I can not wait for you all to enjoy this next chapter! Hopefully this will be as exciting as it was to write for you. I do apologize for the wait in between updates. But a lot is going on .

Standing there in the cold, she had only one thought, and that was winning the gold. If she did that then she would automatically be a competitor at the Grand Prixi Tokyo championship. If she didn't place in the top 3, she would have to skate in the next two competitions to qualify as the other skaters. She also couldn't help but notice that there was more paparazzi here then there normally would be. Though that was probably due to the weeks recent events pertaining to the tabloids breaking the news of her and Subaru. That has been exceedingly fun, though his family was taking it in stride, her father was still trying to get his team to get a hold of her. She left her phone with Subaru and he took care of it from what he said. His family has been exceedingly kind to her even before this happened. Like she was apart of their family forever then just a year.
The last time she felt as apart of a family was when her mother was still alive and her father cared for more then his standing. She was 11 when her mother was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. At the time her father took her to all her practices and made sure to record her performances to show to her mother who was in the hospital undergoing treatment. But once the news came that the cancer won in the fight, her father turned cold and distant towards her. He wanted her to stop skating and become a good daughter that obeyed her father. She was great full that her mothers father stepped in and took it to the courts to gain custody of her. She was able to continue skating and now she was a qualified competitor for the Olympic team, which her mother made her promise to become an Olympic medalist. Her mother was a qualifier before she met her father. She Qualified and participated in the Olympics.
Keiko wanted to do the same as her mother did more then ever after her mother's passing. While her mother was undergoing treatment Keiko promised her that she would qualify and participate in the Olympics. She breathed in as she looked out at the crowd and spotted the silver hair that would be Subaru. Sitting there with his family waiting for her to get on the ice for the short program. The start off the days events.
"Keiko your up next, ready?" Her coach asked.
"Yes, time to go for the gold right?" She smiled.
"Yeah, your just like your mother." He laughed.
Her coach was a buddy of her mother's before he was injured where he couldn't compete but could coach and train newbies. Her mother talked him into training her when she was only 5 years old. He had been there through the funeral and the upheaval of her life. Now he was nearly like that favorite uncle that was there for everything.
"I hope so, but I also hope I'm my own person too." She agreed.
"You are, she would never go for another athlete like you have." He gushed.
"Mom would have liked him." She chuckled as she shrugged out of her jacket.
Keiko straighted her dress, a white to pale blue hue with rhinestones adoring the neck and nude sleeves. She moved her feet together to warm them up. She took deep breaths as she watched the previous competitor's scores appear on the screen. She was right in the middle of the pack in the performance line up, the perfect place to be. She can see the previous competitors scores and possibly set the stage for those coming behind her. 8.9,7.2,6.9,8.9 read across under her competitor. So far not many had reached a 9 in the scoring yet. That meant, she needed a clean short and long program.
"NEXT WE HAVE KEIKO TADASHI! WHO HAS SO FAR WON 2 GOLDS and 1 SILVER THIS SEASON IF SHE WINS ANOTHER GOLD SHE IS AUTOMATICALLY QUALIFIED FOR THE GRAND PRIXI TOKYO!" The announcer yelled over the load speaker.
Taking a breath she took a step onto the ice, skated around once then came to a stop center of the rink. Her head turned towards the ice at her feet. Breathing in through her nose she waited for the music to begin. Once it did she began to skate the program she came up with for the season. Every competition she would up her difficulty and fine tune the rest of the program. It showed that she was from a family of athletes and that she practiced with everything she had.
SUBARU POV:
Sitting next to my family awaiting for Keiko to perform the short program. She explained that the short was a pregame to the full performance/main game. She explained it to him in a way that he would understand it. Emma was excited to see her win another gold as was Claire. The two sat next to each other holding hands as the guys of the family sat behind them. Wateru that morning had looked up all her stats for the family and he was even excited to see her perform. Futo wasn't to keen on being here, he was wearing a ball cap and glasses to abuse his face and so that. His other brothers couldn't wait to show their enthusiasm, Ukyo went a got her some flowers for after her performance and so did a few of his other brothers. It was nice seeing that they where just as supportive with her as they where with him.
Soon they announced Keiko to the Ice. He watched in amazement at she took a turn on the ice, taking her position in the center. Waiting for the music to begin was nerve racking. He can only imagine what was going through her head as she waited. As soon as the music started he watched as Keiko brought life to the music. He could faintly hear the commentars explain the moves she was making. But he couldn't stop watching as she glided along the ice. He watched the other skaters and thought they where good, but watching Keiko was a different experience.
It was though the other skaters were only playing it safe as Keiko increased her speed and the dificulty of her jumps. He knew they would have to wait till the long program was concluded to see if she won the Gold, Subaru knew that he would be making the Grand Prixi compitition when it came around and suport her through it.
