Chapter 25: Infiltrate Silph Co.
Hello everyone, this chapter will continue Ash and Gary's battle and have the group Infiltrate Silph Co. enjoy!
We begin the story with Ash and Gary's battle with Charmeleon and Blastoise colliding with each other creating an explosion as they skid back to their trainers Gary makes his next move.
"Hydro Pump!" Gary calls Blastoise quickly fires the large stream of water from its cannons on its back towards Charmeleon.
"Dodge Charmeleon then use Dragon Dance!" Ash calls Charmeleon easily dodges the Hydro Pump and spins increasing its attack/speed it then begins running towards Blastoise
"Thunder Punch!" Ash calls Charmeleon's fist glows with electricity
"Counter with Rapid Spin!" Gary calls Blastoise goes into its shell spinning it then shoots forward colliding with Charmeleon, the fire lizard tries to stand its ground, but Blastoise easily pushes Charmeleon away as Gary makes his next move.
"Now Hydro Pump!" Gary calls as Blastoise quickly fires the water Ash couldn't make a command in time as the Hydro Pump hits Charmeleon causing super effective damage, but the fire lizard stands up and roars.
"My Charmeleon trains with my Gyarados, Wartortle, Kingler and Misty's water types all the time its good at tanking water type moves" Ash says with Charmeleon roaring in confirmation.
"Okay then let's try this Blastoise Water Pulse!" Gary calls as Blastoise fires the ball of water towards Charmeleon
"Punch it back with Thunder Punch!" Ash calls Charmeleon punches the water pulse back covering it in electricity it hits Blastoise doing some damage to the turtle and paralyzing it.
"Great Charmeleon now use Thunder Punch!" Ash calls Charmeleon roars as it charges forward at the paralyzed Blastoise but Gary isn't worried.
"Blastoise use Refresh then jump in the air!" Gary calls Blastoise glows a light blue healing its paralysis surprising Ash and Charmeleon the turtle then jumps high into the air.
"Now Waterfall!" "Dodge Charmeleon!" both trainers call Blastoise incases its body in water as it quickly shoots down towards Charmeleon but the fire lizard was able to back away in time dodging the move Blastoise lands on the ground still having water covering its body as Gary smirks.
"Use Waterfall again!" Gary calls Blastoise quickly shoots forward hitting Charmeleon causing major damage to it the fire lizard flies towards Ash landing under his feet.
"Are you okay Charmeleon?!" Ash calls Charmeleon stands up smiling at Ash, it begins to wobble a little but can catch itself as it stares back at Blastoise
"Gary's really driving Ash into a corner" Misty says with Leaf nodding.
"Go, Gary, Go, Gary!" The cheerleaders cheer as Gary waves to them he then looks at Ash.
"So, what are you going to do next Ashy boy?" Gary asks as Ash begins to think.
"Blastoise defense is high and its able to heal itself from status what can I do?" Ash thinks to himself he gets an idea and smiles.
"Charmeleon I just thought of a good idea to get another hit in on Blastoise you ready?" Ash asks with Charmeleon roaring.
"Seems like Ash thought of something" Misty says with Leaf nodding.
"Okay Charmeleon run forward and use Flamethrower!" Ash calls Charmeleon roars as it dashes forward firing the stream of fire.
"Blastoise Hydro Pump!" Gary calls Blastoise quickly fires the large stream of water it easily destroys the Flamethrower as it heads towards Charmeleon
"Jump Charmeleon and use Sunny Day!" Ash calls Charmeleon jumps high into the air dodging Hydro Pump it roars to the sky summoning the harsh Sunlight its now above Blastoise with fire in its mouth.
"Now Flamethrower!" Ash calls Charmeleon fires the move its bigger than last time and heads straight for Blastoise
"Use Rapid Spin to dodge Blastoise!" Gary calls Blastoise spins easily dodging the fire as Ash smiles.
"Now land on Blastoise!" Ash calls as Charmeleon lands on the spinning turtle's back shocking everyone
"So, your plan was to get Charmeleon on Blastoise back?" Gary asks with Ash nodding as he makes his next command.
"Charmeleon use Thunder Punch!" "Blastoise spin faster and get Charmeleon off of you!" Both trainers call before Charmeleon can use Thunder Punch Blastoise begins to spin very fast making Charmeleon hold on tightly Charmeleon then ready's its fist.
"GO Charmeleon!" Ash yells "Char!" Charmeleon roars it covers its fist in electricity as it punches Blastoise's back with Thunder Punch making the turtle stop spinning as it groans from pain.
"Now Flamethrower!" "Double Team!" Both trainers call as Charmeleon fires the flamethrower Blastoise quickly makes multiple copies of itself dodging the move as Charmeleon hits the fake Blastoise instead landing back on the ground as the real one is in front of it.
"Skull Bash!" Gary calls Blastoise hits Charmeleon in the stomach making the fire lizard cough but Charmeleon doesn't fly away as it holds on tightly to Blastoise with its body heating up.
"Blastoise quick get out of there!" Gary calls in worry "Too late Gary Charmeleon Overheat!" Ash calls Charmeleon roars as it quickly fires the move at point blank range consuming Blastoise the turtle cries out in pain as it flies back to Gary's side it's still standing but stumbles a little bit.
"Usually, fire type moves wouldn't be very effective against water types but since Overheats a strong fire type move and with the Sunny Day making it stronger it was able to damage Blastoise" Leaf says as Misty nods.
"Nice strategy Ash but were just getting started" Gary says as Blastoise roars.
"Same with us let's keep going Charmeleon!" Ash says Charmeleon roars in confirmation as they're about to continue the battle they hear an explosion.
"What's that?!" They all say in shock they then hear a woman's voice.
"HELP!" A woman's voice yells as the group see a woman running away from multiple Team Rocket grunts.
"Get back here!" "Stop her Rhydon!" The grunts yell as they send out their Rhydon's that jump towards the woman while the woman is running, she trips the Rhydon's are about to hit her, but Ash and Gary make their commands.
