Alex opened her eyes; she was strapped to a chair, held with thick kryptonite chains. She tried to move, but the chains held her tightly to the chair. "I see you are awake, Kryptonian seductress," said Oscar, standing in front of her. Alex remembered his laughing face, Oscar kidnapped her. She tried to move with even more determination, but the chains were thick.
"Go to hell," said Alex. At least she could move her head. She spat on Oscar.
"No, Kryptonian seductress, you are the one who will go to hell. You corrupted my baby daughter! Margarita, my baby Margarita, she was so confused, and you charmed her! You turned her to this Kryptonian abomination, and charmed her to believe she likes … that she likes women. My Maggie is a good girl, and she will see the light. After you are gone, Kryptonian seductress, my baby girl will see the light. Lillian promised to turn her back human, and she promised to find some formula to have Maggie realize she doesn't like women," Oscar said.
"You are sick," said Alex. Gone, did he plan to kill her?
"You won't live for long, Alex Danvers. You will be gone within hours. But before you go to hell, I will make your remaining existence painful," said Oscar, grabbing a knife that glowed with green color, stabbing Alex in her shoulder. He leaned closer, pulling the knife away from her shoulder. "I don't to kill you, not yet. I hope you did enjoy Kryptonite. In several hours' time, I will use this knife and stab you, only in the heart."
Oscar laughed, walking away, and turning the lights off. Alex now sat in near total darkness; only light green glow produced some light. Alex tried to destroy the chains, but she felt even weaker this time. Her shoulder hurt like hell. Alex felt helpless; she knew her family would find a way to save her. She wouldn't leave her family, not like this, not without a fight.
Kara saw Maggie calling her. "Maggie," said Kara, taking the call.
"KARA! ALEX IS GONE! SHE ISN'T IN THE APARTMENT," Kara heard Maggie screaming through the phone. Gone?
"Maggie, we will find Alex," said Kara, freezing, as Lillian Luthor walked through the DEO doors, as several DEO agents pointed their guns at her.
"I'll call you back," said Maggie, ending the phone call. Lillian, the audacity to show up at the DEO when the she had a warrant for her arrest.
"You!" Kara said.
"Hello Supergirl. I don't think you will believe me that I came to ask you for your help," said Lillian, standing still at the DEO, as agents still had their guns pointed at her.
Kara flew towards Lillian, grabbed her by her shirt, and lifted in the air. "Where is Alex Danvers? What have you done?" Kara asked.
"Okay, first of all, put me down. Second, I know exactly where she is, and no, your Martian won't be able to learn this information, I am blocking telepathy with a hidden device. Now, let's meet at my daughter's office, so that the three of us could come to an understanding. And please shoo away your dogs, they better not follow, or Alex Danvers is dead," said Lillian, smirking. Kara briefly turned her eyes red.
"I hate you," said Kara.
"Believe me, Supergirl, the feeling is mutual. I just … I want you dead, Supergirl. But I don't want Alex Danvers dead. She could die, of course, I won't lose sleep if she died, but I would prefer is the elder Danvers sister was actually alive," said Lillian, chuckling.
"You sick b –"
"I didn't know Supergirl cursed," said Lillian. Kara said the f word at her. She rose in the air, grabbing Lillian by her right hand.
"No one will follow us, but I will make this as uncomfortable as possible," said Kara, flying Lillian by holding her hand barely; the two of them flew to the Lena's office. When Kara landed, she threw Lillian on the floor, and knocked on the balcony door.
Lena saw her and approached, opening the balcony door. "Kara, do you need something, mother!" Lena said. While she lacked heat vision, Kara felt as if Lena's glare could produce heat vision despite being a human.
"Hello, daughter," said Lillian, standing up. "As your pathetic Kryptonian pet has just learned, Alex Danvers has been kidnapped. Now, don't get me wrong, if she dies, I won't mourn her death, but she is a smart and strong woman, unlike you, Lena. I believe I could mold her to become my heir. If she joined me, she would be a better daughter for me than you are, Lena."
Lena retrieved a gun from her pocket and pointed at Lillian. "Talk," said Lena.
"You wouldn't actually shoot me, would you, Lena? You are a weak Luthor; unlike your brother, you lack my DNA. You are only half a Luthor you could have been. But even if you could shoot me, the secret of Alex's location would die with me. And she would die, believe me, unless I tell you where she is held," said Lillian, smirking.
