Chapter 2! I'm pretty excited about this fic, I am and its amazing! Thanks Spider man for giving me inspiration!
Also to arguablereader on fanfiction: Izumi is not going to be aggressively or brutal as Bakugou, she going to still be the same as canon Izuku...just she's going to be a bit more feral...while being partner up with venom she is going to be this world's spiderman, so you don't have to worry about that! And this venom is actally base off of Tom Hardy's venom, so he is family friendly but still venom...he is the ultimate form of venom! He is dad venom!
A loud shrill rang in her ears, making her eyes wide open. With a hiss of pain Izumi slams her hand onto her alarm clock quickly shutting it off. Closing her eyes for a bit, Izumi slowly pushes herself up, looking confused on why she was on the floor of her bed. The room was the same, covered in posters of All Might, which sent a twinge of pain and anger in her, and other Heroes such as Miroku, and the Fantastic Four.
A pinboard hung on the wall near her desk, articles of Hero fights pin to it. But as Izumi stood up, one caught her eye and the sadness grew stronger in her.
"Hisashi Midoriya: Founder and Ceo of Midoriya Technologies died in freak lab accident'
Izumi slowly walks over, gently pulling the article off the pinboard. She stares at the picture of a man with black curly hair that went down to his shoulders. She couldn't help but think the article did shame to his yellow eyes, which she remembered were warm and bright as the sun. Closing her green eyes tightly she pins the article back onto the board and turns to get ready for school.
But she stops in shock as she looks at her reflection. Izumi knew that when she said she wanted to be a hero, that people would not only laugh because she didn't have a Quirk…but because she had absolutely no training. Not like she hadn't try though, she had tried to join gyms and while the trainers were nice…kids weren't. Not when they learn that she was Quirkless.
Children were cruel, she had learned over the years.
But now she looks at her reflection with wide eyes. She still had the black and green that curled around her head, falling to her shoulders. The same freckles that she had inherited from her father painted the bridge of her nose. But her arms, they were no longer noodles as one person had mocked. They along with her shoulders were filled out, cut and lean. She was no bodybuilder but as she flex her arm she could see the beginning of muscle, "What in the name of…"
"Izumi! Dear are you alright?!"
Izumi blinks and looks to her door, 'I'm alright mom! I'm just getting ready for school!"
"Are you sure? I can call the school and let them know you're sick!"
Izumi turns her gaze back to reflection, her green eyes wide, "But I'm not sick…I feel better than ever,"
Not all men are created equal.
Izumi knew that when she was four, and many of the kids in her school loved to remind her of it. She was a Quirkless, weakless, creepy Deku. the words have followed her since she was ten, when he was in her last year of elementary school and kids even become crueler.
"I can't believe she ran in!"
"What did she think she was going to do? Cry over the slime villain?"
"I heard the Heroes chew her out!"
"I hope All Might was one of them!"
"Maybe now she'll realize she can't be a Hero,"
Izumi sighs ignoring all of this as she headed into her classroom. Her classmates stare at her but she once again ignores this, sitting down at her desk. She pulls out a new notebook and begin to write in it, rewriting everything from her burnt notebook. "Maybe I should think of a code…if I'm going to be an analyst for Heroes, I can't let anyone but me be able to read them in case some villain gets ahold of-"
Her train of thought erupted as a hand slammed onto her desk, an explosion flaring up once it hit contact. She hisses looking up at the burning red eyes of Katsuki Bakugou, "Deku…. We need to talk,"
Izumi stares at him, her shoulders hunched as she sees the anger in his red eyes, her own flickering to the teacher. Who once again was doing nothing. "Ab-about what kaa-Bakugou?"
Bakugou stares at her, confusion pooling in his eyes when she didn't call him by his nickname. He shakes it off quickly, scowling at her, "I wasn't able to tell you this Deku but what happen the other day? You did absolutely nothing! I would never ask for a weakling such as yourself to help me! You got that! I was fine by myself! Your just a quirkless failure that wouldn't even cut it as a rent-a-cop! You didn't help me, you did nothing! And don't you forget it!" He turns around stomping over to his desk.
