Snippet 53- Not Another Demon Lord!
"Erm... aren't you lot supposed to be cowering in FEAR?!" exclaimed the Demon Lord who had once been Steel Feline.
"Listen, buddy," Yellow Tiger stepped forward, "you're not the first demon lord we've had to deal with, got it?!"
"Yeah, we've had to take down no less than THREE demons of your level of power, long before you arrived on the scene!" Blue Falcon piled on.
"Three?! What the (bleep)?" the horned man recoiled slightly. "I thought you just had to deal with a Deity of Sin, an insane goddess from another dimension and an old goddess of Planeptune!"
"This man's done his homework," Black Raven realized, mildly impressed. "Anyway, that was several games ago! We're speaking about recent history, here!"
"And here comes my headache, again..." White Gorilla sighed as she lowered her hand from her helmet.
"The point still stands; we've dealt with your kind before! And at least the previous demon lords had competent minions!" Red Grizzly taunted.
"Hey, it was my bloody partner that wanted all those Cinnamorolls! I just decided to make do with what I had!" the Demon Lord protested.
"Sure, blame your mystery partner," Nisa snarked. "Even Captain Gordon, Defender of Earth! could deal easily with the likes of you!"
"Captain Gordon...?! You dare to think so little of me, Infernal Beelzebub Anarchia Cruul de Apokalypsi, the Opposite of Divine, Prince of-"
"Blah blah blah!" Chika cut him off. "It's a waste of space to try to remember all that! We'll just call you 'Bubi' instead!"
"B-Bubi...?!" The horned man doubled over as if socked in the stomach. "Bloody (bleep)ing hell, I can't escape that nickname, even he-" he was interrupted as Peashy suddenly slammed into him with a full-body tackle, knocking him back into the pile of crates!
"Good work, taking advantage of his distraction!" Adrian nodded approvingly. But then he, Peach and the others were blown back as the crate pile was blown apart by a pillar of flames!
"That (bleep)ing does it!" Bubi screamed in rage, his eyes glowing an angry red. "You (bleep)ers are dead, you hear me?! Heat of the Bowels of Hell!" he intoned, the temperature in the area suddenly becoming very uncomfortably hot!
"Agh, I'm burning up!" A-Mac cried in agony.
"It's like I'm baking alive in my armor!" Chika screeched.
"D-dammit...!" Nisa grunted as she reached for her Prinny Gun, being slightly more tolerant of the heat due to her experience in the netherworld. "T-take this!" she cried as she opened fire, only for Bubi to easily flash-step aside, appearing before Nisa and kicking the weapon out of her hand!
"It this all it took to put you down?" the Demon Lord laughed. "I should've bloody done this from the outset-!" His head jerked up as he perceived an attack from the sky, jumping and barely avoiding the brunt of an Inbetween Spear assault! But then a Sylhet Spear nailed him in midair, making him slam into the pavement and skid a short distance!
"I think not, Demon Lord!" Vert exclaimed from the sky in her HDD form. "Good thing Peach had the foresight to call me in when you revealed your true nature!"
"Oh man, thanks, Lady Vert!" Yellow Tiger sighed as the temperature returned to normal. "I thought I was gonna heatstroke for sure...!"
"As did I!" Black Raven grunted as she and the other Rangers slowly righted themselves.
"You g-dd-mn bloody slut!" Bubi hissed as he stood back up. "Hellfire!" he cried, Green Heart being engulfed in a pillar of fire, before dodging the retaliatory Sylhet Spear from Chika! But then the CPU flew out of said fire, only looking slightly singed! "What?!"
