Inkaliber: Hey guys! Welcome back to another exciting chapter of Miraculous Gamer Guild! I apologize for not being able to update last week, but with how Ao3 was down it's probably for the best that I didn't. With everything back up and running, it's time to get to yet another chapter that I have been anxiously awaiting. I plan on this one being a big shipping moment, so everyone hold onto your hats!

Damian: I am sure that not all of your readers own a hat. I for one find that saying to be a bit archaic.

Inkaliber: You're probably right, Damian. I'll just have to… Please tell me I'm just imagining you or did I leave a holographic call on.

Damian: If that were so, Jon would not be talking with the small ghost girl, and you would not have a pink dragon claiming that the noise was disturbing your new neighbors. You might want to explain it to me.

Inkaliber:… JAMES!

James: I'm here, Boss! What seems to be the… OH NOT AGAIN!

Inkaliber: I'm fixing to kill whoever keeps performing forced dimensional mitosis. Now I have to take stock of everything that's going on. I prerecorded my responses to reviews in case of emergencies. You're gonna have to run the show for a bit.

James: I see. I'll do my best, Sir!

Inkaliber: Good. Damian, come with me. Hopefully you saw what happened before you woke up here.

Damian: Actually, I did. A red wearing man with a foul taste in language jumped us during a patrol. He said something about "making one of his favorite ships a reality."

Inkaliber:… WAYDE, YOU WALKING RED AVOCADO!

SLAM!

James: Oof. I'd hate to be that Deadpool guy right now. As the Boss would say, the show must go on!

Speedykitten1643- I'm glad the ending worked out well. I mean lightning powers can be pretty similar at times, lol. Glad I could write the game in an entertaining manner. As a bit of a spoiler, you're about to find out exactly what that plan is. Enjoy!

LunarCouncillor- I don't know exactly what you mean by that, though it's just a hair color. She will most likely continue to dye it for the rest of her life. If anything, it'll pop up as more of a tidbit that only few people know about her.

Fregreg- Thank you! I enjoy leaving hints to certain plot points about the characters, even in places you wouldn't expect. It'll probably be a good bit before he ever knows, lol.

Sogg1Dog- I don't know why you are concerned, lol. Tucker is still a good guy. There's just something about him that no one knows yet, pun intended.

Njistar- Well, there is a term in another series that fits better for him. Glad you still find it awesome. Why do you think he's starting his training now? Yeah, I figured Never Have I Ever would be a good game for them to play.

P96822- Hey, it's cool that you reviewed man. I figured it would be good to expand on Sam's character since she's still a big part of this story. Tucker is ready to get this power of his under control.

Axterra2004- Interesting theories. You're asking some good questions, though not all of them are the right ones. Still, I can't tell ya what the answers are.

Gundoru- I figured at some point it would be good to bring in this particular social game. I'm glad I could get you thinking and could blow your expectations out of the water. It's funny how one little detail can get the mind going. When I mentioned the War Room chapter, I was more specifically meaning the chapter after it. That following chapter will be the end of this arc of the story.

darknessslayer- Ah. I haven't seen that movie. Sorry, lol.

Glad you enjoyed the chapter. Do not put new ideas in my head, lol. I'm happy blonde Sam works in some capacity. It was my intention to "shock" you guys with that ending… I'm sorry that one was actually bad.

HiddenAce- I'm glad you liked the chapter! I figured those details would be instant call outs. Here's the next one!

Cat- I'm glad to hear you've been loving the story so far! The panther statues do kinda have an obvious theme to them, don't they? Glad to see someone has noticed a similarity in Tucker's powers. I will say that you are very much half right on the Azari part.

Blackchill00- I don't think I've made any specific references, aside from a few joke things and random moments. This is another situation where I can't really tell, but everyone is getting so close with the few theories there are.

Herebutnotyet- (There are supposed to be hearts here)

Mace- Glad you liked the chapter. The personality sounds interesting, but I don't know Glitch Tech other than its name.

L_GS- Interesting theories. You really went in depth when thinking of this. You'll just have to see if your thought process is true or not, lol.

Classiccartoon27- Yeah, I figured it would be good to have a fun game this time around. I try to keep a good balance between the real-world chapters and the chat ones. The fence in Paris? Glad you're liking the story! Here's the next chapter!

Moiiracst- (There are supposed to be cat faces here).

Trix- I understand that those games are fun. I'm just trying to make sure things don't get too crazy. Things are already getting crazy with the series I have right now. Plus, if I did do it like Nicktoons Unite, Timmy lives in a different universe.

OceanaMM- Glad you were able to catch up! It is important to bookmark stories, though this site really doesn't tell you when those bookmarks update. I'm also glad that I'm doing a good job!

The_Keeper_of_Worlds- Oh don't worry. We're almost halfway there. In this arc, the main area of focus for events is Paris.

James: That looks like the end of the recording! Time for this story to take off at a breakneck pace! The Boss doesn't own Miraculous, Danny Phantom, Marvel, DC, or any other series that show up here. He does own any original characters, concepts, creatures, and places that work their way into the story unless stated otherwise. Action!

Paris, France

Danny yawned as he woke from his slumber. He rubbed his eyes a bit before letting a grin appear on his face. In an uncharacteristic fashion, the boy leapt out of bed and ran for the bathroom. He quickly got to work freshening up, even taking a shower right after shaving his face. He felt his emotions welling up as he brought a hairbrush to his mouth.

"Don't stop… believing~!" sang the ghost boy. "Hold on to that feeling! Streetlights! People!" There was a loud, repetitive knocking on the bathroom door followed by a growl.

"I get that you're in love, but the whole of Paris doesn't have to hear it!" cried Jazz. "Keep it down until I have my morning tea!" Danny chuckled sheepishly as he got back to brushing his hair.

"Sorry Jazz! I'm just excited!" The boy quickly put on deodorant before putting on his newest outfit. He walked out of the bathroom, quickly grabbing his hoodie off of the rack, fluffing it a few times. "Today's the day, Jazz."

His sister only grumbled in interest as she took a sip of her tea. "I'm going to take Juleka on a walk. When we get to the most romantic and unique spot I can find, I'm going to ask her to be my girlfriend. No akuma that Hawkmoth throws at me, and no antics brought about by Mom and Dad are going to stop me this time." Jazz finally let a smile form on her face as she nodded her head.

"I'm happy that you've finally come to a decision on what you'll do about these feelings of yours. Just remember not to test the old Fenton luck. Never take any moment for granted, or something will go wrong." Danny smirked as he nodded his head. He pulled a small pin out of his pocket, depicting a light blue tiger with black stripes and ecto-green mist surrounding it.

"I used my newest powers to put this little beauty together. It's made of my ghost ice, an onyx gem I bought for about seven euros, and some green coated metal. I want to give it to her as a sign of how we're connected. I'm hoping it'll be good enough." Jazz couldn't help but whistle as she looked at the piece of jewelry.

"You practiced with your new powers just to make the girl you like a special pin?" Danny faltered a bit, feeling like he was being judged. He returned his attention to Jazz as she placed a hand on his shoulder. "She's going to love it. When you give it to her, I want pictures."

Danny smiled, happy to have his sister's support. Their conversation was cut short as their door was unlocked. They frowned, quickly remembering that their parents grabbed a spare key to their room. Jack forced himself into the room, a grin on his face. Maddie was behind him, trying her best to calm him down.

"Today's the day, kids!" cheered Jack. "We're about to show off the greatest invention in ghost hunting history! I even brought along ghost hunting hazmat suits for you to wear as you stand by our sides!" The man child held up two small hazmat suits identical to his and his wife's suits, only white for Danny and black for Jazz. Danny silently slipped his gift for Juleka into his pocket before holding his hands up in defense.

"No offense, Dad, but I don't plan on wearing that today." Revealed the ghost boy. "I have some important plans." Maddie stepped forward as Jack began to pout like a child.

"It's a big moment for our family, Danny." Reminded the woman. "While your shirt does do a good job of us chasing a ghost away from the Earth, we have to stick to form." Jazz frowned as she crossed her arms.

"Need I remind you that this is your world and not ours?" questioned the mature girl. "Besides, Danny's plans are a lot bigger for his future. Tell them, Danny." The hidden ghost boy sighed as he now had his parents' full attention. Might as well just rip the band aid off.

"I plan to ask Juleka to be my girlfriend today." Revealed Danny. "With so many eyes on the convention, I figured a lot of the best places would be more open." Jack's pout did a sudden turn as he let out an understanding cheer.

"That's my boy!" cried the big man. "Beating the locals to the best spots! What a great way to ask a girl to start a new chapter of her life with ya! Reminds me of the day I asked your mother to join me in the business of life." Maddie rolled her eyes as she put a hand on her hip.

"Well, I guess we can let it slide if it's something this important." Accepted the woman. "I hope you have a good plan." Danny nodded with a smile.

"If no one else's plan interferes with mine, I think it's pretty solid. I think I might stop by a hair stylist and get a…" Maddie's eyes widened as she held both her hands forwards.

"NO!" Danny and Jazz jerked back, surprised by their mother's outburst. The ghost boy returned to his standing position as he raised one of his eyebrows.

"…touch up. What did you think I was gonna do? Shave my head or something? I'm not Mr. Lancer." Maddie cleared her throat as she regained her composure.

