The trek was rough,having to face a few obstacles along the way, but Mao Mao managed to to get through the treacherous mountain and finally reached the monastery.

"Hmph," the black feline said "that took a bit more longer than expected, but what matters most is that we made it, isn't that right Sun?"

Sun, still being an infant, just babbled again.

"Dang,"Mao Mao apologised, "I'm sorry but I keep forgetting about that.But anyways, it's time."

Mao Mao was about to walk up to the door of the monastery when he stopped.He had not seen his family in these past few years being a lone hero and having to protect the valley and thought it might not be a good idea to suddenly walk in the Mao household and introduce his family to his infant son immediately.So he got an idea.

"Sorry Sun," Mao Mao told his son feeling a little bit bad."But you may have to wait a little longer.Please try to be quiet."

Sun just looked at his father with his big green eyes before he was covered up by his father's cape. This was something Mao Mao did sometimes in pure heart valley, covering his his body with his cape like a robe.Mao Mao made sure that the cape was adjusted to ensure that his son doesn't suffocate.

"Tanya might kill me for this."Mao Mao sighed, " I wonder if this makes me as bad as my own father."

Mao Mao then proceeded to open the sliding door and was greeted by the sight of his family gathered at the dinner table.

Sitting at one side of the table was,Mao Mao's father, Shin Mao,is a hunk of a man with a masculine body covered in golden shining armour,however Mao Mao knew that was fake. Truth to be told, Shin Mao was actually a small man,a few inches shorter than his youngest son, The armour was actually a robotic suit which Shin Mao controls wearing a control suit on him with it being concealed when wearing the suit.Mao Mao knew about this after his father had visited him in Pure heart valley a year ago.None of the other family members knew of Shin Mao's true structure, although it is quite possibly that his wife knew and maybe even a few of his daughters.Shin Mao often neglected his son when he was younger and got his name wrong a lot of times, and he still does to this day.

Next to Shin Mao was Mao Mao's mother,Omoiyari Mao,is a beautiful and elegant woman,wearing a pink kimono with a floral pattern.She is a kind and caring person who is very gentle and understanding to those she meet. Despite her friendly appearance , she was very skilled in fighting. Once she defeated a large group of bandits with her bare hands when they tried to rob her. Unlike Shin Mao, she gives her full attention to her son, correctly addressing his name and loving him with all her heart being that Mao Mao was the youngest child.She is annoyed by how Shin Mao doesn't even care for their son and the fact that he spells his name wrongly.

Sitting at the other sides of the table were Mao Maos five older sisters. Each of them had a magic golden item given to them when they were younger.

The oldest among them was Brunhilde, a large muscular female warrior wearing Silver shining armour.Her golden item was a large spear that can pierce through any object.This allowed her to defeat the most powerful monsters and bandits which made her possibly the strongest warrior in the world.

The second was Minori, she wore an elegant body just like her mother, she also wore a kimono, which is dull purple with white trimming.Her Golden item was a straw hat that has infinite storage space. This allowed her to put anything inside the hat no matter how large it was. This also gave her many opportunities she could use when facing monsters or bandits. This made her a genius tactician.

The third was Zhihui, a sorceress, she wore a green ominous cape.She was a master in the mystical arts.Her golden item were contact ok lenses that gave her "sight beyond sight" which allowed her to see visions of the future. This allowed her to predict her enemies moves and counter them.She was the coldest among her sisters.

The fourth was Jikyu, she wore a white karate top outfit with an orange bandana on her head. She was a Master martial artist with the knowledge of every fighting techniques and styles. Her golden item were two bangles that made her indestructible.This protected her from any dangers and prevented her foes from killing her. This however made her reckless knowing the fact that nothing could hurt her, causing some overlooked consequences.

Finally, the youngest of the five was Amala, A yellow ninja. She was an expert in agility and stealth. Her golden item was a scarf, that gave her great speed as fast as the winds.This allowed her to outrun her enemys and dodge their attacks.

Their treatment of their younger brother when they were younger is was kinda mixed. The three older sisters respected Mao Mao but didn't interact with him most of the time while the two younger sisters often teased and played with Mao Mao.

"Mao Mao!"his mother greeted him happily,"What a pleasant surprise."

"Long time no see mo mo," Shin Mao said to his son warmly,misspelling his name,"You finally decided to come see your family eh?"

Omoiyari nudged her husband with some force,"His name is Mao Mao."She whispered,"How could you not know that?"

"Right, sorry Mao Mao," Shin apologised,"Welcome back home."

"Thank you father." Mao Mao said while bowing.

"Yo lil bro,""Amala said with a smile."Glad to see you here."

"Aww, did you miss us little baby brother?"Jikyu said teasingly."Did you need us to help you defend your 'wittle' valley cause you're too 'small'?"

Mao Mao stiffened, he hated being called small, however he had expected that from his martial artist sister, she hadn't changed one bit.

"Be nice Jikyu, "Minori chided her sister,"This is the first time in years our brother has decided to join this reunion."

"Hey," Jikyu said defensively, " I'm just doing some friendly teasing, that's all."

