?"

"Yeah, but let's do a different map this time!" B-Sha insisted. "Like the Airship!"

"Uh, nope, that's out, Airship's too big for P-ko to handle," Neptune denied her. "Let's do... this map instead! Everyone ready?" There was a general chorus of agreement in response.

*Mira HQ*

"Bleh..." Neptune grunted as the candy bar dropped out of the vending machine. "Not pudding, but I guess it'll do..." She then saw Nepgear approaching out of the corner of her eye. "Oh hey, Nep Jr! Come to get a snack?"

"I was going to, but..." Nepgear looked uncomfortable, one hand over her stomach. "I think I'm sick..."

"Sick? Sick with what?" Neptune inquired in concern.

"Sick with... BAD END SYNDROME!" Nepgear roared as a mouth ripped open from her torso, pulling out a familiar blade!

"Oh neppit! Not the cursed sword Geha-" That was as far as she got before being run through, her whole being absorbing into the sword!

"GEHABURN... NEEDS MORE SOULS!" Impostor Nepgear exclaimed, running back up the hallway, Peashy running away as fast as she could...