"Hydro Pump!" "Flamethrower!" Both boys call as Blastoise and Charmeleon fire their moves knocking the Rhydon's away both mons and Pikachu stand protectively over the woman as they stare at the grunts.
"Are you okay?" Brock asks helping the lady up.
"Why yes thank you" The woman says.
"Get out of the way you brats!" A TR grunt yells as Ash speaks.
"No way if you want her you have to get thru us!" Ash responds with Gary, Blastoise, Charmeleon and Pikachu nodding Misty and Leaf get their Pokeball's ready.
"Fine have it your wa-" Before the grunt could finish, he receives a message from his earpiece he nods and speaks.
"You kids win this round come on let's go!" The grunt says with the others nodding as they run away from the group, they keep running until they're out of view.
"That was close we almost got into a fight with Team Rocket" Leaf says.
"But what's Team Rocket doing in Saffron City and why were they chasing you?" Misty asks as she and everyone else look at the woman.
"Team Rocket are currently taking over Silph Co. they've been in control of it for weeks I was finally able to escape but some of the grunts saw me and started chasing me until I ran into you" The woman says as the group nods.
"Wait if Team Rocket's taking over Silph Co then Derek's in trouble!" Leaf says in shock.
"Who's Derek?" Gary asks.
"He's a new friend I made today when I was walking back to the Pokemon Center he also works at Silph Co. we need to help him" Leaf says as the group nods.
"Why are Team Rocket taking over Silph Co. what do they need from there?" Brock asks looking at the woman.
"The reason why Team Rocket are taking over Silph Co. is so they can oversee the making of the Master Ball" The woman responds.
"Masterball?" The group questions.
"It's a powerful Pokeball that can capture any Pokemon it doesn't matter if their weak, strong, mythical, Legendary the Master Ball will always succeed" The woman says shocking the group.
"A Pokeball that can capture any Pokemon easily if Team Rocket get their hands on that and mass produce them, they could have an army of not only strong Pokemon but legendary Pokemon on their side" Gary says.
"Wait if Team Rocket are taking over Silph Co. how come the gym leader hasn't done anything? I've heard she's a powerful Psychic user she should be able to easily sense Team Rocket and stop them from creating the Masterball" Ash asks with everyone wondering the same.
"I'm not sure Ms. Sabrina only came to the building once and after that she hasn't come back to the building since then when she left, she had an expressionless look on her face" The woman says as the group nod, they then hear a voice.
"Interesting tell us more" The voice says the group turn they see two people walk over to them they stand their guard but once the man and woman get closer Ash, Gary and Leaf have smiles on their faces.
"Mr. Riley and Ms. Yellow!" Ash, Gary and Leaf say happily confusing Brock, Misty and the woman as they see the man and woman wave as the man speaks.
"Hello Ash, Gary and Leaf you look well" Riley says happily as Ash and Leaf run up to greet them while Gary walks over.
"We haven't seen you in 2 years!" Leaf says happily as she hugs Yellow.
"Yes, it's been a long time you've grown into a fine girl Leaf" Yellow says smiling at Leaf as Leaf smiles back.
"You've also grown Ash and Gary I see that you and Leaf have finally started your Pokemon journey" Riley says with the two boys nodding Riley also says hello to Pikachu, Charmeleon and Blastoise, Misty, Brock and the woman walk over.
"Hey Ash, who are these two?" Misty asks as Ash looks to her.
"Oh, these two are old travel buddies of my parents and Brocks parents these are Mr. Riley and Ms. Yellow" Ash says as the two adults go to greet them.
"You must be Flint and Lola's first born I haven't seen you since you were a year old you've gotten bigger my names Riley" Riley says shaking Brock's hand.
"It's nice to meet you my parents told me stories of your travels with Red" Brock responds Yellow then goes to meet Misty.
"Hello, I'm Yellow it's a pleasure to meet you" Yellow says introducing herself to Misty with Misty shaking her hand Gary then speaks.
"It's great to see you 2 again but why are you here in Saffron City?" Gary asks as Riley and Yellow look at him.
"We're here to help our friend Sabrina" Yellow responds.
"Is something wrong with the gym leader?" Ash questions as Riley speaks.
"Yes, we've gotten word from Sabrina's parents saying that Sabrina hasn't been acting like herself" Riley responds shocking the group as Leaf speaks.
"I knew something was wrong with her I was just telling Gary today that she felt off to me" Leaf says.
"Tell us Leaf what was Sabrina like when you met her" Yellow asks as Leaf begins to speak.
"Well, like the woman said she has an emotionless look on her face and speaks in a monotone voice" Leaf responds as Riley and Yellow nod Riley speaks.
"I see while Sabrina is usually quiet and doesn't talk much when we were traveling with her, she always had a very fun/bright personality once she got to know you" Riley says as the group nod.
"I wonder what happened to her to make her act differently?" Yellow wonders as Ash speaks.
"Could it have something to do with what happened to her a long time ago? 5 years ago, during the Christmas party you and the other adults mentioned that something happened to her in the past." Ash asks as Riley speaks.
"No, it wouldn't be that this is something else entirely" Riley responds as Ash nods Yellow then looks towards the woman the group helped.
"You were mentioning before that Sabrina hasn't been herself after Team Rocket took over Silph Co. can you tell us more?" Yellow asks as the woman nods and begins to speak.
"Yes 4 weeks ago once Team Rocket took over the company Ms. Sabrina came to the building as soon as she entered, she grabbed her head and started screaming in pain it was as if something was trying to take over her. After 10 seconds Ms. Sabrina gets the emotionless look on her face like you mentioned and headed out of the building and she hasn't come back since then." The woman says as the group nod.
"So, it must be a powerful psychic user that's taking over Sabrina" Brock says.
"That seems to be the case, but I've never heard/seen any Team Rocket member having Psychic powers that can take control of Sabrina" Yellow responds as Riley speaks.
