An hour before the lunch break, Joanna rushed back to the laboratory, excitement bubbling within her. She found Henrik van der Hune meticulously organizing artifacts.
"Henrik, you won't believe this!" Joanna exclaimed, barely able to contain her excitement.
Henrik looked up, his curiosity piqued. "What's going on, Joanna?"
"Two new exhibits have 'magically' arrived. They're already set up!" she said, her eyes wide with wonder.
Henrik paused, intrigued. "Really? What are these new exhibits?"
Joanna hesitated for a moment, then blurted out, "One of them is the 'Sexy Mayan' exhibit. It's, uh, quite... arousing."
Henrik raised an eyebrow. "Arousing, you say? This I've got to see. Should we take a look?"
Joanna nodded enthusiastically. "Yes, let's go! But first, let's grab Eva. I bet she'll want to see this too."
They made their way to the marketing and communications director's office, where Eva King was busy typing away at her computer. Joanna knocked on the doorframe.
"Eva, we've got something exciting to show you," Joanna said with a mischievous grin. "But fair warning, it's a bit... arousing."
Eva's interest was immediately piqued. "Arousing? I'm intrigued. Lead the way!"
The trio headed to the left wing, where the new exhibit was located. As they entered the "Sexy Mayan" exhibit, Henrik and Eva's jaws dropped at the sight of the elaborate displays. They were immediately struck by a demonstration of penis piercings, which featured a detailed model showcasing the ancient practice.
Henrik was the first to break the silence. "Are you telling me the Mayans used penis piercings for sexual intercourse?"
Joanna nodded. "Yep. It's believed they did this as part of their rituals and beliefs about fertility and masculinity."
Eva leaned in, squinting at the model. "Is that a Prince Albert piercing?"
Joanna smiled. "Yes, it is. They were quite advanced in their practices."
Henrik chuckled, shaking his head in disbelief. "I wonder what Pierson would think of this. Did you know he's bisexual?"
Joanna and Eva exchanged surprised looks. "No, we didn't know that," Eva said. "Let's go find him and show him this exhibit."
The trio rushed to the operations manager's office, where Pierson Henderson was deeply engrossed in paperwork. Joanna knocked on the door.
"Pierson, we need you to take a look at something," Joanna said, trying to keep her excitement in check.
Pierson looked up from his desk, intrigued. "Sure, what's up?"
"Come with us to the 'Sexy Mayan' exhibit," Joanna said, her eyes twinkling with anticipation.
Pierson followed them to the exhibit. As soon as they entered, his eyes widened at the sight of the detailed models and descriptions.
"Oh my," Pierson said, clearly fascinated. "Did the Mayans really use piercings like this?"
Henrik nodded. "Yes, they did. It was part of their cultural practices."
Pierson's eyes gleamed with curiosity. "Isn't this a bit controversial?"
Joanna shrugged. "Maybe, but it's also incredibly interesting. It gives us a deeper understanding of their culture and practices."
Pierson smirked. "Did the Mayans... you know, fuck themselves sexually?"
Joanna laughed. "In a manner of speaking, yes. Their rituals were quite elaborate and tied to their beliefs about fertility and the gods."
Henrik looked thoughtful. "I'm not sure if this is appropriate for all visitors. It's a bit too... explicit."
Joanna shook her head. "I think it's important to show all aspects of their culture. We need to take Beech Hill to a whole new level."
Pierson grinned. "I agree with Joanna. This exhibit is fascinating, and it'll definitely attract more visitors."
Eva nodded. "It's all about education and understanding different cultures. This exhibit does just that."
Henrik sighed, conceding. "Alright, you've convinced me. But we need to handle this carefully to ensure it's educational and respectful."
Joanna smiled triumphantly. "Absolutely. We'll make sure it's presented in the right way."
With the new plan in place, they left the exhibit, ready to tackle the rest of the day's challenges. Joanna felt a sense of excitement and anticipation for what lay ahead. Beech Hill was evolving, and she was thrilled to be a part of it.
