Chapter 44 An Old Friend? And the Final Gym
Hello everyone, this chapter will mainly focus on Ash, Misty and Brock learning about what happened 2 days ago along with Ash taking on his final gym battle. Also, an old Pokemon that was previously released appears again I'm sure you guys can guess who that is. And now let's begin the story.
The chapter begins 2 days after the last chapter ended, during these 2 days the gang have been walking to Pallet Town and are unaware of what happened in the previous chapter. During their walk they hadn't come across any Pokemon Centers or phones Ash also decided to turn off his Pokegear as he wanted to surprise everyone. We now zoom in on the group walking on a pathway Ash looks forward he gets a smile on his face and speaks.
"WE'RE HERE!" "PIKA!" Ash and Pikachu cheer as off in the distance the group see Pallet Town Misty then speaks.
"So, this is Pallet Town" Misty says as Brock speaks.
"Looks like a nice place to live" Brock says with Ash nodding as he speaks.
"Yeah, it is come on I'll take you to my house" Ash says with Misty and Brock nodding as they all run down the pathway going toward the town. We now cut away from the group as we head to Team Rocket headquarters, we see Mewtwo its armor has been fixed it's currently sitting in a dark room by itself. During the past two days Mewtwo has been thinking about Red's words and has been wondering what to do next it also shared its thoughts with the clone Charizard making the fire lizard interested too suddenly the door opens as Giovanni walks in the room the man looks at Mewtwo and speaks.
"Looks like your armor's fixed good I've a new assignment for you and Charizard now that we've gotten rid of Red Ketchum we'll storm into Pallet Town and kill the rest of his friends and family" Giovanni says having an evil smile on his face Mewtwo looks at him and speaks.
"Tell me is that all you want me to do?" Mewtwo asks as Giovanni looks at it and speaks.
"No, there's more after that we'll travel the world getting rid of more people that are associated with Red then we'll find my son Silver have him join the organization then Team Rocket will be the strongest organization in the world" Giovanni responds as Mewtwo speaks.
"I see… so that man was right you only view me as a tool for your own ends and never cared about showing me what my purpose in life is" Mewtwo says Giovanni looks at Mewtwo and speaks.
"Of course, you're a tool you were created by my scientist to be my Pokemon you've no free will of your own" Giovanni responds making Mewtwo mad it glows blue giving off an intimidating aura Giovanni then speaks.
"Whoa there you're not planning on defying me, are you? because if you are then you know what will happen" Giovanni says as he presses a button and suddenly multiple Ghost/Dark type Pokemon appear glaring at Mewtwo Giovanni smiles then speaks.
"As you can see if you plan on escaping here then I'll have these Pokemon attack and then weaken you to the point where I'll use this Master Ball and catch you without fail" Giovanni says holding the ball forward Mewtwo looks at the ball he smiles and speaks.
"You capture me? Hehehehahahahaha" Mewtwo laughs shocking Giovanni as he speaks.
"You dare laugh at me you think I'm joking!" Giovanni yells in anger Mewtwo then stops laughing he looks at Giovanni and speaks.
"Okay then use the ball on me right now I won't put up any resistance if it works, I'll continue to obey you no questions asked so let's see whether it'll capture me or not" Mewtwo says looking at Giovanni the man smiles and speaks.
"Fine then I can't wait to see how stupid you look when I fully capture you Now Go! MasterBall!" Giovanni yells he throws the ball hitting Mewtwo. Mewtwo's successfully sucked inside the ball, the ball falls on the floor but it doesn't shake a few seconds go by Giovanni looks at the ball smiles and speaks.
"Hahahahaha see that it worked now you'll have to forever obey!" Giovanni says having an evil smile on his face but he then here's a crack he looks forward and sees the Masterball cracking it continues to crack as Mewtwo appears out of the ball shocking Giovanni as he speaks.
"No, it can't be that should've worked we tested it HOW DID YOU BREAK FREE?!" Giovanni yells as Mewtwo looks at him and speaks.
"You're right about the fact that the Masterball can capture any Pokemon when I saw your scientist make more and use them to successfully capture Pokemon I grew worried thinking it would work on me. But then I realized something do you want to know what that is?" Mewtwo asks, looking at Giovanni as he continues to speak.
"It's that you've made the mistake of making me the world's strongest Pokemon so NO BALL SHALL CAPTURE ME!" Mewtwo yells as his eyes glow blue with anger shocking Giovanni as he yells.
"ALL OF YOU FIRE YOUR GHOST AND DARK ATTACKS!" Giovanni yells as the ghost and dark types fire their moves as they're about to hit Mewtwo suddenly the clone Charizard bursts through the walls and summons a big hurricane protecting Mewtwo. It easily destroys all the attacks and hits the Pokemon easily knocking them out Giovanni has a shocked look on his face and speaks.
"No how could this be?!" Giovanni says to himself as Nanba calls Giovanni, Giovanni quickly turns on the device and speaks.
"Nanba What's Going On?! Why is Charizard Here?!" Giovanni yells as Nanba speaks.
"I'm sorry sir suddenly Charizard just started attacking out of nowhere most of our grunts are injured from trying to stop it and it destroyed all of the Masterball's we made." Nanba responds shocking Giovanni the man then looks at Mewtwo and Charizard Giovanni gets mad and yells.
"YOU TWO AREN'T GOING ANYWHERE!" Giovanni yells, he presses a button that brings out multiple robots. They try to attack the two clones, but Mewtwo easily destroys the robots with Psychic he looks at Giovanni and speaks.
"You humans created us but we're not human nor Pokemon we're clones AND WE STAND ALONE!" Mewtwo yells as its body glows in a blue aura Giovanni quickly runs away as Mewtwo and Charizard shoot out from the ceiling flying high into the air leaving the TR base. The Ghost/Dark type Pokemon that were captured by Team Rocket all quickly make a break for it too. Matori along with the executives quickly run to Giovanni Matori then speaks.
"Giovanni sir are you okay?!" Matori asks she goes to touch the man's shoulder, but Giovanni knocks her hand away shocking her along with the executives Giovanni looks at them and yells.
"WHAT A STUPID THING TO SAY OF COURSE I'M NOT OKAY OUR 2 STRONGEST POKEMON WE CREATED ESCAPED AND YOU'RE ASKING ME IF I'M OKAY?!" Giovanni yells with Matori and the executives terrified at him Giovanni then speaks.
"HOW?! How could this have happened?!" Giovanni says he begins to think back two days ago to Red talking to Mewtwo Giovanni then speaks.
"Of course, even when he's dead Red always finds a way to anger me but now that he's gone, I know what to do next" Giovanni says as Matori looks at him and speaks.
"What's our next plan sir?" Matori asks as Giovanni speaks.
"Ash Ketchum is currently getting gym badges, right? Then I'll battle him showcase just how superior I am to him then kill him" Giovanni says he then looks at Matori and speaks.
"Matori send out an invitation to Ash Ketchum so that he comes to challenge me" Giovanni orders with Matori nodding she goes to leave as Giovanni speaks.
"Archer, Proton, Petral, Arianna you along with some other grunts we're heading to the gym to wait for Ash Ketchum's arrival" Giovanni says with the 4 adults nodding they begin to walk with the man as Giovanni speaks.
"Soon Ash Ketchum just like your father you'll be dead" Giovanni says having an evil smile on his face. We now go to Mewtwo (its armor is completely gone) and Charizard they've landed on an abandoned Island with destroyed machinery everywhere Mewtwo then speaks.
"This is the place where I was born, we'll use this as our base of operations to create our clone army and showcase just how superior we are" Mewtwo says with the clone Charizard roaring in agreement Mewtwo looks at the sky as we now go back to Ash's group.
5 minutes later we see Ash, Misty and Brock, they've entered Pallet town and are currently running to Ash's house. When the building comes into view Ash gets a big smile on his face and speaks.
"There it is my house!" Ash says happily as when they get closer Ash with Misty and Brock behind him quickly run to the door Ash opens it and yells.