"Will anyway we need to stop team rocket Yellow you meet up with Sabrina's father and go to the Saffron gym to try and break Sabrina out of the psychic hold she's in" Riley says as Yellow nods Riley continues to speak.
"As for me I'll infiltrate Silph Co. and put a stop to Team Rocket" Riley says as Ash speaks.
"We'll come with you" Ash says shocking Riley and Yellow as Misty, Brock, Gary and Leaf stand next to him.
"No Ash, I can't recommend you or your friends to come with me it's too dangerous and their boss might be here I don't want you to get hurt their boss is a very dangerous man" Riley responds as Ash speaks.
"Even still the building is covered with a lot of members of Team Rocket there's no way you can defeat all of them by yourself besides we've encountered Team Rocket multiple times so far and if the boss is there, we can finally get rid of the organization" Ash states with a determined look in his eyes with his friends and Pokemon having the same look Riley looks at them and signs.
"You really resemble Red when you act like this okay, I'll let you and your friends come but on one condition you've to follow my orders exactly, stay close to me and if we encounter the boss, I don't want any of you to battle him" Riley says in a serious tone as the kids nod the woman then speaks again.
"If you're really going to the company, please you've to save my coworkers and the Silph Co. President they're currently being forced to work while creating the Masterball" The woman request as they nod Riley then walks over to the woman putting a hand on her shoulder.
"Don't worry we'll make sure to rescue everyone and get team rocket out of this city" Riley says with a reassuring smile as the woman smiles back.
"We'll leave soon make sure you're ready" Riley states as everyone nods Ash then walks over to Misty and Brock
"You guys should go get the police while I head in the Silph Co with Mr. Riley" Ash says surprising them.
"Are you sure Ash we want to help as well" Brock says as Misty nods.
"Yeah, I'm sure besides I don't want my Pokemon egg to be hurt in the crossfire so I'm trusting you guys to take care of it and informing the police will help as well" Ash responds with Brock and Misty nodding as Leaf walks over.
"Don't worry I'll make sure to protect Ash" Leaf says smiling as Ash looks at her.
"What do you mean "protect" I can take care of myself" Ash responds.
"Please you'll just do something reckless again like on the SS. Anne I'm making sure you stay close and out of trouble" Leaf responds annoying Ash as the two begin to argue on who will protect who Brock and Misty let out a nervous chuckle as Gary walks over.
"I'll be sure they stay out of trouble" Gary says with Misty and Brock nodding.
"Okay Riley I'm going to go meet with Sabrina's dad and we'll head to the gym" Yellow says as Riley nods before Yellow leaves one of Ash's Pokeball's open as Haunter appears shocking the group.
"Haunter why'd you come out?" Ash asks as Haunter floats over to Yellow.
"Are you saying you're going to help Ms. Yellow save Sabrina?" Ash asks with Haunter nodding.
"It's okay with me Ash I don't mind Haunter helping and I'll take good care of it" Yellow says as Ash nods.
"Okay then Haunter make sure you don't cause Ms. Yellow trouble" Ash says Haunter nods it grabs on Yellow's shoulder and the two teleport away from the group shocking them.
"Whoa I didn't know Ms. Yellow can teleport" Leaf says in shock.
"Yes, after training in the Anistar gym she gained the ability to teleport but she's only able to do it twice a day" Riley responds with the group nodding.
"Now then Ash, Leaf and Gary are you ready?" Riley asks with the 3 kids nodding.
"Good come on let's go" Riley says as he and the kids run in the direction of Silph Co. as they're running Ash and Pikachu look back towards Misty, Brock and the Riolu egg one more time they smile as they turn forward to keep running once, they're out of view Brock speaks.
"Come on Misty let's hurry" Brock says with Misty nodding as they and the woman quickly begin to run towards the police station Misty thinks to herself.
"I hope they stay safe" Misty says to herself as Ash's Riolu egg glows agreeing with her feelings as they keep running.
3 minutes later the team of Riley, Ash, Gary and Leaf make it to Silph Co but are currently hiding in an alley way as they see two men in front of the door guarding the building.
"How are we going to get pass the guards?" Ash asks as Riley speaks.
"Don't worry watch" Riley says as he holds out his hand towards the guards his body begins to glow in blue aura as he's able to put the guards to sleep surprising the 3 kids and Pikachu.
"Whoa you can put people to sleep with Aura that's cool!" Ash and Leaf say with stars in their eyes as Gary looks on in amazement.
"Yes, but they won't stay asleep for long come on" Riley says with the group nodding as the 4 of them quickly run inside the building unbeknownst to the group Jessie, James and Meowth were watching and quickly head inside the building to inform the boss.
Once inside the building they notice there's no one on the bottom level not even a receptionist.
"Where is everyone?" Ash asks.
"They're probably being held captive upstairs come on" Riley says with the 3 kids nodding they run upstairs when they're about to make it to the first floor Riley can sense a lot of Team Rocket grunts ahead as he tells Ash, Leaf and Gary they need to hide they nod the 4 of them hide behind a wall.
"What now? We can't move freely if the grunts are patrolling the area" Leaf asks as Riley looks around, he sees no camera's and speaks.
"Don't worry I've an idea just stay right here" Riley says with the kids nodding as he uses his aura to move really fast and easily knocks out the five rocket grunts impressing the kids more.
"You easily knocked them out" Ash and Leaf say with stars in their eyes.
"So, what do we do next?" Gary asks.
"Well seeing as were not TR members we can't move around freely in the building so let's become them" Riley suggest making the kids confused at first, but they then understand what he means.
"You want us to where their clothes?" Leaf asks.
"Precisely" Riley responds as he and the kids begin to strip the grunts of their clothes and put them over the clothes, they're already wearing they also put the 4 unconscious rocket grunts in a closet.
"So, this is what wearing a TR uniform feels like" Ash says.
"I must say it's pretty cozy" Leaf responds.
"I'm more surprised these clothes were able to fit us" Gary says with Ash and Leaf nodding as Riley speaks also wearing the clothing.
