More Training and Evolutions
After everyone finished eating, they got to work training their Pokemon. They mainly focused on the ones that would have an advantage against fire types.
Unfortunately, Leni didn't really have any Pokemon that would've had an advantage against fire types; her family and friends want to try and solve that problem by taking her to the Wild Area and help her find at least a water type. Lincoln also decides to swap his Lucario for his Lycanroc. Clyde swapped his Liepard for his Quagsire, Lucy swapped her Umbreon for her Frillish, Lana traded her Tangrowth for her Palpitoad, Luna swapped her Linoone for her Carvanha, and Lola swapped her Ribombee and Cherrim for her Azurill and Staryu.
Lincoln mainly focused on his Gyarados, Lycanroc, and Raboot. His Gyarados learned Aqua Tail, and his Lycanroc while something else happened to his Raboot; he froze up and started to glow.
"Whoa! Raboot's evolving!" said Lincoln. Everyone gathers around Raboot and watches him change; when he finished, he was a lot taller, his ears stood straight up and he had tufts of fur coming out the side of his head, he had something like a crown that had a long thick tuft of red fur coming out of it; he looked like he was wearing a white sports jersey with navy blue trim, red pants with yellow fur trim, and navy blue leggings.
Lincoln then takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at his newly evolved Raboot.
"Cinderace, the Striker Pokemon, and the final form of Scorbunny. It's skilled at both offense and defense, and it gets pumped up when cheered on. But if it starts showboating, it could put itself in a tough spot." said Lincoln's Rotom Phone.
"That is so cool, Lincoln!" said Ronnie Anne.
"Yeah!" said Lincoln. "And he also learned a move called Pyro Ball."
Clyde mainly focused on his Urushifu and he learned Iron Head.
Luna focused on her Poliwag, Boldore, and mostly on her Carvanha because she hasn't really trained it yet; with Poliwag learning Rain Dance, her Carvanha learning Ice Fang, Screech, and Swagger; and her Boldore learning Rock Slide. Sometime during Carvanha's training, he started to glow.
"Dudes! Carvanha's evolving!" said Luna. Everyone gathers around Carvanha and watches him change before their eyes. When he finished, he looked like a navy blue shark with a shorter tail, and a yellow, four-pointed star on his forehead.
"Cool!" said Lana. Luna takes out her Rotom Phone and points it at her newly evolved Carvanha.
"Sharpedo, the Brutal Pokemon, and the evolved form of Carvanha. This Pokémon is known as the Bully of the Sea. Any ship entering the waters Sharpedo calls home will be attacked—no exceptions." said Luna's Rotom Phone.
"That sounds mean." said Leni.
"Wouldn't want to mess with this Pokemon out on the ocean." said Ronnie Anne.
"Don't mess with me and we'll get along just fine." said Sharpedo.
"We'll remember that." said Lincoln.
"Hey, Luna?" Lucy says from behind Luna, scaring her.
"Y-Yeah, little sis?" replied Luna after getting over her near heart attack.
"Master Mustard said before that my Haunter can evolve if he's traded to another trainer." said Lucy. "And I think your Boldore will evolve if traded also. Maybe we can trade our Pokemon to have them evolve, then trade them back after they do."
"Rockin' idea, sis." said Luna. She returns Boldore to her pokeball and Lucy returns Haunter to his. Using their Rotom Phones, Luna and Lucy traded their Pokemon to each other; soon after, they traded them back to each other. "Let's see what our Pokemon are now, Luce." She and Lucy toss their pokeballs; Boldore was now bigger, had four legs with a red crystal sticking out of each of them, her crystals were now longer, she now had a head with a pair of yellow hexagons that are red in the center. Lucy's Haunter was now bipedal, dark purple, with a roundish body. Luna points her Rotom Phone at her newly evolved Boldore.
"Gigalith, the Compressed Pokemon, and the final form of Roggenrola. Although its energy blasts can blow away a dump truck, they have a limitation— they can only be fired when the sun is out." said Luna's Rotom Phone.
"Rock on!" said Luna. Lucy points her Rotom Phone at her newly evolved Haunter.
"Gengar, the Shadow Pokemon, and the final form of Gastly. It is said to emerge from darkness to steal the lives of those who become lost in mountains." said Lucy's Rotom Phone.
"Wicked; and it seems Gengar now has the Cursed Body ability." said Lucy.
"Congratulations, you two." said Lincoln.
Lucy focuses on her Frillish for a while and she soon learned Hex, Brine, Recover, and Shadow Ball.
Clyde focuses on Quagsire and he soon learned Yawn and Aqua Tail.
Ronnie Anne's Wartortle learned Shell Smash and Iron Defense while her Lycanroc learned Roar.
Lana's Palpitoad learned Uproar and her Silcobra learned Dig.
Leni decides to focus on her Kirlia and Lopunny for now. Her Kirlia learned Calm Mind, and her Lopunny got stronger. Also during the training, her Kirlia starts to glow.