"Damn… what an asshole,"
Everyone freezes, Izumi's eyes widening when she said that…. Out loud…. For all to hear. "Why the hell did I do that!?"
Bakugou turns on his heel, explosions sparking from the palm of his hand, "what did you say Deku?"
Izumi opens her mouth to say that she didn't say anything… but she stops… slowly closing her mouth. All their interactions over their years, staring when their mothers introduce them to each other, to Izumi following him into the woods, to trying to kick a ball, to throwing rocks across a pond… to the day he slapped her hand away when she tried to help him after he fell off that log…to the years of Bakugou letting his anger out by using her as a punching bag, for crushing her dreams time and time again.
All she wanted was her friend back, the one she knew as a child before Quirks came in. The one she thought of as a Symbol of Victory…but that was all he cared about…was winning. He didn't care about helping people…all he wanted to do was fight villains…to beat people up…to not help them…
"If you really want to be a hero, here's advice. Pray you have a Quirk in the next life…and take a swan dive off the roof of a building,"
Anger, boiling hot anger rise up in her. Her eyes narrow, "Do you have wax in your ears or did your own explosions make you deaf? I said you're an asshole,"
A pen dropping could be heard as everyone stared at her in shock and horror. Bakugou growls, storming up to her and grabbing the edges of her desk. Izumi's face scrunched at the smell of burning wood, "I suggest you know your place Deku,"
Izumi glares, standing up. For some reason she felt no fear, not of Bakugou. "My place? What just because I have an extra joint in my toe…just because I don't have a power I'm beneath you? That I don't deserve to be treated like a person? If you haven't noticed Bakugou, those Heroes were standing around and doing nothing. I may not have done anything but if I didn't throw my bag into that villain's eye you wouldn't be here. All Might may have saved you but I gave you a few more minutes before he saved a carcass,"
"Midoriya!" Everyone turns to see their teacher looking in shock and fright as his eyes flicker to Bakugou, "That is no way to treat a classmate after a villain attack!"
Izumi leans in her chair, "Oh, so you agree with me teach that Bakugou would have died if I didn;t show up. Thank you for the support," she smirks as he opens his mouth, "Maybe it will make up the fact that you let out confidential information. You know…where I wanted to go to highschool? That's illegal isn't it. It would be a real shame if I complained to my mom about it,"
Their teacher's jaw snapped shut, and Izumi couldn't help but feel giddy about that. Her mom was a lawyer, and a pretty good one as well. And it's a reason why none of the teachers tried to mess up with her grades, why none of the teachers tried to do anything, in fear of her mother suing them and messing up their goals with Bakugou. "Alright students…settle down, homeroom is about to begin," Izumi rolls her eyes before staring at Bakugou who growls.
"Your dead meat later Deku. I'm going to beat you so much you will never even dare talk in my presence again," Bakugou hisses slowly, letting go of her desk. Izumi stares at him before she slumps in her chair, her head hitting the top of her desk.
"Why did I do that?"
Blue eyes narrow a bit, the sound of panting and breathing heavily echo in the room, along with the sound of punches. Sweat drips off her body as Melissa pounds into the punching bag. Her mind was lost in the memories of the last few years.
Two Years Ago, I-Island
Melissa, twelve years old, stares in shock at the form her Uncle Might had taken. Her papa, whose blue eyes shone in concern flicker between him and her. She finally learned why her papa had cried three years ago. Her Uncle Might, who had told her that even though she didn't have a Quirk she could still be a Hero to other Heroes…just like her papa, had been gravely injured. His stomach has been removed alongside half of his lung, he only has five hours a day to use his Quirk and even then that wouldn't last.
"In a couple of years, I won't be able to use my Quirk," Uncle Might states as he pushes his shirt down, "One day I will have to hang up my cape and step down from being the Symbol of Peace," Melissa gulps at that. She actually never thought of her Uncle Might retiring. To her and so many people it seem like he would always be there, with a smile on his face.