"No. It's just that… your hair is perfect how it is. You have such a wonderful charm. I think it will mess with your chances if something goes wrong." Danny, feeling more confused by this answer than satisfied, shrugged in response.

"Alright… I guess. I was hoping to have Jazz with me so that she could keep me from letting my nerves take hold." Jack looked like he wanted to object, waving around Jazz's hazmat suit, only for Maddie to nod her head.

"That's fine. Just… be careful with Phantom out and about." Danny fought the urge to scowl at his mother for her hateful comment, only to stuff it as he nodded his head. He picked up his remaining things as Jazz grabbed her purse. The duo pushed their way past their parents, a slight tension hanging in the air. Unknown to them, they weren't the only ones making plans this morning.

Chloe's Hotel Room

Rose stood in front of a massive white board, a smile on her face. She had spent the past week planning out the perfect date for Danny and Juleka, using ideas from everyone she could ask. Everyone who could attend, meaning every Parisian in the chat save for Luka and Juleka, decided to meet at Mayor Bourgeois' hotel. Now it was time to share her great plan with the others. She tapped a small rod resembling a wizard's wand against the board, getting the group's attention.

"Here's the plan!" cheered Rose. "I call it, 'Operation: Get our Two Favorite Love Birds Together!'" She dragged the stick around a pair of stick figures resembling Danny and Juleka. "Danny and Juleka love each other but can't seem to get up the nerve to make it official. That's where we come in."

The perky blonde pointed the wand at Max and Kim, causing them to sit up. "You guys will get Danny alone at a men's clothing store and dress him up like one of those fairytale princes! Meanwhile, the rest of us will take Juleka to find the most beautiful green dress we can find! We'll take them to the fanciest restaurant in town, forcing them to go alone together. Then they'll make out, get married as soon as they have good stable jobs, and finally have three kids and a cute little dog!"

Rose took a few deep breaths, ignoring the concerned looks her outburst had garnered. "What? Did I say something off? I haven't even gotten to the swans we'll release on their wedding day." Marinette leaned closer to Chloe and her handbag.

"And everyone thought my plans could get overboard." Whispered the Ladybug hero. Chloe nodded her head as she stood up. She stood in front of the white board, holding her hand out expectantly.

"The plan has merit, but it needs a little help." Stated the former mean girl. "I think I know a better way to handle it, including keeping on track with the here and now." Rose looked between Chloe's hand and her pointing stick. She sighed as she handed the object over, moving to sit beside Sabrina. The local redhead rubbed her shoulder in order to help her calm down.

Chloe nodded with a small smile. "Thank you. Now, we'll have to throw a bit of realism into this plan. For one, I'm sure that what they've been wearing for a while will be good enough. We also need to choose a drastically different restaurant, seeing as Danny might not like the food at such a high-end place."

The hidden bee hero gestured to the girls with a confident smirk. "The girls and I will help Juleka feel more confident about herself so she can be honest with Danny." She then turned her attention to Max and Kim again. "Meanwhile, you two will distract Danny at the nearby arcade so he doesn't go looking for Juleka before we're ready for them to be together. We'll meet up at Nettie's parents' bakery before sending the duo on a date to a restaurant that's popular for young couples and foreigners."

The group nodded amongst each other, this idea sounding more concise than the previous one. Even Rose had to admit that it sounded much more realistic. She still had it in her head that the long-term stuff would happen. That could be saved for another time, however. Kim smirked as he leaned forward slightly.

"I think this plan will go great!" cheered the athlete. "Nothing can go wrong this time!" His words immediately caught the ire of the group as they sent him deadpanned looks. Kim couldn't help but become sheepish under the glares of the group. "What?"

Amity Park, Illinois.

The Masters Mansion was a rather recent addition to the city of Amity Park. It was home to the town's mayor, Vladimir Masters, as well as a popular sight for his speeches about his anti-ecto campaign. Little did the populace know that below this very building, was a laboratory that put the Fenton Works lab to shame. The place was filled with various tools, devices, and blueprints that seemed to be more about enhancing a ghost's capabilities rather than destroying them. The only thing that was similar to Jack Fenton's lab, was the ghost portal that was built into a wall.

A familiar metal hand stretched out of the active portal, grabbing onto the rim. Skulker pulled himself out of the Ghost Zone, his suit looking slightly larger than before. He rolled the mech's shoulders, growling as he heard the metal scraping. That would be something to work on later. The hunter grabbed a rifle that looked like it was designed to launch nets, only for a pink light to shine behind him.

"Pray tell, what are you doing in my lab during this hour of the night?" questioned a voice. He turned around to see a specter with light blue skin, red eyes, and black hair that rose into two points like large horns. He wore a mostly white outfit consisting of white trousers and a white long-sleeved shirt with black gloves and boots. He had a shirt that was connected via a black belt and stemmed up to his neck. Finally, he accessorized with a high collar cape connected around his neck that had a white exterior and a red interior lining.

The specter formed a pink ecto-blast in his hand as a form of intimidation. "As much as I have enjoyed employing your services in the past, Skulker, I cannot allow you to barge into my abode with no good reason." The hunter growled as he grabbed some small objects from a nearby rack.

"The brat has his friends watching his ghost portal 24/7, Plasmius." Grumbled Skulker. "He has even employed the help of creatures from the Far Frozen. Your portal is the only other reliable one in the mortal realm. Now that I am free to move as I please, I intend to follow my prey to his current location." Plasmius hummed, intrigued by this bit of news.

"So, Jack and his family are on a little trip? If you wouldn't mind keeping me informed, where exactly did they go?" Skulker used a wrench to loosen some bolts in his suit, smiling as he heard no more annoying scraping.

"Apparently, they went to the city of Paris. The welp actually looked excited to be heading there. From what I can tell, he has found himself a new girlfriend. I plan to use that to my advantage, so keep your buzzards out of my way." The hunter decided to say nothing more as he turned intangible, flying out of the lab and into the night.

Plasmius smirked as he looked up to the rafters, where three green vultures with red eyes could be seen slumbering of all things. He smirked as he fired the prepared attack, causing it to ricochet around. The vultures cried out in shock as they avoided the attack, falling to the ground below.

"Move, you incessant buzzards! Daniel is in Paris, and I want to see who he's set his eyes on." One of the ghost buzzards raised his head, an excited look on his head.

"I've always wanted to go to Paris!" cried the spectral bird. "I can finally find out what a croissant tastes like!" Plasmius roared as he prepared blasts in both of his hands.

"NOW!" The buzzard trio cried in fear as they quickly flew out of the building, doing their best to follow Skulker. Plasmius sighed as he rubbed his temples, canceling out the attacks he had just formed. He removed his hand as he allowed a smirk to form on his face. "Looks like our little game is going to become more interesting, Daniel."

Paris, France

Juleka knew that the others were up to something. The first thing that told her something was going on was that Rose couldn't stop making her excited smile. It was the same kind of face she'd make whenever they would attempt one of Marinette's old "ask Adrien out" plans. It didn't help her suspicions that the other girls were taking her places that make her feel better during bad days, their current location being her favorite spa. It was very clear to her that they were trying to force a situation where she and Danny would be alone in a romantic setting.

Even still, she couldn't deny that the thought excited her. The possibility of being alone with Danny in a potentially nice restaurant felt like one of her recent fantasies regarding where they'd go if they were dating. In the end, she felt that it was better to let them try out this plan of theirs. At least, until something went wrong, or Danny showed signs of a different idea. Juleka was brought out of her thought process as she felt a hand shake her shoulder a bit.

"Earth to Juleka Couffaine." Stated Chloe in a joking manner. "Is the spa treatment here that amazing, or do you have your mind on a certain American boy?" The shy girl looked away as a blush crossed her face.

"I wish you guys would stop teasing me about it." Mumbled Juleka. "I'm trying to work up my courage. Plus, it's usually good practice to let the guy ask you first. I'm just…" Alix groaned both in annoyance at Juleka's explanation and from the massage she was currently receiving.

"Girl, quit making excuses." Demanded the tomboy. "Girls have a right to bring up advancing relationships too. If Danny can't get up the nerve to ask you out and you want him bad enough, take initiative! There's a time to follow traditions and a time to take action." Sabrina smiled as she looked over to the group, her nails being painted in the process.

"She's right." Stated the Parisian redhead. "You have to take this situation by the horns before his vacation is over. Otherwise, you'll have to find some way to bring it up online. If you're wanting a proper date with him, it needs to happen now." Rose decided to show her more playful side as she sent a cheeky smile towards Marinette.

"Of course, we haven't all been the best examples of this." Joked the cheerful blonde. "You might want some of this advice the next time you find a guy you really want, Nettie." Marinette groaned as she moved her head a bit, currently caught up in a mud bath.

"Please don't start that now." Requested the clumsy girl. "I just want to get through the transition back to school before I ever think about finding a new guy." The rest of the girls chuckled at the outburst, causing Marinette to sink further into the bath. Juleka tried to calm down as she let the spa workers do their thing. Maybe she should take their advice.