"MOM WE'RE BACK!" "PIKA!" Ash and Pikachu say happily but get no response he walks inside and speaks.
"Mom, Sabrina, Litten, Rowlet, Rockruff, Sprigatito, Mr. Mime where are you?" Ash asks but still gets no response Misty then speaks.
"Do you think they went out shopping?" Misty asks as Ash speaks.
"No, I don't think so I'm getting a bad feeling" Ash responds with Pikachu agreeing Brock then speaks.
"Maybe they're at Prof. Oak's lab let's head there" Brock says with Ash nodding they leave the house and quickly run over to Prof. Oak's lab.
5 minutes later they make it to the lab Ash quickly opens the door and speaks.
"Mom are you-" When Ash opens the door he sees Prof. Oak, Daisy, Gary, Rose, Blue, Lorelei, Bruno, Agatha, Lance, Looker, Yellow, Riley, Flint (Brock's dad), Platinum and Leon they all look at Ash, Misty and Brock as Prof. Oak speaks.
"Ash you're here thank goodness" The old man says as Ash speaks.
"Um what's going on do you know where my mom is?" Ash asks as Rose speaks.
"Come with me I'll take you to her" Rose says with Ash nodding he along with Misty follow the woman Brock stays behind he looks at his dad and speaks.
"Dad what're you doing here?" Brock asks as Flint speaks.
"It's a long story" Flint says as he begins to tell Brock what happened we cut over to Ash and Misty following Rose to where Delia is. When they open the door, they see not only Delia but also Leaf both are laying in their beds with Mr. Mime sitting in a chair next to Delia Ash then speaks.
"Mom! Leaf!" Ash exclaims he quickly runs over to his mom while Misty goes to Leaf, she looks at her and speaks.
"Leaf what happened to you?" Misty asks as Leaf speaks.
"Giovanni is what happened, when me and Gary went to the Viridian City gym to get our final badges Giovanni revealed himself to be the final gym leader." Leaf responds shocking Misty and Ash as Leaf continues to speak.
"That's not all after we got our badges, we faced the Pokemon that took over Ms. Sabrina's mind and stood no chance against it. I was the first to lose then Gary lost soon afterwards as the mon fired a Shadow Ball towards Gary, I got in the way of it blocking the attack and now I'm lying in bed" Leaf responds as Misty speaks.
"How were you able to escape?" Misty asks as Leaf speaks.
"My, Floragato evolved into a Pokemon called Meowscarda he knocked away Mewtwo and got us to safety" Leaf responds with Ash and Misty nodding Leaf then looks at Togepi and speaks.
"Misty that Pokemon you're holding did it hatch from your egg?" Leaf asks as Misty speaks.
"Yes, it is I didn't get the chance to tell you when you called before this is Togepi" Misty responds as Togepi looks at Leaf the girl smiles and speaks.
"It's cute" Leaf says smiling with Togepi and Misty smiling too Ash then speaks.
"What about my mom why is she unconscious?" Ash asks as Rose speaks.
"That's something else you should know come on let's go back to where everyone else is" Rose says with Ash and Misty nodding Ash looks at his mom one more time and leaves. When they make it back to where everyone is Ash and Misty look at Brock, they can see that he has a shocked look on his face. Before Ash and Misty can ask him what's wrong Blue then speaks.
"I bet you're wondering why your mom is currently in a coma" Blue says Ash nods and speaks.
"Yes, I am and where's my dad? Shouldn't he be here too?" Ash asks but then everyone gets sad looks on their faces as Ash speaks.
"Why do you guys have sad looks did something happen to my dad?" Ash asks as Sabrina speaks.
"Ash, I hate to say this, but we currently don't know where your father is" Sabrina says shocking Ash as he speaks.
"What do you mean you don't know where my dad is?!" Ash yells as Blue speaks.
"I'm going to tell you, but I need you to stay calm and listen okay" Blue says having a serious look on his face Ash nods as Blue speaks.
"It all started 2 days ago" Blue says as he begins to tell Ash about how his team along with Red went to Tojo Falls and Mt. Silver. He tells Ash how as they were looking for the base, they lost contact with Red then all of a sudden, a Charizard with Red markings appeared and battled them. Blue tells him that as he and Lance were battling the Charizard it suddenly left then as the cave was collapsing Yellow sent out a distress signal to Sabrina to save them. When they made it to Delia's house, they told her that they lost communication with Red and Sabrina is unable to sense where he is causing Delia to have a melt down and pass out shocking Ash, Pikachu and Misty Blue then speaks.
"And that's everything" Blue says as he looks at the shocked Ash, Pikachu and Misty Blue then continues to speak.
"The following day Platinum and Leon appeared as they could feel something bad happened to Red and Flint just got here today" Blue says with the 3 adults nodding Misty then looks at Ash she can see how angry he is as Ash speaks.
"There's no way….. There's no way my dad is dead!" Ash yells in anger as Blue speaks.
"We're in agreement we don't believe he's dead either but-" Blue says as Riley speaks.
"When we went to Mt. Silver to search for Red even with my aura along with Sabrina's and Yellow's psychic abilities, we were unable to find any traces of Red anywhere" Riley says shocking Ash as he speaks.
"No…." Ash says he puts his head down as Pikachu, Misty, Sobble, Quaxly, Togepi and Brock look at Ash and are sad Sabrina then speaks.
"But we do have some good news we were able to finally pinpoint Team Rocket's main base we're going there today to put a stop to them" Sabrina says Ash looks at her and speaks.
"Please take me with you!" Ash says having a determined look in his eyes as Blue speaks.
"Sorry Ash I'm going to decline" Blue says shocking Ash he gets angry and yells.
"But why! I've proven to be a strong trainer and I've been training my Pokemon hard too I know we can be useful and pull our own weight!" Ash yells with Pikachu nodding as it sparks its cheeks Blue then speaks.
"Yes, Ash I know you're a strong trainer you've proved that by winning the SS. Anne Tournament and battling/defeating many strong trainers/Pokemon on your journey, but I can't authorize you to come this time as it's too dangerous" Blue responds with the other adults nodding Ash gets angry and yells.
"FINE THEN IN THAT CASE I'LL STORM INTO TR HQ BY MYSELF LET'S GO PIKACHU!" Ash says with Pikachu nodding before he opens the door Platinum gets in his way Ash looks at her gets and yells.
"Out of the way!" Ash yells as Platinum speaks.
"No, you should listen to Champion Blue as you are right now, you're far too weak for this" Platinum says staring into Ash's eyes making the boy angry as he yells.
"I DON'T CARE! GIOVANNI AND TEAM ROCKET HAVE DONE TOO MUCH HARM TO MY FAMILY OVER THE YEARS NOW THAT WE'VE FOUND THEIR BASE YOU WANT ME TO STAY BEHIND AND DO NOTHING?!" Ash yells staring into Platinum's eyes as tears fall from his eyes everyone looks at Ash having sad looks on their faces except for Platinum she has a stoic look on her face she gives a sigh and bends down getting on Ash's eye level and speaks.
"I know you're frustrated I'm frustrated too Master Red is also very important to me he helped train me when I was young and made me into the trainer I am today" Platinum says as Ash speaks.
"But I'm his son I should go avenge my father!" Ash responds as Platinum speaks.
"But would your father want that?" Platinum asks having a serious look on her face Ash looks at her and begins to think his father wouldn't want him to put himself in danger also his mom is currently in a coma Ash looks at Platinum and speaks.
"Your right he wouldn't want that" Ash says Platinum smiles and speaks.
"Now that you understand please put your faith in us we'll make sure to defeat Giovanni and avenge Master Red" Platinum says having a confident smile on her face as Ash nods. Everyone looks at them and smile Blue then speaks.
"Come on let's go" Blue says with the adults nodding they all head outside when they do Blue looks at Rose and speaks.
"So, you're coming too huh?" Blue asks as Rose looks at him.
"Of course, I am I need to teach Giovanni a lesson in pain" Rose responds having anger in her eyes Blue nods as he speaks.