"Your fire has little effect due to my high Mentality stat!" Vert asserted as she went for an overhead slash, Bubi barely catching the spear in his hands, the point only millimeters away from his face! He managed to flash-step away, materializing a burning sword in his right hand and managing to deflect the goddess' follow-up strike! But then Adrian leapt in with his energy blade, clashing with his foe's sword a few times-
-But then Bubi flash-stepped away again as A-Mac tried to go for a sneak attack! "Saw that coming ten kilometers away, loser!" the demon taunted. But then he was forced to block a combined Rainy Ratnapura attack from Vert and Chika together. "That, on the other hand..." He vanished again, but this time he was nailed by explosive rounds from Nisa's Prinny Gun! "Bugger...!" Adrian then engaged in another blade duel with the Demon Lord, soon managing to catch his opponent's sword between the prongs of his energy sword, turning and slicing downward, resulting in Bubi's sword getting chopped in half! "F***!"
"Spiral Break!" Black Raven intoned as 'Drive Away' began playing, Bubi getting slashed several times, then getting subjected to a rapid-fire stabbing, before being slashed one final time, sending him flying backwards. "And now, the final blow!" Chika declared as the hurled her spear with all her might- only for Bubi to flash-step away at the last moment. "Curses! I missed!"
"I won't! Carnage Combination!" White Gorilla cried as she subjected the Demon Lord to several punches and kicks, before uppercutting him into the air! She then leapt, coming down with her leg outstretched nailing Bubi and sending into the burning ammo storehouse, resulting in an explosion! "Gotcha!"
"Way to cover for your teammate, White Gorilla!" Red Grizzly nodded. "And to think you two were once at each other's throats all the time..."
"Uh, guys?" Yellow Tiger pointed, the group turning to see Bubi stumbling out of the inferno, one hand to his chest, his upper body now completely bare.
"Bloody... hell..." the Demon Lord grunted in clear pain. "It's not... over yet...!"
"Kinestra Slash!" Green Heart suddenly appeared behind Bubi, who cried out in agony as blood flew from several cuts on his body, the demon collapsing face-first to the pavement soon after. "I believe it is over now."

"Hahahaha! Nicely done, Lady Vert!" Sergei praised with some light applause. "And you too, comrades! Way to show that demon what for, eh?"
"You know it, Sergei!" Peashy crossed her arms in triumph.
"Yeah, and it only took seven chap- uh, I mean, a few days this time!" Nisa caught herself. "Sorry, Peach..."
"I'll let it slide this once," Peach shook her head. "So what are we gonna do with this guy?"
"...I hate to be the one to suggest it, but shouldn't we just, y'know, finish him?" A-Mac suggested. "Last time when Lady Vert let that evil cat demon live, it almost led to Lastation getting leveled by nukes, or so I heard..."
"Hey, I was recruited to keep an eye on her in Ho-Hum!" Adrian argued. "Even Lilithmon didn't anticipate her creation going genocidal like that!"
Suddenly, high-pitched laughter echoed throughout the area, putting everyone on guard! "Bueno, es por eso que mantengo a mi subordinado con una correa apretada, fuckers!"
"Who is that?!" Sergei grunted as he and the NPC soldiers looked around.
"It's gotta be Bubi's partner!" Nisa realized.
"Sounds like Spanish!" Peach realized.
"A Puerto Rican accent! Oh, of course!" Green Heart gasped. "Now I realize! The Spanish, the Welsh demon, the high-pitched voice! The reason Bubi called himself 'Steel Feline' was to try and prove himself superior to-"
"That's right, motherfuckers!" the voice cut her off. "Cower in fear, for it is I, SATANAS!" There were several lightning strikes nearby Bubi, before a pillar of fire spiraled into existence, soon dissipating to reveal a small figure on a demonic-looking throne. She was about 4'10" in height, with pale skin, purple eyes, and pink hair atop her head with a purple streak slightly to the right tied into high twin-tails, two small white horns poking up from said hair. She wore a pink off the shoulder shirt with detached sleeves and a cat's bell around her neck, with a purple skirt, non-matching pink and purple stockings with brown leather shoes. A tail with a pink heart-shape poked out from under her skirt, twitching mischievously.
"But you Rangers can call me... Ironmouse."
