(Pokes head in) yeaaaah I know its been like almost a full years since I updated this, and I am terribly sorry, really I am...I just...like this chapter would not work for me and I hit a writers block and inspiration died down...but hey! I finally got to it, I finally beat it! I'm hoping the next chapter won't take as long but I am getting inspiration for it again.

Anyway...enjoy what I did write for this...not as good as I wanted to be, but I'm happy with it

Izumi stared at the door of her apartment, shuffling on her feet. Biting at her lip she jumps when Venom emerges over her shoulder, "well are we just gonna stand here and do nothing or are you actually going to go in?"

Izumi frowns at him, "I'm going in… I'm just nervous! No doubt the school had called about my fight with Bakugou," she stops when Venom growls at the mention of her bully, "and thus the awakening of my Quirk… you. Mom is going to want to take me to a hospital,"

"Isn't that the plan?" Venom mutters, "So you can get this FuHu stuff? I doubt you want to eat actual human beings,"

"I don't…. I'm just…" Izumi rubs her hands together, sighing, "just a bit nervous. Most people don't get Quirks at my age… I'm hoping they won't see through the bluff," Venom rumbles but Izumi turns the knob and opens the door. Venom blinks and prepared to bite down on the green rocket that had surged towards his host until he realized it was the mother. He snaps his jaws shut as he stares at the woman who pulls his Host into a crushing hug. He was surprised that he didn't need to heal her ribs from the strength of the hug.

"Oh Izumi! Are you ok?! The school called and told me you got into a fight with Katsuki!" Izumi had to hold back the urge to flinch at the name. Her mom was close to Bakugou's mother, Mitsuki, the two being best friends from High School. It was the main reason why she never told her mother about the abuse that Bakugou did to her, Mrs. Bakugou was the very few that stayed friends with her mother after she was declared Quirkless. No… only one of the few that her mother stayed friends with, most showed disgust and one even told her mother and father to give her up and try again. Izumi remembered her mother using her Quirk on the woman's ear to drag her out of the apartment, scolding her for her awful disbelief and to never come again.

Her mother had given up so much for her, especially after her father's death. The Board of Midoriya Technologies also hasn't been making it easy for her. The Board had been trying for years to sell the company but luckily her mother was smart, having gone into the business course of U.A herself, some saying she was trained by Nedzu herself…but still they didn't make it easy for her.

"Izumi?" Blinking her green eyes as hands gently cup her face, "are you ok?"

Izumi takes a deep breath, "mom…. I think I got my Quirk," giving a mental nod to Venom, the symbiote emerges from her back, blinking at her mother, "This is Venom…. And I need to go to the doctor because he hungers for brains and flesh and I rather get prescribed for FuHu right away before he decides to eat my organs,"

"I said chocolate will due until you gain the prescription," Venom growls but keeps his gaze to Inko. Izumi stood frozen, she heard horror stories about how some parents reacted to Quirks that required "abnormal" substances. Just last year a girl had attacked a fellow student because she lost control of her Quirk, having been forced to ignore her Quirk's need for blood by her parents.

Her mom stares at Venom before she nods, "Alright," she pulls back and heads over to the coffee table, grabbing her purse. She blinks as she sees tears in Izumi's eyes and softly smiles, "Its ok dear…we're going to get everything set up…and I am going to have some words with Dr. Tsubasa,"

"Mom…please don't sue the hospital,"

"No promises,"

"Mom I feel like I'm going crazy," Shoto yawns as he enters the kitchen, rubbing his eyes. He blinks sleepily, turning his head towards his mother who leans against the counter, "I can't take it anymore. Everyday the children seem more like him. And Shoto, that child's left side sometimes looks unbearable to me. All I can see is his father…I can't raise him anymore…especially with the medicine Enji keeps shoving down his throat…when he started showing signs of the Family Gift I was ecstatic but…but Enji…"

Shoto blinks at this, "Mama?" he slowly walks towards her, "What are you saying?" he whispers, making his mom freeze. The sound of the pot steaming rang in his ears, his mother shakily turning her gaze at him. He takes a step back, a lump forming in his throat before pain erupted on his right side. He heard a howl and it took him a second to realize it was coming from him.