"Good you're in the outfits also Ash you should return Pikachu to its Pokeball otherwise it'll make the other grunts weary of us" Riley suggests looking at Ash.
"Sorry Mr. Riley but Pikachu doesn't like being in its Pokeball" Ash says with Pikachu nodding Riley then puts his hand on his chin and thinks.
"I see…. okay let's do this" Riley says as he looks at the fifth unconscious grunt, he takes out a pair of scissors and cuts the shirt making it smaller so it can fit Pikachu he also gives the yellow mouse a black hat to wear.
"I've seen some TR Pokemon wearing the uniforms before so this should help make the grunts not suspect anything" Riley says smiling he then puts the 5th unconscious grunt in a closet.
"Whoa thank you Mr. Riley what do you think Pikachu?" Ash asks Pikachu looks at the clothes its wearing and smiles giving a happy "Pika."
"You look so cute Pikachu" Leaf says happily making Pikachu smile as Gary speaks.
"Now that wearing the uniforms what's our next move?" Gary asks looking at Riley as he speaks.
"Simple were going to find the prisoner's saving them first then we'll deal with the TR members and save the company president" Riley responds as the 3 kids nod the group then go up to the next floor and are easily able to walk pass the grunts with none of them suspecting anything as the group begins to search for the prisoners.
Let's check in on the team of Yellow and Haunter they were able to meet up with Sabrina's dad named Steve (Sabrina's dad in the main anime doesn't have a name so I'm naming him Steve) he's an old man wearing a yellow cap, a green long sleeve shirt and blue pants after he and Yellow catch up for a bit, they enter the Saffron City gym with one of Sabrina's assistant's taking them to Sabrina.
"Ms. Sabrina is in this room she's been meditating since this afternoon I'll take my leave now" The assistant says as the 2 adults and Haunter thank her once she leaves Yellow takes a deep breath.
"Are you okay Yellow?" Steve asks as the woman looks at him.
"Yes, it's just I haven't seen Sabrina in a long time I'm a bit nervous" Yellow responds as Steve nods.
"Yeah, I don't blame you, you haven't seen her in 15 years after all" Steve says as Yellow nods.
"After what happened 15 years ago with Silver, she closed herself off from us wanting to be alone but this time I'm going to help her" Yellow states as Steve nods they open the door. Once they open it, they see Sabrina still meditating floating in the air she opens her eyes and speaks.
"Hello, have you come for a gym battle?" Sabrina asks as her father speaks.
"No Sabrina it's me your father and your friend Yellow" Steve responds as Yellow walks over to Sabrina and speaks.
"Hello Sabrina, it's me Yellow we haven't seen each other in a long time how've you been?" Yellow says looking at Sabrina as the expressionless woman looks at Yellow and speaks.
"I don't know you" Sabrina says shocking Yellow and her father as Yellow speaks.
"Come on Sabrina you gotta remember me don't you remember the times we traveled with Red, Delia, Flint, Lola and Riley?" Yellow asks looking at the expressionless woman.
"I don't have memories like that" Sabrina responds shocking Yellow more as tears start to well up in her eyes.
"Come on Sabrina you mean to tell me that you don't remember all the adventures we had together when we were a traveling group?" Yellow asks
"I don't have those memories" Sabrina responds.
"No that can't be true you gotta remember!" Yellow yells
"I don't have those memories" Sabrina says again as tears start to flow from Yellow's eyes, she grabs Sabrina's hand and looks deep into her eyes.
"THERE'S NO WAY YOU DON'T REMEMBER THOSE TIMES WE HAD TOGETHER PLEASE SABRINA REMEMBER!" Yellow yells while looking deep into the expressionless woman's eyes.
"I've already told you I don't have those memories now if you excuse me I'm going to continue to meditate come back when you're ready to have a gym battle I'll be waiting" Sabrina says with no emotion on her face or in her voice as she removes her hand from Yellow she closes her eyes and begins to meditate as Yellow backs away she gets down on her knees having a shocked look on her face as tears start to flow from her eyes. Steve and Haunter have sad expressions on their faces as Steve walks over to Yellow putting his hand on her shoulder as Yellow speaks.
"How? How could she not remember me or our friends? After all that time we spent traveling together?" Yellow questions with a sad look on her face.
"No, she definitely remembers whatever's controlling her must be blocking her memories there's no way Sabrina would forget about you or the others you all have a strong bond what we need to do is save her from what's controlling her" Steve says Yellow wipes the tears from her eyes she gets a determined look on her face and speaks.
"You're right this is no time for me to be sad I came here to help my friend and that's what I'm going to do!" Yellow states as Steve and Haunter smile
"Good now let's save my daughter" Steve says with Yellow nodding they walk over to Sabrina as the woman looks at them.
"Are you going to challenge me to a battle?" Sabrina asks.
"No Sabrina we're going to help you will you allow us to touch your head?" Steve asks as Sabrina speaks.
"I'm not sure what you mean by wanting to help me but as long as you don't interfere with my meditation I don't mind" Sabrina responds closing her eyes as her father and Yellow smile their smiles quickly go away as they each put one hand on Sabrina's forehead, they close their eyes and glow in a yellow and blue aura respectively and dive into Sabrina's mind.
"Looks like we're in" Yellow says with Steve nodding.
"Come on let's find Sabrina" Steve says with Yellow nodding as they begin to flow in Sabrina's mind looking for her.
Back in Silph Co. the group of Riley, Ash, Leaf and Gary have made it to the 6th floor their disguise strategy is a success none of the Rocket grunts have suspected them allowing the group to move freely in the building and avoid unnecessary fights.
"I'm surprised by how well our disguises are working" Ash says.
"Me too" Leaf responds.
"But don't you think it's working too well how come none of the grunts questioned why there are 3 kids in Rocket uniforms here?" Gary asks.
"I'm not sure why either but come on the woman said that the hostages should be on the 6th floor they're this way I feel them with my aura" Riley says with the kids nodding as they continue to walk, they find a door but its locked and will need a key card to open it.