"But he's still human," Melissa thought, looking at her Uncle, "He can still get hurt,"
"But…" Uncle Might turns his gaze to Melissa, "The thing is that my Quirk won't be lost," Melissa looks confused at that. The only way that could happen if he had a child and they inherited it, and she knew her Uncle Might was single, "The truth is, my Quirk is called One For All, its a stockholding power, but it is much more than that. You see i can pass on my Quirk,"
Melissa's eyes widen at that, feeling her papa gently squeezing her hand, "You…can pass…pass on your Quirk? But…Quirks don't work like that…"
"Mine does though," Uncle Might gently states, "I'm the eighth holder of One For All, the first person cultivates the power and then passes it on to another. The next refines it, and passes it on again. In this way, those crying out to be saved and those with brave and true hearts link to form a crystalline network of power," he smiles slightly, his eyes wet with tears, "I honestly haven't been looking for a successor, not yet at least. I wanted to find them, form a connection to them like my mentor did for me…and I have a few more years before my body can't fully handle One For All…but then, to my great surprise I already found them,"
Melissa blinks as Uncle Might chuckles, "A few days ago…when your teacher was going over lab safety…he had knocked down an experiment that would have exploded…many others ran, trying to flee the classroom…but you. You Melissa…you didn't run. Instead you leap over and covered the experiment with your body, yelling at everyone to run," he chuckles a bit, "Luckily for all of us…and your teacher," Melissa giggles as her Papa mutters angrily, "It was a dud, a fake so your classmates would really focus on safety and to not run in the lab. But what I saw was a young girl willing to do anything to keep people safe, I saw the person that I want to choose to be the next holder of One For All," Melissa gasped at this, not fully believing what her Uncle was saying. She had let go of the dream, the dream of being an actual hero so long ago. Had decided to be a hero for Heroes by making costumes. She gulps staring with wide eyes, trembling as her true dream ignites back into a blazing inferno, a longing that he thirst for.
"This is your choice Melissa," Uncle Might gently says, taking her hands into his own, "If you want to keep pursing your career as support specialist there is no shame in that. Being the bearer of One For All will be a burden…a great one. For they will need to be my successor as the Symbol of Peace…I have every fai-"
"I'll do it!" Melisaa blurts out, heart pounding in her chest. Her body trembling, eyes burning in determination! "I'll do it Uncle Might!" she gulps, taking deep breaths, "I know the dangers and risks of being a Pro... but I want this…I…I," she looks at her papa and he sighs, pulling her into a hug.
"I should had noticed sweetheart," he whispers, gently running his hand into her hair, "I never wanted to be a Hero…not the way Toshinori is…but if you want to do more than inventing,"
"I do like inventing," Melissa says, gripping her papa's shirt, "I like that my inventions help people…but…I…I want to do more, I want to save people, like Uncle Might,"
Her Papa smiles, "Then we got to plan on how your going to gain Toshinori's Quirk then," he pulls back slightly, "It will be a lot of work Melissa, Heroics is dangerous for everyone," his eyes flicker to Uncle Might who smiles sadly and nods in agreement, "But I know that you will be amazing,"
The sound of a rip pulls Melissa from her memories, her blue eyes widening as the sand bag she had been punching rips. She grimaces as the sand pools onto the floor, "not again…." She cringes as she unwraps the bandages from her hands.
"You know… I'm glad I decided to buy a unlimited amount of sandbags," Melissa looks up, smiling at the face of her Uncle Might, "trouble sleeping?"
"A bit…" Melissa muses, grabbing a broom and dustpan, "just ten more months…after two years of training, I'll be taking the U.A Entrance Exam," she felt giddy about it, especially since she had recently moved to Japan to get used to living here this year. For the last two years she had been following the intensive training plan both her uncle and papa had made for her, following it to a T.
Of course it wasn't only physical training she was focusing on, keeping her grades up she wasn't going to waste this opportunity, this chance to be a hero.
"Remember to give your time to rest," Uncle Might chuckles, rubbing the back of his neck as she sends him a deadpan look, "I know that sounds hypocritical of me but it's the truth Melissa. You're allowed to rest, you been training for this for two years now,"
"I know Uncle Might. But other people had their Quirks much longer," she reminds him, setting down the broom and dustpan and grabbing another sandbag, "I need all the training I can get. If I do, I can stand by their sides," her gaze goes over to the wall, her blue eyes shining at the circular object. Her papa had given it to her before she left I-Island.
