Determination that Explodes in All Souls
"It's yours! Your Quirk, not his!" Izuku yelled and slapped Shoto right in the face.
Shoto gasp, not just from the slap, but also from another memory of his childhood came flooding into his mind and something that happened during that time too.
(Flashback)
Now the scene has shown little Shoto and his mom (before the incident) watching TV together with All Might on a talk show.
"Yes, that's right. Children often do inherit Quirks from their parents or develop similar power sets. But the most important thing to remember is that a Quirk is what you make of it, regardless of your history. You decide on how you use it. That's what I mean when I say, "I am here". Only you can decide to become a hero, no one else. Take this to heart, kids! You've got it!" All Might stated.
"Honey, you still wanna be a hero, right? Just remember to stay true to yourself." Rei said.
"(I didn't realize how much I'd forgotten.)" Shoto thought realized.
(Flashback End)
"You are not a prisoner of your lineage. It's okay to use your power to become who you want to be." The words from Shoto's mom echoed in his mind, finally realizing what he truly needed all along.
(Music: Inferno, Fire Force Opening, Mrs. GREEN APPLE)
Now with his heart and soul being free from the depression he has been keeping himself locked in for years, Shoto let out his fire and quite literally too.
"Is that…?" Present Mic was shocked.
"He's using his fire!" Ochaco and Ruby gasped as they could feel the intense heatwave all the way up here.
Tenya is more surprised that Shoto is really using his fire side now as he remembers what he said to him when teaming up for the Calvary Battle.
"When I battle. I never use my left side."
"Incredible." Tenya was amazed, now seeing his powerful flame.
"Shit! I had no idea Shoto had the literal hot stuff under all that ice!" Yang was shocked.
"I didn't think Shoto would even want to use his fire side given how he seems to dislike it, but I think Izuku just made him bring it out." Blake felt the heat it's nothing like she ever felt before.
"Well, well, looks like Shoto is finally done letting the past and his blood define who he is." Weiss smiled, mentally complimenting Izuku on getting Shoto to go full power at long last.
"(You made him use his father's power. Midoriya, don't tell me you were trying to save Young Todoroki this whole time!)" Toshinori thought realized what Izuku has done.
(Outside of the Stadium)
"Oh shit, look at that Todoroki kid! He's on fire and literally too!" Mt. Lady gasped.
"To think that's the son of Endeavor himself, fierce fire just as the hero himself." One wooden hero commented. Hero name: Kamui Wood.
Kamui Wood is a young man with a rather muscular build. He wears a wooden mask covering his whole face with holes for his eyes, a dark blue bodysuit that includes a wooden belt, wooden knee pads, and wooden shoes. A small bundle of roses hangs from the left side of his belt.
"Looks like this might be Todoroki's win. I don't see any way for that Midoriya kid to get close without being burned alive." Another hero stated. Hero name: Death Arms.
Death Arms is a very tall, muscular man of a wide build with slightly tanned skin. He has a square jaw which juts out a notable amount, small eyes and short white hair, spiked out behind his head. He wears a large headband with a yellow and black-striped caution pattern, matching his thick wrist-guards and the belt around his waist, a square buckle with a triangular decoration sat in its center. He wears what looks to be a cyan-colored cardigan, which exposes his lower torso and the center of his pectorals, held onto his chest on each side by small metal nuts. His pants are dark blue, with a white stripe down each side, and are slightly baggy on him, and his shoes are plain black with a simple design.
"Hey, you don't think Todoroki is really going to burn Midoriya with that kind of firepower, right?" Mt. Lady worried for Izuku.
"I'm sure the boy will be fine, though he may end up getting some burn marks." Kamui Wood said.
"You seem to be really worried about the kid." Death Arms noticed Mt. Lady seems to be caring a little more about Midoriya.
"So? I just think he's interesting!" Mt. Lady proclaimed with her cheeks blushing a little.
"(You better make it out alive from this.)" Mt. Lady thought looked at the screen again.
(Back with Izuku vs Shoto)
Izuku can definitely feel the heat from where he is standing, this feels hotter than any fire he felt in the past like a campfire, and this is also making him feel like it's summer already with the temperature being over a hundred degrees.
"You're helping your opponent. You fool… Even though you wanna win this battle. Now which one of us is screwing around?" Shoto asked sarcastically as his body starts to warm up with the cold part melting away.
Izuku is shocked upon finally realizing that Shoto is going to fight with everything he got, and that includes using his fire.
"I want it too. I'll be a hero!" Shoto determined, letting the fire burn away the hatred and negative thoughts from his past and his father's ambitions.
Izuku is glad to see that Shoto is smiling about getting to use his fire after all this time, now ready to really move forward into the future, now this fight can truly be a fight they'll both remember.
"YES, SHOTO!" Endeavor shouted.
"Huh, is someone doing fireworks over there?" Yang asked, looking over at the big fire.