"Darn we don't have anything to open the door with" Ash says in frustration Riley smiles and pulls out a key card from his pocket surprising the kids.
"You have a Key Card? Where'd you get it?" The kids ask as Riley speaks.
"It seems like the grunt I took clothes from had one in his pocket" Riley responds.
"Whoa that's great now we can help the hostages" Ash and Leaf say with Riley nodding he puts the key card on the panel opening the door once it opens the group see many scientists and some people who look like receptionist, they all look tired and hungry they look at the group and get scared.
"What are you doing here? we're still working very hard" A scientists says as Ash walks over.
"It's okay we're here to rescue you" Ash says.
"Yeah, right why would a member of Team Rocket rescue us?" A scientist questions not believing Ash's words as Riley speaks.
"This boy speaks the truth my name is Riley we were told from a woman that escaped from here that there were prisoners we've come to help you" Riley says taking off his hat as the hostages look at him, they don't feel any hostility from Riley one of the scientists then speak.
"Can we really trust you?" A scientist asks as Riley smiles.
"Yes, you can come on we'll make sure you get out of the building safely" Riley says.
"But what about the grunts?" Another scientist asks.
"Don't worry we'll take care of them as well" Riley responds smiling with the scientist nodding they start to walk out of the room but the other grunts notice.
"Hey what do you think you're doing?! We're order to keep those hostages in the room!" A few grunts yell as they run over.
"Sorry but I'm taking them out of this building" Riley responds.
"Oh yeah try it!" The grunts say as they send out Zubat's, Ratitcates, and Golbats
"Looks like it's finally time to battle" Ash says with Pikachu sparking its cheeks while Leaf and Gary get their Pokeball's ready, but Riley stops them.
"What are you doing Mr. Riley? we can help" Ash says as Riley smiles.
"I know but we don't need to use our Pokemon" Riley responds confusing the kids as he walks over to the grunts and Pokemon
"I'll defeat all of you in a second" Riley states as the grunts laugh.
"Yeah, right our Pokemon will rip you to shreds attack!" The grunts yell as their Pokemon charge at Riley but the man isn't scared a blue aura appears from Riley's body he glares at the grunts and Pokemon he sends out a shock wave of aura knocking the Pokemon and grunts away this also affects the grunts on the lower levels as well as they're knocked unconscious leaving the kids and scientists shocked this also shakes the building alerting Giovanni.
"You should be able to leave now the grunts on the lower levels are unconscious there's the stairs you should hurry they won't stay down for long" Riley says with the hostages nodding they thank Riley as they quickly run down the stairs Ash and Leaf then go over to Riley having stars in their eyes.
"That was so cool how were you able to do that?!" Both kids ask
"Oh, it's similar to what I did to the two guards at the front of the building I build up the aura in my body and shoot it out in a wave that can knockout my enemies" Riley responds as Ash and Leaf nod.
"Wait if you could do that can't you send out a shockwave to the entire building knocking out everyone? it'll make it easier for us to arrest the grunts and defeat their boss" Gary asks as Riley speaks.
"Unfortunately, I still don't have full control over it, if I do send out an aura shockwave to knockout all the grunts in this building, I would use up all the aura I've in my body and it would not only knock out the TR members, but us and the people in the city as well. Also, if their boss is here, he won't be knocked out by my aura." Riley responds as Gary nods and wonders how strong the TR boss is.
"So does this mean I can do it too one day?" Ash questions as Riley looks at him confused.
"What do you mean by that Ash?" Riley asks.
"Oh, that's right I haven't told you after winning the SS. Anne Tournament I received a Riolu egg, and it seems my aura abilities are starting to awaken" Ash says shocking Riley.
"That's amazing Ash but unfortunately I don't think you'll be able to do what I just did for a long time even your father can't do it" Riley says as Ash signs in disappointment.
"You know among the hostages we saved I didn't see Derek" Leaf says in a worried tone.
"They must have him on another floor" Gary responds with Leaf nodding she then looks to Riley.
"Now that we've saved the hostages what do we do now?" Leaf asks as Riley gets a serious expression.
"Well, that shock wave just now must've alerted the other Rocket grunts, so they'll be here soon, we'll have to battle our way thru them and reach the top floor to save the president and your friend Derek" Riley says as the kids nod, they then see multiple TR grunts running downstairs.
"Looks like they're already here" Ash says.
"Guess we don't need our disguises anymore" Gary says with the others nodding as they take off their disguises surprising the grunts.
"Wait is that the kid who won the SS. Anne Tournament?" "And the man with them is Riley the aura user" The grunts say in shock.
"Come on let's not waste any time on them!" Riley says with Ash, Gary and Leaf nodding as Ash makes a command.
"Pikachu Thunderbolt!" Ash calls Pikachu let's out a big bolt of electricity shocking the grunts easily knocking them out.
"Let's move!" Riley says with the 3 kids nodding as they quickly run up the stairs and battle more TR grunts.
"Meanwhile on the top floor in Giovanni's room Giovanni, Matori, Proton, Damian and the trio are watching the security camera's seeing the group easily defeating multiple TR grunts.
"Not only are those brats here but Riley's here as well this could be trouble" Proton says.
"What should we do sir?" Matori asks looking at Giovanni who speaks.
"Matori have your team intercept them" Giovanni says with Matori nodding Damian then speaks.
"Excuse me for my rudeness sir but will you allow me to take care of Ash, Gary and Leaf I promise I can defeat them" Damian asks as Giovanni looks at him.
"Fine then Matori have your team deal with Riley while Damian and Proton you deal with the brats" Giovanni says with the 3 nodding before they leave Giovanni speaks.
"Proton, Damian make sure you leave Ash Ketchum for me I'll personally take care of him" Giovanni says with Proton and Damian nodding as they alongside Matori leave the room Jessie, James and Meowth then look at Giovanni.
"Um what do you want us to do sir?" Jessie asks.
"You three have done enough for now go back to the base I'll contact you when I've another mission for you" Giovanni says with the trio nodding they give a salute and leave Silph Co. they hop onto their hot air balloon and fly in the direction of the TR base. The Silph Co. President who's in the room smiles and speaks.
