INTRODUCTIONS, TRUST AND FRIENDSHIP

Spider-Man swung to the roof top he had spent the night and sat down. That fight was definitely something. He of course realized that there are a lot of things to be learnt to defeat the enemies much smoothly but at least the basics are still the same, protect people, defeat villains and then swing off to sunset.

'Oh yeah, Have a placement call with Ladybug and Chat Noir. But first, I need to eat. But how?' Peter removed his suit, under which is a cotton full sleeve shirt with lines ' PHYSICS IS THEORITICAL, BUT FUN IS REAL' and a stretchable pant. 'This pant is something. Thanks dr. banner.'

He always wore this before wearing the suit if he was stuck in a situation with no access to normal clothing. Removing the shirt and pant, he wore the suit and above it the shirt and pant. A bit uncomfortable but it will have to do for now.

As he walked, he saw a high school, and at once a sense of nostalgia hit him. He decided to take a job here before heading for food. But Peter didn't realize that he needed specific documents for the school to accept him. And of course he forgot all about it until he started talking to the principle.

'So Mr. Parker, you want a job as a science teacher here, I see. I would have asked for paper work but currently my work as principle has stopped me from teaching the students and you came at the nick of time to teach them. I will cut some slack for you. Here is a deal. If within 3 months I see no complaints from anyone and the students like you, the job is yours. Hopefully you won't disappoint me. When can you start?' Olga Mendeleiev said , the current principle of the school.

'I won't disappoint you, Miss Olga. I can start from tomorrow.' Peter said as he filled out all necessary information before heading out.

'Ok Pete, parker luck just saved your stupid ass. Can't believe I straight up asked the job and they gave it. Damn it Peter.' Reaching for his pockets, luckily he got 20 dollars. 'Nice!' he muttered to himself.

Peter went to a store and got 19 euros from 20 dollars. He shrugged as he went to a small restaurant to have a small meal before heading out to find a rented flat.

As he searched, he soon found a flat very reminiscent to the one he had in his universe. So, without any hesitation, signed the contract and took the key went to his rented flat. As he entered, he heard, 'RENTS DUE AT THE END OF THE MONTH!' yup, almost like his home in his universe.

All in a day's work.

SUNDOWN, AT THE TOP OF EIFFEL TOWER

Ladybug swung to the top of Eiffel tower, where already was Chat Noir.

'Hey, I thought I was late for a while.' Chat said as he fist bumped with Ladybug. 'You are early, I think. Where is Spider-Man?' Ladybug asked as Chat responded, 'don't know. You think he bluffed?' 'I hope not.'

SCENE CHANGE

As Spider-Man swung to save the citizens from 3 mugging, 2 bank robberies and 1 hostage situation; he lost track of time. Luckily he took a glimpse of the nearby watch as he calmed the people who were taken hostage in an old warehouse.

'Oh shit! I am late.' Spidey muttered to himself as he called out to others, 'alright guys. Have to attend recruitment call for a job. Stay safe!' and he swung quickly towards the Eiffel tower.

As he reached, he already saw the heroes waiting for him. 'Damn it! First day, tardiness.' He muttered to himself as he called out, 'hey guys! Sorry I am late. The traffic was quite a lot!' 'You swing. How come there is traffic?' Chat Noir sassed as spidey responded, panting slightly, 'citizens were in trouble. So I .'

Ladybug rolled her eyes and said, 'alright Tell us your story, Spider-Man.'

Spider-Man sat down beside Chat Noir and said, 'right. So do you believe in multiverse?' Chat and Ladybug looked at each other and Ladybug said, 'yeah. One student from a high school gave a theory. He said that every universe vibrates at its own frequency. So jumping from one universe to another is impossible.'

'True. Unless you are a big magician or just have pure luck. My case is pure luck. So, there is a very intelligent scientist whose name is Dr. Otto Octavius. Due to neural paralysis, he wanted to align mechanical arms to his neuron system. But the chip fried due short circuit and instead of him controlling the arms, the arms control him by manipulating his thoughts, emotions, etc. So he wants to kill me. This has been going on for few months until Otto decided to send me to another universe since he knows defeating will take ages. But as we fought in the lab he was making a machine called collider to send me to another universe, the machine overloaded and sent me and Dr. Otto here last night. But I guess in the middle of the night, Otto got a free midnight tea with your villain. So, any question? '

Chat asked, 'so basically neuron damaged person equipped with mechanical arms have come here. How dangerous is he?' spidey sighs and said, 'I would be lying if I said he isn't. He is. The arms are all unique with interlinked minds. Like a rogue AI in one person.'

'Ok so he currently with Hawk Moth. If we track him, we track Hawk Moth.' Ladybug said as Spider-Man shaked his head, 'believe me. I thought of this too. But I couldn't track him. He didn't leave any marks or I am not able to track his arms at least but nope. Somewhere he is completely out of range or no access to outer frequency.' 'Hmm. Well we can't do anything now until he shows up. So tell us about your powers?', Chat asked as Spider-Man smiled.

'well, wall climbing, super strength, agility, high jumps, faster healing and better durability and my sixth sense which tingles for any nearby danger.' 'Whoa!' Chat said.