"I think that's Endeavor." Blake guessed.
"Have you finally accepted your purpose?" Endeavor walked down some steps to see Shoto using his fire a little closer.
"That's it. Very good. This is the dawn of a new era for us." Endeavor believed.
"With my blood in your veins, you'll surpass me. You will live up to the reason I created you!" Endeavor smirked. He has been waiting for a long time to see his youngest son unleashing his inner fire.
"Endeavor suddenly shouts words of… encouragement? What a doting father." Present Mic commented while confused at the same time.
"(Sorry, you flaming old fool, but Shoto is going to be doing his own thing from now on.)" Weiss thought glared at Endeavor.
"Amazing." Izuku smiled.
"Why are you smiling?" Shoto asked.
"You must be really crazy to encourage me into using my fire and you only have one usable hand to attack." Shoto pointed out.
"Don't blame me for what happens next." Shoto said, unleashing the full power of both his ice and fire.
Izuku response by powering up Full Cowling up to 15% and ready his left arm for one big final attack with the shockwave bursting from his body.
"That's it, Midnight! One of them could be killed!" Cementoss hurried in using his Quirk on the stage.
"We need to stop this now!" Midnight worried for the two boys as she tears open her hero costume to let out her Somnambulist Quirk hoping to put them to sleep.
However, it was too late for the teachers to stop either of them as Shoto had already unleash a giant ice attack to consume Izuku only for him to jump over and run on the ice making his way to Shoto for the final clash.
"(Gotta get in close and give this everything I got! Come at me with your full power, Shoto Todoroki!)" Izuku thought poured his full power into his left arm and then Todoroki instantly melts away the ice as he starts to power up his fire side.
"I see now, Midoriya." Shoto raised his left hand with the fire ready to be unleashed.
Midoriya jumps off the ice when it was melted by the heat and throw his strongest punch at full power while at the same time, Shoto also unleashed his burning heat blast.
"Thank you." Shoto said.
Despite Cementoss creating some stone walls to stop, the collision still happens and causes a powerful heated air explosion with a very powerful shockwave that shook the entire stadium and several feet around it like a strong earthquake in one spot.
Everyone can feel the shockwave and the ground shaking from the intense explosion of both Izuku and Shoto unleashing their ultimate attacks onto each other that nearly blew everybody away.
"Holy crap balls!" Minoru screamed while being held by Mezo.
"This is crazy!" Denki screamed in shock.
"What's happening down there?" Momo asked.
"I'll tell you what's happening…!" Yang smiled while holding on to dear life.
"Burning Bimbo, if you dare make a pun right now, I swear I'll kill you before our match!" Katsuki yelled.
"Their awesomeness just went off with a big boom!" Yang punned with excitement.
"Hey, I actually like that one!" Denki commented.
"Thanks for the save, Tsu!" Ruby thanked, she was almost blown away by the powerful explosion had Tsuyu not wrapped her tongue around her at the last second.
Tsuyu responded by giving her a thumbs up.
(Music End)
Soon, the shockwave and shaking stops a moment later now being replaced with silence.
"Oh, having powerful Quirk doesn't mean you'll be a good hero. But these two are amazing." Cementoss commented.
"What happened just now? What the fuck is up with your students?" Present Mic asked, having fallen on the floor from the shaking and shockwave.
"The air around the ring had been thoroughly cooled down, and then rapidly expanded when heated up." Aizawa explained with some science he knows.
"Wait, that's what cause the explosion? How hot did that fire get?" Present Mic asked shock and got himself back up.
"Jeez, I can't see a thing! Is the match still going on or what, huh?" Present Mic asked, trying to see what's going on with all that smoke.
Midnight gets back up from being blown down by the explosion though can feel her butt arching from the landing, along with her back and right shoulder.
"Come on, come on… Tell us who won already!" Yang tapped her foot, feeling impatient.
"Easy there, fire girl. I'm sure we'll know soon enough." Kyoka said.
"…Why the fuck are you holding onto my arm?" Katsuki asked.
Kyoka gasped upon realizing that she has both of her arms wrap onto Katsuki's arm when the strong wind from the explosion kicked in and she latches onto the nearest thing to keep herself from being blown away, and now her face is turning bright red.
"D-D-Don't get the wrong idea! I didn't want to be blown out of the stadium!" Kyoka threw her arms off from Katsuki's.
"The smoke is clearing up." Weiss alerted.
The smoke clear away to show where Izuku and Shoto are in the ring, only to find out that they are no longer in the ring at all because they are both right outside of the ring with Shoto just outside about six feet and Izuku with his back against the wall.
"Both Midoriya and Todoroki are out of bounds! This match is a draw!" Midnight announced.
The crowd are very shocked to hear that this fight ended in a double KO as they were expecting something a little more than that, but this still feels great with how the match went as the crowd cheers for them.