"Okay are you guys ready?!" Blue asks looking at Rose, Yellow, Riley, Flint, Lance, Lorelai, Bruno, Agatha, Looker, Leon and Platinum they all nod Blue looks at Sabrina and speaks.
"Okay Sabrina we're ready" Blue says as Sabrina speaks.
"Okay everyone hold hands and I'll teleport us to Mt. Silver" Sabrina says with the adults nodding they all grab each other's hands getting ready to head out Ash then speaks.
"You guys' better win" Ash says having a determined look on his face the adults look at him and nod Sabrina's eyes then glow purple as they all disappear and arrive on Mt. Silver in an instant Leon looks at Platinum and speaks.
"That was a good thing you did stopping Master Red's son from coming with us" Leon says as Platinum looks at him.
"Of course, it was a good thing Master Red would never allow his family to be put in danger so I his number one apprentice took it upon herself to stop him" Platinum says smiling as Leon speaks.
"Number 1 apprentice? But I'm pretty confident that I'm his number 1 student and I'm stronger than you" Leon responds Platinum looks at him and speaks.
"Please you're not stronger than me I can battle circles around you" Platinum says in confidence making Leon interested as he speaks.
"Really now? Interesting after we're done with this let's have a battle, I'm curious in seeing how strong you've gotten" Leon says having an excited smile on his face with Platinum also having an excited smile Agatha looks at them and speaks.
"Will you two focus!" Agatha says looking at Platinum and Leon the two adults say sorry Agatha sighs Blue looks at Sabrina and speaks.
"So, this is Team Rocket's base after all this time we've finally found it" Blue says with Sabrina nodding as she speaks.
"Yes, also I don't sense Mewtwo's or the clone Charizard's presence anywhere they seem to be gone for now," Sabrina says with Blue nodding as Looker speaks.
"Then this means it's the perfect opportunity for us to strike" Looker says with everyone nodding they grab their Pokeball's and stare at the large base in front of them Blue then speaks.
"Blastoise Come out!" Blue says bringing out the water turtle everyone then follows suit sending out their Pokemon. Yellow sends out Raichu, Lorelai sends out Lapras, Bruno sends out Machamp, Agatha sends out Gengar, Lance sends out Dragonite, Riley sends out Lucario and mega evolves it. Looker brings out his Drapion, Flint sends out his Steelix, Sabrina sends out her Alakazam (she teleported back home to grab it), Rose sends out Venusaur, Platinum brings out her shiny Torterra and Leon brings out his black Charizard. All the Pokemon give a mighty roar Blue then takes a deep breath and speaks.
"CHARGE!" Blue yells as he and everyone else run forward. Meanwhile inside the base we see Cassidy and Butch they along with other rocket grunts are at the entrance Cassidy then speaks.
"Aw I'm bored" Cassidy says with Butch agreeing with her as he speaks.
"After we took care of Red and dealt with those three idiots we've just been stuck here and are now about to do clean up duty" Butch says with Cassidy nodding as she speaks.
"Hopefully something exciting happens today to make the day go by faster" Cassidy says when she does suddenly the doors to the entrance burst open Cassidy, Butch along with the other rockets get shocked looks on their faces as they see Blue walk out of the smoke and speak.
"Team Rocket you're all under arrest!" Blue states with his team having serious looks on their faces the grunts immediately send out their Pokemon to combat them as Leon speaks.
"Looks like they want to fight" Leon says smiling as Blue speaks.
"Well then let's give them a fight ATTACK!" Blue commands as he and everyone else begin to battle the rocket grunts creating explosions everywhere. Cassidy and Butch are currently hiding Butch looks at Cassidy and speaks.
"What should we do Cassidy?!" Butch asks as Cassidy speaks.
"Simple we're getting out of here and heading to the Johto region we should have some hidden bases there" Cassidy says with Butch agreeing as they go to leave Cassidy pushes a button which activates multiple robots that appear in front of Blue's team Rose looks at them and speaks.
"Robots huh" Rose says as Sabrina speaks.
"We'll take care of this come on Yellow" Sabrina says with Yellow nodding the two women step forward and hold out their hands. They both glow in purple and yellow energy respectively and speak.
"Break!" The two women say as they send out a psychic wave that easily destroys most of the robots Sabrina looks at Yellow and speaks.
"Looks like you've gotten better" Sabrina says smiling with Yellow smiling too they then continue to battle the rocket grunts. Cassidy and Butch are shocked that most of the robots were easily destroyed they then quickly leave the base and head towards the Johto region when they do Flint gives a command.
"Steelix Iron Tail!" Flint calls his Steelix roars it covers its tail in steel energy and easily knocks multiple Rhydon's away Rose and Platinum then speak.
"Leaf Storm!" Both women call Venusaur and Torterra roar they summon a storm of leaves and easily knock away multiple Pokemon Leon then speaks.
"Charizard use Flamethrower then Air Slash!" Leon calls his Charizard roars it fires the flames from its mouth defeating multiple Machamp's its wings then glow and fires the slashes of wind at Fearow's instantly knocking them out. Everyone keeps battling as one of the grunts manages to send out a distress signal as we go to the Viridian City gym, we see Matori her device is beeping she looks at it and speaks.
"Giovanni sir we've received a distress signal from the base it seems Blue's team have infiltrated and started to attack. Also, Sabrina along with Flint, Platinum and Galar champion Leon are with them too" Matori says Giovanni then speaks.
"I see in that case tell Gozo and the rest of the Matori Matrix to head over there" Giovanni says with Matori nodding before she goes Giovanni then speaks.
"Oh, before you go Matori did you send Ash Ketchum the message?" Giovanni asks with Matori nodding making Giovanni get an evil smile on his face. We now come back to Oak's lab currently Ash along with Pikachu and Mr. Mime are sitting next to the unconscious Delia while Misty, Brock and Gary are sitting next to Leaf they look at him as Leaf speaks.
"Ash is really hurting right now" Leaf says as Gary speaks.
"Yeah, his mom is unconscious, and his dad is missing" Gary says as Brock speaks.
"I wish there was something we could do for him" Brock says as Misty begins to think she gets an idea she walks over to Ash and speaks.
"Hey Ash, I just thought of something that'll make you feel better" Misty says, catching Ash's attention he looks at her and speaks.
"Okay what is it?" Ash asks curiously as Misty speaks.
"Your Pokemon of course you haven't seen them yet, they must be really looking forward to seeing you again" Misty responds this gets a smile on Ash's face he stands up and speaks.
"You're right Misty I haven't seen my Pokemon yet let's go" Ash says smiling with everyone smiling as well before they leave Ash looks at his mom one more time, he then looks at Mr. Mime and speaks.
"Please keep watching over her Mr. Mime" Ash says with the Mime nodding as Ash along with Misty, Brock, Gary and Leaf (who's using crutches) leave the room to go see Ash's Pokemon. When they make it outside Ash takes out 5 Pokeball's and throws them in the air.
"Come out!" Ash says the Pokeball's open as Fuecoco, Tyrunt, Pawniard, Corvisquire and Snorunt appear. When they do, they all stretch out their muscles Ash then looks at Pikachu and speaks.
"Hey Pikachu, can you fire a Thunderbolt towards the sky to alert my other Pokemon" Ash asks with Pikachu nodding it sparks up its cheeks and yells.
"Pika… Chu!" Pikachu yells sending out a big Thunderbolt towards the sky sending out a signal to all of Ash's Pokemon they look at it then quickly head over. Pikachu then stops firing the Thunderbolt Ash looks at Pikachu telling him great job with Pikachu nodding Gary then speaks.
"Did all of your Pokemon see that, Ash?" Gary asks Ash looks at him and speaks.
"Yeah, they definitely did" Ash responds when he does everyone then hear Pokemon roaring they look forward and see all of Ash's Pokemon running/flying towards them with Charizard (Dratini's on Charizard's head), Gyarados, Pidgeot, Clefable (holding Ash's Pokemon eggs), Wartortle, Ivysaur, Alolan Raichu, Alolan Ninetales, Muk, Gengar, Primeape and Kingler leading the charge Ash gets a big smile on his face and yells.
