After 5 weeks of being in the camp and helping out with intelligence gathering, Harry was starting to fit in more and more. Peggy had finally accepted that Harry was apart of Steve and Bucky's lives even though she had a schoolgirl crush on the captain. Peggy watched Harry as he talked to the Howling Commandos and other military personal and got himself elected the mascot as he was almost like them, just younger. And Harry was okay with it as it made him feel include in something that was bigger then himself.
"Harry can you come over here please!" Peggy called out to the half Russian
Harry walked over to Peggy when he heard her voice call out to him like he had been in trouble with McGonagall. With the time he had spent in this year with Steve, Bucky and the Howling Commandos, Harry had learned so much about the war with Grinderwald. Harry had even met up with his grandfather and had spent a lot of time with the older man when they didn't have anything to do.
"Can I help you Agent Carter?" Harry asked
Harry didn't know what Peggy needed as he just wanted to be left alone for enough time so he could figure out how he could get back home. Though that didn't stop him from making friends with the military personal around and learning more about his fathers side of the family. Natasha had gone to Gringotts under the wire when she was seventeen to learn more about who she was and where her birth family comes from. And what she had found was that her birth mother had died in childbirth and her father was murdered because he changed his mind after giving her up.
Though Gringotts did give her a full family history spanning hundreds of generations of Romanova family and who if connected to them. This also included how her family line that came from the younger brother of the second Tsar of Russia in the 17th century. Natasha then taught this family history to her son when he became old enough to understand everything he was being told.
"I just want to see how you are handling everything. It seems like you are fitting in quite well." Peggy said
Peggy had learned to keep her mouth shut about Harry's affair with Steve and Bucky, especially she walked in on them after sex. She knew that if the affair got out, Steve and Bucky would be dishonorably discharged and dropped off in San Fransisco, almost 3000 miles away from their home in New York. And after how much work Steve put into just getting into the army in the first place, Peggy didn't want to ruin that for him.
"I'm fine. I truly am." Harry said
"Are you sure?" Peggy asked not really believing that Harry was truly fine.
"Peggy, I grew up in the later version of the SSR called SHIELD. I can do things kids my age normally can't do even if they tried." Harry said
Harry liked learning so Fury had taught him the history of SHIELD and where it had all started and who had founded it. Fury had said that the SSR had evolved into the science devision of SHIELD when the agency was founded after World War 2.
"What can you do?" Peggy asked
"I have Sniper skills, archery skills and I can fight like an assassin who doesn't use guns. I was taught a lot of skills because of who who had raised me." Harry asked
"Who taught you all of that?" Peggy asked
"It was how I was raised. My mother was trained to be an assassin by a Russian agency since birth due to her single father giving her up after her mother died. And the people I have been surrounded by, either by the Russian agency or SHIELD, had taught me their skills so I could protect myself if I get into trouble." Harry replied
Harry didn't say that he also knew how to handle many poisons known to man and not poison himself because of the KGB and Hogwarts. He didn't know how she or anyone around him would handle it if they found out that he could poison them without flinching. The last time he handled something was clarified as a poison, it only made the person he gave it to have explosive diarrhea like if he used a bit too much of a laxative.
"Anything else you want to know Agent Carter?" Harry asked
Harry hated the feeling of awkwardness as he knew that Peggy wanted to have all the information she could get on him. But he knew that if he kept his mouth shut, the SSR agent wouldn't get anything she desperately wanted.
"No, that's all." Peggy said before walking off herself so she could write what she had just learned from Harry.
Harry then wondered off to where the Howling Commandos were planning to see if he could help in any way. When Harry got to the tent he saw that they were planning a hit on another HYDRA base and were arguing on how to destroy it this time. There were many votes on bombs, like dynamite on timers, to take it down, though was at least one fire vote. But Steve seemed to find that a bit crass and beneath them as they just needed find the right support beam to topple it over.