Across town, Danny was both having fun and extremely frustrated. As he and Jazz were leaving for the usual meeting spot, Kim and Max met them along the way. They were really insistent on checking out the nearby arcade, wanting to have a chance to get to know him as a group of dudes. Jazz was mainly along for the ride as she seemed to be researching something on her phone. Regardless of his own plans, he couldn't deny the chance to get some gaming in to psych himself up.

The arcade was actually rather interesting. They had all kinds of games that were right up his alley, including some fighting games. It was actually really cool getting to know the guys here, especially when he would utterly smoke them in his favorite series. He felt adrenaline pump through his veins as he took a seat at one of the tables. He let out a victory cry as he picked up a soda he had ordered.

"Nothing like a trip to the arcade to start up another great day of this vacation!" cheered the ghost boy. "This place is amazing! I forgot how good I can be at Street Fighter games. Am I the champ or what?" Kim took the seat on the other side of the table, a smirk on his face.

"Until you win a tournament, I ain't calling ya that." Joked the athlete. He waited for Danny to take a sip of his drink before letting a mischievous smirk form on his face. "So… you and Juleka. You gonna make a move at some point?" Danny choked on his drink a bit as the question's implications registered in his head.

"Dude, let me finish before you hit me with that. I'm trying to find the right time to even bring the idea up to her. I haven't had the best luck with asking girls out, granted they were mostly shallow and popular girls. I just don't want to mess up and come across as creepy or weird or some other thing that'll make her say no." Max sat in the chair between the duo, his phone in his hands.

"With DuPont soon to reopen, school will resume before your family departs." Informed the local genius. "If you are unable to share your feelings now, I estimate that it could be from a few months to an entire year before you get another chance. Even then, that is only if the next convention even takes place here in Paris." Danny felt himself begin to panic, the thought of waiting any longer to tell her his feelings in person weighing heavily on his mind. Kim sent the nerd a soft glare before fixing his gaze on their guest.

"The point is, it's now or never." Stated the dare-happy boy. "Whether today or before you leave for the airport, you have to talk to her about this. The way you two looked at each other back at Chez Dimitri, I say you've got nothing to worry about. All you have to do is be yourself and make your intentions clear. You need to be a man and go after what and who makes you happy in life."

Danny nodded his head, really thinking about Kim's words. Soon a message appeared on Max's phone, causing a small smirk to appear on his face. He showed the message to Kim, prompting the two of them to get up. "Looks like the girls want to meet up at Nettie's parents' bakery." Danny grinned as he shot up in his seat.

"Alright!" cheered the ghost boy. "I've been meaning to stop by there and check the place out." He looked behind him to see that Jazz was smiling at her phone, apparently listening to some music as she had an earbud in. "Hey Jazz! We're finally going to Nettie's parents' place!" His sister quickly put her phone away as she walked over to him and the guys.

"Great." Stated the Fenton girl. "I've been waiting to try that place. Everyone keeps talking good about it and I want to see if it's as good as they say. Lead the way, boys." Kim smirked as he nodded his head, gesturing for the group to follow him.

Both Danny and Juleka grew nervous as their groups approached their target destination. Danny fumbled with his hands as he tried to calm down his nerves while Juleka was playing with her hair a bit. Each had their own thoughts going into this meetup, unsure about how things were going to play out. Soon their worries flew to the back of their minds as the sound of greetings and chatter filled the air. They locked eyes, trying to think of the right words to say.

"Um… hey… Juleka." Greeted Danny. "Y… you look like you're really glowing." He immediately kicked himself, not noticing his crush's blush. 'Glowing!? Really, Fenton!?' Juleka adjusted her purse on her shoulder as she tried to calm herself.

"T…thanks." Stated the shy girl. "The girls took me to a spa I really like. Speaking of… I like the new look on you. It really shows off how unique you are… in a good way." Danny smiled, not knowing that his crush was kicking herself much like he did earlier.

"Thanks." The duo returned to silence as they tried to find something to say. They heard the door to the bakery open, the group entering one by one.

"Come on lovebirds!" cried Kim. "Otherwise, I'll have your pastries!" Alix shoved the athlete a bit, giving him a look that told him he wasn't helping. Danny couldn't help but chuckle as he shook his head. The duo soon joined the others inside as Tom Dupain approached from the kitchen.

"Bon après-midi!" cried the baker in French. "Bienvenue chez Tom & Sabine Boulangerie Pâtisserie! Comment puis-je...?"(1) His eyes widened as he noticed Danny and Jazz among the group. "Ah!

You must be those kids from America!" Tom looked back to the kitchen as he raised his cupped hand to his mouth. "Sabine, Marinette is here with her tourist friends!" The woman in question poked her head out from the room with a smile. She dusted some flour off her apron as she approached the group.

"Hello everyone." Greeted the Asian woman. She then turned her attention to Danny and Jazz. "It's nice to meet new friends of Marinette's. I'm Sabine Cheng and this is my husband, Tom Dupain." Jazz decided to be the one to speak as she gestured to herself.

"It's nice to meet you." Began the foreign redhead. "I'm Jazz Fenton. This is my brother, Danny. This is our first time outside the US so we're trying to make the most of it." Both parents nodded with smiles on their faces, Sabine taking a step back.

"Well, any friend of Marinette's is welcome here. Especially one of the ones who helped her through everything that happened." Tom nodded his head as he placed a hand on his wife's shoulder.

"You kids look around and let us know if you need anything." Added the big man. He took a few sniffs of the air around them, only for his eyes to widen in terror. "I forgot the croissants in the oven! Excuse me!" He quickly ran to the back, his wife following him after politely bowing to the group.

The group dispersed as they looked around the small shop area. Max, Kim and Rose immediately moved to look at the pastries on display; Jazz looking over the menu in hopes of choosing a coffee; Sabrina and Alix quickly went about the next part of the plan, setting up the reservations for two at a decent restaurant; and the targets of the plan were mostly standing awkwardly as they tried to find something to do. Chloe smiled as her plan was coming together, thankful that Kim's use of those certain words hadn't messed anything up. She felt a bump in her purse, causing her to look inside. She gasped as she saw that Pollen was looking hungry with the bag of honey candies being empty.

"I have recently run out of candy, My Queen." Whispered the bee kwami. "I require honey." The blonde closed her bag as she quickly walked over to Marinette.

"Nettie!" cried Chloe as quiet as she could. "I had to be Honey Bee to meet up with everyone on time, and Pollen is out of honey candies! I can't feed her right now!" Marinette nodded in understanding as she rubbed the former brat's shoulder. She looked towards the others with a soft smile.

"We'll be right back!" cried the bakers' daughter. "I need to show Chloe where the bathroom is!" There were cries of okay from the group as the duo walked upstairs. As the duo went up the ladder, Chloe nearly slipped. "Watch your step." The blonde chuckled in embarrassment as she continued the rest of the way.

Back downstairs, everything began to spiral out of control. It appeared that several of the restaurants Juleka and Danny would love to visit were holding special events, being booked all day. Alix couldn't help but groan as she stuffed her phone in her pocket.

"As soon as Chloe gets back from the bathroom, we might need her to pull the Mayor's Daughter card." Grumbled the tomboy. "Found anything open?" Sabrina shook her head in denial.

"Everything's booked." Growled the former crony. "If we can't find an open restaurant that's romantic enough, the plan is ruined. Utterly ruined." Alix sent a glare Kim's way, instilling in the athletic boy the idea that he was doomed. It was now clear that he had indeed jinxed everything.

Juleka could tell by the looks on the others' faces that the plan was going south. She couldn't hear any definite words, but it was likely they were trying to get reservations for something. In her mind, this was like the photo curse all over again. It was as if some force in the universe was keeping her from having a romantic moment with the boy she had fallen hard for. She held her hands together in front of her chest as she looked down, trying her best not to panic from what she was seeing unfold.

Danny quickly took notice of his crush's drop in mood. Upon seeing the distressed look on her face, he immediately decided that he didn't like it. He looked to the environment around them, trying to find the cause of this stress. He immediately noticed the panic and silent shade being thrown around by the others, as well as Kim's discomfort. The ghost boy decided to put his plan into action as he returned his attention to Juleka, a hopefully comforting smile on his face.

"Hey, why don't we go for a walk?" suggested Danny. Juleka looked towards him, feeling relieved by his calm face. "I'll leave a note telling the others we'll be back later. I'd say it out loud, but I think they have some things that they're trying to work out." His crush smiled softly as she nodded her head.

"I need to grab something from home anyway." Revealed Juleka. "I wouldn't mind." Danny grinned as he reached into his pocket. He pulled out a pad of sticky notes, doing his best not to accidentally grab the pin he made. He wrote his intended message on a note before sticking it on the counter.

"And done. Let's head out." The duo left the bakery, leaving the group unawares. Tom came back into the room, setting a tray of croissants down on the counter. He put one of the baked goods on top of the note when Sabine poked her head out.

"Tom!" cried the Asian woman. "I think these herbs have expired!" The man nodded as he looked her way.

"I'll come take a look." Reassured the head of the household. "They can't have gone bad already." He left the tray behind, as well as the croissant on top of the note. Kim looked over the baked goods, his mouth watering from the smell. He turned to the others, only to pale as he noticed something.

"Um… where are Danny and Juleka?" questioned the athlete. The group stopped everything that they were doing as they slowly looked around the store. They had only just now realized that the potential couple were nowhere in sight. The panic they were feeling grew worse as they found no trace of the duo. Rose took a few steps back in utter horror.

