Meeting with Chairman Rose
As the group exits Hulbury Stadium, they were surprised to see Chairman Rose's assistant, Oleana, standing in front of it.
"Do not keep the chairman waiting. Head to the seafood restaurant- The Captain's Table." said Oleana. "Chairman Rose is the kind of man who gets downhearted if he doesn't take care of things he needs to right away. Go to the seafood restaurant as soon as possible, so as not to keep the chairman waiting."
"We'll be there after we drop our Pokemon off at the Pokemon Center." said Lincoln. Oleana nods, then turns and walks away.
"We should hurry." said Luna. The group quickly head to the Pokemon Center and drop off their Pokemon. After that was done, they quickly head to the seafood restaurant, where a small crowd of people were gathered outside, and go inside. Everyone takes in the elegant decor and were amazed.
"This place is exquisite." said Lola. They soon see Chairman Rose and Oleana, and to their surprise, they also see Sonia. The three turn when they see Lincoln's group approaching them.
"Hello, everyone." greeted Chairman Rose. "Congratulations on your victories."
"Oh, were you invited, too?" Sonia asked Lincoln's group.
"Hi, Sonia!" said Leni.
"Yeah, we were invited." said Lola.
"You two know each other? That's great!" said Chairman Rose. "Come now; please be seated." Everyone soon sits down and order their meals.
"Hulbury is a seafood town." said Chairman Rose. "Naturally, if one is going to eat here, the obvious choice is the local cuisine! Everything on the menu is delicious." He then notices Sam. "Pardon me, but I don't believe we met. Are you a friend of Lincoln and his group?"
"Yes, sir." said Sam. "My name is Sam Sharp."
"Well, it's nice to meet you, young lady." said Chairman Rose.
"Sir, would it be okay if Sam participated in the Galar League?" asked Luna.
"Sure; I really want this year's competition to be the biggest one yet, and the more trainers there are, the better." said Chairman Rose. He takes out an endorsement letter and gives it to Sam. "Just bring that to the stadium in Motostoke and they'll take care of the rest."
"Thanks, sir." said Sam. Their meals soon arrived, and everyone eats.
"This food is so fancy!" said Lola.
"Totes!" said Leni. As the Louds and their friends ate, Chairman Rose starts to talk to Sonia about something.
"By the way, how is Professor Magnolia getting on?" Chairman Rose asked Sonia. "I'm quite indebted to her, you know. She was the one who figured out how to unleash the power of Wishing Stars and use that power to Dynamax Pokemon."
"Really?" asked Lincoln after he swallows his food.
"Yes, we would never have been able to create the Dynamax Bands without her." said Chairman Rose. Sonia lets out a sigh of worry.
"She was saying there's still so much we don't know about Dynamaxing. It's causing her some worry." said Sonia. "She even made me take a Power Spot Detector with me when I started travelling."
"A Power Spot Detector!" replied Chairman Rose. "That's the device that allowed me to discover the Power Spots!"
"What are Power Spots?" asked Lana.
"Locations that emit Galar particles and allow Pokemon to Dynamax!" answered Chairman Rose.
"You mean like the stadiums here and in Turffield?" asked Lincoln.
"Precisely." said Chairman Rose. "I don't like hearing that Professor Magnolia is so worried, though. If only there was something I could do."
"Any ideas, sir?" asked Lincoln.
"Sonia, it may be good for you to visit the vault in Hammerlocke." suggested Chairman Rose. "I believe the key to unlocking the secrets of the Dynamax phenomenon lies in the history preserved there."
"Understood, Chairman." said Sonia. "I will arrange a meeting with Ms Sonia. However, I believe it is about time we get going, Chairman."
"Hmm, but I've hardly had a chance to talk to the kids about their recent victories; especially Lincoln and Leni's; they both defeated Nessa's Dynamax Drednaw with regular Pokemon!" said Chairman Rose. "It's regrettable, but I suppose it can't be helped. If something needs to get done, there's no time like the present, after all!"
"I'm sure there'll be another time, sir." said Lincoln.
"I look forward to it, but for now, I bid you all farewell!" said Chairman Rose. Everyone watches as Chairman Rose and Oleana exit the restaurant.
"Does he think he's doing me a favor?" Sonia asked herself. "He's right that the vault would be a good place to look for info on the legends, but..."
"But what?" asked Leni.
"Never mind that." said Sonia. "You all got your Water Badges, yeah? Defeating Nessa was no small feat."
"It wasn't so difficult when you're as perfect as I am." said Lola as she whips her hair to the side.
"Nessa's a good friend of mine. Perhaps I should drop in on her." said Sonia. "Until next time, everyone." She then exits the restaurant.
"It's so rad that Chairman Rose is letting Sam compete in the Gym Challenge!" said Luna.
"I know!" said Sam.
"Let's go get our Pokemon back." said Lana. Everyone soon exits the restaurant and were surprised to see Hop outside.
"Hi, Hop!" said Lincoln.
"Hey, everyone!" said Hop. "You all got your Grass and Water Badges!"
"We sure did!" said Lana.
"In that case, the next stop is Motostoke and the Fire Gym Leader, Kabu!" said Hop.
"That's perfect!" said Lincoln. "We can get Sam registered while we continue our Gym Challenges there!"
"Yeah!" said Luna.
"Speaking of Kabu; I hear he's in Galar Mine No. 2 undergoing some special training!" said Hop.
"Where is that?" asked Lana. Hop points down the road towards a large tunnel.
"That's it over there!" said Hop. "We'll need for Kabu to be done and return to Motostoke before we can take him on!"
"We'll do some training in the meantime." said Clyde.
"Good idea!" said Hop before running off. The group then goes to the Pokemon Center and pick up their Pokemon. After that, they set up camp somewhere in the marketplace area and call their families in Royal Woods.
"Hey, kids!" said Lynn Sr.
"Hi, Dad!" said the Loud children.
"We saw you all whoop that Nessa lady good!" said Lynn Jr.
"And we saw that Gym Test you all did." said Howard McBride. "It seemed quite challenging."
"But you all did splendidly." said Harold McBride.
"Did you kids eat yet?" asked Rita.
"Chairman Rose treated us to dinner at a fancy seafood restaurant." said Lola.
"We also learned that there's a boat harbor here in Galar." said Lincoln.
"Really?" replied Lynn Sr.
"Maybe if Lisa can't figure out how to get us back to Royal Woods, maybe Gramps could pick us all up in his boat and bring us back there after we're done with the Galar League." suggested Lincoln.
"That's a great idea." said Rita. They all talked for a bit longer before ending the call. They all then decide to call it a day and go right to sleep.
