Rise of House Pendragon
I don't know, how many attempts that I'm put into creating this story. There is some idea, but to put it into a written paragraph is another story. Moreover the amount of flame in this site is quite remarkable. So usually I just put my idea into dust bin, before I could put it into a writing.

Chapter 1 Northern New Noble House
Edwyle Stark look at his banner man, as most of them is ready for attacking House Ryswell and House Bolton. Never once in his mind, that during his rule there would be a civil war here in the north. He is could put in the blame on his hand, because his lack of attention to the other houses without doubting their loyalty at all.
Edwyle forgetting the teaching of old Starks of the Winter King. The lesson that have been put into practice by letting their rival house, House Bolton to survive and that is to not to questioned their vassal loyalty.
There is a reason, why ancient Stark taking their rival wife and daughter and then marrying them. The Stark of old is only allowed the offspring, which has been born from them to continue that house lineage. Because everything is changed with time, even a friendship and relationship between family members could get deteriorated with time.
'There is no such thing as free meals in the world' Edwyle gaze lingered on the sky, after he finally accepted human true nature to lie and betray 'they are loyal because they are afraid of House Stark might and there is benefit under our rule for a time'
Now to the present, as to why he is here is simple and that is due to House Ryswell attempt to topple House Dustin. House Dustin found out that there is almost no-life male line, is because House Ryswell intend to take over House Dustin territory. House Ryswell are already planned all this, by slowly replacing all people that House Dustin dependent on by House Ryswell man.
House Ryswell also used their intertwined marriage with House Dustin, to take control House Dustin by slowly take over their control of their economy. The true line of House Dustin is found this scheme by accident, after a drunk knight accidently spilled their guts about where their true allegiance reside.
Edwyle are sure that House Bolton is the mastermind behind all of this, despite their claim of ignorance for House Ryswell attempt to topple House Dustin. House Bolton then are raising their army in the claim to fight for the injustice done to them by House Stark, despite there are proof of written evidence in the form of letter and payment document along with witnesses that House Dustin manage to secure when they are asking for help to the Stark.
House Bolton vassal are then raise their banner. House Ryswell, House Glenmore and House Whitehil are known as a staunchly loyal supporter of House Bolton. Edwyle then sending his son Rickard, to lead House Glover army to attack Highpoint in a siege battle. After that Rickard has been ordered to kill all the Whitehill rebel by Edwyle and only pardoned House Whitehill female line, as Edwyle ordered the surviving female to marry a man from House Forrester.
Edwyle plan is to only let the descendent that has been born from the union of House Forrester and House Whitehill, to continue to hold and carry Whitehill family name and land after they renew their oath to Stark of Winterfell. Rickard know the severity of the order that he have been carrying, as the future for House Stark is in jeopardy if they lose the battle.
Meanwhile Edwyle itself decided to hold the border between House Stark and House Bolton, in order to preventing House Glenmore and House Ryswell to join their army with House Bolton army. That is because House Glenmore and House Ryswell army is enough, to tip the battle in House Bolton favour.
Unfortunately for Edwyle is that the last Dustin family line, is fall in the defence battle along with House Stout. House Dustin extinction along with their sworn house, are leaving Barrow land lord less. Edwyle Stark are then looking to the boy to his side, as boy that is really have different look to his face as the boy is carry more Valyrian features rather than Stark.
The boy is Edwyle son and his name is Naruto, born from a typical Lysenni woman when Edwyle are trying to conducting a business in Lys. As the north is needed a trade partner, for trading along the shore of Essos. Naruto mother are Valyrian descent like some of the people there in Lys, but what Edwyle does not know that his onetime lover would be carrying his child.
That is because Edwyle is enamored with Naruto mother and kept their relationship close. That is why they are kept sending letter to each other and through this letter, Edwyle found out that Morgana is pregnant. Morgana assured Edwyle, that her son would not trouble Rickard as the trueborn son and include himself into House Stark succession.
The reason for Morgana decision, is because she does not want Naruto to be called a snow as a bastard child and be separated from him. Moreover Edwyle fear for there is a fight in House Stark succession, which is reasonable because Rickard is already being pointed as House Stark heir apparent.
Rickard Stark line is already secure, after his marriage to Lyarra. But what is Edwyle does not know, is that Morgana is not an ordinary girl with an ordinary bloodline. Morgana is a descendant of House Pendragon, which believe to be located on a magical continent behind the Sunset Sea.
Although many people doubted the validity claim, as Lys people claim that the Morgana people came from the east and then married into House Rogare. House Rogare man are known to have intertwined marriage with so many woman and man of Valyrian descent, before their downfall that making many pillow houses are lacking a woman from Valyrian descent.
