Icesheet helped Mink shape the tail of the last Snow dragon, using her paws to shape the little spikes on the small yet perfect snow sculpture which looked like an exact copy of Mink.
"And, Done!" Icesheet backed up a few steps while Mink stood beside her, her tail flicking while she flapped her small wings in excitement. She then looked up at Icesheet, a large smile on her snout before she began running in circles around Icesheet.
"It's done It's done!" The small Icewing giggled before she spotted her mother, who had come out of the Palace entrance, making her way across the snow-covered ground.
"Mummy, look look!" She ran up to Glacier before she gripped her larger forepaw, letting her little Daughter guide her to where Icesheet and Mink had made the seven Snow dragons.
"They look wonderful Mink" Glacier chuckled when Narwhal came out, making his way over to the three girls. He scanned his eyes over the seven figures, noticing that the smallest one was Mink before he then noticed that they were all in order of height.
Next was Snowfall, followed by Crystal, Icesheet, Glacier, Snowheart, and finally Frostbite. Narwhal had to admit, he was extremely impressed by how quickly the two Princesses had made all seven rather well-detailed figures.
"I must say, these are fantastic. Well done Princess Mink" He looked down at the little Princess, watching her start doing laps around him while she giggled.
"Eberyone loves my snow dwagons!" She chirped loudly, her wings and tail flicking around in a mess of white scales, tripping over a small stone hidden in the snow, making her fall flat on her snout.
"at first shock covered her face, but it quickly gave way to tears that welled up in her eyes. yet before she could start crying, Narwhal gently scooped his Niece, lifting her up before he held her close to his snout, letting her look into his eyes.
"Don't worry, it's just a stone. Let's see that paw" His voice was gentle and soothing, carrying not an ounce of command to it while Mink showed him her little right forepaw, which had a few tiny scales missing while a bit of blue blood seeped from the little cut.
"I'll tell you what, if you be a big strong Icewing, I'll get you an Icecream, How about that" Glacier and Icesheet watched Narwhal talk to Mink, loving the conversation Glacier's Brother was having with his Niece.
Narwhal was about to leave, but before he took Mink to the Royal Medical Wing, he called over two of the most trusted guards, explaining to them that the seven snow dragons Mink had made along with Icesheet, are to be protected at all costs.
"Of course, Your Highness... You three!" She called to the three other guards who were talking to each other. Narwhal trusted them well, knowing that they had at one time or another, protected Mink and even played with her. He felt relieved when he watched them encircle the beautifully designed snow dragons before he left, carrying Mink into the Palace where he brought her up the long set of stairs.
He began his way down the long corridor, turning around corners, and making his way up more stairs before he came up to the entrance that led into the Royal Medical Wing.
"Ah! Your Highness, is everything okay?" Peppermint, who was in the middle of sorting out her herbs asked Prince Narwhal, stopping what she was doing to focus on him.
"Yes, but I must ask. I know you are meant to be Prince Snowheart's Medical healer, but Mink here took a fall, and peeled off the scales on her right forepaw" Mink thrust her forepaw forward, allowing Peppermint to see the now blue blood-covered paw.
"Oh moons! That's a nasty scratch!" Peppermint gently took Mink from Narwhal's grip, carrying her over to one of the Medical beds before she inspected the paw.
"Hmm, everything seems okay. Does it hurt when I do this?" She applied a bit of pressure on Mink's paw which didn't have any cuts on it. Yet Mink let out a yelp of pain, startling both Narwhal and Peppermint, who looked back at Narwhal.
"I think she has either bruised the tissue or broken her paw. Though the former is more likely" Peppermint shook her head lightly, the set of lime-green earrings clinking against her scales sounded rather pleasant while she worked on bandaging up Mink's little forepaw while the little Icewing looked at Narwhal with wide blue eyes.
Meanwhile, Snowheart was following odd sounds that came from the border between the Rainwing Kingdom and the Sandwing Kingdom. He heard at least three male voices, along with what sounded like a feminine one, which sounded like she was struggling.
