Bonus: Chapter Two
Estelle swings away from the scene and at the top of the Empire State Building, two figures watch her.
"Heh, you have to admit, she did well on her first bad guy," One of them said.
The other scoffed, "She got lucky. If it weren't for her friends, she wouldn't be alive right now."
The first man groaned, "Come on! You can't be so nitpicky about this. I mean, she LITERALLY fought a god! All by herself!"
The second man replied, "She fought a wounded god. If he was at his prime, she wouldn't have stood a chance. And besides, she is still green; she doesn't know the true burden of her powers."
The first man sighs in defeat. As much as he hates to admit it, his partner is right. Estelle Blofis just began her journey. She'll have many more trials to face in the coming future.
"Besides, we're not here to scout recruits, Peter."
"We're not? Then why are we here, Miguel?"
Miguel replies, "We're here to investigate. There's been a lot of movement here in this universe. Someone has been making visits here."
Miguel raises his wrist to press on his bracelet's monitor. It opened a holographic picture. This picture showed a man wearing a brown suit and a tie, escorted by two heavily armed guards with batons. On the back of their vests though has piqued Peter's interest.
"Who are they?" He asked.
"...We don't know much, but they can travel through other universes, like us." Miguel pointed toward a rectangular orange block that seems to be a gateway in the picture. "They're called the Time Variance Authority, or TVA for short."
"And what do they want?"
"...For now, they've been monitoring Estelle for a couple of weeks. Almost as if-"
"They knew this would happen…"
Miguel nodded in agreement. Whoever the TVA are, they were monitoring Estelle as if she was of some value to them. But why? Out of all the Spider-Man Variants, why her? Suddenly, Miguel's bracelet started beeping. Miguel pressed it and a figure appeared.
It seems to be another Spider-Man variant but… in LEGO?
"[Miguel? It's Peter. We got an Anomaly.]"
"Thank you Peter, you're one of our best," Miguel then switched channels. "Jess? Who's on it?"
As Miguel talks to HQ, Peter looks ahead, pondering. Whatever the TVA wants, it may not be good. Especially when they seemed heavily armed. Are they here to help… or to conquer?
One thing is certain though… Estelle Blofis must be ready for whatever the future lies ahead. Peter already knew that Estelle was Spider-Man material. When everyone told her to live a normal life, she chose to keep her powers. She was willing to make the hardest choice and become something more… something greater.
Whatever danger lies ahead… she must be ready to face many more trials ahead.
But most of all… she must be ready for the sacrifices and the responsibility to become a hero.
To become… Spider-Girl.
Estelle Blofis will return…