"Now that Riley's here you're finished" The President says Giovanni looks at him and smiles.
"Riley being here doesn't change anything" Giovanni responds as he goes back to watching the screen of Riley, Ash, Gary and Leaf battling the TR grunts they are now on the 8th floor.
"Thunderbolt Pikachu!" Ash calls Pikachu fires a Thunderbolt knocking out more grunts.
"Looks like that takes care of the grunts on this floor" Leaf says with the others nodding.
"Let's keep going!" Ash says as he and Pikachu run towards the stairs before the go up them Riley senses something.
"Ash wait!" Riley yells as he shoots forward grabbing the two of them and quickly pulls them back as a Stone Edge appears.
"A Stone Edge?" Gary and Leaf say in shock as Riley, Ash and Pikachu land back on the ground.
"Are you two, okay?" Riley asks.
"Yeah, thank you" "Pika" Ash and Pikachu say as Leaf and Gary run over to them; they then hear a man's voice.
"Impressive as always Riley" a man says as the group look over, they see a man wearing a TR uniform having an eye patch on his right eye alongside him are 4 rocket grunts Riley gets an angry look in his eyes and speaks.
"Gozu" Riley says in anger.
"Gozu?" Ash and the others question
"He's a part of the Matori Matrix the best elites in the organization and Gozu's the strongest" Riley says shocking the kids Riley then stands up.
"So, what's the Matori Matrix doing here? Don't tell me Giovanni's scared of kids and is having your team to come and deal with them" Riley says as Gozu smiles.
"Hmph I could care less about the kids the one I'm here for is you" Gozu responds pointing at Riley.
"We were given orders to get rid of you that's what we're going to do Go Aggron!" Gozu says as he sends out a large bipedal Pokemon it has grey and silver armor it gives a mighty roar.
"So that's an Aggron" Ash and Leaf say as they scan it with their Pokedex's
"Aggron, the Iron Armor Pokémon. Aggron is the final evolution of Aron. It shows no mercy to anyone who disturbs its habitat." The Pokedex says.
"So, their target is me" Riley says.
"We'll help you Mr. Riley" Ash says with Gary and Leaf nodding as they get their Pokeball's ready Pikachu jumps forward sparking its cheeks.
"No, I'll take care of things here you 3 go on ahead" Riley says shocking the kids.
"But didn't you say we should stick together?" Leaf asks.
"Yeah, and if we leave it'll be 5 on1 it's not fair" Ash says as Riley speaks.
"Don't worry I've faced these people before I'll easily take care of them and besides the President and Leaf's friend Derek still need to be saved" Riley says with the kids nodding as Gary speaks.
"But will they really let us go?" Gary questions as they look towards Gozu and the other grunts.
"I already told you we've received orders to take down Riley you brats can go on ahead" Gozu says as he points to the stairs.
"Can we really trust his words?" Leaf questions as Riley speaks.
"It's okay while Gozu is evil if there's one thing I've learned about him during our multiple encounters it would be that he's not a liar, using my aura abilities I can sense that he's telling the truth and it seems that up ahead are just more rocket grunts so you should be fine" Riley says with the kids nodding as they and Pikachu quickly run to the stairs they look at Riley one more time he smiles giving them a thumbs up as they turn forward continuing to run upstairs once they're out of view Riley looks at Gozu and gets a serious expression on his face as Gozu smiles.
"There's the face I wanted to see today's the day I defeat you Riley" Gozu says with Aggron roaring the 4 grunts beside him send out their Pokemon consisting of Rhydon, Nidoking, Onix and a Machamp.
"We'll see about that Go Lucario!" Riley says as the blue dog appears its eyes are closed but quickly opens them as it gets into a battle stance it's also wearing a black gauntlet on its left arm that has a stone in it.
"Get rid of them!" Gozu yells ordering the grunts as their Pokemon fire a Stone Edge
"Aura Sphere Lucario!" Riley calls as the dog fires the blue ball of fighting energy it collides with the TR Pokemon's Stone Edge creating an explosion.
"Now Aggron Iron Head!" Gozu calls Aggron roars it covers its body in steel energy and shoots forward.
"Counter with Power Up Punch!" Riley calls Lucario roars as its fist glow orange it charges forward and collides with Aggron creating an explosion.
We now cut away from Riley's battle and go back to the group of Ash, Gary and Leaf they easily defeated all the grunts on the 9th and 10th floors with Pikachu, Persian and Blastoise they're now reaching the 11th floor.
"We're almost there" Ash says with Leaf and Gary nodding as they reach the 11th floor, they don't see anyone.
"It's empty" Ash and Leaf say.
"Don't drop your guard they could be hiding" Gary says with Ash and Leaf nodding they then hear footsteps.
"Someone's coming" Leaf says as the 3 of them and their Pokemon get ready for battle Charmeleon appears from its Pokeball and begins to growl.
"What's wrong Charmeleon?" Ash asks but Charmeleon just stares forward continuing to growl Pikachu then senses an evil presence and begins to spark its cheeks, Leaf's Persian and Gary's Blastoise feel an evil presence as well and get into a battle stance the group then hear a man speak.
"Well would you look at that they've made it all the way up here" The man's voice says as the two appear from the shadows the groups eyes grow wide as Ash, Pikachu, Charmeleon and Gary get angry looks on their faces and yell.
"DAMIAN!" Ash and Gary yell as Damian appears having a smile on his face.
"Hello sons of Red Ketchum and Blue Oak" Damian says smirking.
"So, you're apart of Team Rocket?!" Ash yells
"Why yes after our last encounter my sponsor Proton here allowed me to join the organization" Damian responds as Proton introduces himself.
"Hello there, I'm one of the Team Rocket executives Proton it's great to finally meet the brats that have been messing with our organization" Proton says with a smile as Leaf speaks.
