Aleister closed his eyes and focused, Shunpo seemed a relatively simple Shinigami art, just go fast. But it was so much more then that, in a way it reminded him of Okita's own mastery of movement, the Assassin in a way had achieved her own form of Shunpo and he was regretting not asking her for help.
"How did she describe it? A combination of walking technique, defensive body movements, breathing, and blind spots?". The supervillain thought aloud, Reduced Earth and Shunpo at their core both held the concepts of going fast, so hopefully some knowledge from the other would help him master one. He calmed his breathing, trying to get his body in the perfect position.
Once he felt ready, Aleister rushed across the room. He was certainly a bit faster, but nowhere near the Shunpo level speeds he wanted.
'Lets try adding a bit of Reiryoku'. He began to channel his spiritual energy throughout his body, and tried performing the technique again-
"Gah!". Aleister grunted as he found himself slamming into a wall, quickly stepping back and rubbing his nose. "Next time, lets not forget where I'm going".
The master practiced a bit more, he was certainly going fast but he could only go straight forward and even then compared to the speed he'd seen some Capes or Okita travel at, he was disastrously slow.
'Practice makes perfect, I've at least got a starting point'.
Skill learned.
- Shunpo 5%. (A Shinigami movement technique, right now its slow (For what its meant to be, still way faster then an ordinary human) and can only go forward).
Okay sooo, couldn't really think of anything for creating more Photonic Crystals and improving Digiworld, but I will say Photonic Crystals you guys got SUPER Lucky with a Critical Action and produced ten Photonic Crystals.
Digiworld improved.
Island 4 - A small island, transformed into a mining quarry that produces Chrome Digizoid
- Produces ordinary Chrome Digizoid, which boasts a good balance of everything with no special abilities.
- Produces Blue Digizoid, which enhances the speed of whatever its made into.
Items gained.
- Marble of Photonic Crystals (13). A marble sized Photonic Crystal, with superior computing power to anything in the world.
Aleister was shocked at just how successful the recruitment booth had went, at least 40% of Brockton Bay had volunteered!... Of course, then he had to figure out which of them were actually trustworthy.
Many were just hoping to regain some control of their lives, with some hypnotized into admitting they liked the feeling of power over others, some had... Less then pure purposes. One had even been a former serial killer who'd been forced to stop his ways after Faust's takeover and had been hoping to use this as a chance to restart, which of course had led to a quick execution after presenting proof of his crimes to the public.
But a few of them were just the type he was looking for, those who had long wanted change in the bay and would take even criminal paths to bring it. There had even been an old man who looked like he had one foot in the grave who was an ex World War Two Soldier who had lost his hand and wanted to 'finish off those nazi scumbags'. Aleister always needed soldiers willing to get their hands dirty to truly rid the city of undesirable elements and old age or missing limbs were easily fixable. The old man's name was Joseph.
Another recruit of interest had a recently Triggered parahuman, her powers weren't anything special, just releasing fire from left hand and absorbing it with her right. She wanted to find her sister, who had disappeared three months ago and while she was likely dead, the girl still wanted to at least give her sibling a proper burial. Her name was Maia.
Finally was something he didn't expect, a former member of the ABB who had been lucky enough to not been caught in his attack on them, a part of Faust approved her bravery in approaching him after he'd destroyed the gang she'd been apart of, but further interest proved interesting results. The woman was a miko, one who'd apparently owned a small shrine that was now in bad times without the ABB giving funds. Her name was Sakura.
Aleister was honestly shocked there was even any shrines in Brockton Bay, but at the same time he could have use for a properly trained shrine maiden. Especially one who'd likely fall easily into his influence even further if he revealed some actual divine seeming powers.
With those three targets of interest marked down as A-Team, Aleister stood up and prepared to leave, he had other work to do.
We've got a decent amount of ordinary soldiers now, along with some public stuff. But we only got three interesting targets, who I decided to mark down as A-Team for the first team of recruited soldiers for experiments and Artificial Parahumans however you decide to do that.
After a few hours working on the next update of Fate/Grand Order and Grand Arena, Aleister had been hoping to have a relaxing video game tournament... And it had worked to some degree.