"PARADISE LOST!" cried the normally cheerful blonde.

Unaware that they were now the most sought-after duo in Paris, Danny and Juleka were down at the docks by the time their absence was noticed. It was nice being in a much calmer environment, just the two of them. Danny thought he'd found a few good spots along the way, but nothing felt perfect. He definitely wasn't going to ask her in her own home, seeing as it would be awkward if that's the first thing he did when meeting her folks. Speaking of family, Juleka's own family was the reason she was currently sweating bullets.

After joining the guild, Luka quickly found time to sit her down and talk with her about her feelings for Danny. She never mentioned his status as Phantom as it was something from his personal life that not everyone needed to know. Still, they talked so loudly that their mother was able to hear everything. She knew for a fact that they'd make things awkward when she brought him over. She couldn't even ask him to wait outside, knowing that her mother would make him come aboard to say hi.

"Hey Juleka?" questioned Danny. Her thought process being abruptly shattered, she looked towards her smiling ghost hero. "How much further until we get to your home? There are so many ships that I can't tell when we're there or not." She quickly poked her fingers together as she looked forward.

"We're actually almost there." Revealed the shy girl. "Just a heads up, but my mom can be a little… eccentric. She talks like a pirate and loves music. I know you're used to eccentric parents but…" Danny smiled as he rubbed Juleka's shoulder, bringing about a blush on her face.

"As long as she doesn't go hunting down pirates or has a thing against ghosts, I don't mind. I like people who can stand out and be unique, like you." Juleka couldn't get her blush under control, especially after the boy she liked complimented her like that. Thankfully, and unfortunately, her face returned to normal as she saw her mother standing out in the open on the deck. The woman turned towards them, giving Danny a clear view of what exactly his crush was talking about.

The woman had long greenish-gray hair which was braided down her back, red lipstick, and light cerulean eyes. She wore a pair of bright red glasses, a black coat with a gold trim that reaches her knees, a light pink top, a black undershirt, a pair of light blue jeans, high-heeled brown boots that go halfway up her calves, earrings with alternating aqua and red spheres, and a variety of bracelets and armlets. She had three rings on every finger except for her ring finger on her right hand. Upon her head was an indigo headband with a hair clip positioned in the center, completing the pirate aesthetic. Juleka grimaced a bit when the woman leveled her hand above her eyes, trying to get a better look at her and Danny. Mrs. Couffaine's eyes widened as much as her grin as she waved to the duo.

"Ahoy there!" cried the woman. "I see ya there, Juleka! Who's yer new friend there!?" Juleka tried her best not to show her displeasure at being embarrassed. To her surprise, however, Danny grinned as he gestured to himself with his thumb.

"I be Danny Fenton, ma'am! Me crew is docked 'ere in Paris for the time being! Permission to come aboard, Cap'n!" Juleka's look of embarrassment turned into one of awe, surprised that her crush knew a good bit of pirate speech. Mrs. Couffaine's eyes widened even further as she took a few steps closer to the side of the boat.

"Ye be the Danny lad my Juleka's been talkin' about!?" Danny nodded his head, feeling more confident due to learning that the girl he likes had been talking about. The pirate-themed woman grinned once more as she waved them over. "Well, what are ya waitin' fer!? Hop aboard ya landlubber!"

Juleka didn't know how to respond to this new side of Danny, only for him to give her a look that promised he'd tell her later. The duo quickly boarded the boat, the ghost boy taking a deep breath of the sea air. "So, what brings ye aboard me ship, Dann-o? Figured ye'd be with yer own crew right now." Danny turned towards the woman with a bit of a strained smile.

"Permission to use landlubber speech, Cap'n?" The woman nodded in acceptance of the boy's request. "Thank you. I love my parents but sometimes I need time away from them. Juleka and I decided to just take a walk around Paris to take in the scenery." The girl in question decided to speak up as she walked in between the duo.

"Which is why we came here." Added Juleka. "I need to swap out my shoes if we're going to be walking and I'd like to grab some water." Mrs. Couffaine nodded in understanding as she gestured to the nearby set of stairs.

"Well, I just 'appened to restock our water supply yester." Revealed the woman. "I'll keep yer friend busy while ya raid the storeroom." Juleka nodded her head, sending Danny an apologetic look before she made her way downstairs. Danny saw no need for it as he looked around. Unknown to him, he was being assessed.

Anarka may have been seen as an eccentric woman, but she was still a mother. In the absence of her children's father, she had to vet whoever Juleka came to fancy. He seemed like a good kid, but first impressions only told so much about a person. Hence why she already had a plan in mind for how to make sure this lad would be a good match for her child. "So tell me, Dann-o, what be yer interests in this life?

Ye seem like a lad of ambition. Whether ye sail the sea or ya make yer livin' like a landlubber, every boy's got ta have things that pick his fancy." Danny chuckled as he rubbed the back of his head.

"Well, I'm a big fan of space, my goal to one day become an astronaut." Revealed the ghost boy. "I want to voyage up there to see the stars unimpeded by the sky above us. There's so much about the universe at large that we don't know about. Of course, I couldn't spend all of my time up there." Anarka smirked as she nodded her head.

"Yer dreams are big, yet ya have the heart of an overachiever. I bet yer workin' tooth and nail to get there." Danny nodded his head, smiling as he thought back to his childhood dream. Of course, he had a star much closer to Earth that popped up in his mind. This caused him to be lost in thought as he leaned against the railing of the ship.

"I'm doing my best. Anyways, I also like more down to earth things, like gaming and music." The pirate-themed woman raised a brow, happy that he gave her the segway she was looking for.

"Ye fancy music, eh? I happen to have acquired a decent haul in the recording room. Would ye fancy takin' a peek?" Danny's eyes widened, nodding his head in interest. He quickly followed her down below, entering the promised room.

Instruments of various types and cultural origins could be found within, alongside some pieces of recording equipment. "I've been to many places around the globe, gatherin' rare treasures like my wall of guitars. Why don't ya take a look around?" The foreign boy walked around the room, looking over the various types of instruments within. He soon came to a stop as he noticed a particular instrument in a case.

"Is that an ocarina?" Anarka approached him from behind, looking over an ornate red and gold painted ocarina. She smiled as she nodded her head.

"That right there, is one of me firsts. Got it from a man in Italy, I did. I helped him with some boxes my first day there and we became good friends. Most visitors go straight to the guitars when they take a gander in 'ere." Danny nodded as he looked over the ocarina.

"I know, but there are so many things you can't find back home here. I figured it'd be a good idea to see something I haven't seen in person before. I once heard a song played on an ocarina when I was really little and wanted to try it. I memorized the notes and everything, though I only had a flute at the time." Mrs. Couffaine sounded her interest as she slowly opened the case holding the instrument.

"Really now? Care ta put some proof to those words, boy-o?" Danny looked surprised by the offer, the instrument now in his grasp. He carefully picked up the ocarina, feeling the texture of the wood. He played a few notes to try and figure out where everything was, doing his best not to hurt his host's ears.

Once he found the right notes, he made an attempt at playing the song. Anarka was taken aback slightly by how quickly the boy seemed to catch on to the instrument. She had heard this tune before, though it was back in her younger years. Her mind went back to a circus she had once seen, a young man dedicating the song to a couple within the show who had passed in an accident. Danny continued to play the instrument, as if he had done so several times before.

He seemed to hear the sound of children running around him and laughing. He couldn't quite recall if this was a memory or an effect the song was having on him. The tune reverberated throughout the boat, even reaching Juleka's ears in her room. She closed her eyes as she took in the melody, a smile forming on her face. Danny finally came to a stop, slowly repeating the opening to his song.

He removed the ocarina from his lips, taking a deep breath. Anarka couldn't help but clap as she nodded her head. "For a lad who's never seen an ocarina in person, ye sure knew how to play it! Are ya sure ya haven't played one before?" Danny chuckled as he shook his head in denial.

"No ma'am, I have not. My family never really went anywhere that had instruments like this. It's very beautiful by the way." Danny put the object back in its case, allowing its rightful owner to lock it once again. Another set of clapping came from the entrance, causing the duo to look towards the origin of the noise.

Standing in the doorframe was a young man around Juleka's age with a Roman nose, pale pink lips, luminous cyan colored eyes, and medium-length black hair that had dyed cyan tips. He wore the following: a white t-shirt with a black Jagged Stone imprint and black jeans ripped at the knee; a brown leather bracelet; yellow and orange wristbands; a grayish cerulean denim jacket with a strong blue elbow-length sleeved hooded cardigan underneath; black high-top converse sneakers with different colored patterns; a black ring with silver outlining on his left index finger; and black earrings in his ears. His fingernails were painted black, though it didn't take away from his masculine charm.

"Not bad." Complimented the cool teen. "The melody vibed with your own inner song, telling the story of a young man who has grown from experiences most wouldn't be able to overcome. Am I correct in assuming that you're Danny? You have the exact same vibe that I got from your profile, only it's a lot stronger." Danny grinned as he nodded his head.

"And I can guess by the inner music talk that you're Scaless. It's nice to meet you." The duo shook hands, the local boy nodding his head.