Many people are since then hunted woman that have Valyrian features, to sell them to pillow house after knowing that they have become a rare commodity. Even then somehow Morgana parents is still managed to kept their family and people save and sound, after the fall of House Rogare due to Rogare Bank embezzlement by Lysaro Rogare.
But unfortunately, during Morgana time the hunting of Valyrian woman descent become much more frequent and would become death sentence for her along with her family. Even though, the money debt owed by House Rogare already had been paid in full. The hunt is led by Maelys I Blackfyre, that has been hunting a Valyrian descent that had been scared Morgana to death.
Fear for the safety of her child and her people. Morgana are then send a letter to Edwyle, asking for a sanctuary for both her and her people. Which is luckily quickly replied by Edwyle, which then is sending Manderly fleet to open a safe passage for her and her people.
But what Edwyle is not anticipated are the coming of fifty ship, which is carrying the entire Morgana people that are coming with her together from Lys. Edwyle could only describe it as the second coming of Nymeria, when the Rhoynar people first landed on the Dorne. Morgana also landed on the north along with her people.
Morgana are coincidentally arrived in just two weeks, after House Dustin come to House Stark asking a justice for their House. That come right before the war breaks out in the North, after Lord Ryswell denied House Dustin allegation to House Ryswell when Edwyle come forward to them. A blessing in disguise as for Edwyle, as Morgana and her child appearance could bring significant advantage for the future of House Stark under Rickard Lordship.
Because what come to Edwyle mind is House Manderly, that come from the South after being chased out from the Reach. Now House Manderly are one of the most loyal banner man and contributed greatly for the north. Edwyle are believing that Morgana could rebuild her House here in the North and raise it to become a prominent house. Like what Morgana has done before she and her family are being chased out of Lys.
'And maybe make right the wrong' Edwyle once again look to the boy on his side. His son Nathan or 'Naruto' is what his mother is like to call him.
The only Stark features that his son Nathan have is his tall and lean body, which is taller compared to most kid at his age. At an age of three and ten, Nathan is not only taller but also smarter than most of the kids along with the body that exist as if it has been carved by the gods itself. Edwyle is already seen it by his own eyes, after Nathan took off his clothes after finish his training in the Winterfell training yard with Master-at-Arms.
That is all every corner or nook of Nathan body is filled with muscles. That is not overwhelming, but rather something that has been built for speed and flexibility in the combat. Something that Edwyle experience in seeing it in this battle by riding together with his son.
How Nathan moved his body, parry a sword and cutting down enemies while maneuvering the horse. Edwyle could only put it in one word and that is beautiful. As if the rider and the horse have one mind when they are move in synch during the battle.
"Lord Stark! Our enemy is already dropped their weapon" Nathan call shake Edwyle from his thought "What should we do next my lord?"
Edwyle look at Nathan with sadness as he, himself; is forbidden Nathan from calling him a dad.
"Take their weapon and horses, because we could not hold all of them as prisoner" Edwyle give his order to Nathan "We are just going to hold their lord and bring them with us"
Nathan give a nod to his father, before he finally order his man to do what they have just been ordered to do.
His position as Lord of the North, making Edwyle have to act cold in-front of his son. Although Edwyle knew that Nathan know that he is indeed his father, but Edwyle hope that after this war over that he could make amends to his son. For Edwyle is ready to make a necessary move, to not only secure Rickard position as the Lord of the North but also secure a future for Nathan.
Edwyle look around and could not help, but notice how the remaining man from House Flint of Flint Finger is eyeing Morgana. Hatred as cold as North Winter Wind is blowing inside Edwyle Stark, for he would not accept a disrespect towards his lady even if she is just a mistress.
House Flint of Flint Finger is a Northern house that ruling Cape Kraken, the land bordered near House Dustin, House Reed and Iron Isles. Unfortunately for the Stark is that unlike House Flint of Widow's Watch, House Flint of Flint Finger man is someone that quickly switch their allegiance as soon as House Stark is in disadvantage.
Many ancient Stark (himself included) put the blame on the poor situation in the North, rather than put the blame solely to House Flint of Flint Finger for quickly switching sides. Edwyle used to seeing it only because they are poor and House Flint lack of army personnel, so they quickly switching sides as soon as House Stark is in disadvantage.
Edwyle is never doubting House Flint of Flint Finger loyalty to House Stark and rather believed that they are only betrayed House Stark to preserve their house to fight another day. But the North Civil War are opening Edwyle eyes to his ignorant way of handling thing, as Edwyle now knew that there is many threats coming to question House Stark rule and now he is ready to rectify that.
Now Edwyle Stark is ready to make all the house in the north to remember, why they are called the King of Winter.