"EVERYONE!" Ash yells happily waving to all of his Pokemon with Pikachu, Fuecoco, Tyrunt, Pawniard, Corvisquire and Snorunt doing the same. Seeing the amount of Pokemon Ash has Misty, Brock, Gary and Leaf quickly back away as they see all of Ash's Pokemon crash into him knocking him to the ground and hug him Ash then laughs.
"Hahahahaha I'm happy to see you guys too!" Ash says happily as his Pokemon hug him affectionately Pikachu walks over to Raichu, Shinx, Growlithe, Wartortle and Ivysaur he gives them high fives. Fuecoco and Tyrunt are happy to see Gible, Totodile and Krokorok again, Corvisquire happily flies around with Ash's other flying types. Pawnaird fist bumps Charcadet and Treeko. Snorunt is happy to see Darumaka and Ninetales again as Brock, Misty, Gary and Leaf are looking at Ash's Pokemon Leaf then speaks.
"Whoa Ash has a lot of Pokemon" Leaf says as Misty nods and speaks.
"Yeah, he's certainly caught a lot" Misty responds with Brock nodding then Misty's Sobble and Quaxly go over to interact with Ash's Pokemon. When Quaxly and Totodile see each other again they immediately start to break dance with Pikachu, Wartortle, Charcadet, Treeko (Treeko usually has a cool personality, but it doesn't mind dancing every now and then) Tinkatuff, Grookey, Sobble, Dratini, Heracross, Gengar and Flygon joining them. Three of Brock's Pokeball's then open up as his Vulpix, Kangaskan and Klawf appear they also go to interact with Ash's Pokemon Vulpix's happy to see Ninetales and Ivysuar while Kangaskan's happy to see Clefable the baby Kangaskan goes to join the other Pokemon that are dancing. Klawf walks over to Ash's Kingler and happily greets it with Kingler doing the same, Misty looks at Togepi and speaks.
"Do you want to join them Togepi?" Misty asks with the spike ball nodding Misty puts Togepi on the ground Pikachu walks over to Togepi and grabs it by the hand. Pikachu brings Togepi over introducing it to all of Ash's Pokemon who all say high to it making Togepi happy as it begins to join the others dancing too. As the kids are watching the Pokemon play Gary then speaks.
"Ashy boy has really captured some powerful Pokemon" Gary says looking at Charizard, Gyarados, Primeape, Hitmonlee, his 4 Tauros, Pidgeot, Flygon, Clefable and Scyther the others nod as Ash is looking at his Pokemon he sees Litten, Rockruff, Rowlet and Sprigatito walk over to him he looks at them and speaks.
"Hey, are you guys, okay?" Ash asks as the four mons tell Ash that they feel terrible that Delia is in a coma Ash looks at them and speaks.
"It's fine I'm just happy you guys were there in case something much more horrible happened to her I know you guys are worried, but my mom is strong she'll wake up soon" Ash says smiling the four-mons smile too as Ash speaks.
"Now go play with everyone else" Ash says with the four-mons nodding as they go to join the others as most of Ash's Pokemon formed a conga line (Charizard, Gyarados, Scyther, Primeape, Hawlucha, Farfetch'd and even Hitmonlee are participating) Litten, Sprgatito, Rowlet and Rockruff happily join Ash looks at his Pokemon and smiles Clefable then speaks.
"Clef, Clef" Clefable says Ash looks at the pixie who's holding the two eggs Clefable hands her trainer the two eggs Ash looks at them smiles and speaks.
"Hey Riolu, Froakie I told you guys that I would see you again" Ash says smiling the two eggs glow happy to see their trainer again as the Pokemon keep playing with each other everyone then hears a voice.
"Deli, Deli!" The voice echoes everyone stops what they're doing as they look at the sky; they see something head toward Ash it lands in front of him as Ash speaks.
"Who's this Pokemon?" Ash questions as he along with Leaf and Gary take out their Pokedex's to scan the mon.
"Delibird, the Delivery Pokémon an Ice/Flying Type. Delibird's most unique attack is giving presents. However, some of these presents have been known to explode. Sometimes, Delibird's presents can actually restore energy to its opponents." The Pokedex says Misty, Brock, Gary and Leaf walk over to Ash as Misty speaks.
"What do you think it wants Ash?" Misty asks but Ash doesn't know Brock then speaks.
"Look it's pulling something out of its bag" Brock says they see the bird pull something out of the bag it's a letter the bird hands it to Ash, but Brock takes it as Ash is carrying his two eggs Delibird then flies away when the bird is gone Ash looks at Brock, he sees him open the letter and speaks.
"What does it say Brock?" Ash asks as Brock is reading, he gets a shocked look on his face as Brock looks over at his friends and speaks.
"This letter is from Giovanni" Brock responds shocking the 4 kids as Misty speaks.
"Giovanni? what does he want?!" Misty asks as Brock speaks.
"Well in the letter it says that he's requesting for Ash to come to the Viridian City gym so that they can have a gym battle" Brock says shocking the group as Leaf speaks.
"He wants to have a gym battle with Ash?" Leaf says as Gary speaks.
"It has to be some sort of trap" Gary says the group nod Misty then looks at Ash and speaks.
"What do you want to do Ash?" Misty asks the boy looks at his friends and speaks.
"Simple I'm going to go to the Viridian gym and battle Giovanni" Ash responds shocking his friends as Gary speaks.
"Are you sure Ash what if he's going to use Mewtwo against you? You won't stand a chance" Gary says as Ash speaks.
"That's true if that was the case then I probably would decline but I get the feeling that he doesn't have Mewtwo with him" Ash responds as Leaf speaks.
"What makes you think that?" Leaf asks as Ash speaks.
"Well, if he had Mewtwo with him then he wouldn't have sent me a message requesting a battle he probably would've just came here himself with his army" Ash responds with the group nodding as Brock speaks.
"That does make sense" Brock says as Misty speaks.
"But Ash this is Giovanni we're talking about last time you lost to him are you sure you can win this time?" Misty asks as Ash speaks.
"You know after encountering Giovanni I wondered if I could ever beat him but during these 2 months, I've been training hard my Pokemon and I are not the same as before so Yes I believe that this time We'll Win!" Ash states having a determined look on his face his all of his Pokemon behind him have the same look and roar in agreement. Misty, Brock, Leaf and Gary look at Ash and his Pokemon they smile as Misty speaks.
"Okay Ash, we'll believe in you and cheer you on" Misty says with Brock, Leaf and Gary nodding Gary then speaks.
"So, which Pokemon are you planning to take with you?" Gary asks as Ash speaks.
"I'm taking Pikachu, Gyarados, Charizard, Ivysaur, Primeape and the last one will be-" As Ash is about to choose his last one, he then hears a voice.
"Free, Free!" The voice echoes Ash, Pikachu, Misty and Brock know that voice they along with Ash's Pokemon, Leaf and Gary look to the sky as they see Ash's Butterfree along with the Pink Butterfree flying towards them. Ash gets a big smile on his face he hands Misty his Pokemon eggs as he along with Pikachu quickly run over to the two Butterfree's ash then yells.
"BUTTERFREE!" "PIKA!" Ash and Pikachu say as Butterfree gives a happy 'FREE!" and crashes into both of them tackling them into the ground Ash looks at Butterfree and speaks.
"Butterfree you're here me and Pikachu missed you!" Ash says with Pikachu nodding both have tears in their eyes with Butterfree having tears too they hug then Ash stands back up letting Butterfree go. The Pink Butterfree goes next to her husband Ash looks at her and speaks.
"I'm happy to see you again too thank you for taking care of my Butterfree" Ash says with the pink Butterfree nodding then Gyarados, Pidgeot, Clefable, Ivysuar, Wartortle, Charizard, Kingler, Raichu, Ninetales, Gengar and Muk appear they all look at Butterfree as Butterfree looks at them Ash then speaks.