"What do you want, Lillian?" Kara asked. She barely restrained herself from punching her.
"Beside world domination and destruction of aliens, of course?" Lillian asked, chuckling. "Look, I would be glad if you, Kara Danvers, broke Lena's heart, telling you hate her, think of her as just a Luthor, and kick her like a dog on the ground. I guess, I could have you inject liquid kryptonite into your bloodstream and then tell crying Lena the location of your sister. Hmm, choices, choices," said Lillian.
"Mother!"
"Relax, Lena, I don't plan to kill your Kryptonian pet, not yet. However, I always wanted to play a vampire, yes, they are hot," said Lillian, looking at Kara, and grinning. "So, what do you say, Kara Danvers? Give me your blood, and let me go, without anyone following me, and I will tell you the location of your sister."
"How do I know you won't lie to us?" Kara asked. Lillian had the audacity to bargain with her sister's life! Poor Alex, Kara would save her!
"You don't. But know this, I don't want to see Alex Danvers dead, I do want to see you dead, but under different circumstances. After all, I need to somehow break Lena's spirit. There will come a day when I use a Kryptonite sword and stab you, Kara Zor El, through the heart, but for now, I need to rescue a potential Cadmus agent. Your sister needs some tough love, but if I am persuasive enough, she would join me. So, what do you say, Supergirl, will you give me your blood in exchange for the information?"
Kara hated herself for helping Lillian, but if she could save Alex, she would. Maybe her DNA tracker device would help! Kara didn't know where Jeremiah was. She called Eliza ten times, but Eliza wasn't answering. No, she needed Eliza's help. But she was just not answering. Kara sighed, she could possibly find some DNA that belonged to Alex at the DEO, but she was running of time. No, she, Kara had to work with Lillian. As much as she hated helping Lillian, this would be the fastest way for her to find the location Oscar kept Alex at. She would do whatever it took to bring her sister back.
"Deal," said Kara, extending her hand. Lillian shook Kara's hand.
"I should have some equipment to extract blood," said Lena, walking to the wall behind her desk, and pressing a button, opening a small cabinet, and grabbing some equipment.
"Splendid, let's get to it," said Lillian, walking deeper into Lena's office.
Maggie, now wearing her Powercop costume, flew around Alex's apartment. Nope, no traces of her girlfriend. Her phone buzzed. She looked and saw her father, her father? Why did her father send her a text? Maggie saw the text, telling her to meet Oscar in some abandoned warehouse. He mentioned Alex, and said "captured." She looked at the address, and flew to the location. How dared her father kidnap the love of her life?
Maggie arrived at the abandoned warehouse. She slowly opened the door, looking around, it could have been a trap. "Margarita, baby girl, I did it, soon the Kryptonian seductress will be no more, and Lillian promised to cure you of these wicked charms. You will be a human again, and you will realize that you like men!" Oscar said.
"Father, what the hell did you do?" Maggie asked. No, Alex, her Alex, she couldn't have perished.
"So far? I kidnapped Alex Danvers, of course. Soon, very soon I will kill her. For now, she is probably enjoying the effects of Kryptonite on her body. But don't worry Margarita, soon a Kryptonite knife would stab her heart," said Oscar, laughing.
"How dare you!" Maggie flew towards Oscar, and lifted him in the air. "You kidnapped the love of my life! You tried to get her killed!"
"You are still charmed with her wicked Kryptonian magic," said Oscar. "A pity. I will cure you. But for now, I need to show you tough love, stupid girl."
Oscar's tore his shirt, revealing a green rock inside his chest. No, her father became a cyborg. "Father!"
"Margarita, I see you need to experience pain to see reason," said Oscar, releasing a green beam of energy at Maggie, throwing her at a nearby wall. Oscar jumped on the ground.
"Father, how could you!" Maggie quickly jumped on her feet, standing on the ground.
"I just want what's best for you, Margarita. Pain will be her demise, and your teacher," said Oscar, shooting another green beam at Maggie. He jumped towards Maggie, and stabbed her with a green knife in her leg. It hurt like hell. Her father, he was a bigot, yes, but this? How could he be so full of hate.
