Emily wasn't uncontrollably sobbing anymore... so... that was a blessing, she supposed. It had easily been a couple of hours at this point, and, frankly, Emily had grown too tired and too dry in both her throat and mouth to keep crying. And so, the three had moved to the bed, at some point. Lucifer was propped up on the head, his legs straight ahead of him, and Emily laid alongside him, her legs curled up somewhat, and her head resting on his chest, as she brothe, steady but shakily so. Lucifer gently stroked the top of her head. Vaggie was on the other side of the bed, and was rubbing the other girl gently on the shoulder as she laid.

Emily finally let out a sigh, and sat up. She stretched her arms up and over her head, before her hands back down and shaking them rapidly, letting out a dramatic, 'bleeeeeh.'

"Ugh," she said, "I feel so much, better." She showed a smile that was genuine enough, if not a little tired. She looked at Lucifer. "Thank you..." She then looked over her shoulder at Vaggie, gingerly placing a hand over hers. "Both of you."

Vaggie felt a warmth in her face she... didn't think she should be feeling. But she cleared her throat, and brought herself to smile at the girl with all the genuine kindness she could muster. "Of course, Emily." This elicited a happy sigh from the other angel as her smile briefly broadened.

Lucifer smiled the same. "Don't mention it, kiddo. I'm glad we could help, a little." Emily smiled warmly toward him as well.

Emily moved over to the side of the bed, and managed to get off. That is, before suddenly doubling over as soon as she got to her feet. "Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, f-frick! OW!" She fell to her knees. Both Lucifer and Vaggie sprung up from the bed, both falling down to kneel by her side as she kneeled, gripping her stomach.

"Woah, woah, you okay?" Lucifer said, putting a hand on her back.

"Y- yeah..." He gave her a look and a raised eyebrow that said, 'please be honest.' "I mean it!" She assured. "I just think... maybe all of that, um, screaming and sobbing wasn't good for my, um, injury..."

The other two angels helped her get back into bed. "I'll go get you some pain-killers. You, just... try and rest for a few minutes, at least."

Emily sighed dramatically, before smiling at the other gray-skinned woman, giving a tiny snicker. "Okayyy... Thanks, Vaggie."

Vaggie rolled her eyes, and sighed. "You really are a lot like her. Different, too. But shockingly similar." She chuckled as she left the room, and so did the other woman laying atop the comforter.

Lucifer, standing by the bed, turned back to look at Emily. "You want me to stay here with you, kid?"

"Actually..." Emily thought for a second. "I think I'd like a couple minutes to myself... Just to... compose a little, I guess." She laughed, humorlessly so, under her breath.

"I can understand that. If you need me, just'a come a hollerin'" He smiled at her. "I'll be out of the hotel until dinner time. I've got a couple of things I need to deal with today... But! I'll be back by then. Take care of yourself, kiddo." And with that, he disappeared in a small twister of devilish energy, and Emily watched as he did so. She then let out a sigh, and plopped her head back on the pillow. The conversation did help... but that didn't mean she was just better. Or that she didn't still have a ton to think about.

"Vaggie!" Charlie said, flagging down Vaggie as she spotted her coming the opposite direction to he in the hallway. She looked to her with concern. "So... How is she?"

Vaggie smiled at her girlfriend. "She's... better. She's having some pain right now though, I was gonna go get her some medication. I think we have some in our bedroom."

"That... make sense," Charlie said, looking toward her toes. "I- I was just worried... it's been a couple of hours. I just wanted to make sure that everything was okay." Charlie smiled warmly at her partner, and Vaggie returned the expression.

"I'd expect nothing less." Vaggie quietely chuckled under her breath, and looked to Charlie sweetly. "Everything's... as good as it can be right now. I think she wants to spend some time alone, for now."

Charlie gave her own dry laugh. "That's very fair..."

Vaggie stood on her toes to give the taller woman a kiss on the cheek. "You're really sweet, Charlie." Vaggie gave her partners hand a squeeze before slowly letting their fingers slip apart as she continued to the bedroom. "I'll be with you in just a bit."

Vaggie gently knocked at the door, hearing a response shortly after.

"Vaggie?" The angel's voice sounded out, still just a bit raspy from having cried just a bit earlier.

"Yeah," the other angelic woman responded, gently opening the door thereafter. To the best of her abilities, at least: both of her hands were full, after all.

Vaggie entered the room, putting a glass of water on the nightstand next the bed, as well as the small bottle of pain medication. Emily smiled at her, gently taking the bottle and drawing a couple pills from it. "Thank you so much, Vaggie."

"Of course. Is there anything else you need right now?" Vaggie smiled at her, gently. Wmily fiddled her hands.