"Just call me Luka. Seems only right since we're in person." Danny nodded his head once again, committing the name to memory. The hand shaking soon ceased, a bit of silence falling over the room. Anarka looked at her phone, smirking before she put it away.

"Seems I got meself a grocery order to pick up." Informed the woman. "I'll leave ye here 'til Juleka is ready. Keep the lad company, won't ya Luka?" The cool teen nodded his head in response to the request. As soon as his mother was out of the room, his face shifted to a neutral expression.

"Now that you're here, I just have one question. What are your intentions with my sister?" Danny felt his confidence sink as he realized that he was being given the sibling once over. "You have made it openly clear in chat that you feel something for her, so I want to know what you plan to do about it." The ghost boy gulped under pressure, deciding that the best course of action was honesty.

"If she'll have me, I plan to treat her right and remind her every day how special she is." Answered Danny. "Over the months that we've known each other, she's become a huge part of my life. I don't want to imagine where I'd be if I never met her through the guild. I want to see if we can make our relationship closer, even if we'll be an ocean apart. This world is full of girls of all kinds, and I think I've found the right girl for me."

Luka continued to look over Danny, seemingly thinking over his answer. This caused the ghost boy to sweat, not wanting to have her brother against him. Thankfully, the cool teen went back to smiling as he nodded his head.

"Chill dude. Just had to make sure you weren't putting on an act. It's just the three of us here so I have to step up sometimes when it comes to making sure my sister is safe and happy. I'm sure Jazz would do the same for you to make up for your parents' vetting skills." Danny let loose a huge breath of relief as he nodded his head.

"Yeah. She does. No hard feelings here." Luka allowed the boy to breathe, understanding the unexpected stress he caused. Juleka walked into the room, a curious smile on her face.

"Does anyone know who was playing that song?" questioned the local girl. "It sounded beautiful and… Oh! I see you two have met in person now." Danny nodded as he finally recollected his composure.

"Yeah. Luka's a pretty cool guy. Now I'm even more glad that he joined the chat. So, you ready to go?" The brother in question looked between the duo with his usual smile.

"Where are you two going?" questioned Luka. "Strange for you to be going around without the others." Juleka decided to answer as she took a few more steps into the room.

"We were just going to walk around the city." Revealed the girl. "Everyone seemed busy, so we decided to get some fresh air." Luka nodded his head as he put his hands in his pockets.

"Cool. Mind if I chauffeur you guys? Mom will probably hound you all night if you spend too much time alone with a boy she just met." Juleka shivered at the thought, something that caused Danny to chuckle a bit. She looked towards him, as if asking if he was okay with it.

"Sure." Stated Danny. "I wouldn't mind. I don't want to get Juleka in trouble or anything." The local girl sighed in relief, grateful that she didn't have to make the decision this time. In no time flat, the trio left the ship to explore the city.

Meanwhile

Inside Marinette's room, the Kwami were allowed to be out and about. Both Tiki and Pollen were sitting on her desk with their favorite snacks, munching away in order to recover their energy. Marinette drew a bit in her sketchbook while Chloe sat on her chaise lounge.

"Looks like the plan is staying on schedule." Stated the designer. "I think everything will work out just fine." The blonde of the duo harrumphed as she rested her head in her hand.

"As long as Kim didn't jinx us earlier. I swear if something goes wrong, I am stomping on his foot." Marinette rolled her eyes as she let loose a chuckle.

"Just don't do it too hard. You know how much he likes swimming with his girlfriend." Chloe made no comment as she remained in the same position. Marinette smiled as she put her pen down. Picking up her sketchbook, she turned towards her friend.

The designer poked at the page she was working on, tapping loud enough to get her attention. "What do you think?" Chloe looked in the Ladybug hero's direction, only to gasp as a smile formed on her face. Inscribed on the page were plans for a doll house that looked just like the Dupain-Cheng family bakery. There were even working drawers and cabinets, the latter big enough to store two to three cookies in.

"I love it! It's so adorable!" Marinette grinned as she closed the book.

"I know, right? I figured I'd make it for Tiki so she can have a secure place to sleep. Not to mention she can grab a cookie without having to get me as long as she keeps track of how many cookies she eats. I can try to make one for Pollen based on a beehive." Chloe's eyes shined like stars as she nodded her head.

"Yes please! I think it'd be a wonderful idea!" Marinette quickly made note of this request, sticking the note to the inside of her diary. A knock was heard from the trap door to her room, causing her to put the book in its trap box and the kwami to hide. The knocking occurred once again, this time faster and harder.

"Come in!" The trap door opened, revealing that the new arrival was Jazz. The redhead walked up the ladder as the local duo nodded towards her. "Hey Jazz! Everything alright downstairs?" The redhead shook her head in denial, an annoyed frown on her face.

"Not really." answered the redhead. "Everyone started panicking and Rose swore using a book title. I didn't know she read Paradise Lost." The two locals looked to each other in shock, a sinking feeling in their guts. Chloe looked at the redhead, her eye twitching slightly.

"What's going on down there?" questioned the blonde. "We had a plan and Paradise Lost is the panic code." Jazz sounded her understanding as she nodded her head.

"That makes more sense. Apparently, they can't get any reservations for some restaurants. On top of it all, Danny and Juleka vanished." The hidden heroes suddenly rushed forward, their Kwamis phasing into their bags. Jazz had to move out of the way as the duo nearly fell in an attempt to get down the ladder.

The bakery and the area outside were in utter chaos. Most of the group was outside looking for Danny and Juleka while Rose was breathing in and out of a paper bag, Sabrina patting her back. The remaining girls returned from upstairs, Jazz gesturing to the duo in the building. "See what I mean?" Marinette rubbed Rose's shoulder to make her calm down some more.

"It's alright Rose." Reassured the designer. "Just take deep breaths. Everything will be okay." The normally cheery blonde removed the bag from her mouth, having regained some sense of control. She shook her head with a sad frown.

"No, it won't." whined Rose. "The plan's ruined! We can't get a reservation and they're not even here anymore. We'll never get them together!" Jazz raised her eyebrows in surprise at the outcry.

"That's what you guys were planning?" questioned the foreign redhead. "You really shouldn't worry about that. Danny had his own plan for that today. In fact, that's probably what they're up to right now?" The local girls in the room stopped what they were doing as they slowly turned her way.

"…Come again?" questioned Sabrina. "He actually planned on asking her out?" Jazz nodded her head in response.

"Oh yeah. I'm surprised he didn't tell me he left. He planned to go on a walk with her and take advantage of the fact that a lot of people would be at the convention. He'll be looking for the best spot he can think of to ask her out." Rose's expression suddenly brightened as she held her hands together.

"Ooh!" cried the cheery girl. "That sounds so romantic! We have to find them so we can see it happen! Let's get everyone together and check the Eiffel Tower first." Sabrina stood by her side as she nodded, only for a green net to ensnare them and send them tumbling outside.

"Sabrina!" cried Chloe. "Rose!" Chloe was about to run to aid the duo, only to get caught against the wall in a glowing green goop. "MY HAIR!" Jazz and Marinette turned towards the kitchen; the foreign redhead was shocked to see Skulker standing in the doorway.

"Oh, don't trouble yourselves." Mocked the hunter. "I can find my prey on my own." Jazz growled as she moved her hand towards her purse.

"What are you doing here, Skulker?" growled the tourist. "Shouldn't you be back in the ghost zone dreaming about being a good hunter?" Skulker frowned, actually looking hurt by the insult.

"Hey! I am a good hunter, and a good hunter follows their prey wherever they go. Of course, I can't have any surprises." The ghost grinned as he aimed his hand at the duo. He fired a ghost ray at the duo, forcing them to dodge and hide.

Skulker chuckled to himself as he looked over the area. "Now that that's taken care of… Ooh! A croissant. Dibs!"

The villain grabbed the croissant off the counter, only to find Danny's note. "'Went for a walk. Meet you at the Eiffel Tower. Danny.' This'll be too easy, Whelp."

The spirit turned intangible as he flew out of the building. Jazz and Marinette peeked out from their hiding spots, quickly taking in the damage. Marinette was the first to stand up as she looked around.

"What a mess." Groaned the bakers' daughter. "I take it since you knew him, that creep was a ghost." Jazz nodded her head in response.

"Yeah." Revealed the nature girl. "He calls himself the Ghost Zone's greatest hunter, but he's just a booger in a robot suit. All we have to do is break his suit and… He'll go straight for Danny!" Marinette frowned seriously as she nodded her head.

"Get Chloe unstuck from the wall. I'm going to see if I can find the Miraculous Heroes on patrol." While she didn't like the idea of putting off giving Danny aid, Jazz nodded as she ran over to the blonde. Marinette watched as the tourist pulled out a tube of some kind before she ran for the kitchen. She saw that the closet was welded shut, the sounds of banging coming from the other side.

"Help!" cried Tom. "We're trapped! Someone unlock the door! Hello!?" Marinette ran over to the door, cupping her hands in front of her mouth.

"It's been welded shut by a ghost!" cried the designer. "I'm going to get Ladybug, so the Miraculous Cure should fix it!" Sabine gasped from the other side.

"A ghost!?" cried the Asian woman. "Be careful, Marinette!" The girl nodded her head with a smile.