Uncle Might gently squeezes her shoulder, his gaze turning to stare at the red and silver shield with the star in the center.
"Damn it…. Why do most heroes wear spandex? Do they not know what it does to kids like me?" A blond boy with a black streak in his hair, shaped like a bolt of lightning groans. He flops onto his couch staring at his phone as it showed an article of the newest heroes, Mt. Lady and Kamui Woods both who wore skintight body suits that made sure people noticed the muscles and curves on them.
For a boy at the age 14, going through puberty, it was torture. Plain and simple. "That's it! When I make my hero costume, I'm making sure it's not spandex, so I don't torture poor kids like me!"
"That is if you get into a hero course Denki," yellow eyes looked up to see a black haired woman with the same yellow eyes rummaging through all the papers on the table, "you do know you have to pass the written test and not just the practical. It's not just about the Quirk you have to study too,"
"I know mom!" Denki proclaims, leaning against the couch, "and I swear I am studying, I am just taking a break right now," his mom hums, raising an eyebrow at him and he smiles sheepishly, "lost your paper again?"
"No," she denies, but she pulls out one paper and curse, "your father decided to say that my thesis was wrong and I tried to prove to him that I was right,"
Denki stares at his mom, "you do know dad is from an advanced civilization that is miles ahead of us. Even if dad is more of a warrior than a researcher I think he knows what he's talking about,"
"Well I can't tell my bosses that my husband the alien/god told me that years of research is wrong," his mom gives out a cry finding what she wanted and stuffing it into her bag, "alright I'm heading out. Don't blow up the electricity again while training, keep your father from destroying our mugs, and please study and not just train or surf the web for costume ideas," she goes over to him, kissing his forehead and Denki smiles.
"Promise mom," Denki smiles as she ruffles his hair, bapping at her hand and making her laugh. Waving goodbye she hurried out of their apartment. Shaking his head he sighs and grabs his book, keeping his promise to his mom about studying.
She was right, he did need to study more. The Entrance Exam for U.A was in ten months, slowly creeping forward like an animal cornering him. Taking a deep breath he opens the textbook, while he didn't know what would be on the exam he wasn't going to be unprepared. He was ready to prove to all those that doubt him that he can get into U.A.
Izumi felt it before she heard Bakugou's roar of rage. Looking up from her locker, a tingle going down her neck, she quickly steps to the side just as Bakugou's hand slammed into it. An explosion rang out, making people scream in fear and fright, while some cheer in anticipation about the Quirkless freak about to get pummel.
Bakugou snarls, pulling his hand free from the dent and slightly melted locker door. Izumi's eyes widened at this but her focus was pulled towards Bakugou, "think you're funny don't you Deku? I think I need to remind you of your damn place in society!"
People grin as Bakugou throws a punch, expecting the fist to hit her in the face. But to their shock and even Izumi's, she easily dodged it. Bakugou growls, gritting his teeth before throwing another one. Izumi's stares with wide eyes as once more she steps to the side, staring at the fist that slowly moved towards where she once stood.
"Woah," Izumi whispers. Bakugou roars in fury, swinging in rage, but instead of stepping away, Izumi bends backwards. People's cheers began to quiet, the crowd began to mumble to each other.
"What the hell…. Maybe we should get a," the crowd screams in shock as one of Bakugou's lackey tries to grab her from behind but Izumi jumps, back flipping into the air and landing on her feet, "shit! Someone get one of the teachers! I think Deku's awakening a Quirk!"
Izumi stumbles, her heart beating rapidly in her chest, looking at her hands as she stares with wonder, "how… how am I… doing this?" She whispers but her head snaps up as Bakugou unleashes multiple explosions at her in rage.
"Just shut the fuck Deku! And stay down like the pebble you are!" He grins as he sees fear in Deku's eyes, relishing it. This is what being a Hero was about, reminding those weak and pathetic villains who dare show their faces where they fit in society. They were always meant to lose, while he, the Hero, will always win. But his eyes widened, as Deku's eyes turned pure white..her teeth sharpened into fangs as she snarled, he wasn't prepared for her to grab his arm.
