"It's so touching." she said with a smile.

Jay reached over and turned off the movie, leaving the roomin a cozy silence.

Hailey nestled into his arms, feelijg the warmth and comfort of their shared moment.

Erin decided to get an early start and packed her suitcase.

After Gathering everything she needed, she headed toward the exit of the apartment building.

Hailing a taxi cab, she got inside.

"JFK Airport, Miss?" The driver asked.

Erin nodded and shut the door.

The driver nodded and drove toward the airport.

Leaving, Erin knew this was the right thing to do.

JFK Airport - 11:30 PM

Erin walked into the airport and headed to the check-in desk.

The bright lights buzzed overhead, and a tired looking attendant glanced up from her computer screen.

"Where to, Ma'am?" the attendant asked, her fingers poised over the keyboard.

"Chicago." Erin replied, her heart fluttering.

She'd dreamed of this moment, reuniting with Jay, her family, but she hoped they were going to be as excited as she is.

The attendant printed off Erin's boarding pass, and Erin clutched it, like it was a prized possession.

As she stepped away, she glanced back at the exit.

The city she was leaving behind felt both heavy and exhilarating.

Next Stop: Chicago. Erin took a deep breath and followed the signs towards security.

This is the start of Erin's return. This will has some ups and downs between her and Jay, maybe even the intelligence unit?