"My Kirlia's, totes, evolving!" said Leni. Everyone watches as Kirlia starts to change. When she finished, she was taller, her hair now curls over her face and down the sides of her head, her red protrusions were coming out her chest and back, and she looked like she was wearing a flowing white gown. Leni looks with awe as she pulls out her Rotom Phone and points it at her newly evolved Kirlia.
"Gardevoir, the Embrace Pokemon, and the final form of Kirlia. To protect its Trainer, it will expend all its psychic power to create a small black hole." said Leni's Rotom Phone.
"She's so beautiful." said Leni. "And my Rotom Phone says she knows Dazzling Gleam, Moonblast, and Healing Wish."
"Congratulations, sis!" said Luna.
Lola focused on her Brionne, Staryu, and Azurill. Brionne learned Encore, her Staryu learned Minimize, Swift, Psybeam, and Brine; and during the training, her Brionne and Azurill both started to glow.
"Hey! Brionne and Azurill are evolving!" said Lola. Everyone gathers around watches Lola's Pokemon start to change. When they were done, Lola was in awe of Brionne's new appearance.
Brionne's body was longer, it was mostly white and her flippers were longer, while her tail was blue with pink protrusions coming out of it, but the end of it being white; she had long, teal hair on the back of her head that was in a ponytail with two strings of pearls, on her head was a pink starfish, above her forehead, draped over her neck, and around her waist were three fins that were like a tiara, collar, and skirt.
"She's...magnificent." said Lola as she takes out her Rotom Phone and points it at her newly evolved Brionne.
"Primarina, the Soloist Pokemon, and the final form of Popplio. For Primarina, every battle's a stage. Its singing and the dancing of its balloons will mesmerize the audience." said Lola's Rotom Phone.
"This Pokemon truly suits me." said Lola as she walks up to her new Primarina and gazes upon her. "And this says she's part fairy type, which makes me love her more, and she knows a move called Sparkling Aria."
"What's Azurill like now?" asked Lana. They all look at Azurill and sees she looked like a mouse with a blue, ball-like, body.
"She's so cute, too!" said Lola as she points her Rotom Phone at her newly evolved Azurill.
"Marill, the Aquamouse Pokemon, and the evolved form of Azurill. Even after Marill swims in a cold sea, its water- repellent fur dries almost as soon as Marill leaves the water. That's why this Pokémon is never cold." said Lola's Rotom Phone.
"This says she's part water type now, she now knows Rollout, Bounce, Aqua Tail, and Play Rough." said Lola. She then focuses on her new Marill's training to get her caught up with her other Pokemon and shortly after, she starts glowing again.
"She's evolving again already?" asked Clyde.
"Today's another evolution day for us." said Ronnie Anne. Everyone watches as Marill starts to change. When she was done, her body was longer, as were her ears and arms, and the lower half of her body was white with bubble designs rising up from it.
"My Pokemon keep getting cuter!" said Lola as she points her Rotom Phone at her newly evolved Marill.
"Azumarill, the Aquarabbit Pokemon, and the final form of Azurill. These Pokémon create air-filled bubbles. When Azurill play in rivers, Azumarill will cover them with these bubbles." said Lola's Rotom Phone.
"Today's been interesting for us so far." said Clyde.
"Let's keep training." said Ronnie Anne.
Sam trained up her Pokemon for a while as well. Her Meowstic learned Role Play, and even though her Toxel didn't learn anything, something just as amazing happened, she started to glow.
"Hey! Toxel's evolving!" said Sam.
"Oh, come on; another evolution?!" said Ronnie Anne.
"She's gonna become a Toxtricity!" said Luna as she gets close to Sam so they can watch the evolution together. When she finished, although it looked like Luna's Toxtricity, her coloring was a little different; instead of a yellow belly and mohawk, she had a blue belly and mohawk.
"Why is Sam's Toxtricity's coloring different?" asked Lincoln.
"Maybe it's a Shiny one?" suggested Clyde. Out of curiosity, Sam points her Rotom Phone and her new Toxtricity.
"Toxtricity Low Key Form, the Punk Pokemon, and the evolved form of Toxel. It has an electrical organ on its chest. While generating electricity, it fills its surroundings with what sounds like the strumming of a bass guitar." said Sam's Rotom Phone.
"There are two different kinds of Toxtricities?" asked Luna.
"It sure seems that way." said Lincoln.
"And she has the same moves and ability as my Toxtricity does." said Luna.
"And I don't mind the blue; it matches my jacket and the bit of blue in my hair." said Sam.
"This has been so cool." said Sam.
"Can we go to the Wild Area?" asked Leni.
"You want to find a water Pokemon to help in your Motostoke Gym Battle?" asked Clyde.
"Totes." said Leni. Lincoln looks at his Rotom Phone's clock.
"We have several hours until it starts getting dark, so I don't see why we can't." said Lincoln.
"And maybe I can find some more Pokemon for myself?" suggested Sam.
"Rockin' idea, Sam." said Luna. They all return their Pokemon to their pokeballs and head towards Motostoke.