"I will. Just hang tight!" She quickly ran out the back door, opening up her bag to find Tiki inside. "Any ideas on how to fight a ghost? Think Chat's Cataclysm could do the job?" The kwami shook her head in denial.

"Chat Noir would have to make physical contact with the spirit to do anything." Revealed Tiki. "He might be able to mess with it a bit if his hand passes through the area of intangibility, but we'd need something that could actually hit it. I think I have an idea, but we'll have to see the master. You need to work fast." Marinette nodded as her little companion flew out of the bag.

"Tiki: Spots On!" With the transformation triggered, Marinette immediately transformed into Ladybug. She zipped off across the city, racing towards the home of Master Fu. Meanwhile, Jazz was carefully applying some liquid meant to dissolve ectoplasm to Chloe, happy she grabbed it just in case something went horribly wrong like this. Soon the blonde was relieved from the wall as she was helped onto the floor.

"There we go." Sighed Jazz. "I recommend rinsing your outfit in hot water before washing it. I'd also take a shower as soon as possible. Ectoplasm can cause the skin to itch for a while." Chloe growled as she finally found the strength to stand on her own two feet.

"When I get my hands on that hunk of junk, I am going to rip it apart!" cried the mayor's daughter. She looked outside to see that the others had arrived to help get Sabrina and Rose untangled from the net. She then looked at Jazz with a serious frown. "Let's gather everyone up and head for the Eiffel Tower like Rose said. Hopefully we'll find Danny and Juleka before that freak does."

Jazz nodded as she rushed off with the blonde. Soon the group was making their way along the road, Chloe slipping off as they passed by one of the buildings. It took a few buildings for Jazz to notice this absence, stopping as she looked around the area. She was about to alert the others, only to feel herself be pulled upwards by a wire. She nearly screamed, only to find herself on a rooftop.

"Hey! I'm kind of in a hurry you…" Jazz's insult died in her throat as she realized that it was Ladybug who pulled her to the rooftops. "Ladybug! Thank goodness.

My brother is in trouble! A ghost followed us from Amity Park and…" Ladybug held up her hand in response.

"Don't worry." Reassured the ladybug hero. "Mrs. Dupain-Cheng told me everything, including your advice for how to take care of him." Jazz grinned as she nodded her head.

"Perfect! So… why pull me up here when I was already on my way to the Eiffel Tower?" Ladybug responded by presenting a brown box that was hexagonal in shape.

"While our team is usually rather capable of taking out hard to destroy akuma, we actually have to be able to hit him. That's where you come in. Jasmine Fenton, this is the Ox Nose Ring; The Miraculous of Determination, something you have in spades. You will use it for the greater good." Jazz looked shocked beyond all belief as she had the box placed in her hands.

The redhead truly didn't know how to respond as she looked down at the box. "Once the job is done, you will return it to me. I trust someone as responsible as yourself would be the right person for the job." Jazz smiled as she opened the box, liking the fact that a hero called her responsible.

A blue light nearly blinded her as a little being formed into existence mid-air. The creature was a kwami with grayish blue with narrow black eyes. He also had nostrils, lighter grayish blue ox horns on his head, and a long and skinny tail with a thicker tip. Jazz did her best to not childishly call out how cute the little creature looked. The Kwami looked over the redhead, humming as he adopted a thinking pose.

"I am concerned that my holder does not look incredibly strong." Stated the ox-like creature. Jazz frowned, not liking that she was being judged for her appearance. The little creature turned towards Marinette, having a genuine look of concern. "Are you sure it's the best pick to pair us?" Jazz stomped her foot, causing the little bull to look her way.

"Hey!" cried the redhead. "I may not be the strongest, but I have a little brother who's in trouble. Whether you help or not, I'm going to do my best to help him. Ladybug chose for us to work together, so the least you can do is try." The kwami hummed as he gave the girl another once over.

"A strong, protective spirit." He smiled as he returned to a free floating state. "I can work with that. I am Stompp. To use my power, just say 'Stompp, Make Way!'" Jazz nodded as she looked down at the miraculous in question.

The relic took the form of a nose ring with an open section with the tips of the edges being rounded. It was dark blue in color with five black spikes around its outer edge. With a bit of a wince, Jazz clamped it into her nose. It changed form to appear as a black nose ring with a pink stripe in the middle. She took a deep breath as she struck a powerful pose.

"Stompp, Make Way!" The bull kwami flew into the miraculous, causing Jazz to sneeze as it returned to its original form. The spikes of the nose ring turned pale yellow, signifying the activation of its awesome power. The foreigner felt a well of power grow within her, causing her muscles to grow slightly. She couldn't help but punch forward in response to this newfound strength of hers.

As she completed the attack, a pair of navy blue gloves formed on her fist as blue energy began to flow over her. A black jacket began to form as the sleeves materialized first. The collar of the jacket depicted golden bull horns as it flared out towards her shoulders. Navy blue tights with golden rings hanging off the side formed next, leading to navy blue boots as she stomped her feet. She pulled her hair back as a navy blue mask depicting a bull's head formed over it, the bull's eyes being the black glass that allowed her to see.

A dark blue sledgehammer with gold detailing and a handle formed on her back, attached by a leather belt that looped around her torso. The head of the mallet had engraving resembling an Ox's face and two gold horns on the side of the head resembling the Ox's horns. She put her hands on her hips as the logo for the Ox Miraculous appeared behind her, the symbol leaving as the world went back to normal. "As Princess Ox, I'll show Skulker just what happens when you mess with the bull!" Marinette nodded her head as she looked over the girl.

"Not bad." Complimented the local heroine. "Now I have a plan on how to take him down. For this to work, however, I'm gonna have to explain your power. As soon as we have everything set, we'll head straight for the Eiffel Tower." Jazz nodded, intent on making sure she did things right.

For the most part, Danny's plan was working out perfectly. Even with Luka chauffeuring them, he and Juleka were having so much fun. The duo took time to go over every area that they couldn't cover upon the Fenton family's first day in the city, having a few embarrassing moments along the way. Such as the case where they walked around a flower shop ran by an elderly woman, the owner calling them a lovely couple. Juleka saw it as something she wished would happen while Danny was reminded once again of the goal of this little walk.

Soon they were nearing the Eiffel Tower, the most romantic spot in Paris. With the comment of her and Danny looking like an adorable couple, Juleka couldn't help but fantasize about Danny asking her to go out with him next to this international monument of love. Said ghost boy gulped, realizing that this would be the last spot he could think of for the perfect time to achieve his goal. He was about to bring up taking a seat when he noticed his crush stop in her tracks. He decided to follow her line of vision, hoping that everything was okay.

Her attention was on a particular ice cream cart where a young couple appeared to be waiting on an order. The owner of the cart was a tall man with a big round belly, broad shoulders, a chubby neck, short brown hair, rose-ish black eyes, and a small, thin brown mustache. He wore a short-sleeved white top with dark blue stripes, dark gray pants, black shoes, a dark blue beret on his head, a thin red scarf around his neck which he ties at the front, and a blue apron. The man acted rather eccentrically when scooping their ice cream, though Danny could tell there was a certain charm to it. He sent a smile Juleka's way as the couple walked away from the stand.

"You look rather interested in that ice cream over there." Commented the ghost boy. "Is there something special about it, or are you in the mood for some?" Juleka blushed, realizing that she was looking too long. Part of her wanted to go with the latter answer, scared that her crush wouldn't agree to it. Remembering the advice of the girls', however, she decided to take a risk.

"That's André's ice cream cart, Sweethearts Ice Cream." Answered the bashful girl. "He's scary accurate when it comes to matching people together with his ice cream. Two people could walk up separately and they could end up matching based on the flavors. I've seen several of my friends who were in a relationship walk up separately and end up matching, though I've never actually tried it myself." Danny's eyes widened, realizing the opportunity he had as he blushed.

"Sweet! I say we should get some. Maybe we'll be able to find out who our matches are. I mean… unless you don't want to." Juleka gulped as she nodded her head.

"Okay. I'll go first." Danny allowed the local girl to walk up first, feeling the pin he made practically burning in his pocket. If they matched, it would be the ultimate go ahead he needed. André immediately noticed Juleka upon her approach, sending her a big grin.

"Little Juleka!" cheered the big man. "So good to see you! I don't see any of your friends around. What brings you here?" The girl fought the urge to back down as she kept her hands in her pockets.

"I… I'd like a Sweethearts Ice Cream. I'm ready to start looking and I'm hoping you can give me the courage I need." The ice cream man sounded his joy as he stretched his arms to the sides.

"How wonderful! I shall use the power of love to match you with your perfect partner!" He quickly pulled out a cone as he opened up all of the flavors. He looked over everything with the scoop in hand. Juleka watched with bated breath, seeing as the man had never taken long to work up the perfect match before.

André cheered as the image popped in his head. "I've got it! Black for his hair, blue for his eyes, green for the secret he keeps inside, and white chocolate shavings for the purity of his heart!" Juleka felt her heart skip a beat, slowly accepting the cone. She dared not look at the boy of her dreams, knowing it would potentially invalidate the experience for him.

Speaking of said boy, Danny's heart rate had now surpassed that of the average human's rate. Those were his colors, given to HIS crush. He looked back at Luka, the cool boy resting against a nearby lamppost with a knowing smile on his face. He sent the ghost boy a thumbs up before waving him on. Danny nodded his head before running over to the stand.