"Oh, right after you left everyone else grew a lot stronger and some have even evolved" Ash says as Butterfree flies towards its old teammates and hugs them with the others hugging it back happy to see Butterfree again. Primeape, Gengar and Kingler have tears comedically fall from their eyes with Butterfree having tears fall from its eyes too Butterfree then notices Misty, Brock, Leaf and Gary it then flies over to them going to Misty first she looks at it and speaks.
"It's really you I've missed you Butterfree!" Misty says hugging the Butterfly with Butterfree hugging her back, Butterfree then goes to hug Brock and Leaf too for Gary it nods with Gary doing the same Butterfree then looks at Ash's other Pokemon as Ash speaks.
"And these guys are new friends I captured after you left, they're all friendly" Ash says with Butterfree nodding as it along with the pink Butterfree go interact with Ash's new Pokemon Misty, Brock, Leaf and Gary walk next to Ash as Leaf speaks.
"I can't believe your Butterfree came back" Leaf says as Ash speaks.
"Me neither but I knew I was going to see it again" Ash responds as Misty speaks.
"Why do you suppose it came back?" Misty asks but Ash doesn't know as Brock speaks.
"Maybe it sensed that you were in trouble and wanted to help you" Brock says the others nod Ash then looks at Butterfree interacting with the rest of his Pokemon he walks over to it and speaks.
"Butterfree will you battle with me again?" Ash asks as Butterfree looks at him Ash then continues to speak.
"You see it's finally time for my final gym battle and it's going to be up against a very dangerous man I was thinking of the perfect team to use against him with and I think you'd be great as he wouldn't expect you. So, what do you say Butterfree do you want to battle with me one more time?" Ash asks looking into the Butterfly's eye's Butterfree doesn't hesitate it gets a determined look on its face and nods agreeing to battle with Ash again Ash smiles and speaks.
"Alright let's do our best Butterfree!" Ash says with Butterfree nodding Gary then speaks.
"This is great and all but how're we going to get pass my grandpa and sister?" Gary asks, making the others think they then hear Prof. Oak's voice.
"It's fine" Oak says the group look at the old man they see him walking over to them Ash looks at Oak and speaks.
"Are you sure Professor? Champion Blue and the others will get mad at you" Ash asks as the old man speaks.
"It's fine you've become a much stronger trainer since the start of your journey I'm confident you'll be able to handle yourself but in case something bad happens I'm still going to send Daisy with you" The old man responds as Daisy appears. The group look at Daisy she's not wearing her lab coat instead she's wearing a brown T shirt with brown shorts, has a pair of goggles on her head, wearing running shoes, and is wearing brown gloves she looks at everyone and speaks.
"Alright I'm ready!" Daisy says having a confident smile on her face the 5 kids look at her having shocked looks on their faces Brock then gets hearts in his eyes he quickly runs over to Daisy grabs her right hand gets on one knee and speaks.
"Oh, Daisy this must be fate we're going to a dangerous place to battle evil people but I your knight in shiny armor Brock shall protect you I'll make sure no harm comes to you" Brock says looking into Daisy's eyes making her confused Leaf then speaks.
"You know it's been a while since I've seen Ms. Daisy in casual clothes" Leaf says as Gary speaks.
"He's hitting on my sister. I think I'm going to be sick" Gary says as Brock continues to look into Daisy's eyes Croagunk appears from its Pokeball and jabs Brock in the butt with Poison Jab stunning him Brock falls on the ground and speaks.
"If there's one evil, I can't defeat it would be you" Brock says as Croagunk begins to pull Brock away Ash looks at Daisy and speaks.
"So, you're coming with us Ms. Daisy are you sure?" Ash asks as Daisy speaks.
"Yep, I'm sure I may not look it but like my Gramps, dad and Gary I'm also a skilled Pokemon trainer" Daisy says having a confident smile on her face Gary then speaks.
"I hate to admit it but Daisy's right she's skilled before me and Leaf went to the Viridian gym Daisy, and I had a battle and I almost lost" Gary says shocking Ash, Misty and Brock as Oak speaks.
"So, as you can see Daisy can hold her own in battle and when things get dangerous, she'll make sure to protect you" Oak says with the gang nodding Daisy then walks over to Ash she grabs something from her pocket and speaks.
"Here's Butterfree's Pokeball Ash you'll need it" Daisy says handing Ash the ball Ash thanks Daisy he then looks at Butterfree and speaks.
"Okay Butterfree let's do this" Ash says with Butterfree nodding the Butterfly then goes inside its Pokeball Ash then returns Gyarados, Ivysaur, Charizard and Primeape to their Pokeball's Pikachu then climbs on Ash's shoulder as he then speaks.
"Okay I'm all ready" Ash says with the others nodding Oak then speaks.
"I'll stay here to keep watch over your mom and Pokemon good luck Ash me and your Pokemon are rooting for you" Prof Oak says as in the background Ash's other Pokemon roar in agreement cheering for their trainer and teammates. Misty then hands Brock Ash's Pokemon eggs she picks up Togepi walks over to Clefable and speaks.
"Clefable will you take care of Togepi please? I don't want to take it to a dangerous place" Misty asks with Clefable nodding Misty hands Togepi over, Togepi then looks at Misty as Misty speaks.
"Now Togepi you've to promise me that you'll be good and not cause any trouble for Prof. Oak or the other Pokemon at the lab" Misty says with Togepi nodding. Misty smiles as Sobble and Quaxly get on Misty's shoulders Brock then hands Prof. Oak Ash's Pokemon eggs he returns Vulpix, Kangaskan, Croagunk and Klawf to their Pokeball's as Daisy takes out a Pokeball and throws it.
"Come on out Aerodactyl!" Daisy says as the fossil mon appears it gives a mighty roar sending out a shockwave the group look at Daisy's Aerodactyl as Ash speaks.
"Whoa! I didn't know you had a Aerodactyl Ms. Daisy" Ash says as Daisy speaks.
"Yeah, it mostly hangs out in the mountains of the ranch sleeping in a cave, but this situation calls for me to use it it's won me many battles and has trained with Mr. Ketchum's Aerodactyl so it's not only strong but fast and will get us out if anything bad happens" Daisy responds with the group nodding Daisy then gets on Aerodactyl's back she looks at the group and speaks.
"Okay climb on if you're ready" Daisy says with the group nodding Gary gets on first with Leaf getting on next, then Brock as Ash is about to get on next Misty looks at Ash and speaks.
"Ash let's finally put a stop to Team Rocket" Misty says with Ash nodding he then gets on Aerodactyl's back with Misty getting on last Daisy looks at her grandpa and speaks.
"Okay Grandpa we're heading out!" Daisy says with Oak nodding Daisy looks forward puts on her goggles and speaks.
"Okay Aerodactyl let's go!" Daisy says the fossil mon gives a mighty roar, it flaps its wings and flies high into the air heading in the direction of Viridian City Prof. Oak then speaks.
"GOOD LUCK AND STAY SAFE!" Oak says as Aerodactyl disappears from view the old man looks at Ash's Pokemon they're sitting down and are still looking forward as Oak speaks.
"I'm guessing you're all going to wait here until they come back?" Oak asks with the mons nodding Oak smiles he then puts the Riolu and Froakie eggs next to Clefable and speaks.
"I'll head inside and keep watch over Delia with Mr. Mime" Oak says with Ash's Pokemon nodding when the old man leaves Ash's Pokemon along with the Pink Butterfree continue to look forward waiting for their trainer along with his friends to safely return.
1 minute later the group make it to Viridian City Aerodactyl land's next to the gym and lets the humans off Daisy looks at Aerodactyl and speaks.
"Thank you Aerodactyl you're as fast as ever take a rest I'll call you back out when I need you" Daisy says with the fossil mon nodding it goes back inside it's Pokeball Daisy puts her goggles back on her head as Ash looks at the gym and speaks.
"So, this is the Viridian City gym" Ash says as the group look at the big building Brock then speaks.
"This is it Ash your final gym battle" Brock says as Misty speaks.
"I'm confident that you're going to win" Misty states with Sobble, Quaxly, Gary, Leaf and Daisy nodding Ash smiles as he and everyone else walk forward when they're at the entrance of the gym they see two men they look at the group and speak.