"Don't stand up, Margarita. Do whatever, even capture me, but know this; your seductress will die within next two hours," said Oscar, walking away, as Maggie managed to throw the knife away from her, lying on the floor. While Kryptonite hurt her, this betrayal shattered her heart. Maggie looked at Oscar, who laughed, and flew away. That's was new, she only had seen Cyborg Superman fly before. Maggie tried to stand up, but screamed from pain; Kryptonite was still present in her bloodstream. Maggie lay on the ground before trying to stand up once more. Kara, she needed to find Kara. Maggie managed to stand up, rise in the air, and then drop on the ground. No, Alex depended on her. Maggie stood for the third time, and while still feeling the effects of Kryptonite, rose in the air, and flew to the DEO.
Lena successfully used a syringe to retrieve some blood; luckily she didn't have to use kryptonite. Kara was glad that Lena had developed red lamps that removed her powers temporarily; normally she used red light to have wild nights with Lena. Kara sighted, seeing the syringe now full of her blood. Once she took a sample of Kara's blood, she turned the red lights off; the room returned to normal.
"Thank you for the blood," said Lillian. "Now, I know you have a prototype teleportation device in your office Lena. Show me where it is. Let me go, and in turn I will tell you where Oscar is holding Alex Danvers."
"I am so tempted to tear your heart out right now," said Kara.
"Both of us know that you won't do it, Supergirl. Now, where is my ticket out of here?" Lillian asked. Lena sighed, pressed several buttons on her wall. An arch appeared on the wall, soon filled with purple energy.
"Put the coordinates through this portal, and it will take you to your desired location," said Lena.
"Splendid," said Lillian, pressing some coordinates, and then looking at Lena, extended her hand. "The blood."
"Not before you tell where Alex is held," said Kara.
Lillian retrieved her phone, and typed the address. "Now, blood for the text," said Lillian.
"I hate you," said Kara, as Lena put the syringe in Lillian's hand, as Lillian pressed send. She then stepped through the teleportation device, laughing, throwing a small grenade behind her. While the device was now damaged, they could rebuild.
"Kara, Kara, I finally found you, you weren't at the DEO," said Maggie, arriving on the balcony, running to her. "Kara, father kidnapped Alex!"
"Lillian bargained for Alex's location; I gave her my blood. Let's go, I know where Alex is," said Kara, hugging Lena briefly and then rising in the air.
"Save Alex," said Lena. Kara nodded. She noticed that Maggie also rose in the air; the two of them flew to the address Lillian had given them.
Kara and Maggie landed outside of a rather ordinary warehouse. It was quiet, very quiet. "This could be a trap," said Kara.
"It is a trap. I don't care, we rescue Alex," said Maggie, punching the door, and throwing it off the door frame. Kara and Maggie entered the poorly lit room. Kara hoped they were not too late.
"Margarita, you are back with the sister of this seductress," said Oscar, as a few lamps turned on.
"Where is Alex?" Kara screamed.
"Let my girlfriend go!" Maggie screamed.
"No. You two arrived at a great moment! In several moments, I will end Alex Danvers life," said Oscar, laughing, as more lamps turned on, revealing Alex sitting on a chair, strapped with green chains. Alex was here, Alex was alive!
"Let. Her. Go!" Kara screamed.
"No," said Oscar as Kara jumped towards her sister; Cyborg Superman jumped from the shadows, flying towards Kara, and punching Kara in the chest, throwing Kara on the street; he then flew towards Kara, and engaged in a battle with her.
Alex opened her eyes to people screaming. She saw her sister and her girlfriend. They came! She was saved. Alex tried to move, but couldn't. She now felt much weaker than before. Her prolonged exposure to Kryptonite made her vulnerable. Kara and Maggie found her!
Alex saw that Kara was fighting the original Hank Henshaw out on the street, while Maggie tried to approach her, but Oscar, that evil man! Oscar kept sending kryptonite beams from his chest, keeping Maggie away from Alex.
"You won't keep me away from Alex!" Maggie said, trying to fly towards her once more. Oscar fired his beam again, this time managing to hit Maggie in the chest. She fell on the ground. Maggie, no, get up, get up!
Alex desperately tried to move, but was unable to do so. She hated this; Alex felt so weak.
"Margarita, it's time for me to teach you a very painful lesson. Don't worry, baby girl, pain will be an excellent teacher," said Oscar, lifting Alex with the chair in the air, holding her with his left hand. What was he planning to do?