Medea, Gorgon, Lakshmibai, Ellen, FB, Nibelcole, and Meltryllis had rejected joining, none of them having much interest in video games. Okita had tried them but not found much enjoyment, while Tomoe had gotten a bit to into them... The rest of the Demi-Servants were playing, but had argued over who got to play first until Aleister had interfered himself.
Keramon and DemiMeramon were just snacking on some food he had ordered, not really interested in video games today.
As for how the tournament had actually went...
"Victory is sweet!". Tomoe Gozen cheered as she defeated her latest opponent, Nia on the ground staring at the ceiling, the Artoria Alter she'd been control having fallen to Tomoe's Sasaki Kojiru. The Assassin was the hardest to use in the game, but in return if you could use him properly he was near unbeatable unless you were a Gilgamesh or Emiya spammer. "Who's next!".
"Niiaaa! I'll avenge you!". Lumine grabbed the controller, selecting Heracles without hesitation. "Lets see that puny sword beat a demigod!".
"Challenge accepted!".
Aleister leaned back into his chair, watching a much calmer match with Naomi and Iris on a second TV. The two Demi-Servants were quiet and focused, with Naomi having chosen Hassan of Serenity and Iris using Atalanta, the match was close but ended in Naomi's victory.
"Ooohh, look at that master! Looks like Naomi unlocked a cut scene for a new Servant". Kurumi grinned as a new cut scene started, inspired by Super Smash Bros you could unlock fighters by ether randomly getting them after fighting in casual mode or by playing the story mode.
"Hm? And its Artoria Lancer Alter, that will be a tough one".
The rest of the evening went along those lines, it wasn't as grand as Aleister had hoped but he felt there had been some improvements all around.
Bond up/formed.
Tomoe Gozen: 2.
Iris Dawn: 5.
Lumine Grace: 3.
Kurumi River: 2.
Nia Honjou: 2.
Naomi Tanaka: 1.
As he observed the pods holding dozens of human-looking figures, Aleister wondered if he had went to far playing God? Rewriting personalities, bending the laws of magic and science, and now creating life? He really was playing God and he likely wasn't going to stop anytime soon.
The Moon Rabbits, or as he'd officially call them Lunarians, where a species of his and Nia's creation. They looked human with the exception of rabbit ears and tail, with some having fur and some without it. But what really made them special was each and every one had Magic Circuits, a longer lifespan, faster reproduction, and were perfectly suited to live on the moon. They were also genetically modified to be relaxed and find nothing wrong with being used as tools by their creators (AKA him and Nia), seeing it as natural.
They would be a species who thrived off competition, gaining great satisfaction when winning and a desire to try again when losing. They would be a perfectly loyal species which he could use to build his own army.
They would be made in pods, many of them being near clones of each other with only slight differences in DNA, and while in their growth pods would be implemented with basic knowledge. They'd live in the Moon Capital, a city created by the Machine Rabbit, with temples built towards their gods. The Moon Capital would be a paradise for the Lunarian's, with their every need met, but they'd also be encouraged to build and improve things themselves, with combat arena's, game areas, all sorts of places for competition.
They would be taught a founding myth by Nibelcole, how humans lived on Earth but it was corrupted by impurities by other living beings such as Yokai, Vampires, and Fairies. The gods of the Earth and the Moon, the goddess Shinki and the god Yasomagatsuhi, decided to impose a divine punishment that caused the end of the world as it was known. Shinki took the form of a disease or curse that plagued the living beings of the earth (The Phazon). But Shinki still believed that humans still deserved to live and that life without the plague still had to continue. Then, with Yasomagatsuhi's help, humans Aleister Crowley and Nia Honjou were chosen to create a new civilization on the Moon (Crowley created the rabbits' souls, Nia their bodies, and between the two they created their minds). They accomplished the task using magic and science.
Life on Earth was distorted by the plague created by Shinki who, after maintaining the plague as a punishment to living beings, returned to his god form on Earth, meanwhile a new utopia was created on the Moon. Now the two creators of the lunar civilization are on other worlds on various missions to protect the moon, while Yasomagatsuhi now remains on the moon to protect it. And Shinki was in charge of managing and monitoring the distorted living beings of the earth, such as Yokai, vampires, fairies, et.