Nathan riding along with his army, a loyal army that come together along with him and his mother family from Lys. No one know that in actuality that this so called "loyal" soldier, is actually a certain type of homunculi created to act as their soldier. This is the soldier that Nathan created from a certain "dark" magic, which Nathan are learn from his previous life.
'There is a certain charm to be able to re-born again' Nathan is remembering his life after his death, as he is now able to reincarnate or travel along many "worlds" beyond. Nathan is also pick-up all kind of power and tricks from the universe, which he has been visited.

Nathan could say for sure that his army is the best in Westeros, as he draws several idea that he put into his creation. Archery, sword skill and horse handling is the basic thing that Nathan put into his shadow army.

Thinking about Hidden Leaf is making Nathan anger rise, as he remembering his birth mother and father.

Thinking about father are making Nathan throw his face to look at his "father" in this world. Edwyle Stark is a true leader in Nathan opinion, unlike his so called real "father" Namikaze Minato. Edwyle is a man honest to a fault, unlike the goody-two-shoes Minato. As Edwyle is dare to tell Nathan upfront, about how he could not called him father in-front of the others due to his status.
There is stark difference between good leader and good leader. Nathan know it first-hand when he lived his lives as Uzumaki Naruto, which teach him that you could not be a good leader and also become a good father. There is always something at the stake, like some man that rarely come home because of his work in order for his wife and child's to get a comfortable life.
There is always two side of coin on every lives and unlike Minato, Edwyle at least honest about it. Because you cannot be a murderer and a saint at the same time. Edwyle Stark is honest from the beginning they meet for the first time about what he is expected from Nathan and Nathan respected that, even though that means he have to kept his distance from Edwyle as his father.
Edwyle is acted as the Lord of the North, so the legality of Rickard position in the future as the Lord of Winterfell would not be questioned because the appearance of another child. Nathan is knew despite their difference in age and Rickard position as the son of legal wife, the inheritance issue will still appear about who will become the Lord of Winterfell.
Especially in this situation where there are enemies all around House Stark, something as fragile as Nathan position as Edwyle son could be used by their enemies to be used against Rickard. Nathan are quite knowledgeable about it, because of his past experience and Nathan do not want to live Uzumaki Naruto lives. That only exist to be used as a weapon catalyst.