But then everything froze, as a sound of a cane slamming onto the ground. Shoto's heart froze a bit as everything seemed to freeze. He watched his mother, her body frozen, ice on her hand with tears on her face.

"Well this is a predicament," Shoto turns his head to see a man in a black business suit, holding a cane with a silver skull attached to it. His eyes stare at Shoto's form and the boy shivers, "hmmmm I could kill you… he never did say how I should expose Endeavour…." He clicks his tongue, "though if I learned anything from that blasted Blaze.." he shakes his head, "I don't need another rebellious rider because I decided to use a loophole in a deal…. "

Shoto's eyes widen, and he opens his mouth to say something when the man places his hand on his face, red burning eyes staring into his soul… he shuts his eyes to hide from them before he feels the presence leave. Opening them, Shoto finds himself in a dark void, alone.

He turns around, his blue and gray eyes widening as he catches the sound of a growl. A shiver went down his spine as he slowly turned to see two glowing blue and silver eyes before fangs wrapped tightly around his throat.

Shoto sits up with a gasp, panting and wheezing for air. His eyes were wide as his head throbbed in pain…with a groan he flops back onto his mattress.

"Johnny I swear to god, if you change our uniforms again!"

"Sue! We might become the first hero team to become number 2! This is a moment to celebrate and what's wrong with changing from our-" a wail was heard along with a crash, "not the face! Not the face!"

Shoto chuckles before he gently pushes himself out of his bed. Rubbing his face, flinching a bit as he felt the scar, he opens the drawer and pulls out a bottle of medicine, popping a pill in. Shivering, he trudged out of his room, seeing his Aunt Susan chasing his father with a pillow.

It still amazed him how much changed since he was five. The day his mother threw boiling water on his face, calling his left side unbearable, was suppose to have been the worse day of his life. But it happen to be the best day of his life… because of one Johnny Storm, the Human Torch of the Fantastic Four.

The Fantastic Four were a group of four friends who used to be Quirkless. A scientist, Dr. Reed Richards, an astronaut, Ben Grimm, a chief genetics researcher, Susan Storm and her brother, a pilot, Johnny Storm. All four along with the owner of the Space Station, Victor Von Doom, went to space to study clouds of cosmic energy.

Unfortunately the storm had come too early, and all five were hit with the energy. Each of them gaining powers, Reed the ability to stretch like rubber, Susan to turn invisible and create shields, Ben was transformed into a rock base creature with incredible strength and Johnny to light his body aflame. Victor too gains powers, his body becoming metal and to control lightning. Though while the four tried to learn to control their powers, Victor after losing his stockholders decided to use his new powers for revenge. After a great battle which the end result was of the now villain Dr. Doom being frozen in place after superheating how metal body and then cooling it down, the four were then order by the World Hero's Association to either get training to be Heroes, or to stop using their Quirks in public.

After talking with each it was agreed that they will embrace this new path and accepted the deal on becoming Heroes. After looking through countless schools that would take in adults instead of high schoolers, they accepted Nedzu's invitation. It was why Johnny was there, when his mother had her mental breakdown, as he had an internship with Endeavour.

Shoto…. Still didn't understand how it went the way it did. He shakes his head as the sound of a cane slamming rang in his ears, but the Human Torch was able to subdue his father and call the police and paramedics. And just like that, all of Enji's horrible dark secrets were revealed, the Quirk Marriage, Toya''s and his brutal training once they gain their Quirks, Toya's death….nothing was hidden from the public's eyes. It didn't take long for them to call for Enji's imprisonment.

He lost his license, his rank, everything to his name was given to his wife and then he was thrown into jail, with no hope of ever getting out. His mother was sent to a hospital to get help while the Fantastic Four volunteered to watch over the three children until she was mentally and physically ready to take care of them.

Shoto enters the large room, sighing when he stops Uncle Ben kissing his girlfriend, "Really? Right when I'm about to get breakfast?"