It was relatively simple, but Aleister didn't need a big complex creation story, he needed something that'd easily convince the Lunarians to listen to him. He didn't explain every detail so the Moon Rabbits could come to their own conclusions (He was personally expecting them to start deifying him and Nia, or at least thinking of them as divine champions of the gods).
It was likely this would lead to the creation of a Texture on the Moon and Earth, and potentially the Phazon would evolve into actually becoming a deity who should still be under Aleister's control. But if anything went wrong, he'd have Yasomagatsuhi destroy everything so he could start over again.
Now? He just needed to wait for the Lunarians to mature.
New city created!
Moon Capital.
A massive city on the moon created and maintained by Nibelcole and the Machine Army, with the Lunarians, an artificially created species live. The Moon Capital is near paradise for those living within, with temples to the Lunarian gods.
Control - 100%.
Worship - 100%.
Yasomagatsuhi resides in a temple in the Moon Capital, with Lunarians coming to give him sacrifices and offerings every day. There is also a temple to Shinki, a non-existent divine manifestation of the Phazon as a goddess (At least, until worship eventually brings her into being).
As he sipped his drink, Aleister felt today was a great success, not just because he'd gotten so much work done (Including creating an entire freaking species), but the fact Okita had accepted his request to go see a movie with her, a romance movie.
Currently he and the Assassin where sat next to each other, Okita holding his hand tightly as the actor's on the screen kissed. Glancing to his Servant, Aleister smirked at the red blush on her cheeks, she had said she had no interest in romance movies but the Assassin's earlier attitude had completely faded away, getting completely engrossed in the movie.
A part of him was sad the movie theater was so filled, now would've been a perfect time to kiss the beautiful Assassin. The master shook his head and returned to paying attention to the movie.
After the movie finished.
After the movie had finished, master and Servant had quickly left the theater to return to Aleister's car (It was an older model, a gift from his father when he had turned eighteen, although in all honestly it was probably time for ether a replacement or a serious upgrade). Getting in the car, Aleister smirked when he placed his right hand on a blushing Okita's leg, slowly moving it upwards.
"If you want me to stop, say it now". He whispered into her ear, but the Assassin only nodded and turned, leaning forward with the master eagerly doing the same.
Smooch!
Aleister's tongue explored a non-resisting Okita's mouth, his hands roaming across her body, his right squeezing her leg while his left took her into a hug, dragging her closer to him. The two stayed that way for a few minutes, exploring each other's bodies but not taking off any clothes, but eventually they both had to let go for air.
"Mine". Aleister kept his grip on Okita, who only leaned her head against her shoulder and whispered.
"Yours".
Bond up.
Okita Souji: 9.
Wohoooo! Just one more bond up and we have maxed out Okita! But for now thats the end of the chapter!

[Message Received]
VWWAAAAAAAARRRROOOOOOOOM!
{ENDBRINGER ALERT! SIMURGH HEADING FOR NEW YORK! PLEASE HEAD TO THE NEAREST ENDBRINGER SHELTER IMMEDIATELY!}
The romantic mood in Aleister's car immediately vanished, the master and Servant sharing a horrified look. Not even caring for anyone who could see it, the master quickly used Flash Air to take both himself and Okita to the Faust Castle, where the Machine Army, some of the Demi-Servants, and Medea were already beginning to prepare to move out, all dependent on Aleister's orders.
"I want everyone in a meeting room stat! We have...". Checking his phone, a message from FB confirmed it'd take half an hour for the Simurgh to arrive at New York. "Half an hour to plan our response!".
Nods where sent his way, the master running to the nearest meeting room followed by his allies. Mentally he went through things in his head, everyone was equipped with Hestia Charms so they'd be immune to Simurgh's mind fuckery, but what he was really worried about was the Endbringer getting her hands on anything from the Holy Grail War or even worst, making Ziz bombs out of Demi-Servants.
There where also his infiltrator androids to consider, he couldn't remove Raiden from the PRT but he may have to remove the Einzbern's and Harlaown's. Dammit dammit dammit why was an Endbringer attack happening so early!?
Well, I was planning another Endbringer attack for a while but at least we got everything we wanted done this chapter. Now? Now we just figure out our response to this. Same rules as last time.