But unfortunately not long after Nathan are being call to join them with all the other lords there. When Nathan entering the tent, all eyes are on him. Nathan is giving a quick glance to his mother Morgana, who are also attending the meeting.
"Morgana…it was thanks to your family help in this war that we manage to come out on the top" Edwyle look proudly at his paramour "even though you and your family first come out to the north as a refugee, but now you and your man proved yourself that you are more than that"
"Throughout this civil war your savvy mind have been contributed us greatly to go to through this war by securing us the necessary provision" Edwyle continued,
"Nathan!" Edwyle voice booming throughout the tent, "I have seen your performance on the battlefield and thanks to your command we manage to come out on the top"
Edwyle then are looking from Morgana to Edwyle "your house have significantly contributed to House Stark and the north and for that you have my gratitude"
"Throughout this whole ordeal are making us awake, that there are enemies laying in the north" Edwyle look to all the house in the north lord, "Thanks to this we are now have a chance to fix this situation"
"The man of House Flint of Flint Finger will be send to the Night's Watch and their territory would be confiscated" Edwyle glaring his eyes to the other lords, to see if anyone of them is dare to challenging "Morgana will be given House Flint of Flint's Finger land territory, due to their contribution and considering there are not a member of House Dustin left…"
"House Dustin land territory of Barrow land would be also become part of their territory" Edwyle continued "Morgana son, Nathan will also be temporary appointed as the lord of Moat Catlin while it being fixed considering Nathan also have a talent as building engineer"
Any objection that any of them have is died on their throat, after Edwyle declaring that Nathan will be appointed as the lord of Moat Cailin. Edwyle action is a statement to the Northern Lords, which is Edwyle are acknowledging to them that Nathan is his son.
"But House Stark would not House Flint of Flint's Finger line are died out so Nathan will also married Lady Lyessa Flint so their line will continue"
Morgana are then signalling Nathan, which are then quickly kneeling
"Thank you my Lord, me and the rest of the man from the House Pendragon is really grateful for the chance that you are giving us" Nathan eyes look directly to Edwyle "We swore our loyalty and allegiance to House Stark as the Lord of the North"
Morgana also kneeling and put her oath of allegiance in-front Edwyle and the other Lords,
"House Pendragon? Not House Rogare?" Edwyle curiously asked Nathan, as he does not detail about his mistresses family line;
"Pendragon is my mother great-grandfather family name before he married into House Rogare of Lys" Nathan look to his mother Morgana "and we already chosen this name right after we step foot into the north, to signify our fresh start but also our remembered our origin"
"I see" Edwyle see at the warmth look that Nathan given his mother "Then raise~ House Pendragon! The Lord of Barrow land and Blazewater Bay"
Edwyle words become the nail in the coffin that signalling the end of House Flint of Flint's Finger.

After the wait and see siege, which is ended that after almost one full moon. The siege is finally coming to an end, with Lord Bolton surrender during the siege. Morgana itself is still somehow capable to supplying Northern army, while the northern Lord are surrounded Dreadfort for almost one full moon before Lord Bolton finally surrender.
So they only lose small number of soldier in this war, while some other is remain unscathed. Lord Bolton, Lord Ryswell, Lord Glenmore and Lord Whitehill are executed by Edwyle own two hands following the Northern tradition, even though Edwyle are pardoned their children from their father crime.
The reason for that is because Edwyle are preparing for another war as Edwyle are believe that the Blackfyre would soon try to attempt another attack to Westeros. Edwyle believe that because Maelys I Blackfyre are heavily involve in slave trafficking of Valyrian descent, to fill his war cover by selling them to famous pillow houses that are offered him a big payment.
That is the reason, as to why the rebel house children are being spared. That is because most of the rebel come from the house that could booster a significant amount of man, for the north if Blackfyre indeed in-fact invade Westeros. But Edwyle still need to make example out of some houses for this rebellion, less they will think that would be no consequences to go against House Stark.
By rewarding and giving Morgana and his son, Nathan a land and tittle that are awarded to them as House Stark vassal because their contribution in the war. Especially because Nathan is also his blood, which are making Edwyle is so sure for his decision will help Rickard rule in the future.
That is why right after the war, they along with all of northern lords quickly ride to barrowton. Because the territory used to rule by House Dustin, is now belong to Nathan of House Pendragon after Edwyle appoint them as the new lord. The marriage with Lyessa Flint, will also legitimize House Pendragon to rule Cape of Kraken.
But Rickard are objected to his father decisions, even though he is seen some benefit behind his father decision. Despite his objection his father Edwyle is going through with it, while Rickard just does not see the point a favouring just one house. Even though Rickard and Nathan is not close, but he is at least seen Nathan quite favourably but not to the extent of ready to give him a big amount of land. Even Rickard know that Nathan have a really keen mind, which often help his father conduct rule and business in Winterfell.
Even though Morgana and his man are refugee. Rickard could not deny that they have been giving more help to his house, as they are helping House Stark coffer by conducting a prosperous business for them. Especially since House Stark coffers is almost empty, by only leaving them with a couple thousand gold coins.
'Better to leave this thought for another day' Rickard is looking to the many people around him 'It's not a problem that could be solve in a day'
People is busy preparing for the marriage between Nathan and Lyessa, which will signifying the first standing of House Pendragon. Lady Lyessa Flint is a widow, which already have one child with his previous husband. Lady Lyessa son, Robin Flint will automatically become new Lord of the Widow's Watch due to his mother marriage to Nathan as Lyessa will enter House Pendragon as their lady.
Rickard then standing in-front of Weirwood tree, near his father while Nathan standing right in-front of him. Nathan wearing a cloak with House Pendragon crest on it. A sapphire blue with golden dragon with six limbs is etch into the cloak