"Um... y-yeah, actually, can I ask you something?" She quickly followed up with, "But you can't tease me for it, okay?!"

Vaggie gave a breathy chuckle. "Yeah, sure. What's up?"

"Um... H-how do you take a pill?" The angel blushed. "I-I've never needed to... have one before... they don't even exist in heaven, not to my knowledge, at least..."

It was true the extent of medicine in heaven was... lacking. If not for the sole reason as, in the perfect afterlife, there's no sickness and no pain. The excorcists where the only ones who truly needed any actual medical attention, and that was very rarely. Until recently, nobody would have thought a demon could hurt an angel. So, the available medical care was only really for the rare occasion an angel were to hurt herself. And, Emily, not knowing about the exterminations, likely wouldn't have known about that either.

"I, uh... yeah, sure," Vaggie chuckled again.

"I said no teasing!" Emily glowered at her. Vaggie waved a hand.

"I'm not, it's just, y'know..." Vaggie grasped for the words for a second. "It just wasn't the type of question I was expecting. But, yes, of course, lemme try and show you..." Vaggie walked over to the bed and sat on the edge of it. She held out a hand, and Emily put the two pills she had taken into it.

"Okay," Vaggie started, "what you're gonna want to do, is just pop these in your mouth, you can do one at a time, and then just swallow." She followed up quickly with, "you can also sip a bit of water if that helps you.

"Okayyy..." Emily drawed, giving the medication a sort of look that one would usually expect to see if somebody smelt something foul. Emily gingerly took the two pills from Vaggie's hand, and popped one with her mouth, taking a sip of water after she did so. She promptly gagged, before chugging a bunch more water. After some unsavory choking sounds that elicited Vaggie to gently put a hand on her back in concern, Emily took in a gasp of air, and hic-urped.

"Oh my god that is AWFUL!!!" She stuck out her tongue dramatically for emphasis. "Why would you ever take one of those, that's so horrible! I don't even feel better!" It was now that Vaggie full on laughed at her, turning her face away and covering her mouth. Her theatrics were very Charlie, in a way that tickled her heart but she also couldn't help but be humoured by.

She said between trickling laughs. "Well, it's gonna take a bit, Emily, give it a few minutes. As for the gagging and choking, it'll get easier as you do it more." As Emily sighed, she added, leaning in for effect: "can I tell you a secret?"

Emily perked up an eyebrow and smirked. "Sure. As long as it's not at anyone's expense." She added that last part as she realized she wasn't to privy to the idea of talking about others behind their backs.

"Charlie usually cuts hers in half."

Emily snickered, covering her mouth politely. "That's a good idea. I might have to try that too."

Vaggie gently laughed with her, before standing off the bed. "Well, I remember you saying you wanted some space, so, I'll leave you alone for a while. If you want anything for lunch, by the way, me and Charlie are gonna order something in pretty soon, you can toss in a vote. You didn't touch anything at breakfast..."

"I wasn't... hungry?" Emily's eyebrow raised. Of course, during her time in heaven, she had eaten before, many times. Food was certainly enjoyable. But up there... she had never felt unappetized, nor particularly hungry, either. She would spend busy days before, completely forgetting to eat in general.

Vaggie shrugged, and smiled. "Makes sense, considering... everything. It... would be good if you ate today... it might seem weird at first, but, in Hell, you might find you start needing for a lot of things. Food, water, sleep... I did, when I fell."

"Oh... weirddd..." Emily grimaced, looking back it her. "How do you guys ever get anything done??"

Vaggie chuckled. "It's not that bad. You get used to it." She continued heading toward the door, turning back to her in the doorway. "Alright, I'll get out of your hair."

"Oh, now, I wouldn't say you're in my hair." Emily said, grabbing what was left in her glass off the nightstand. "But thank you. I appreciate it."

"Of course." Vaggie smiled. She began to close the door, but... stopped, for a second. She looked at Emily as she took a sip, daintily so, from her water, before gently stretching back ralling back her shoulder blades, and sighing. The late morning light gently splashed through her hair and feathers, and illuminated the fine, soft details of her face, and all the faintest hints of peach fuzz. Vaggie audibly gulped as she felt her face rapidly heating, and Emily look over at her, smiling, but quirking a brow.

"You okay, Vaggie?" She said, gently. Vaggie shooke her head.

"Y-yeah!! Um, seeyoulaterbye!!!"

And she quickly closed the door.

Emily cocked her head, and snickered. "That was cute..." She muttered to herself. Blushing as she realized what had slipped out of her mouth. She shook her head rapidly. "N-no!! Stupid Emily! She's taken! Taken by someone way prettier than you, and funnier and with a better singing voice, and more talented, and-!" She blushed again, as thoughts of a certain hellborn started to dance their own way curiously through her mind. "Oh my God, Emily, no!"