"Father, you don't have to do this!" Maggie said, tears escaping her eyes.
"Apparently, I do," said Oscar, retrieving a knife from his pocket. It was the same knife he tortured her before! If only she could break her chains and punch Oscar; Alex lost so much strength.
"Alex!" Maggie cried, as Oscar brought the Kryptonite knife to Alex's chest. While she couldn't feel the actual blade yet; Alex could feel the green Kryptonite energy. This was the end; at least Alex had the opportunity to see her sister and girlfriend before this. She tried kicking her legs; while she managed to wiggle them in the air, by this point, Alex felt drained. The kryptonite exposure was too much. She was weak, so weak.
"Maggie, please close your eyes. I love you, Maggie Sawyer. Please don't look," said Alex. She hoped she could spare Maggie from seeing her demise.
"Alex, no, no, you can't die, my love, I love you," cried Maggie, tears escaping her eyes. "Father, don't do this!"
"I will do this, Margarita. Like I said, pain will be your teacher," said Oscar, as Maggie's eyes turned red. "Say goodbye to the Kryptonian seductress."
Alex felt the knife's blade poke her flesh; Oscar was so sadistic, why couldn't just get over with it. Alex wished Maggie would look away. But she hadn't. Instead, she saw her girlfriend crying, her eyes glowing with red light.
As Oscar prepared to stab her, Alex heard Maggie's screams that shattered all the lamps in the building. Red energy shot from her eyes, hitting Oscar in the neck, and cutting off his head. Alex fell, but Maggie flew towards her, grabbing Alex and lowering her on the ground.
"Alex, Alex!" Alex heard Maggie scream her name. Alex's vision went dark.
The next time Alex opened her eyes, she saw herself laying in the DEO bed. Maggie sat next to her, with Kara and Lena standing several meters away. "Danvers, you are safe, Danvers you are safe!" Maggie smiled, tears escaping her eyes.
"I feel like crap! I need to go to the room with red lamps and drink several bottles of vodka," said Alex. More tears escaped Maggie's eyes.
"You are safe," said Maggie, leaning towards Alex, hugging Alex. She was safe, she was hugging the love of her life!
"I, what happened?" Alex asked. So much happened that day, she was exposed to a large amount of Kryptonite.
"Alex, my father, he kidnapped and tortured you," said Maggie looking away. A tear escaped her eye. "He will never again endanger your life."
Alex now remembered how just before she lost consciousness, just before Oscar managed to stab her, she saw red energy hit his neck. Maggie, she … Maggie! Her beautiful and kind Maggie, she saved her!
"Maggie, you saved me," said Alex, smiling, looking at her girlfriend.
"My father, my father is dead. I am such a terrible person! But I couldn't let you die, Alex, I couldn't. I love you, I love you so much," said Maggie.
"I love you too, Maggie," said Alex, putting her hand under Maggie's chin, and turning Maggie's head towards her. "You are not a terrible person, you are the most beautiful and brave person I know. I love you, Maggie. You saved me."
Tears escaped Maggie's eyes. Both of them leaned towards one another, and kissed.
"Aww, you are so cute together," said Kara, smiling. Lena also smiled. Yes, her and Maggie were cute together. Maggie, her Maggie killed her own father defending her. Maggie, beautiful and kind Maggie! Alex kissed Maggie once again.
"Alex, you experienced a prolonged exposure to Kryptonite. I recommend you flying high in the air, and absorb a lot of yellow sunlight energy," said Lena.
Maggie lifted her from the bedroom, and while holding Alex bridal style, rose in the air, and flew outside, rising higher, and higher in the air. Alex wasn't sure how high Maggie flew up, perhaps several kilometers. More and more sunlight entered her body. It felt so good, especially being in the arms of the woman she loved.
Alex turned her head at Maggie, looking at her girlfriend lovingly. She put her hands around Maggie's neck, bringing her lips closer to Maggie. Maggie, still holding Alex bridal style, leaned closer; the two women kissed.
Lillian was wearing heavy and warm clothes; she was standing outside of a large door. The Fortress of Solitude. Yes, this place had everything she needed to enact her plan to eradicate the aliens from this planet. She opened the syringe, and dipped her fingers in the blood. She then extended her hands, touching the door, seeing it open. Perfect. Soon, Medusa would be hers to command.