The fast wedding preparation baffled Rickard, as if Morgana is already prepared for this situation. The sound of people are exchanging their oath in-front of Weirwood tree awoken Rickard from his thought. While Lyessa is walking around in the Barrow Hall, where almost all of the sign of House Dustin have been replaced with House Pendragon crest. During her walk, Lyessa are remembering that Nathan was talking with all mountain clans' lord and the lord of House Forrester right before the wedding.
'Looks like my lord husband is already trying to makes a connection with the other northern lords'
Arriving at the bathroom, the servant quickly take off Lyessa clothes. Lyessa could feel that her muscles is feel much more relaxed after she get into the hot bath, which Lyessa are never knew that she had it before her previous night with her lord husband. Thinking about her lord husband house, is making Lyessa thinking about House Manderly. As House Pendragon are living luxurious life, like House Manderly did even though they have been chased out of their home. It could be seen by Lyessa when the servant are leaving her change gown, which has been giving to her by her good mother for her to wear.
When Lyessa touch it, she could felt that the gown created using pure silk material. Almost everything, that her lord husband and her good mother provide and presented for her is expensive even for Westerosi standard. With this, Lyessa could see the reason as to why Edwyle Stark place the importance to giving the land and tittle to her lord husband.
That is because, House Pendragon could become another house with big contribution into the north economy like House Manderly did. After all, there are more to Nathan beside he is Edwyle Stark son and it could be seen by how House Pendragon manage to gather their riches despite they are being a refugee.
Lyessa believe that Edwyle are putting his hope into the raise of House Pendragon, with Nathan as their lord to spearhead not only their economic but also military power. House Manderly is already hold military power to protecting northern eastern shore, while House Pendragon would be in-charge of protecting their eastern shore along the sunset sea.
Lyessa could see that House Manderly and House Pendragon protecting their western and eastern shore respectively.
Lyessa are being pampered, which she feel it herself when the house Pendragon servant quickly dried her body with towel right when she got out of the bathwater. They are even help her dressed, when Lyessa asked as to why she has been treated so well to the servant. The servant answer simply is, that they are given Lyessa a treatment that are benefitting their lady of the house according to House Pendragon standard.
Lyessa are then asked for the lord solar, to the servant as she is looking for her lord husband after she dressed. Walking around the Barrow Hall, Lyessa notice that there are many people employed by House Pendragon as worker. Lyessa notice that there are many structural changes done to Barrow Hall, even the servant hired by House Pendragon is surprise that House Pendragon are still hiring many people.
Hearing many servant gossiping during her walk, about the money own by House Pendragon to hiring many people to work for them is making Lyessa really curious about House Pendragon Riches.

Lyessa blushed seeing her good mother smile as many people in the north are admiring Morgana beauty even, she is a woman thought that her good mother is really beautiful. Something that making Lyessa embarrassed, as she is a few years older than Morgana.
"Not at all Lady Morgana, I'm just curious when Lord Nathan and I will move to Moat Cailin?" Nathan and Morgana is looking at each other, before Nathan finally decided to answer Lyessa question, "I decided that we will not move to Moat Cailin, but I will still send our mason worker there"
"But…" Nathan raise up his hand, stopping Lyessa from continuing her words, "What lord Edwyle actually want is, for House Pendragon to funded Moat Cailin rebuilding so there is no need for us to go there" Nathan continue, "Although I will occasionally go there to watch the rebuild"
"Nathan is right, after all Moat Cailin has been long abandoned so there is no need for you to go there" Morgana tries to convince Lyessa "There is nothing but rubble there, so there is no place for both of you to stay while it being rebuild"
"Of course, good mother" Lyessa nodded, with a light of understanding in her eyes "Then, should I tell the maid to prepare a breakfast for us?"
"Please do that My Lady… my mother and I will join you in a moment after my job here is finish" Nathan nodded to Lyessa,