"Excuse me!" cried the foreigner. André looked away from Juleka as he watched the ghostly hero approach him. "I'm here on vacation and I heard your ice cream is really good. I'm hoping to try the Sweetheart Ice Cream." The ice cream man sounded his interest as he pulled up another cone.

"I'm always happy to help a new customer with the power of love! I see her now! Black for her hair, red for her eyes, green for the happiness in her life, and a drizzle of chocolate for the courage of a tiger hidden inside." Danny felt the tiger pin practically roaring at him, surprised by just how much this man seemed to guess on a whim. He received his own ice cream before walking towards Juleka.

Neither of them found the strength to speak, currently sitting on a bench with the perfect view of the Eiffel Tower. They had already taken time to sample their frozen treats, hoping it would relieve the tension they were feeling. To their dismay, it only served to make the awkward aura between them rise. The signs were obvious, so much so that even Danny could have figured it out two years ago. The ghost boy cleared his throat as he tried to work up his courage.

"So… looks like we might just match. I mean… you can't get closer than this." Juleka nodded, constantly repeating the advice given to her in her head.

"Yeah." Agreed the shy girl. "I mean, first Sam thinks we're flirting. Then the lady at the flower shop says that we look like a cute couple. With this being the cherry on top, people might start to think we're dating." Seeing the perfect segway, Danny quickly reached his free hand into his pocket.

"I mean… would that be such a bad thing?" Juleka looked his way, her eyes widening at the question. "The two of us dating, I mean. Would it really be that bad of an idea if it were true?" Her heart beating nearly as fast as Danny's, the girl shook her head in denial.

"I don't think it'd be a bad idea. I mean, look at you. Smart, funny, kind hearted, handsome… The only thing that'd be dragging that possibility down is a forgettable loser like me." Danny put his ice cream down as he gently placed a hand on Juleka's shoulder.

"How could someone so beautiful, fiery, and strong be forgettable? I never want you to say that about yourself ever again. Don't even believe it for a second. You are important to so many people as a friend and especially a sister if your brother has anything to say about it. And to me…"

Danny finally found the courage to pull out the tiger pin, displaying it to his crush. "You're my Tigress." The world seemed to light up around Juleka, as if there had not been a single star in the sky before. Quickly blushing, the ghost boy removed his other hand from the girl's face. "I mean… if you'd want to… would you want to…?"

He didn't have time to finish his question as Juleka suddenly wrapped him in a hug, thankfully having left her ice cream cone in the seat beside her. The warmth Danny felt was like nothing ever before, potentially even reaching his ghost core. He reciprocated the gesture, feeling relieved to have her in his arms. The normally gloomy girl did her best not to cry happy tears in an effort not to stain her crush's jacket. She pulled back as she looked him in the eye.

"Yes. I would love more than anything to go out with you, Danny Phantom." Danny blushed at the use of both of his identities, a sign that she wanted all of him. Juleka allowed him to place the pin on her jacket, the object proudly displayed on the right side. The two couldn't stop smiling, any emotion other than joy and love being pushed to the back.

Luka couldn't help but grin at the sight, having never seen his sister smile before. He could tell that this foreign boy actually made her happy. Nearby, in his shopping cart, André couldn't help but sigh in happiness. In his eyes, his ice cream once again brought about the power of love. To all who witnessed the scene, it felt like a blissful blast of cool air was spreading across the entire area of the Eiffel Tower.

Danny felt emboldened once again as he leaned forward, this time having no doubt in his mind. Juleka's face turned to one of shock, though there was definitely anticipation in her eyes. This moment was like in her dreams, something she'd been wanting ever since she actually had a face to put to the boy she loved. She was content to let everything play out, only to bring her hand to her face as she shivered. "Your breath is freezing."

The romantic atmosphere shattered for Danny as he allowed his eyes to open. He pulled back as he looked down, watching as a familiar trail of blue mist left his mouth. He clenched his fist as fear filled his eyes.

"No… No! Not now!" He looked around, trying to find whichever spirit dared to ruin the best moment of his entire vacation. He didn't have to look much longer, however, as Luka suddenly stood up from his leaning position.

"LOOK OUT!" cried the normally chill boy. Acting on instinct, Danny quickly grabbed Juleka bridal style as he leapt away from the bench. This reaction was perfectly timed as he avoided a missile that exploded into ectoplasm, leaving a huge hole in the outdoor furniture. People around the area immediately fled the scene, including André who packed up his cart and scurried away. Danny landed with a skid as Skulker's laughter filled the air.

"Courting, the easiest time to catch the ultimate prey." Sighed the hunter. "Congratulations, by the way. I'll be sure to hang her pelt next to yours. After all, it's not every day one catches a halfa and its mate." Danny slowly put Juleka down on the ground, the area around them growing colder by the second.

"Skulker…" growled Danny, his voice taking on the echoed voice again. Not caring that Luka was nearby, Danny transformed into Phantom in the midst of the public. This time four blades appeared behind him, the blades seeming to extend slightly in the midst of the decreased temperatures. "You picked a terrible time to pick a fight with me." The ghost hunter's eyes widened, reflected by the facemask of his mech.

"Your core has evolved. Many spirits long for the day where they can ascend to a higher power like this. It is our equivalent of the Awakening of mortals." The villain grinned as he prepared his rocket launcher yet again. "You are officially the rarest creature of both worlds, meaning I shall get to put my taxidermy skills to good use."

The villain tried to pull the trigger on his weapon, only to find that it wouldn't move. He looked to the object, only to find that it was encased in ice. Skulker dropped the weapon as he leaned forward, having been punched in his mech's chest area by Danny. The metal screeched as an indent was created where the fist was. The villain was sent flying through a nearby tree as Danny grabbed two of his ice swords.

"I'm going to beat you so hard, you'll take weeks to regenerate in the Ghost Zone!" Danny dashed forward with one of his blades raised above his head, intent on cutting into the hunter. Skulker was forced to roll out of the way, watching as Danny's attack froze the ground where the blade struck. He took off into the air, nearly avoiding another slash from the hero. He tried using his net gun, only for Danny to freeze it with his Ice Eye Lasers.

"You brat! Quit breaking my weaponry!" Danny allowed the blades to spin around him as he flew up into the air.

"As long as you keep popping up and ruining my days, I'm going to destroy every last toy you've got!" The ghost hero let loose a roar as he once again rushed towards Skulker. The villain tried going intangible, only for Danny to do the same as he crashed into him. They remained this way as they flew through a few buildings, a few sources of water inside being frozen by Danny's aura of cold. They soon returned to the area they were before, turning tangible just in time for the others to arrive.

"Whoa!" cried Kim. "Phantom's already fighting that hunting ghost guy! This is so awesome!" The athlete took out his phone, videoing the battle as Phantom punched the villain. The ghost boy then threw Skulker to the ground, but Kim's focus was interrupted as Alix pulled on his ear.

"Video later!" cried the tomboy. "We gotta find Danny and Juleka and get them out of here!" The athlete chuckled in embarrassment as he put the phone away. Before anyone could begin the search, Phantom suddenly dropped with two blades in his hands. Skulker tried to use his ecto-blade attachment to block the assault, the weapon chipping as Danny clashed against the blade.

Danny inched closer with the blades, causing more cracks in the hunter's weapon. The other two blades lowered towards Skulker's head compartment, spinning like drills as they slowly approached him. In spite of the situation, the villain couldn't help but laugh in the face of defeat.

"What? Did you just remember a joke or have you lost your mind?" Skulker grinned as he used his free hand to grab Danny's arm.

"I knew you'd get in close when enraged." Informed the hunter. "It seems you forgot about one of my recent upgrades." Danny's eyes widened as the arm of Skulker's suit began to glow blue in some areas. He looked up to see Juleka and Luka hiding behind a tree, only to scream as he was suddenly assaulted by an electrical charge. He dropped his blades as he was thrown to the side, the ones floating on either side of Skulker's head falling to the ground.

Danny writhed on the ground, feeling the electricity still surging through him. Skulker stood up from his spot on the ground, holding out his still glowing hand as a small rod popped out of the palm. "I also added a small feature. I'm sure you can guess what it does." Juleka's eyes widened as she saw sparks form at the end of the rod.

"No!" cried the girl. She tried to run forward, only for Luka to grab her. Lightning arced off the extension, soaring towards its target. Danny growled, trying to get one of his blades to move. A bolt nearly reached his face, only for it to run out of energy as the sound of metal being crushed rang through the air.

"HANDS OFF!" cried Princess Ox. She had swung her mallet, crushing the mechanical arm in the process. Skulker was forced to walk backwards as his mech's limb was basically torn off.

"I JUST HAD THAT POLISHED!" roared the hunter. He turned towards the new hero, only to recognize the nose ring she was wearing. "A Miraculous!? Who in the Infinite Realms are you!?" Jazz rested the hammer on her shoulder, deciding to lean more on her serious side.

"I am Princess Ox. While my time here is short, I will use my strength to return you to where you belong." Jazz swung the hammer around again, hoping to hit the head of the suit. She jumped after him, her weapon raised over her head. Skulker was about to fly away when something zoomed behind him.