"Haha, Nice catch boys. We can have some Seawing ass tonight" Snowheart's eyes turned into slits at the mention of Seawing. in an instant, he sprung into action, crashing through the dense forest before he launched himself out of the treeline, letting out a deafening roar before he tackled the largest male Sandwing, who seemed to be about ready to violate the Seawing that he had pinned.
Snowheart spun around, sending the Sandwing he had tackled flying through the air due to him slamming his thick white tail into him. He focused on the two smaller Sandwings who had moved away from the Seaweed-coloured Seawing to move around the Icewing.
"Long way from home aye boy" He focused his eyes on the one to his left, hearing his rather elder-sounding voice, seeing that his body was covered in scars while his eyes roamed over his body. Snowheart then did the same with the Sandwing to his right, looking over his slightly more bulky form before he snarled.
"Don't touch royalty" Snowheart shifted about, getting into a battle stance before the Sandwing to his left charged him, yet Snowheart was quicker, gripping the Sandwing's horns before he flung him through the air, letting go before he crashed into the largest Sandwing who was just getting back up.
He heard someone charging behind him, and so he ducked, watching the third Sandwing go flying over him before crashing into the sandy ground.
"Wow, I am very unhappy with how sloppy you are" Snowheart said, watching as the three Sandwings got up while Snowheart stood in front of the Seawing. He looked behind him, noticing that it was Princess Orca, watching tears stream down her cheeks.
"Thank you, thank you" She whispered to him, seeming to be exhausted before he focused back on the Sandwings.
"Come on then you utter losers" He taunted, showing his fangs as he grinned at seeing their furious faces.
Queen Glory was about the start a meeting with the Seawing royals and her council when a purple Rainwing came rushing in, seeming to panic before he spoke in a very rushed manner.
"Prince Snowheart is fighting three Sandwings who were attempting to have their way with Princess Orca!" He was suddenly shoved out of the way, albeit gently by Queen Coral, who jumped into the air, flapping her wings before banking in the direction where Snowheart and Orca were, following the Rainwing as he flew in front of her.
They got closer and closer. By the time they were able to see the location where Snowheart was, they watched as Snowheart ripped the bottom jaw off one of the smaller Sandwings, before he grabbed the tail of the other smaller Sandwing, slamming his paws together as a loud.
*CRACK*
filled the air, making the group wince while they landed close by, just watching as Snowheart expertly dismantled the group. They also noticed three more Sandwings running up before Cobra hissed softly.
"Burn's forces. Trying to forcefully mate with your daughter?! Disgusting" She spat before she jumped out of the dense forest and charged into battle. Joining Snowheart as she tackled one of the new Sandwings, clawing at his chest which caused blood to bubble up from the fresh wounds.
Coral snapped her gaze to the passed-out form of Orca, her worst fears filling her before she screamed at the top of her lungs, rushing out of the forest while a large patrol of Nightwings and Rainwings crashed through, engaging the Sandwings, who had increased their numbers to ten, minus the one Snowheart had just murdered by shoving his barb down his throat after he ripped his tail off. watching as the Sandwing vomited up blood before he collapsed, twitching while the venom did it's work.
"Get off me, you fucking scaled pigs!" Snowheart spun around, seeing one of the Sandwingds had pinned Cobra, and was about to slit her throat while he remained mounted on her. That was until Snowheart crashed into him, knocking the male Sandwing off her before he grabbed the knife he had dropped, and stabbed it into the Sandwing's chest, watching his eyes widen while blood flowed from his mouth before painting the sand.
He spun back around before he helped Cobra up, letting out a muffled gasp when she hugged him.
"Thank you so much... I was scared he would-" "Shh, it's okay" Snowheart interrupted her, pulling the female Sandwing against him before he broke the hug, tackling another Sandwing who tried to tackle Cobra.
"What the fuck is wrong with these Sandwings? Why are they like this!" He asked Cobra, yet she looked just as confused before she grabbed another Male Sandwing, slitting his throat before letting him fall onto the sandy ground.