Nathan let out a sigh of relieve, when he is seeing Lyessa body leaving the room. For he has many jobs to do and he not really sure where Lyessa loyalty are located, as some of them is going to make her question House Pendragon loyalty to House Stark.
'We could not make an omelet without cracking an egg' Nathan nodded, then Morgana leave Nathan alone in his solar after theu finished their planning. Nathan are then look at the map spread on the table, 'Looks like I'm have to make connection with the Manderly and the southern house'
'The biggest market is located on the east sea' Nathan grit his teeth, 'We have to be dependent of House Manderly in order for us could sell our commodity in Essos'

In the hustle and bustle of Kings Landing, on the Red Keep; King Jaehaerys II Targaryen is talking to his predecessor Aegon V Targaryen. The subject of their talk is none other than the rise of House Pendragon, as House Pendragon fame are raising on the Westeros. Even though they are a newcomer among Westeros noble houses.
At first, neither Jaehaerys II or Aegon V are interested or want anything to do with them since the dance of dragons. When they are first landed on the north, despite they are come from House Rogare. House Targeryen is not given them much attention, despite hearing Morgana feat that has manage to pay all of House Rogare debt.
They are even less interested to what Morgana do, by naming her own newly standing; House Pendragon or put a golden dragon crest on their banner. But everything is change, after only a half year. Many items have come from the barren north, such as whiskey, soap, shampoo and many kind glass products that come from Pendragon territory.
Such item like soap and shampoo, even become popular among many noble's woman because it gets rid of the foul odor on their body and their shampoo have beautifying effect to the hair. Thanks to that, in one-night House Pendragon manage to become one of the richest noble houses in Westeros.
But, none of that are the reason as to why now House Targaryen is interested to what are House Pendragon do. What drawing Jaehaerys and Aegon attention to them are the rumor mill about House Pendragon is having magic. This rumor is proved further, by the north fortified eastern shore as many trading ships have seen a towering tower and fortified town built using pure white marble.
Even Moat Cailin have successfully been rebuild under House Pendragon, which strangely enough is they only need a half year to rebuild Moat Cailin. It is quite impossible feat, for Moat Cailin are having huge structure. Which could match Harrenhal and to finish rebuilding it, in only half-year is unheard of.
Moat Cailin that are now called Iron Fortress, by the merchant that travels there. The news about Moat Cailin is travelled, to Kings Landing from the merchant mouth. That is further convince Aegon V, that House Pendragon are indeed inherited magic of old Valyria.
"What should we do father?" Aegon V look deep in his thought when his son asked him, "We will hold a tourney and invite all houses in Westeros. Considering it as the celebration right before Aerys and Rhaella"
"Should we really marry Aerys to Rhaella father?" Jaehaerys is really doubtful to his father plan "Because they are not close with each other, even I felt that they barely tolerated each other existence"
Aegon let out a sigh after hearing his son, "What they feel for each other is not our concern, as they still have to do their duties"
"You heard it as well! The prophecy that Maggie the frog gives to us" Jaehaerys almost snorted to his father when he heard that, as he does not really believe to his father plan, "The dragon will raise once again Jaehaerys and then all our political opponent would tremble, as they will be reminded once again as to why we rule Westeros"
Jaehaerys could only dropped his head in shame, as now House Targaryen is barely holding the power in Westeros. Almost of noble house Lords are objected to their policy, which put the heavily importance to commoner well-being. They also barely have family relation to any Lord Paramount House and the blame could be put to him and his father, who break their engagements to marry their own sister.
Thanks to that, they are now could barely pass their policy without facing objection from the most noble house Lords. House Targaryen are now putting their hopes on Aegon V plan, to resurrect the dragon back alive. For that plan to work, they have been spending their wealth to buy on all kind of magic tome from Asshai.
But Jaehaerys would not questioning his father decision, as he also shoulder the responsibility to House Targaryen weakened power hold over Westeros. After bowing to his father, Jaehaerys quickly leaving the throne room and calling Red Keep Maester. Not long after the raven send to all houses all across Westeros, which carry the invitation to a biggest tourney ever held since the dance of dragons is start.