Everyone stares in shock, as Midoriya hisses before punching Bakugou in the chest, sending him flying and skidding across the floor into the legs of their teacher. Izumi blinks, her eyes turning green once more… panting…her head snapping as one girl, someone she recognized as the class president holding up her hands. "Midoriya… it's ok… the teachers are on their way… we're going to take you to the Nurse's office ok… you're going through a Late Qu-" she squeaks as Izumi snarls at her, black ooze slowly covering her hands, the tips forming into claws.
"Why should I trust you?" Izumi snarls, tears streaming down her face. She was confuse, scared… she had no idea what was going on, but she knew one thing, "why should I trust you when you were cheering for Bakugou in beating me up!"
The students shuffle as Izumi pants… she… she had to get…the others let out screams as Izumi runs. She could hear teachers calling out for her to come back but she ignores it as she runs out of the school.
She ran, and ran, Izumi didn't know where she was going but she just ran. The strange thing was that she didn't feel tired. Usually by now she would feel out of breath, but now, she felt she could keep going without stopping.
Unfortunately a car decided that she really needed to stop, as it hit her straight on in her panic.
Izumi groans in pain as she lands on the pavement. Her legs bended in ways they should not be bent. Blood dripped from wounds making large puddles stain the dark pavement. She closes her eyes, "This..is definitely not my day,"
"You're telling me," Izumi's eyes open wide as she hears a voice speak to her, a voice in her head, "lesson number one: don't run in a blind panic,"
"Who…. Who said that?" Izumi whispers but she stares in shock as a dark black liquid oozes from her body like slime. Her legs snapped back into place, torn flesh being pulled together, slowly healed. Izumi stares, as her body stands back up without any wounds, there was still pain, which hurt a lot. But her legs were no longer broken, and while the sleeves of her uniform where still cut and stain with her blood there was cuts in her arms…nothing.
"Sweetie," her head snaps as a man gently grabs her arm, his orange eyes looking at her in concern, "just come sit over here alright? We just called some heroes and the paramedics…" he tried to gently lead her over to the sidewalk but her body wouldn't budge, at least not to the direction he wanted her to go to.
Instead her body moves without her permission, pulling her arm free from his grasp. Once more she was running, ignoring the cries of people calling her to come back… this time she didn't run far, just enough to skid into an alleyway. Panting, her eyes wide, she stomps her foot on the ground, "oh my god…. I was hit by a car… my legs were broken,"
She then felt a twinge of pain in her hands and pulled them up. The slime that had covered them had recede, but her eyes focused on the skins of her fingers as small barbs slowly began to grow, "what is happening to me?"
"What is happening to you, is because of me," the voice from earlier speaks up once more but this time it wasn't in her head. Izumi felt her body freeze up as more ooze emerged from her back, forming sharp white fangs and two cat eye shaped eyes, pure white and menacing.
Izumi stares in shock, taking a few steps back that her back hits the brick wall of the building. She slowly skids down, "What the hell are you?" She whispers staring in shock, "you… you can't be a Quirk,"
"I am Venom, and you are mine," the being states as if there was no argument, "I am much better than a Quirk, Izumi Midoriya,"
"That… doesn't actually answer my question," she mutters looking at him in confusion, "if your not a Quirk… then what are…"
"I am a Klyntar or better known as a symbiote. I am not from this world, in truth I am not from this dimension," Izumi stares with wide eyes at Venom who grins sharply, "Many years ago I was sent to my dimension's version of this planet, I bonded with a hero and now I can give you his powers," the symbiote pushes his face more, "superhuman strength, speed and leaping. Durability, agility and reflexes which you have experience with. You will be able to climb on walls, I can heal wounds that should have killed you,"
Izumi stares at him, eyes widen at all of this, "But…why? What's the catch? While I like to think the good of people there has to be a reason why you're doing this,"
Venom blinks, tilting his head "Smart little one," he purrs, grinning more, "You see I need a Host to live. While I won't die without one, I will be in constant pain and hunger. In return for allowing me to live in your body I shall give you these powers," he chuckles a bit, "Of course there are setbacks…my hunger. My kind has two food sources…one emotion. Or at least negative emotions. Which is why you didn't fear that loud yappy boy…I was eating your fear of him…it was delicious. The other food source…is brains…or flesh whichever works. Humans have a chemical in them that we need, that we crave,"
Izumi blinks at this as Venom stares at her, "Ok…I think I can work with that," she felt a jolt of shock running through her and she stares at Venom, realizing it was from him, "After 300 years of Quirks being around, many Quirks made people crave human flesh and brains," she shrugs her shoulders, "FuHu tastes like brains and human flesh and has the same properties as it,"
Venom stares at her, before his grin becomes even wider at this, "I think I'm going to like this world. So in return of living in your body and getting my source of food, I shall give you power, I shall make you a hero, just as you always dream of"
Izumi stares at the symbiote, gulping a bit, "How do you even know about that?"