"State your business with the gym" The two men ask as Ash speaks.
"My name is Ash Ketchum of Pallet Town I've come here to battle and defeat the gym leader Giovanni" Ash says having a determined look in his eyes the two men smile and speak.
"The gym leader was expecting you, you along with your friends can enter" The two men say as the doors to the gym open Ash looks at his friends and speaks.
"Okay guys let's go" Ash says with his friends nodding they walk through the door entering the building when they do the doors close behind them making the room dark, but they continue to walk forward Misty looks at Sobble she sees it shaking in fear Misty then speaks.
"It's okay Sobble I won't let anything bad happen to you" Misty says with Quaxly agreeing Sobble nods as it stops shaking the group continue to walk forward until they see a battlefield the lights then suddenly turn on everyone looks forward, they see some rocket grunts along with the executives, Matori and the man himself Giovanni. Giovanni looks at the group he's not interested in anyone else he looks at Ash and speaks.
"You've finally arrived I was getting tired of waiting spawn of Red and Delia Ketchum" Giovanni says looking at Ash as Ash and Pikachu look at him. Misty and Brock look at Giovanni from just a glance alone they can feel just how evil he is as Misty speaks.
"So, that's Giovanni by just looking at him I can tell just how dangerous and evil he is" Misty says with Brock agreeing Ash then walks forward he looks at Giovanni takes a deep breath and speaks.
"Giovanni, I came here to challenge you to a gym battle!" Ash states having a determined look in his eyes with Pikachu sparking its cheeks Giovanni looks at Ash and smiles. We now cut away from the Viridian City gym and come back to Blue's group who've infiltrated Team Rocket's main base they're all battling hard defeating and arresting multiple Team Rocket grunts we see Lorelai as she speaks.
"Uh it's never ending they keep coming one after the other" Lorelai says as her Lapras takes down a horde of Golbat Bruno then speaks.
"That should be expected this is Team Rocket's main base after all" Bruno responds as his Machamp defeats multiple Rhydon with Close Combat Looker and Flint have the same thoughts as Agatha speaks.
"If you have time to complain then you've time to continue fighting take a look at the ones in front of us, they're still going" Agatha says looking at Yellow, Riley, Lance, Sabrina, Rose, Platinum, Leon and Blue they're easily wiping out multiple Team Rocket grunts Platinum then speaks.
"Torterra Stone Edge!" Platinum calls her grass turtle roars it summons the sharp stones and defeats multiple Golbat Platinum smiles and speaks.
"Yes, and that's 150!" Platinum cheers as Leon speaks.
Charizard Flamethrower!" Leon calls his Charizard fires a Flamethrower defeating multiple Persian's and Victreebell's Leon smiles and speaks.
"That's 151 good job Charizard" Leon says with Charizard nodding Platinum looks at Leon gets angry and speaks.
"Torterra use Leaf Storm!" Platinum calls her Torterra fires the storm of leaves defeating multiple Pokemon she smiles and speaks.
"That's 160!" Platinum says and gives a smug look towards Leon the man looks at her as Leon speaks.
"Charizard Air Slash!" Leon calls his Charizard roars and fires the slashes of wind easily defeating multiple Team Rocket Pokemon he smiles and speaks.
"That's 170!" Leon says and smiles at Platinum, making her mad the two look at each other having fire in their eyes as Platinum speaks.
"Torterra we're not losing to them keep going!" Platinum says with Torterra roaring in agreement Leon looks at Charizard and speaks.
"We're not losing either Charizard!" Leon says with Charizard roaring as it along with Torterra charge defeating more Pokemon Flint looks at them and speaks.
"Are they really having a competition on who can defeat more Pokemon right now? Flint asks with Yellow and Riley nodding we now look at Sabrina, Rose, Lance and Blue they've defeated multiple rocket grunts as well Sabrina then speaks.
"Even though we've been causing havoc neither Giovanni nor the executives have shown themselves" Sabrina says with the other 3 nodding Rose then speaks.
"You don't think he went somewhere to hide, do you?" Rose asks as Lance speaks.
"No, I don't believe so, but it is strange as we've mostly been dealing with grunts and some admins but none of the executives are here what do you think Blue?" Lance asks before Blue can respond he sees a Flash Cannon head towards him and quickly gives Blastoise a command.
"Blastoise use Hydro Pump!" Blue calls the blue turtle quickly fire's the stream of highly pressurized water it collides with the steel beam creating an explosion they then hear a voice.
"That was some impressive reaction speed it's no wonder why you're the champion" the voice says as Riley speaks.
"That voice it's Gozo!" Riley yells as Gozo along with the other members of the Matori Matrix make themselves known having hordes of Rhyperior, Skunktank, Toxicroak, Tentacruel, Machamp Alolan Raticate and Persian with them and in the middle is Gozo with his Aggron Blue looks at them and speaks.
"So, Giovanni sent in more lacky's to face us but unlike the others you all look like you'll give us a challenge though compared to a champion like me you stand no chance" Blue says being cocky as Rose rolls her eyes Gozo smiles and speaks.
"Hmph you truly believe it'll be easy to defeat us well think again as me along with my men have grown a lot stronger!" Gozo says as he pulls out a necklace with a stone on it Riley looks at it and speaks.
"Is that a Key Stone?!" Riley says in shock as Gozo smiles and speaks.
"Yes, it is after our last encounter the boss rewarded me with this keystone and a mega stone to defeat you now Aggron Mega evolve!" Gozo says his Aggron roars the keystone and the mega stone on Aggron glow the lights connect as Aggron begins to change form. Aggron becomes bulkier, it grows steel blades on its arms when the evolution stops what was once a normal Aggron is now a Mega Aggron it gives a mighty roar sending out a big shockwave Blue looks at it and smiles as Gozo speaks.
"With this power I'll defeat you!" Gozo says as Riley speaks.
"We won't let you let's go Lucario!" Riley says with Lucario nodding as Blue speaks.
"Hold on Riley let me take this one" Blue says shocking Riley as he speaks.
"Are you sure?" Riley asks as Blue speaks.
"Of course, I'm sure I'm the champion of Kanto and besides this one looks like it could give Blastoise a good workout" Blue responds with Blastoise nodding Riley sighs and speaks.
"Fine I'll let you deal with him" Riley says with Blue nodding he looks at his opponent as Gozo speaks.
"Are you not going to mega evolve your Blastoise? there's no way you can defeat my mega Aggron without Mega Evolving your Blastoise" Gozo says having a confident smile on his face as Blue speaks.
"Please why should I waste mega evolution on you my Blastoise in base form is more than enough to take down your Aggron" Blue responds having a confident smile on his face making Gozo mad as he speaks.
"We'll see about that Aggron Iron Head!" Gozo calls his Aggron roars it covers its body in steel energy and charges forward as Blue speaks.
"Blastoise Waterfall!" Blue calls his Blastoise covers its body in water and shoots towards Aggron the two mons collide creating an explosion they then skid back as Blue speaks.
"Now Hydro Pump!" Blue calls Blastoise roars it fires the large stream of water as Gozo speaks.
"Use Thunder!" Gozo calls Aggron roars it fires the large electric bolt forward it easily destroys the Hydro Pump as it's about to hit Blastoise Blue calls for his next command.
"Blastoise Gyro Ball!" Blue calls Blastoise covers its body in steel energy it spins and easily deflects the Thunder Gozo then speaks.
"Aggron Heavy Slam!" Gozo calls Aggron covers its body in steel energy it jumps towards the still spinning Blastoise as Blue calls for his next command.
"Blastoise Focus Blast!" Blue calls "What?!" Gozo says in shock he's unable to tell Aggron to dodge as Blastoise fires the ball of fighting energy hitting Aggron causing an explosion it flies back landing below Gozo's feet groaning in pain Blue then speaks.
"So, do you want to give up or do you still want to battle?" Blue asks having a confident look on his face making Gozo mad he tells Aggron to get up with the mon doing so he then calls for his next move.