"Wait your Damian? I thought your name was Derek" Leaf asks shocking Ash and Gary
"Yes, Leaf my sweet my name isn't Derek its Damian seeing as you're here you must've been worried for my safety thank you once I'm done taking care of these two, I'll show you around the Silph Co. like I promised" Damian says smiling as Leaf gets angry.
"So, you're the one who abused Ash's Charmeleon when it was a Charmander and now you work in an evil organization that not only hurts people but Pokemon as well I feel dumb for even worrying for you, you're nothing but scum" Leaf says with anger in her eyes looking at Damian as the boy speaks.
"Oh, Leaf don't be like that once we go on our date, you'll change your mind" Damian says shocking Ash and Gary as Leaf gets angrier and yells.
"A DATE?! WHY WOULD I GO ON A DATE WITH SOMEONE WHO HURTS/STEAL POKEMON FROM PEOPLE!" Leaf yells as her Persian growls
"Whoa looks like you really upset her Damian" Proton says.
"What can I say the ladies love me" Damian responds smirking making Leaf angrier he then looks at Charmeleon and gets a disappointed look on his face.
"Hmph, you don't seem like you've gotten stronger I watched your battle with that other Charmeleon and you lost horribly like always" Damian says towards Charmeleon making it angry as Ash speaks.
"Oh yeah how about you battle us right now I'll show you just how strong Charmeleon's gotten!" Ash says in anger with Charmeleon roaring as Damian shakes his head.
"Nah I'm not interested in battling a weak trainer and Pokemon like you, you're not on my level the one I want to battle is him" Damian says pointing to Gary.
"Really you want to battle me don't you remember what happened last time" Gary says in a mocking tone.
"Oh, I remember I remember the humiliation you gave me when we battled so not only have, I joined Team Rocket I've also gained all 8 of the Kanto gym badges" Damian responds smiling showcasing his badges shocking everyone as Ash speaks.
"There's no way you legitimately earned those badges you probably stole them!" Ash says as Proton speaks.
"Actually, you're wrong there Damian did earn those badges I should know since I was there when he got them (though for the final badge the gym leader let him win)" Proton says as he thinks about that last part to himself.
"So, what do you say?" Damian asks Gary thinks for a second and smiles.
"Sure, I'll take you on" Gary says surprising Ash and Leaf as Damian smiles.
"You can't be serious Gary he probably has a trap waiting for you" Ash says.
"Yeah, Gary Ash's right let's just take them down now and rescue the president" Leaf suggests.
"I understand your concerns and you're right this could be a trap, but something is telling me that I should wipe that smug look off his face personally and besides I'm interested in battling a trainer that already has 8 badges he'll be a good warm up before I battle the last 2 gyms, the other strong trainers at the league and whenever I battle you 2." Gary responds as Ash and Leaf nod Damian gets a little annoyed that Gary called him a warmup but shakes it off for now.
"So, what are the rules for this battle?" Gary asks as Damian speaks.
"It'll be a full 6v6 battle with substitutions from both sides whoever defeats all of their opponents Pokemon first will be the winner" Damian says as Gary nods.
"So where will the battle take place, I doubt we're going to battle here" Gary asks as Proton speaks.
"We have a battlefield on the roof of the building you two will battle there come on" Proton says as he and Damian begin to walk up a stairway that lead's them to the roof.
"Let's go" Gary says with Ash and Leaf nodding Gary returns his Blastoise and Leaf returns her Persian Ash keeps Charmeleon out since he feels that Charmeleon wants to watch the battle and they follow Proton and Damian to the roof.
2 minutes later once they reach the roof true to Proton's and Damian's words there is a battlefield, there's an official referee and a spot for Ash and Leaf to sit so they can root for Gary they then see both boys go to their sides of the battlefield with Gary having a serious expression while Damian smiles and begins to laugh.
"What's so funny?" Gary asks.
"Oh, nothing I'm just thinking of what your expression is going to be after you lose, and I take all of your Pokemon" Damian says with full confidence as Gary smiles.
"Please like I'm going to lose to a loser like you" Gary says in a mocking tone making Damian mad.
"If anyone's going to be the loser it'll, be you!" Damian says as he takes out his Pokeball
"Hmph we'll see" Gary says as he also gets a Pokeball ready.
"Go Gary!" Ash and Leaf cheer as Damian looks over to them and thinks.
"Not only will I defeat tyou, but I'll also show Leaf just pathetic you are, and she'll like me instead" Damian thinks to himself as the referee walks over taking his position.
"This is a 6v6 full battle between Gary Oak and Damian whoever knocks out all of their opponents Pokemon first will be the winner if both trainers are ready, you may send out your first Pokemon!" The ref says as Damian goes first.
"Go Machamp let's destroy him!" Damian says as a Machamp appears it has an angry expression on its face.
"A Machamp huh go Hitmontop!" Gary says as the spinning Pokemon appears ready for battle.
"Gary has a Hitmontop?" Ash asks.
"Yep, remember when I was telling you about the fighting dojo in this city both me and Gary took part in it Gary got a Hitmontop while I got Hitmonchan" Leaf says as Ash nods as they turn back to watch the battle.
"You really think a weak little Hitmontop can defeat my Machamp?" Damian asks.
"Yep of course it can" Gary responds smirking annoying Damian as the ref speaks.
"Seeing as both trainers have brought out their Pokemon you may now begin!" The ref says as Damian makes the first move.
"Use Mach Punch!" Damian calls as Machamp is about to shoot forward Gary makes his move.
"Fake out" Gary calls Hitmontop instantly appears in front of Machamp clapping its hands together making Machamp flinch.
"Now Triple Kick!" Gary calls as Hitmontop successfully kicks Machamp 3 times with each kick doing more damage than the last making Machamp skid back to Damian's side of the field injured but it then glows orange as it begins to run around the battlefield.
"So, it has the Steadfast ability" Gary says.
"What's steadfast?" Ash asks.
"It's an ability where if the opponent flinches its speed increases" Leaf says as Ash nods.
"Now Machamp use Drain Punch!" Damian calls as Machamp goes to hit Hitmontop Gary makes a command.