"I know everything Izumi, everything about you. I am inside your head," he bonks his head against Izumi's, chuckling as she tries to back away but yelps when she hits the back of her head against the brick wall, "You are a loser, Izumi…but I can work with that,"
"Calling me a loser isn't a good pitch talk…you would be a seller," Izumi closes her eyes, taking a deep breath. She literally had an alien in her, acting like some sort of parasite.
She jumps when Venom growls, his white eyes narrowing at her, "Do not call me that! I am not a parasite!" he hisses only calming down when Izumi raises her hands and softly apologies.
Izumi stares at him, biting at her lip…she really shouldn't be agreeing to this but who knows how people would react to the fact that she had an alien living inside her body. People may think she is a mad person, or if they believe her, they hunt her down and try to experiment on her…she shivers at the thought of such things.
And there was the tantalizing offer of power. To do stuff she only dream of, to finally have a chance to be a hero. She felt like she had fallen into a spider's web, but instead of trying to escape it, she was allowing herself to get entangled in it…with no desire to leave it.
"Alright….alright," Izumi gulps taking deep breaths as Venom purrs, "You can stay…but first we need to get to a doctor," she felt confusion and anger, "To be allow to get FuHu I need a prescription from a doctor! They're not going to give me, a Quirkless girl who has no reason for it, fake human meat. We'll…have to pretend you're a Quirk…"
"That I can do," Venom grins as Izumi slowly stands up, "I don't know how long it will take for this…doctor's approval but I can take chocolate, tater tots and your emotions as substitutes….I will refrain from eating your organs,"
Izumi glares at him, "Geeze, thanks," she sighs, shaking her head as Venom pulls himself back into her body. She stares at her hands, before running them through her head, "Damn…what am I getting myself into?"
"Battles…combat…blood and shatter bones," Venom states proudly in her head, "You will show this world of Heroes that you are not weak. That together we will be strong. You and I, Izumi, will be doing amazing things…Spectacular things."
Izumi stills at that, just at the entrance of the alleyway. While she felt excitement from Venom, she felt happiness and relief. The symbiote was glad that she agreed to be his host. Though some part of her thinks that he would have forced her to if she didn't agree, he didn't want to do that. He just wanted to live, to survive…and if that meant helping her with her dreams, her dreams to be a Hero, he would do that.
So, Izumi started walking home, just like she always did. But this time she was standing tall, no longer slouching and trying to hide from the world. Because even if she got them in a different way than most of the 80% of the people, she now had powers…powers that she can use to help people..and she was no longer alone, in fact she will no longer be alone.
"Got that damn right,"
While this whole thing has started in spider-man verse there will be other marvel stuff coming into this fic. Ie: Melissa and Denki...if you guys haven't already figure it out lol
Also yes, I combine both the food sources that the symbiotes eat. Negative Emotions and flesh...luckily for Izumi they have FuHu, fake human flesh that taste like it and has the same properties that Venom will need.
Also yes, Izumi fought Bakugou like Peter did with Flash in the Ramni movies...Tobey Spider best spider in my option (Don't at me he was my first spider man)
Also some marvel Heroes are alive, born in this generation while some like Iron Man and Captain America were born during the Dawn of Heroes. and right now just telling you, Infinity Wars and End Game did not happen in this universe.
Anyway hope you all enjoy! Please leave a comment I love them!