"And that's the end of the first match of the second round, ladies and gentlemen! What a crazy fight that was!" Present Mic smirked.
"Our battle… in a draw." Izuku panted.
"It looks like we appear to be evenly matched, for now." Shoto panted.
"It can't be… Draw! So, that Midoriya is strong just as Shoto's powers is! To think I would witness such an unbelievable thing with my own eyes!" Endeavor was shocked.
"Alright everybody, it looks like we're gonna need a tie-breaker challenge to decide which of these incredible and powerful boys is going to be moving on to the next round. After they rest up in the nurse's office, of course." Present Mic informed.
"But make no mistake, we'll make it interesting and fun that doesn't involve blowing things up in our faces!" Present Mic added.
"(Those kids are something else with their powers, looks like we got a lot of work to do.)" Aizawa thought believed they need some extra work.
"Man… I almost lost my breath there." Ruby sighed as she fell back on her seat.
"It was certainly a match we'll never forget." Weiss smiled.
"Looks like it's gonna be a while before we can have our match, Katsuki. But don't worry, I'll make sure I'm ready for our fight!" Yang smirked at Katsuki.
"Like being ready will get you anywhere with me in the way." Katsuki scoffed.
"Whatever, I'm going to Recovery Girl to see how Izuku is doing." Yang leaves her classmates.
"Hey, wait! I wanna go see Deku too!" Ochaco hurried follow Yang.
"As do I!" Tenya decided to also go see how Izuku is doing. Along with Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Tsuyu, and Eijiro is also tagging along.
"Shit, why does Midoriya get all the pretty girls!" Minoru angered.
"Dude, you know that Kirishima and Iida are with them, right?" Denki pointed out.
Toshinori let out a sigh of relief while walking down some stairs, seeing that nothing seriously bad happened to his successor and felt proud that he was also able to help that Todoroki kid along the way into getting him to use his fire like that.
"You truly are more than I could hope for, Young Midoriya." Toshinori smiled.
(Recovery Girl's Temporary Nurse Office)
"Oh man, I feel hurt all over me." Izuku groaned while lying on the bed.
"Well, the bones in your left arm have some cracks, but it's not life-threatening. Same with the fingers in your right hand. It would seem that extra training with the girls bared more fruit than we thought with your body being able to handle One for All a little better than before." Recovery Girl explained.
"But that doesn't excuse the recklessness you were doing in that match." Recovery Girl glared at Izuku.
"R-Right, sorry to have worried you, ma'am." Izuku apologized.
"Honestly, if you had taken things too far with that fight then these injuries would've been a lot worse. Don't even do something like that again just to make him proud." Recovery Girl scolded.
"Both you and the boy would go far just to help save someone." Recovery Girl exclaimed.
But before Toshinori could respond to that.
"Midoriya!" Team RWBY and the group of friends burst in, shocking Toshinori.
"You scared the crap outta me." Toshinori panted.
"Yo, figured you'd come to see Izuku here." Yang greeted Toshinori.
"Oh, do you know this man?" Ochaco asked.
"Yes, he's one of the teachers for the upperclassmen." Weiss answered with a lie.
"He is in no state for visitors." Recovery Girl said.
"Hey, you guys. Bet you didn't expect me to tie up with Todoroki." Izuku smiled.
"Yes, it was unbelievable. Present Mic said that you and Todoroki will need to do a tiebreaker in order to decide who will move on to the next match." Tenya explained.
"That was the scariest match I have ever seen, Midoriya! Sure, you won the match, but what pro's gonna want a sidekick that hurts himself?" Minoru asked in fear, but immediately, Tsuyu launched her tongue in his ear.
"Now you're just rubbing salt in his wounds. Probably not a good time." Tsuyu stated.
"Hey, I'm just speaking the truth!" Minori said.
"Tsu, did you really have to use your tongue like that? You don't even know if he has taken any showers." Weiss disgusted, making Minoru feel extra heart in the heart.
"You're much to noisy, I know you're worried, but I've got to focus on healing him now." Recovery Girl started pushing the students out.
"Wait, I know a way that can help Izuku help a little faster." Yang mentioned. She's not really sure if her idea will work, but it's the best thing she could think of for Izuku right now.
"Hmm, fine. But this better not hurt the boy." Recovery Girl allowed Yang and the other three girls from another world to stay.
"Yang, I think I know what you're thinking, but I don't know if that idea will even work. This is a different world than Remnant, it could be very risky!" Blake said, worried for Izuku.
"I know, but I really think this should help him in the long mile!" Yang believed.
"Yang, what are you talking about?" Izuku asked.
"Izuku, prepare yourself for I'm going to unlock your Aura!" Yang smirked.

I decided that the battle would end in a draw between the two mighty students of UA High and about the tiebreaker challenge, you'll have to wait and see. And now for Yang's plan to help Izuku by unlocking his Aura, but will that even work in another world? It's a big gamble our young heroes may have to take.