"Aggron use Iron Head!" "Blastoise Waterfall!" Both trainers call the two mons roar they charge at each other and collide creating an explosion.
We now cut away from the battle in Team Rocket's base and come back to the Viridian City gym where we see Ash and Giovanni still staring at each other Ash then speaks.
"So, are we just going to keep staring at each other? or are we going to battle" Ash asks Giovanni smirks and speaks.
"Just like your father you're always in such a hurry" Giovanni says making Ash mad as Giovanni continues to speak.
"But you're right let's get this over with" Giovanni says he goes to his side of the battlefield with Ash going to his Archer then takes the referee position and speaks.
"This is a 6v6 full battle against the Viridian City gym leader Giovanni and Ash Ketchum of Pallet Town whoever defeats all of their opponents Pokemon first will be declared the winner and both the gym leader and challenger are allowed to make substitutions!" Archer says shocking Ash and his friends as Misty speaks.
"The gym leader is also allowed to make substitutions? but that's not fair!" Misty says as Brock speaks.
"I hate to say this Misty but it's completely fair as long as Giovanni's the gym leader he can make up any rules he wants" Brock says with Misty nodding they continue to look at the battlefield as Ash speaks.
"So, you're going to be switching out your Pokemon too huh? What are you terrified that you can't defeat me without switching?" Ash asks in a mocking tone Giovanni looks at him and speaks.
"Hmph don't get full of yourself of course I can defeat you without having the need to switch out my Pokemon just think of this battle as what you're going to face in the league as both trainers are allowed to switch their Pokemon" Giovanni responds Ash grits his teeth knowing Giovanni's right the man then grabs a Pokeball and speaks.
"Now then shall we begin? Go Golurk!" Giovanni says bringing in the giant Titan Pokemon when it appears it shakes the battlefield and gives a mighty roar almost blowing Ash and Pikachu back Ash looks at it and speaks.
"A Golurk huh? Well, I've the perfect counter Gyarados I choose you!" Ash says bringing in the sea serpent it gives a mighty roar sending out a shockwave it stares at its opponent with Golurk staring back Giovanni looks at Ash's Gyarados and speaks.
"So, you're sending in your Gyarados how predictable" Giovanni says as Ash speaks.
"Let's do this Gyarados I'm counting on you!" Ash says with the sea serpent roaring as Archer speaks.
"Now that both trainers have sent out their Pokemon you may now begin!" Archer says as Giovanni speaks.
"Seeing as you're the challenger I'll let you have the first move" Giovanni says as Ash speaks.
"Thanks, I was going to make the first move anyway Gyarados Hydro Pump!" Ash calls Gyarados roars it fires the big stream of water at Golurk Giovanni then speaks.
"Golurk destroy it with Thunder Punch then Stone Edge!" Giovanni calls Golurk electrifies its fist and punches the Hydro Pump easily destroying it Golurk then stomps its foot on the battlefield summoning the sharp rocks they head towards Gyarados as Ash calls for his next command.
"Gyarados counter with Aqua Tail!" Ash calls Gyarados roars it covers its tail in water and destroys the Stone Edge when it does Golurk appears in front of Gyarados as Giovanni speaks.
"Now Thunder Punch!" Giovanni calls "Gyarados use Ice Fang!" Ash calls when Golurk goes to hit Gyarados the sea serpent quickly covers its teeth in ice and collides with the Thunder Punch creating an explosion. Both Golurk and Gyarados skid away from each other Giovanni calls for his next command.
"Golurk Thunderbolt!" Giovanni calls Golurk fires the bolt of electricity as it's about to hit Gyarados Ash calls for his next commands.
"Gyarados destroy it with Crunch then use Hydro Pump!" Ash calls Gyarados bites down on the Thunder Bolt easily destroying it and fires the Hydro Pump as it's about to hit Golurk Giovanni speaks.
"Golurk use Phantom Force!" Giovanni calls "Phantom Force?" Ash questions as he sees Golurk suddenly disappear dodging the Hydro Pump surprising Ash and Gyarados Ash then speaks.
"Gyarados be careful Golurk can appear from anywhere!" Ash says with Gyarados nodding it ready's itself as Giovanni speaks.
"Now Golurk!" Giovanni calls as Golurk appears above Gyarados it quickly falls forward and punches the sea serpent on the head making it crash on the battlefield shocking Ash as Giovanni speaks.
"Now pick up Gyarados by the tail and slam it on the ground!" Giovanni calls before Ash can make a command Golurk grabs Gyarados's tail lifts it up and slams it hard on the ground making Gyarados cry out in pain as Ash speaks.
"Gyarados use Hydro Pump!" "Golurk use Phantom Force!" Both trainers call when Gyarados fires the Hydro Pump again before it hits Golurk the ghost titan disappears it then reappears behind Gyarados and punches it in the face making Gyarados skid back a few feet as Ash speaks.
"Gyarados Aqua Tail!" Ash calls Gyarados shoots forward as it goes to hit Golurk with its tail Giovanni calls for Golurk to use Phantom Force again making Gyarados miss and allowing Golurk to hit Gyarados again making both Ash and the sea serpent angry while Giovanni smiles in the stands Brock speaks.
"This is bad if things keep going like this Gyarados is going to go down without landing a single hit on Golurk" Brock says as Gary speaks.
"There has to be some way for him to counter Phantom Force" Gary says while Misty, Sobble, Quaxly, Leaf and Daisy continue to cheer for Ash and Gyarados on the battlefield Ash begins to think on what he can do.
"This is bad if things keep going like this Gyarados will go down there has to be a way for Gyarados to counter the Phantom Force" Ash says to himself he begins to think he gets an idea and smiles he looks at Gyarados and speaks.
"Gyarados I just thought of a way for you to counter Phantom Force!" Ash says with Gyarados nodding Giovanni smiles and speaks.
"Even if you have an idea my Golurk will crush your Gyarados now use Phantom Force!" Giovanni calls Golurk quickly disappears before it reappears behind Gyarados as it goes to punch the sea serpent Ash smiles and speaks.
"Gyarados use Bounce to dodge then Aqua Tail!" Ash calls before Golurk can hit Gyarados the sea serpent quickly glows blue it jumps in the air dodging Golurk's attack it then comes crashing back down hitting Golurk on the head with Aqua Tail making the large titan fall on the ground groaning in pain shocking Giovanni as Ash smiles in the stands Brock speaks.
"I see so by using the speed of Bounce it allows Gyarados to dodge the Phantom Force in time then counter Brock says with the others nodding back on the battlefield Giovanni speaks.
"You little brat Golurk use Stone Edge!" Giovanni calls Golurk fires the sharp stones at Gyarados as Ash calls for his next commands.
"Gyarados use Hydro Pump then Dragon Dance!" Ash calls Gyarados fires the stream of water it destroys the Stone edge and hits Golurk causing super effective damage to it Gyarados then spins increasing both its attack/speed Gyarados gives a mighty roar as Giovanni speaks.
"Golurk Phantom Force then Thunder Punch!" Giovanni calls Golurk quickly disappears and re appears above Gyarados it covers its fist in electricity as it's about to hit Gyarados Ash calls for his command.
"Gyarados use Bounce then Iron Head!" Ash calls shocking Giovanni Gyarados glows blue it shoots towards Golurk instantly the ghost titan tries to hit Gyarados with Thunder Punch, but the sea serpent dodges Gyarados then covers its head in steel energy and hits Golurk on the head causing damage to it Ash then speaks.
"Now knock it back down with Aqua Tail!" "Golurk use Thunder Punch!" Both trainers call Gyarados covers its tail in water and goes to hit Golurk. The ghost titan sees the attack coming but can't form the Thunder punch as it's flinching shocking Giovanni Gyarados hits Golurk with its tail knocking it back on the battlefield. Golurk groans from pain but Giovanni tells Golurk to stand back up Gyarados then lands back on the battlefield as Ash speaks.
"Now Waterfall!" Ash calls Gyarados shoots forward, it covers its body in water heading towards Golurk Giovanni then speaks.