'A sixth sense to warn you of danger? Can't believe it.' Ladybug scoffed as Spider-Man shrugged his shoulders and said, 'that's hypocrite actually considering a magical feather can evilise someone, as I saw today. Or a magical butterfly. Or that you fight with yoyo while he fights with a large steel baton.' Chat chuckled and Ladybug rolled her eyes and said, 'alright I get how strong is that sense of yours and how does it work?'

'Well, it is like a warning for any incoming danger. Like a bullet, missile or anything that can harm me. And my fast reflexes help me dodge.' 'nice. But how do you know from where the danger is coming. Like what if the sense is activated and you either have to jump, roll or move to dodge. How do you know which one to do?' Chat asked and spider replied, 'I don't. that's why it also makes you paranoid and many of my teammates also told me that how did you get hit if you have that sense. See when the sense is activated, I rely on my instinct which is connected to my sense. So at times I dodge, by my instincts are sometimes wrong, so I get hit because of it. my sense is never wrong though. But yeah over the years I have developed much better control and connection with it and so I can also sense from where and how big the danger is. And it also gets activated if my loved ones or the ones I care , who are near me , are also in danger.'

'Wow! That's pretty cool. So from where do these webs come from?' Ladybug asked. 'Oh I made them. When I was in high school and got powers.' 'Wait on your own?' 'Yeah! This was made by my late mentor as a parting gift. But I first made it from scraps and garbage.' Spidey said as he looked at the night sky.

'Wait your late mentor. That means…..' Chat said, his eyes widening.

'Yeah, it's been over 20 years, I have moved on. But it wasn't easy being alone but I managed. Anyway, you tell me about your powers and villains here.'

Ladybug chuckled and said, 'well, we have these wearable objects with kwami. On wearing them, we get powers based on the kwami of the object.'

What's a kwami?' spidey asked. 'Kwamis are divine beings that are formed whenever a new abstract idea or emotion comes into existence in the universe. Like my kwami has the power of destruction. One touch an everything touching it will be destroyed. So I am not sure fully about it, but they are like beings that needed to be with full energy so that we can use its powers else we can't. Make sense?' Chat said, chuckling sheepishly as spidey scratched his head and said, 'yeah, I guess. So how do you make sure they are in full energy?'

'We feed them. The food they are adapted to and preferred and good sleep. But that's it.' Ladybug said. 'Interesting. And the villains?'

'So Hawk Moth uses his miraculous a.k.a a wearable objects with kwami, for evil. Anyone with heavy negative emotion, he manipulates them and turns them into villains against us. His obsession is with our miraculous. We don't know why actually, one of the main reason we need to find his identity and put an end to all this.' Ladybug said

'Wow. So your main mission is to find Hawk Moth, defeat him and find out the reason for his obsession for your miraculous?' 'Pretty much but he constantly sends villains while he hides in his lair. So unless he comes out open, we can't do anything.' Chat said chuckling.

Spidey nodded as he slowly took in the information.

And their conversation continued till midnight. Spidey took in all the information necessary to survive. This talk was nothing but l bridge to build the trust and friendship between the heroes. Instead of any distrust, they had open, heartfelt, not so deep conversation, with some jokes and laghter easing any tension between them.

MEANWHILE

'Thank you for your help.' Dr. Otto groaned as Nathalie tended his wounds.

'I am not doing this for you, doctor. There is a new hero and only you are familiar with it. Plus you won't be much useful soon so don't get your hopes up.'

'Oh please. If I get a lab with different equipments, nothing you can do to stop me. Not even the local heroes. Heck half of the avengers lose to me when I first fought them…..'

'I don't care what the heroes of your world did. But if you prove to be as formidable as you say, you and I won't be long from total world annihilation. But you choose to go against me, things won't be pretty.' Gabriel said as as he walked, his hands behind him.

'Buddy you have to manipulate innocent people who are heavily depressed to get your job done. You hide here in the shadows while the brainwashed victims get beatings. You are just deemed as dangerous, not scary. A powerfull villain does their own job in worst way imaginable. You are not at all scary. Being a villain, I don't think you have received the satisfaction of seeing the scared people and heroes as you destroy everything in your path. People wont be afraid of you. They just know you will make them evil and at the end, they are saved by heroes. Same cycle each and every time.'

'I don't attack paris for fun. I am doing to fulfill my needs. I need the Ladybug and Chat Noir miraculous to bring my wife back.'

'Either way, you are destroying, manipulating, beating and possibly traumatizing. And easily makes you a villain. No matter your intentions. If you do something terrible, you are a villain. Anyway, your wish, your life. I just wish to kill spider-man here or make a machine to leave this place permanently. He isn't easy, mind you. Maybe today you found him easy but that's just luck. As days pass, you will realize he is a nuisance that you sorely want to kill for the sake of your own satisfaction. Trust me, it will. And if I do help you in achieving whatever you want, I need you make a neural chip so that I can get back in control of my arms. You help me and I will help you. Deal?'

'Alright doctor. I accept this proposition.'

And soon doctor went to a deep slumber as both Gabriel and Nathalie walked off.