The lithe angel flopped over on the bed and grabbed off a pillow, shoving her face into it and kicking her legs. She sighed as poked out her eyes. "Neither of them would even eant anything to do with me, anyway... I let them down... Everyone, everyone here in Hell and in Heaven... I'm... I shouldn't..."

She exhaled again as her eyes misted.

"I shouldn't even be here... I don't deserve it... they shouldn't have let me in in the first place..."

'Jesus-fucking-Christ, Vaggie, what the Hell is wrong with you!?" Vaggie tugged at either side of hair as she went down the stairs into the hotel parlor.

"Hi, Vaggie!!" Charlie waved at her eagerly, beaming ear-to-ear. "We were just trying to decide what to do for lunch!"

"How's it goin', Vagina?" Angel said with a smirmy grin. He frowned as Vaggie didn't even roll her eyes, beelining for Charlie. "I... wait, no, really, you okay?"

Everyone in the parlor was shocked as she went over to the chair Charlie was sitting in -legs crossed, one hand in her lap, the other still slightly raised from her waving, and a look of concern on her face- and pushed Charlie's crossed leg out of the way, flat on the chair, and aggresively grabbing her head by both fo the cheeks, and practically crawling on top of her as she kissed her, fully and open mouthed on the lips.

Husk, who was holding a beverage of a strong, alcoholic nature in one hand and sitting next to Angel on the couch, spoke indignantly, "Awe, for fuck's sake- I- Right in front of my whiskey!?"

Alastor's smile tightened uncomfortably.

Charlie's eyes widened to the size of dinner plates, and she let out a tiny little meep.

Vaggie pulled her lips away, leaving a thin trail of spit in the air between the two. She promplty stood up, and wiped her mouth, and mumbled out: "Good. That's good..." Vaggie turned on her heel and proceeded to leave right the way she came.

Charlie took a good second to recover her brain before shaking her head and looking to her fleeing partner. "I- Vaggie, wait a sec!" She moved to go after her but tripped over Keekee -the cat had been laying at her feet and now was scampering away with a meowl. "Oh! Keekee, I'm so sorry!"

"Damn. Didn't know Vaggie was inta voyeurism," Angel quipped, raising his eyebrows with a, 'who-knew,' quality.

Charlie, who had just got back to her feet and gave a repenting look to her cat turned to angel with an unthrilled expression. "That wasn't cool, Angel."

Angel rolled his eyes, but there was a small flash of apologeticness in his face.

Vaggie laid on her side atop her and Charlie's bed. She sighed. She heard a gentle wrapping at the door. She debated weather to respond at all or just pretend she was dead to the world, but the sweet, loving voice on the other side giving a drawn and gentle, "Vaggieeee?" Swayed her.

"You can come in, Charlie," she said flatly. Charlie tentatively opened the door and moved to the bed, thoughtfully putting a hand on her girlfriend's shoulder.

"Vaggie, what's wrong?" Charlie said, her worry clear in her voice.

"... What do you mean?" Vaggie asked, as if it wasn't the most obvious thing in the world that something was, indeed, wrong.

The other woman played along. "Mmmm, well, let's seeeee..." She thoughtfully tapper her chin and scrunched up her face for effect. "Well, you came downstairs... said nothing... spedwalked towards me, and then pounced on me in what was a... very spicy kiss, by the way. And then you turned tail and left again..." Charlie looked over at her girlfiend, and jokingly said, "and worst of all, you didn't even snark back at Angel." Charlie giggled breathily before shifting her face back to full concern. "Vaggie, I'm worried about you..."

Vaggie spoke. "Charlie, you-" She stopped herself. Due to... events, occuring in the past month, she was far from eager to fib to her girlfriend. And not for something this important...

The angel sighed, sitting up, and sidled next to Charlie on the edge of the bed, laying a hand on her thigh in a tender gesture.

"Charlie... We need to talk..." Vaggie was struggling to make eye contact.

"Vaggie..." Charlie took the other woman's hand into both of hers, lifting it off her thigh, and giving it a gentle squeeze. "You know you can tell me anything."

"Charlie, I..." Vaggie looked down. "You know I love you... so fucking much, you... you're my everything. My reason, just... Everything."

"Of course, I... I feel the same way Vaggie, you know that." Charlie moved one of her hands and gently used it to turn Vaggie's head so she could see the honesty in her eyes. Vaggie gave her a warm smile, as Charlie gently stroked her cheek with her thumb. But then she sighed. And she took Charlie's hand, and she moved it away, going back to staring at her thighs.

"Vaggie..."

"Charlie, I-" Vaggie squeezed her eyes shut. Before blurting out.

"I think I have a thing for Emily!"