"Use Detect!" Gary calls Hitmontop dodges Machamp at last second and gets behind it.
"Triple Kick!" Gary calls Hitmontop again lands 3 kicks on Machamp injuring it more making the mon stumble as it looks at Hitmontop getting angry with Damian getting angry as well.
"Machamp use Mach Punch!" Damian calls as Machamp shoots forward toward Hitmontop going to punch it.
"Use Double Team!" Gary calls Hitmontop dodges the Mach Punch creating multiple copies of itself surrounding Machamp making the bulky mon confused.
"Destroy all of them with Stone Edge!" Damian commands Machamp yells as it stomps its foot on the ground creating multiple sharp rocks that destroy all of Hitmontop's clones and almost hits the real one, but it jumps high into the air.
"Now use Rapid Spin to increase your speed then use Hi Jump Kick!" Gary calls "Counter with Focus Blast!" Damian calls Machamp begins to charge up the Focus Blast Hitmontop spins heading towards Machamp it then points its knee forward.
"Fire Machamp!" Damian calls Machamp fires the move it collides with Hitmontop but the mon easily breaks thru Focus Blast shocking Damian and Machamp as Hitmontop continues and hits Machamp in the abdomen making it cough in pain as it fall's on its back unconscious.
"Machamp is unable to battle Hitmontop is the winner!" The ref calls.
"Good job Hitmontop" Gary says as the spinning mon nods.
"Way to go Gary!" Ash and Leaf cheer and see Damian return Machamp.
"Useless" Damian says as he grabs his next Pokeball Gary then speaks.
"Are you sure you want to continue I'm just going to beat you again you should just forfeit and turn yourself in to the police" Gary says as Damian looks at him.
"Oh, don't worry that was just a warmup from here on out I'm serious" Damian says getting a serious expression on his face with Gary getting serious too meanwhile in the stands Proton smiles.
"Go Electrode!" Damian calls as he sends out a mon that looks like an upside down Pokeball it has a menacing smile on its face.
"That Electrode looks strong" Ash says with Leaf nodding.
"Let's keep going Hitmontop!" Gary says with the spinning top nodding as the ref speaks.
"Let the battle continue!" The ref calls as Gary makes the first move.
"Rapid Spin!" Gary calls as Hitmontop spins toward Electrode as Damian smiles
"Use Spark!" Damian calls Electrode covers its body in electricity and shoots forward at blinding speed crashing into Hitmontop causing damage sending it flying thru the air.
"Now Thunder!" Damian calls as Electrode fires the large electric bolt at the mon
"Use Detect!" Gary calls as Hitmontop dodges
"Now Spark!" Damian calls as Electrode shoots high into the air hitting Hitmontop again shocking it.
"Kick it away with Triple Kick HItmontop!" "Use Protect then end it with Thunder!" both trainers call as Hitmontop goes to hit Electrode the spinning ball summons a protective barrier blocking the attack it then summons a large Thunder which shocks Hitmontop making it scream out in pain and sending it crashing back on the battlefield creating a dust cloud.
"Hitmontop!" Gary calls in worry as the dust clears Hitmontop is unconscious the ref makes the call.
"Hitmontop is unable to battle Electrode is the winner!" The ref calls.
"Heh take that" Damian says smiling as Electrode lands back on the battlefield.
"Electrode was too fast so Hitmontop couldn't properly counter" Ash says with Leaf nodding as they see Gary returning the spinning top.
"Thanks, Hitmontop" Gary says as he takes out his next Pokeball
"So, you were you saying before that I should give up?" Damian asks in a mocking tone.
"I'll admit I did underestimate you but from here on out I'm serious Go Scizor!" Gary says sending out the red metal bug as it gets into a battle stance.
"Whoa I didn't know Gary got a Scizor!" Ash says in shock.
"Yep, before Gary's gym battle with Sabrina he received something called a metal coat from his sister Daisy to give to his Scyther to hold and help evolve it via trade. We went to the Pokemon center I traded my Graveler so it could evolve into a Golem and Gary traded his Scyther so it could evolve into a Scizor once our Pokemon evolve we traded back" Leaf says as Ash nods.
"A Scizor huh" Damian says the ref calls for the battle to begin Damian quickly makes the first move.
"Electrode Volt Switch!" Damian calls Electrode quickly fires two rings of electricity at Scizor it doesn't do much damage to the bug, but Electrode goes back to its Pokeball as Houndoom comes out giving a loud bark.
"So, you got another fire type" Gary says.
"Of course, I did and its better than that weak lizard over there" Damian responds looking at Charmeleon making the fire lizard growl in anger.
"Don't listen to him Charmeleon your strong" Ash says putting his hand on Charmeleon's shoulder the fire lizard nods as they continue to watch the battle Damian makes his command.
"Now Houndoom Flamethrower!" Damian calls as the hell hound fires the move.
"Counter with Air Slash!" Gary calls as Scizor fires the slashes of wind it collides with the Flamethrower creating an explosion.
"Fire Fang Houndoom!" Damian calls the hell hound heats up its mouth as it runs forward.
"Brick Break Scizor!" Gary calls Scizor quickly flies forward going to collide with Houndoom.
We then see scenes of Yellow with Sabrina's father Steve still floating in Sabrina's mind looking for her, Riley with his Lucario battling the Matori Matrix, Misty and Brock finally making it to the police station having the woman explain what's going on. We then see Giovanni in his office he's currently looking at a big screen watching Riley's and Gary's battles he has a smile on his face.
We then see Scizor and Houndoom collide creating an explosion as the chapter ends.
Ending it on a cliffhanger so unfortunately Ash and Gary's battle is cut short they will battle again but not for a while; how do you think I handled Riley and Yellow's characters? Do you like how I've Riley use his aura abilities? Will Yellow and Sabrina's father manage to help Sabrina? And how will the rest of Gary's and Damian's battle will go.
Next chapter will mainly focus on Gary and Damian's battle it'll come out next week.