The only support that Steve got on his idea also involved a bomb to appease everyone else at the table.
"Why does it always come to bombs?" Steve asked rhetorically
"Well, we wouldn't be bringing them up so often if you let us use them every once in a while." Dum Dum Dugan said like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
And Dugan was right, if they were able to use a bomb of their own making with a few missions, they wouldn't be like this. So far the Commandos had destroyed HYDRA bases via the electrical systems, oil fires, rock slides, a wild fire and then just went at it with bats. But they have never used bombs when they were taking down the crazy rogue Nazi science group in the past year and a half. Sure, whenever they did a fire there were explosions via fuel and the HYDRA bombs, but it was never of their own making.
"Come on Cap, let us do the bombs," James Montgomery Falsworth begged
Then the chanting began as every member of the Commandos said Bomb over and over as to get Steve to relent on his choices.
"Fine. We'll do the bombs." Steve said giving in.
Steve knew that if he didn't let the team use bombs on this mission, they will ask for bombs on another mission. When the Commandos got ready Peggy and Phillips came up to them for the debriefing which usually happened before the group went anywhere.
"You all ready?" Phillips asked
"Yeah!" The group cheered
"Well then, let's catch these bastards!" Phillips said
The commandos soon took off to where the HYDRA base was located and Harry just looked out as the group disappeared over the horizon. Harry hated to see them off as they may not come back in one piece, though he knew that they all came back and didn't die till 1945 or 1946 if they did die. Though there were a few people who made into the 1990's or beyond.
"You good kid?" Phillips asked
"I'm good." Harry said before walking off to where his grandfather and Howard Stark were talking.
Harry had gotten close the two as he needed to talk to someone all the while Steve and Bucky were out on a mission.
"Got any insight on this?" Howard asked Harry as scooted some plans.
Harry looked over the plans that he got from Howard and saw that it was for the tesseract and Harry paled at the sight of the plans. The plans almost looked exactly like the plans Fury had himself for tesseract weapons that no one but him, Fury and other authorized personal knew about. Harry had found out about the plans by accident when he had overheard Fury and Phil talking about the plans when they thought they were alone.
"Instead of basically copying HYDRA. Make it like a Smith & Wesson revolver and have the Tesseract energy make bullets that go into empty spaces at the bottom after each shot fired." Harry suggested
Harry didn't want to be apart of this, but he felt as if he had no choice in the matter as he was specifically ask to help out with it.
"That actually could work." Howard said before grabbing a new piece of paper and beginning to draw a new design.
"Harry you don't look so well." Charlus said
"This was about the time that the time travel spell takes me to a new destination." Harry said
It was only Charlus and Harry talking as Howard was too focused on his gun design that he was working on.
"Why do you say that?" Charlus asked
"When I first came to the past, I lasted like 4 weeks. I'm actually a week over due from the last time." Harry said
"Are you nervous about this time?" Charlus asked
"A bit as I never like falling for anything, even quidditch." Harry said
"I don't like falling either. I think it's a Potter family trait." Charlus said
"Дерьмо, I thought it was due to the Black family." Harry said
Harry knew that his great grandmother was a member of the noble house of Black before she married her husband.
"Oh hell no. It's the Potters for sure. My father felt the same way. And I bet your father did as well." Charlus said
Charlus knew that Harry never knew his father because of a dark wizard and only knew stories via his mother, his presto uncle and godfather. Harry liked how his grandfather taught him about things that his father should have taught him if he were still alive. After about man hour, Harry left to go get something to eat but he didn't make it to the mess tent as the time vortex opened up. As Harry was falling in the vortex, he almost puked from the sensation.
1945
Harry stood to his feet and started to shiver at the coldness of the air before he looked around to see where he was this time.
"Harry?" A voice said from behind the half Russian
Harry quickly turned around to see Dugan standing behind him all concerned like
"Date?" Harry asked
"February 10th, 1945." Dugan said
"Ебать." Harry swore in Russian
Dugan smiled to himself as he had missed hearing Harry speak his native language of Russian.
