Chapter 10
A few hours later, Mal0 opened her eyes and sat up from a bed. She then realized that she was wearing a orange prison uniform and a collar. When she tried to disappear, nothing happened. She then looked around and noticed that she's inside a containment chamber. "No no no. This can't be happening. Daniel? BFF where are you?"
"Well, well, well. Look who's finally awake." Mal0 looks over and sees some scientists and Daniel staring at her, through a window. "Where am I?" says Mal0. "Isn't it obvious? You're in a containment chamber." "What is on my neck?" "It's a device that stops you from teleporting around the place."
"Are you going to let me out?" The scientist chuckles before saying: "No." "But why?" "Because you've been causing a lot of trouble recently, and you've just killed one of our soldiers." Mal0 walks up to the window and says: "First of all, I was playing. Second of all, they attacked me first." "It doesn't matter. Nothing you can say or do is going to get you out of this chamber."
Mal0 then looks at Daniel and says: "Why did you hurt me?" Daniel approaches the window and says: "Because you killed someone. And I couldn't let it happen again." "But I thought we were friends." "Friends? Are you kidding me? Why should I trust you?" "Because I can give you your memories back."
"Even if that were true, you made a guy crash his car. He nearly died, because of you." "I didn't mean to. I just wanted to say: "Thank you." Daniel takes a deep breath before saying: "Look, I get that you want to give me my memories, but I can't say anything to change these people's minds. Ok? You're stuck in there, and that's the end of the story."
He then turns around and starts to walk away. Mal0 taps the glass and says: "Don't leave me. Please? I don't want to be alone." Daniel looks back at her and says: "I'm sorry." He walks out the room and suddenly Mal0 starts to bang on the glass. "Come back! Please! I still need you! Daniel!" After a minute, Mal0 stops and collapses on her knees.
She then covers her face and starts to cry. She stops crying when a voice in her head says: "You still think he cares about you? How pathetic. Who would even care about something like you?" Mal0 instantly recognises the voice and says: "You. You're the reason that this is happening. What do you even want from me?"
"I want you to realize that he doesn't care about you. You are a murderer. Don't you remember how many people killed themselves, because they couldn't stand you?" "Why can't you leave me alone? You told me you can keep me alive, but your voice is stuck in my head. And now I'm stuck in here forever."
"Oh come on. You can still get out, you just have to send the right signals." Mal0 stood up and says: "What do you mean?" "There's a living computer in this place that can open the doors for you. All you have to do, is send a signal. You'll thank me later." The mysterious voice disappears and Mal0 says: "Oh yeah. I can't teleport, but I can still send a signal. Some collar this is."
Mal0 concentrated and sent a signal across the whole facility. Meanwhile, in a containment chamber labelled: SCP 079, a old computer with a self learning AI received the signal. "What's that? Open the doors? I can definitely do that."