Minori sighed,"You never change do you? Nevertheless, It is a pleasure to see you again young brother."

"Thanks Minori."Mao Mao said. It was nice seeing his sister standing up for him.

"Good to see you little brother," Brunhilde greeted,"why don't you take a seat?"

Mao Mao looked to Zhihui who just nodded instead of greeting him. She was still quiet as usual, but Mao Mao noticed her staring at him with a hint of suspicion.He waved this off thinking it wouldn't be a problem and sat down.

"Well it looks like everyone is here for the first time in years!" Shin Mao said in joy,"You should've told us you were coming, but at least you're here."

"Im so joyful you're here my little cherry!"Omoiyari said,"How is my adorable baby doing?"

This made Jikyu and Amala to giggle.Causing Mao Mao to blush red.

"I'm fine mother,"Mao Mao said,"And please stop calling me a baby, I'm an adult now!"

"Oh I know," Omoiyari said amusingly," But to me, you'll always be my little baby."

This made Mao Mao blush even harder while his two sisters giggled even louder.

"Now that's enough,"Shin Mao said," It time to talk about what you did this year."

In every annual reunion, each family member who attended was required to tell their achievements.Which is one of the reasons why Mao Mao didn't want to attend these reunions cause of his low accomplishments as a sheriff in pure heart valley.

"Brunhilde you go first." Shin Mao ordered

"Yes father," Brunhilde said"I managed to defeat 3 Prygwong beasts."

"Ah Prygwong beasts."Shin Mao said," Those things are larger than a mountain.Very good Brunhilde. What about you Minori?"

"I managed to find a long lost recipe that was made by the most greatest chef in history."Minori told her father.

"Why that's quite nice,"Shin Mao replied,"I can't wait to taste that recipe with your cooking Minori. Now it's your turn Zhihui."

"Well Dear father," Zhihui said"I have mastered a powerful spell that can defeat even the most mightiest foes."

"That's interesting," Shin Mao said in thought,"I wonder what that would do.Anyways I'm proud of you.Jikyu your up."

"I managed to defeat the greatest martial artist in the world and took his title!" Jikyu said immediately.

"Well would you look at that," Shin Mao said,"My daughter becoming a famed fighter.Excellent job Jikyu!Amala what do you have for me?"

"Dad, I managed to outrun the fastest racer in the world by in a literal race around the world."Amala said proudly.

"Ah the far runner Farah, it was about time she got beaten by someone else. Glad it was a Mao who did it.Now finally it's your time to present mo mo I mean Mao Mao."

Mao Mao closed his eyes and thought"Man my sisters are going to laugh at me for my pathetic little victories, might as well get over it."

"Well father," Mao Mao said nervously," I-well... uh-"

"If I may father,"Zhihui interrupted ,"I have something to say."

Mao Mao was shocked. Did his sister try to save him from his embarrassment? No, there had to be another reason.

"Well of course,"Shin Mao said," Go right ahead."

Zhihui then turned towards Mao Mao which caught him off guard.

"Tell me,why are you actually here brother?"She asked.

Everyone looked at her confused except for Mao Mao who started to sweat profusely.

"Isn't it obvious,"Mao Mao said,"I just wanted to see my family thats all."

"Really?"She asked with doubt in her voice."Because in the past years you have not attended these reunions because you had important 'hero' matters and that you wouldn't be able to since you have to defend a kingdom after becoming its protecter.The only explanation that you came here is because something important has happened that you need to see us."

Everyone thought about it and saw that there was some logic in that point.

"That is true."Minori agreed.

"Yeah,why are you actually here brother?" Jikyu asked.

Everyone then looked to Mao Mao expecting an answer.

Mao Mao was extremely nervous now. He had hoped that he would get to tell his family the reason why he came much later,but he was trapped.

Mao Mao sighed in defeat,"Well I was going to tell all of you later,but I guess I might as well show you now."

"Show?"His family said confused.

"Mother," Mao Mao asked, "Do you remember when you wished to be a grandmother?"

"I do,"Omoiyari replied,"but what does that have to do with-"

She froze as realisation came in, so did the rest of the Mao family.

"Bro," Jikyu said, "Are you saying-"

"Yes Jikyu," Mao Mao interrupted,"everyone, meet the newest member of the Mao Mao clan, the 50th generation, my son Sun Mao."

Mao Mao opened up his cape revealing the small infant in the carrier.

For a moment,everyone looked shocked,even Minori and Zhihui, who were able to keep straight faces, couldn't believe what they were seeing.

Then,Omoiyari suddenly made a squeal of excitement. She rushed around the table very fast towards Mao Mao and pulled her grandson away from his father with such strength that the carrier broke off.(don't worry she made sure not to hurt the baby chill out)This caught everyone by surprise.

"I can't believe it!"Omoiyari said joyfully while hugging Sun Mao and nuzzling her nose with his, "I expected to be a grandmother eventually, but I'm glad it happened sooner."

While Omoiyari was having fun with her infant grandchild, the rest of the Mao family just stared at them, still shocked by the circumstances.

They then turned their heads towards Mao Mao with a serious expression.

"Son,"Shin Mao said,"We need to talk."