"I don't know, But I do know that Burn has a high-priority Nightwing who works for her. He works on different liquids, and I heard about a new one that makes males extremely sexually frustrated!" She explained before she killed another Sandwing who attempted to break her neck. She kicked the now-dead Sandwing off before standing back up.
Coral and a few Nightwings had already brought Orca into the shade, watching as Snowheart, Cobra, Thorn and a few other Nightwings beat back the group of Sandwings, sending them running for their lives. Some had life-changing wounds while at least half the force that had attacked them now lay dead on the sandy ground.
Snowheart noticed that one of the Sandwings was still alive, and so he marched over to him, flipping him onto his back before he proceeded to punch him in the snout over and over again until the Sandwing's snout was covered in blood.
"Where did you come from, Why did you assault Princess Orca... SPEAK YOU RAT!" Snowheart spat, growling while Cobra, Thorn, Glory, Deathbringer and a few others came padding up.
Snowheart felt like ripping this Sandwing apart, yet he felt it would be more beneficial if he brought this Piece of trash back to the village and tie him up.
"Guards, Tie this trash up and Bring him to the Village. There we can interrogate him" Snowheart turned around and went back to the forest, passing Cobra along the way who gave him a gentle nod. Brushing her tail against his before he rushed over to where Coral and the guards had taken Orca.
He crashed through the dense foliage, pushing the green grass and large leaves out of the way before he came across a sobbing Coral. He stopped in his tracks, feeling his heart tighten into a knot before he took a step forward, placing a forepaw on Coral's shoulder.
Coral looked back at him, her eyes bloodshot from her intense crying before she said the one thing that made his stomach drop into the void.
"Orca's not waking up"
Prince Snowheart, you can bring her back if you wish, for you are an Apex Scales, but you must act quickly. Place your forepaw on her chest and say "I enchant Orca to heal and fully recover" Quickly!
Swallow said in a worried fashion, her red tail flicking about before Snowheart did as he was told, placing his right forepaw on Orca's unmoving chest before he closed his eyes. speaking softly.
"I enchant Princess Orca to fully heal and come back to life" At that, he felt a tingling in his paws before Orca coughed up a load of sand. Snowheart quickly picked her up, carrying her bridal style into the large river.
Coral was still sobbing, her eyes covered by her forepaws as she was unaware of what had happened due to her heavy sobbing.
Snowheart held Orca under the water for a few seconds, letting her hydrate herself before he lifted her head out of the water, watching her flutter her eyes open, seeing how weak she was at the moment while he held her against his now-wet body.
"S-s-snowh-heart?" She struggled to speak, nearly passing out once again, yet Snowheart gently dipped her into the water once more, allowing her body to absorb as much water as it needed.
"Relax Orca, you nearly died... Well, you did, but I brought you back" He explained, watching as her bioluminescence flashed unevenly, as if she was struggling to control herself after having been revived by Prince Snowheart.
Snowheart then craned his neck, looking back at Queen Coral before he called for her, telling her that Orca was awake.
at that, Coral entered the river with a splash, moving up beside Snowheart who was still holding Orca. The Seawing Princess seemed to slowly be getting better when she looked at Coral, who let out a half sob half laugh.
"My Orca... I'm so sorry" Coral felt like sobbing once more, yet kept herself strong for her daughters, gently cupping Orca's cheeks before she pressed her forehead against the Princess's forehead.
Snowheart kept still, holding Orca while he watched as Mother and Daughter bonded once more. That was until Coral looked at him.
"H-h-how" Yet Snowheart shook his head before he replied.
"I'll tell you all, though right now, it's best if we remain with Orca, to make sure she gathers enough strength to move on her own" He explained, watching as Coral's gaze flicked down to the water, entering into deep thought for a few seconds before she gave an understanding nod.
"I'll remain with you and Orca until then, but now, just relax" He told both females, looking at Orca mostly before he pressed his own forehead against her while a single tear fell from his right eye and landed on her snout.