"You good?" Dugan asked
"Sometimes I hate magic." Harry said
"Want to come with me to the camp?" Dugan asked
"Is Steve and Bucky still with you?" Harry asked
"Yes. Why do you ask?" Dugan asked
"History class from the future." Harry said
"What happened to them?" Dugan asked
"HYDRA happened." Harry said
Dugan then took Harry to the camp where everyone was waiting for Dugan to return from patrol.
"Harry!" Steve said happily before running to his secret boyfriend.
"Steve!" Harry said
The two hug each other and before they separated from the other they hear another voice.
"Harry? Детка?" The voice of Bucky asked
Both Steve and Buck had been taught how to say baby and doll in Russian so no one around them would know about their gayness. They wouldn't tell anyone what the translations were as it would expose them and get them dishonorably discharged. They also knew that they needed to keep their mouths shut so they could repeat history and make sure Harry went to the right timeline. Steve and Harry soon separate each other and they made a little group with Bucky.
"Time vortex again?" Bucky asked
"Yep. I almost puked on they way here." Harry said
"Damn. That doesn't sound to good." Steve said
"It's definitely not." Harry said
"Are you good now?" Bucky asked
"Yeah I am." Harry said
"Are you sure?" Steve asked
"I am. Though I could go for something to drink." Harry said
Steve and Bucky then took Harry to where the water was set up and they saw that Phillips, Peggy and the Howling Commandos were at. The Commandos and Phillips were happy to see Harry there as they all liked him when they first met him. Peggy didn't like him as she wanted Steve all for herself but she knew that she had to go through both Bucky and Harry to get Steve.
"Hey Сука, nice to see you." Harry said
Now Harry wasn't going to call Peggy a bitch in English as he didn't want to get a slap from her, all he wanted to do was confuse her on what he had called her. Peggy knew not to ask what Harry had called her as she had learned last year that he would not translate anything if it wasn't good.
"Nice to see you Harry." Peggy said in an indifferent voice.
Harry then turned back to Phillips and the Commandos.
"So what's your new mission?" Harry asked
"We're trying to get the HYDRA scientist Arnim Zola." Gabe Jones said
This information made Harry pale.
"Harry what's wrong?" Morita asked
"I was taught about Zola when I was originally taught about HYDRA. And nothing's good about that Крысиный ублюдок. If he is sentenced to prison, don't offer him a position in the SSR." Harry said
Harry knew that it was Peggy's call when it came to getting Zola into SHIELD and what he had just said, it fell on deaf ears. Harry knew that what he said wouldn't make any difference as he knew Peggy did what she wanted and did the opposite of what Harry would say. So to Peggy, what she heard was, Let Zola into the agency and do science experiments and take no shit about it. After about a week of planning, the mission to get Zola soon came up.
Phillips had let Harry work on this mission as he could easily get Zola off the train when the time was right. Harry used a broom an auror had left behind and even with the broom, Harry couldn't save Bucky from falling to his death. Harry cried as one of his boyfriends was gone and he could save him, but he did his job and got Zola off of the train. It took everything for Harry not to kill Zola right at that moment as he knew that Zola needed to stay alive to transfer his conciseness into some supercomputers.
The next day and a half, Steve to went down in the ice, but Harry knew that he was still alive as he had seen him at SHIELD. About 3 hours after Steve went down Harry went back into the time vortex, the shortest time ever, and back to Hogwarts.
2011
Harry had landed in Dumbledore's office which was surprising to him.
"Hello Mr. Potter." Dumbles said
"What time is it?" Harry asked as he held his head that had a bump on it.
"About 30 minutes before Mr. Malfoy will hit you with the time spell." Dumbles said
"Дерьмо." Harry said
Dumbles knew that Harry knew different languages, but never ad heard him use any of them himself as he was always away when the Potter bo used the languages.