"Counter with Thunder Punch!" Giovanni calls Golurk electrifies its fist and collides with Gyarados the two mons collide creating an explosion they skid back as Giovanni calls for his next command.
"Golurk Hyper Beam!" "Dodge Gyarados then use Bounce!" Both trainers call Golurk fires the big orange blast at Gyarados the sea serpent easily dodges Gyarados then glows blue it shoots forward and hits Golurk making the ghost titan cough in pain it skids back a few feet as Ash speaks.
"Now finish it with Hydro Pump!" Ash calls Gyarados roars as it fires the big blast of water at Golurk Giovanni quickly calls for his command.
"Golurk Phantom Force!" Giovanni calls when Golurk goes to use the move its body is then covered in electricity as it's now paralyzed shocking Giovanni Ash smiles and speaks.
"GO! GYARADOS!" "PIKA!" Ash and Pikachu cheer as Gyarados's Hydro Pump consumes the ghost titan Golurk cries out in pain as it hits the wall behind Giovanni. Golurk then falls on the battlefield showing no signs of standing back up Archer grits his teeth in anger and speaks.
"Golurk is unable to battle Gyarados is the winner!" Archer calls Ash, Pikachu and Gyarados cheer they're happy to get the first win Ash's friends cheer too. Giovanni looks at Golurk he has anger in his eyes he returns the ghost titan he looks at the Pokeball and speaks.
"Useless" Giovanni says in anger Ash looks at him but doesn't say anything he looks at Gyarados and speaks.
"Great job Gyarados I'll return you for now" Ash says with Gyarados nodding it goes back inside its Pokeball as Giovanni speaks.
"You're not keeping your Gyarados out?" Giovanni questions as Ash speaks.
"Nope my next one should be able to take down your next Pokemon Primeape I choose you!" Ash says bringing the pig monkey in it punches its fist together and is excited to battle again Giovanni smiles and speaks.
"So, your Primeape's next then this one should be able to easily take it down Go! Toedscruel!" Giovanni says he throws the Pokeball forward what appears is a Pokemon that looks like a Tentacruel but it resembles a Mushroom Ash, Leaf and Gary take out their Pokedex's to scan it.
"Toedscruel the Woodear Pokemon a Ground/Grass Type and the evolved form of Toedscool. It coils its 10 tentacles around prey and sucks out their nutrients, causing the prey pain. The folds along the rim of its head are a popular delicacy" The Pokedex says the group look at the mon as Leaf speaks.
"So, my Toedscool is going to evolve into that one day" Leaf says with the others nodding Ash looks at the mon and speaks.
"I don't know much about this Pokemon but I'm confident that Primeape can win let's do this Primeape!" Ash says with Primeape nodding while Giovanni smiles Archer calls for the battle to continue as Giovanni calls for the first move.
"Toedscruel use Sludge Bomb!" Giovanni calls the Woodear Pokemon takes a deep breath and fires multiple bombs of sludge towards Primeape Ash then speaks.
"Primeape dodge and when you get close use Ice Punch!" Ash calls Primeape nods it dashes forward easily evading all of the Sludge Bombs when it's close to Toedscruel it covers its fist in ice and goes to hit it as Giovanni speaks.
"Now Dazzling Gleam!" Giovanni calls shocking Ash before he can tell Primeape to dodge Toedscruel glows in fairy energy sending out a bright light at the incoming Primeape hitting the pig monkey making it soar through the air and come crashing back down Ash looks at it and speaks.
"Primeape are you okay?!" Ash asks with Primeape nodding it quickly stands back up, but that Dazzling Gleam did hurt in the stands Gary speaks.
"Giovanni knows that Ash's Primeape is a Pokemon that mainly makes direct contact with his opponents he drew Primeape close and called for Dazzling Gleam catching both Ash and Primeape off guard" Gary says with the others nodding Giovanni then speaks.
"Now Toedscruel use Sludge Bomb!" Giovanni calls the Mushroom Pokemon fires the bombs of sludge at Primeape as Ash speaks.
"Primeape dodge!" Ash calls Primeape quickly dodges the Sludge Bombs when it does Toedscruel immediately appears in front of Primeape shocking the pig monkey as Ash speaks.
"Primeape Ice Punch!" "Toedscruel use Screech!" Both trainers call when Primeape goes to punch Toedscruel the mushroom Pokemon lets out a loud ear-piercing screech making Primeape stop to cover its ears it can feel that its defenses have lowered Giovanni smiles and calls for his next command.
"Now Giga Drain!" "Dodge Primeape!" Both trainers call as Primeape tries to get away Toedscruel quickly grabs Primeape with its tentacles and begins to squeeze it sucking out its energy making Primeape cry out in pain in the stands Brock speaks.
"Primeape's going to lose if Ash doesn't do something fast" Brock says as Misty, Leaf and Daisy cheer for Ash Giovanni looks at the boy he has an evil smile on his face and speaks.
"It's over for your Primeape" Giovanni says looking at Ash who's currently trying to think of a way for Primeape to break free he then remembers his battle with Bea and how Primeape was in a similar situation it's in now Ash smiles and speaks.
"We're not done yet Primeape use Thrash!" Ash calls Primeape gives a mighty roar it starts to thrash about making it harder for Toedscruel to hold onto Primeape as Primeape manages to break free shocking Toedscruel and Giovanni. When Primeape lands on the battlefield it shoots forward and starts to punch/kick Toedscruel repeatedly it punches Toedscruel one more time making it crash below Giovanni's feet. Giovanni looks a Toedscruel it can still battle but Giovanni is surprised that, that one Thrash did a lot of damage to it he holds out its Pokeball and speaks.
"Toedscruel return" Giovanni says returning the mon Ash then speaks.
"Way to go Primeape!" Ash cheers with Primeape nodding it then becomes confused Ash smiles he takes out Primeape's Pokeball and speaks.
"Primeape return" Ash says with Primeape nodding it goes back in its Pokeball to rest when Ash grabs his next Pokeball Giovanni then speaks.
"I'll admit you've done well in our battle so far but now going forward you won't stand a chance" Giovanni says as Ash speaks.
"I don't think so after our last encounter my Pokemon and I have become stronger we're going to defeat you and get our final gym badge!" Ash states with Pikachu nodding Giovanni looks at Ash's eyes and sees Red Giovanni gets angry and speaks.
"Those eyes of yours remind me too much of your father I'll make sure you suffer the same fate he did" Giovanni says as Ash speaks.
"Well bring it on!" Ash responds back as they both throw their Pokeball's sending out their next Pokemon.
"Ivysaur I choose you!" "Destroy them Seismitoad!" Both trainers say the two mons appear on the battlefield when they do they get into battle stances awaiting their trainers' commands. We now cut back to Mt. Silver inside Team Rocket's main base and see Blue's team battling and defeating a lot of Team Rocket grunts as well as the Matori Matrix they're all fighting hard as we now come back to the Viridian City gym Archer calls for the battle to continue as Ash and Giovanni give their commands.
"Ivysaur Razor Leaf!" "Seismitoad Sludge Bomb!" Both trainers call their Pokemon fire their moves everyone watches on seeing who'll win the battle before the moves collide the chapter comes to an end.

A lot of things happened in this chapter Mewtwo along with the clone Charizard were able to escape Team Rocket headquarters, Ash and friends found out what happened two days ago, Blue's team have infiltrated Team Rocket headquarters and are taking down the grunts. Butterfree returned and now Ash is facing Giovanni in order to get his final gym badge.
Tell me, did you guys guess right that Butterfree would return? I decided to bring Butterfree back as I thought it would be nice to have the first Pokemon Ash caught battle alongside him and help get his final gym badge. Were you guys surprised to learn that Daisy is a strong trainer too? I decided to do this as it makes since for there to be an adult with Ash, Misty, Brock, Leaf and Gary and if things go bad Daisy can use her Aerodactyl to get the gang out of the gym safely.
Next chapter will come out tomorrow it'll mainly focus on Ash's gym battle with Giovanni will Ash be able to defeat Giovanni and get his final badge? Well, you'll all find that out in the next chapter.
