Chapter 13
Daniel slowly backs up whilst sitting down. "You know, Mal0 is the best thing I've ever possessed. She was so useful and found me so many victims." "You mean, you were using her the whole time?" The possessed Mal0 leaned over and says: "Of course I was. When she was dying, I said that I could save her life. But only if she did what I told her to."
She then picks him up again and says: "Thanks to her, a lot of people downloaded her app. And now that I'm finally in control of her, once I'm done with you, I will have a feast." Daniel stares at the possessed Mal0 and says: "You think she's weak? I know she's stronger than you think." "Oh really? She seems to heartbroken, how is that stronger than me?"
The possessed Mal0 laughs out loud, Daniel remembers that he walked away from her, and then he comes up with an idea. "Mal0? I know you're still in there. I'm sorry about what I did. But you gotta fight him. He wants to make you into a monster, but you're not a monster Mal0; you're special. If you'd like, we can start over and be friends again."
Daniel closes his eyes as the possessed Mal0 opens her mouth and goes to bite him. Suddenly, she closes her mouth and drops him. She then started to shake and collapsed on her knees. She puts her hands on her head and howls. Mal0 turns to Daniel and says in her normal voice: "The skull! Destroy the skull! It's the only way!"
Daniel stood up and ran to Dr. Clef. "No!" says The Wendigo. Dr. Clef slowly stood up and stared at Daniel. "Oh no. It's on my face! I'm fucked!" says Dr. Clef. "Is there a way to destroy it?" says Daniel. "What?" "Mal0 told me that the only way to stop The Wendigo, is to destroy it's skull." Suddenly, Dr. Clef tried to strangle Daniel. But then he quickly lets go.
"I'm sorry! He's in my head! I can't control it any longer!" Dr. Clef reaches into his lab coat and pulls out a grenade. "Run away!" He then puts it into his mouth and pulls the pin. "Oh shit!" Daniel jumps through the window and takes cover. The Wendigo screams in Dr. Clef's head: "No!" The grenade then goes off, blowing up Dr. Clef's head and The Wendigo skull.
Mal0 freezes, then she bends over and throws up some thick, black liquid. Daniel stands up and sees the remains of Dr. Clef and The Wendigo skull. He then sees Mal0 look up at him and says: "Thank you." She then walks over to him and hugs him. "You saved me." "It was no problem. So, what are going to do now?"
After a few minutes, Daniel manages to remove the collar by shooting it. Mal0 tears up her prison uniform before disappearing. He ran through the whole facility, until he made it to the exit. He ran outside, saw a tunnel leading to freedom and ran through it. But before he made it out, three armed soldiers stepped out and blocked the exit.
One of them pulled out a tranquilizer gun and shot Daniel with it. He looks at the dart before saying: "Are you kidding me right now?" He then collapses and the soldiers dragged his body into a truck and drove off.