"I don't think so!" cried Ladybug. She landed on the ground below the villain, quickly catching his mech's foot with her yoyo. Skulker gasped as the girl was able to keep him in place, allowing Jazz to smash the other leg of his mech rather easily.

"Stop breaking my armor!" growled the villain. "You realize this isn't cheap, right! I have to expend a lot of my energy to make this armor! I become bedridden every time I reform it!" Marinette smiled as she kept her hold on her yoyo.

"Welcome to Paris, where supervillains who do evil have their things broken. Phantom is a friend of ours, so surrender unless you want to see what we're really capable of." Skulker grinned as he turned intangible, making the rope of the yoyo fall off of his suit's ankle.

"Oh please, do show me what a Miraculous is capable of." The villain returned to normal as he rushed at Ladybug, his cracked blade at the ready. The heroine backflipped as he swung at her, forced to stay mid-air due to the loss of his suit's leg. He tried to fire a ghost ray, only to miss as he had to fly upwards to dodge Princess Ox's hammer strike. He was suddenly kicked downward from above, Honey Bee's foot striking the head of his suit.

"Sending him back your way, Ladybug!" cried Chloe. Princess Ox readied her hammer, only for Skulker to turn intangible again. Jazz grinned as she wound up her swing more.

"Resistance!" cried the scarlet redhead. A blue energy flowed over her, as well as her mallet. The weapon crashed right into the intangible villain, destroying the torso of the suit. Skulker returned to normal from shock, only the head remaining from his armor. The facemask popped open, revealing the angry little booger inside.

"You stupid brats!" cried the real Skulker in his squeaky voice. "Ganging up on me in the middle of my hunt is not fair!" Jazz crossed her arms as Marinette shook her head.

"You shouldn't have come to Paris then." Stated Ladybug. "Now, let's make this quick and easy. Lucky Charm!" The insects wasted no time in leaving the yoyo, creating a rather large object. To Jazz's surprised at the appearance of the construct as it landed with a thud.

"A Fenton Ghost Portal?" questioned Princess Ox. "Well, isn't that convenient?" Skulker growled as he floated up from his suit.

"Like heck I'm going back now! I'm not going back without my suit again!" The little guy flew as fast as he could, becoming intangible to try and avoid capture. He laughed maniacally as he nearly left the park, thinking of all the ways he could try to obtain their miraculous. Before he could even pass the fence, he fell to the ground as he was encased in a block of ghostly ice.

"That's… how it feels… to be sneak attacked." Huffed Danny. "Not very 'ice', is it?" Juleka sighed in relief from her spot as Luka rolled his eyes. Jazz turned the ghost portal on, the familiar green swirl forming within. Phantom jerked a bit, still feeling the lightning that coursed through him, before throwing Skulker into the swirl like a pebble in a lake.

"Bye-bye, little ghostie." Teased Ladybug. She tapped on the portal rather hard, causing it to power off and for its form to glow. "Miraculous Ladybug!" The portal flew into the air as it erupted into the usual swarm of Ladybugs. They first spun around Danny, causing him to sigh in relief as the damage done to him was reversed.

As soon as they finished healing the boy, they spread out to the things broken or frozen in Skulker's time in Paris. This included the door to the bread closet in the Dupain-Cheng bakery. Tom opened the door, sighing in relief as his wife hugged him. As soon as their job was finished, they disappeared into the universe as sparkles. Danny sighed as he felt all over himself.

"I so need to invest in rubber padding or something. That was not fun." He soon heard beeping from Princess Ox, causing the girl to feel her nose ring. "Looks like we have to do the tradition without Chat this time." Ladybug nodded her head in response.

"This situation was pretty localized, so I'm not surprised that he didn't arrive. I think we can skip it this time, as Princess Ox is almost out of juice. Catch you on the flip side, Phantom." Ladybug quickly took off, Honey Bee and Princess Ox following after her. Realizing that the others were fast approaching, he decided to bail.

"I have to be somewhere else! Farewell, citizens!" Danny blasted off over the horizon, only to turn invisible as he flew back. He hid behind a separate tree before turning back. He ran towards the others just in time as Kim looked around in confusion.

"Hey, we still haven't seen Danny and Juleka." Stated the athlete. "I hope they're o… Oh!" Danny waved to the group as he ran over, Juleka and Luka walking out from the trees. Rose looked in the same direction, gasping as a smile formed on her face.

"Hey!" cried the cheerful blonde. "We were looking for you guys! We were so worried when that Skulker guy attacked and raced to your area. Did you guys see what happened?" Juleka nodded her head as she rubbed her arm.

"He fired a rocket at us, trying to get back at Danny for the Fenton inventions Phantom ends up using." Lied the normally gloomy girl. "Danny managed to get me out of the way of the attack because Luka called it out." Rose gasped in shock, surprised by the explanation. The others seemed pleased with this answer, save for one. Max adjusted his glasses a bit as he looked towards Danny.

"And just where did you go after that, Danny?" questioned the game designer. "You came from a different direction than Juleka and Luka. That would imply that you ran off after rescuing her. It was not your intent to risk your life and lead the spirit known as Skulker away, was it?" Danny gulped, trying to find a good explanation.

"He ended up being locked in one of the men's bathrooms due to one of the ghost's attacks." Lied Luka. Danny looked in his direction, surprised by the lie. "Skulker was about to go in after him when Phantom arrived and started the fight proper. I'm glad Phantom did come in, seeing as something important happened before the attack." Luka sent a smile Danny's way, sending him a wink where no one could see it.

'He knows!' thought Danny in fear. He took a moment to think about it as he looked down. 'He knows… and he's defending me.' He smiled as he nodded towards the cool kid. Sabrina had an excited and hopeful smile on her face as she walked forwards a bit.

"What happened?" questioned the local redhead. "Is there something we need to be told?" Juleka smiled, deciding to let her new boldness shine through.

"Why tell, when we can show?" questioned the confident girl. She walked over towards Danny, causing the foreign boy to release a wide grin. He wrapped his arm around her shoulders gently as she wrapped her own around his waist. She made sure to proudly display her tigress pin, treating it like a badge of honor. It didn't take long for the others to catch on, Rose unable to hold in her squeal of excitement.

"YES!" cried the cheerful girl. "Finally! Operation Dinner Date might have been a failure, but you guys finally got together! Looks like Kim's jinx didn't hurt you guys getting together after all!" Danny frowned as he looked at Kim, not once removing his arm from Juleka.

"So it was your jinx that brought Skulker here." Growled the Fenton boy. Kim chuckled in embarrassment as he rubbed the back of his head. Before anything could be done to him, Marinette and the remaining girls ran towards the group. She stopped to take some deep breaths as she had her hands on her knees.

"We're here!" cried Marinette. "Chloe got lost along the way trying to help me flag down Ladybug and we just found Jazz before…" Her words died in her throat as she noticed the scene in front of her. Juleka smiled as she waved at the hidden hero. Marinette grinned excitedly as she lightly elbowed Chloe, prompting the blonde to look.

"Oh finally!" cried the mayor's daughter with a smile. "For a moment I thought it would never happen!" Jazz looked towards the happy couple, a frown on her face.

"Dang it!" cried the foreign redhead. "I didn't get any pictures! I missed the whole thing! You should have told me when you left!" Danny was about to apologize to his sister, only for Luka to whistle as he held up his phone.

"I got the video of how it happened and pictures to go along with it." Stated the older brother. "I'd feel bad as an older sibling if I didn't get something. I was thinking of posting it over the guild, but I can show you guys first." The group suddenly began to crowd around him, begging to be shown the footage. Juleka broke away from Danny with a shocked look on her face.

"Luka!" cried the tigress. "Don't you dare post those! I want to tell everyone in the guild with Danny before any videos go out!" Danny let a smile form on his face, happily watching the scene. He walked towards the group, looking to throw his own two cents into the competition.

On a nearby roof, the ghost vultures were watching over the scene. The lead one was using a pair of binoculars over his eyes. The other two were lazing around, one of them enjoying a croissant. The green buzzard smiled as he lowered the objects.

"Looks like we have something to report to Plasmius after all." Stated the specter. "He'll be interested in knowing about the Miraculous being active. But first… time to milk this vacation for all it's worth."

James: Another chapter complete! It blasts off at the speed of light to reach readers like you for your viewing pleasure. The fight near the end was a little short, though it was obvious that starting the relationship between Danny and Juleka was the bigger goal of the chapter. The boss also set up for this Plasmius character to learn about the Miraculous, so that'll be something in the next arc. Anyway, the next chapter will be a smaller one, but still be excited as this chapter has foreshadowed something huge that happens in it.

Now, I have to prepare to help the boss bring in this Deadpool guy so I'll close it out here. What did you think of the chapter? Did you like how Danny and Juleka finally got together? How about Jazz's short time as Princess Ox? If she were to get a miraculous permanently, which one do you think would fit her? Either the American set or the set in Paris would be valid choices, though the American one would be preferred.

Let us know what you think down below, and the boss will try to get back to you ASAP. Also, don't forget to let him know if you prefer your reviews to be answered in the chapter or directly through messaging. It would really help him out. Now if you'll please excuse me, I have to choose the best team to slow that homicidal shipper down. This has been James of the Author's Guild, signing off.