The woman chuckles, gently pulling away, her dark purple hair pooling down her back, a few strands laying on Ben's stone like skin, "You do know you have to get use to this Storm?" Nemuri Kayama smirks, her blue eyes twinkling, "I'm going to be one of your teachers next year and while I teach Modern Hero Art History, I also teach students how to get used to the public eye. While Heroes are public figures, many are treated like celebrities. One day you're going to be subjected to a media frenzy, no matter what you do. Many are going to send you things that you don't want to see," she sits up making Ben grumble but Shoto thinks it was also because he was annoyed about this side of Heroics. Shoto, while young at the time, remembers many reporters outside the Agency trying to get an interview with him after his relationship with Midnight came out.

He blinks as he feels a hand ruffling his head and looks up to see Johnny smiling down at him. Shoto smiles slightly, Johnny helped a lot with him and his siblings, especially his mother. He always made sure that when he wasn't training he spend time with the three siblings, making sure they were comfortable, that they knew that Endeavour was coming back, and even bringing them to visit their mother when she was ok for visitors. It didn't take long for his mother and Johnny to catch feelings and when Shoto was ten they were married and the children were given the last name Storm, thus fully freeing them from Endeavour.

"But not me.." he looks at his left hand, feeling the warmth that was just begging to come out, "Not me…I will never be fully free from him…"

A door slammed shut, making the knick knacks on the dresser rattle. But Momo didn't care for it, not when she was too busy wiping the tears from her eyes. Pulling her hair band off and letting her hair fall to her back she flops onto her bed, screaming into the pillow.

She knew it was going to be hard, after years of being homeschool transitioning to an actual school would have been hard. Especially when she was entering the last year of middle school, but she had wanted to get use to going to a school with other children before she gets into U.A. "If I get into U.A," she shakes her head to rid of those thoughts.

Sighing she flips onto her back, a frown on her face. She knew it would be… difficult, but she hadn't expected that what she had seen in movies were true. She knew that even in this day people would judge over anything they didn't think was normal. And Momo being a new kid, was prime target. Sure, some tried to befriend her, but she knew it was because she was the daughter of the CEO of Alchemax, trying to get close to get in her father's good graces…but others had teased her, mostly on her weight…and breast size.

Momo wrapped her arms around herself, squeezing her eyes shut. She had to eat more than most people due to her Quirk, Creation using the lipids in her body to create the objects that she wants. If she didn't eat enough, she would lose too much fat causing her to become underweight and frail. But like people before the Dawn of Powers, people judge. While the rise of Quirks cause some troubles that took years to fix, there were good things. No one cared about who you were into or what was in your pants when someone could impersonate a friend to get close to you to kill you. But in other ways, it gave people more ways to judge people, even more harshly. Because of the way her Quirk works, Momo knew that her Hero Costume has to reveal more skin to fully use her Quirk, but many people think it was because she wanted the attention.

She growls, punching the mattress of her bed. Some of the girls had found her notes and had mocked her…badly…she wipes at her face, trying to dry up the tears when she looks up as her door opens. Walking into the room, holding a plate of pizza was her older sister, the Heiress to the Family, Anzu Yoayorozu.

"Hey….I brought Pizza," she whispers, her red hair going down her back. She lets go of the Pizza, the plate floating in the air, as she closes the door. She smiles, walking over and sitting on the edge of the bed, "Do you want to talk about it?"

"Not really," Momo whispers, sitting up. Anzu smiles, brushing a strand of her hair out of her face, before setting the plate down. Momo was always fascinated by her sister's Quirk, a powerful telekinetic ability, even stronger than their mother's, who Momo hardly remembers having died when she was five.

"Rough day huh?" Anzu smiles, "You know you can just go back to online schooling if you want? You don't have to do regular schooling until U.A."

Momo frowns, grabbing her pizza, "I'll be fine. I promise!" she states seeing her sister frown at her, "It's just a couple of kids who don't have anything better to do. I'm going to have to get use to stuff like this, many woman in the hero business get harassment from the public,"

"Well you're not a Hero, not yet," Anzu states, grabbing a brush, pulling it through Momo' hair, "So you shouldn't have to deal with that right now," she frowns more, "Especially at your age, you haven't even started official training yet," she holds up a hand when Momo opens her mouth, "And I don't count the tutors dad got you as official. They train you to fight, not how to be a Hero,"

Momo nods her head, humming when she felt her sister grimace, "Are you ok?"

"Yeah," Anzu sighs, rubbing her forehead, "everything is just loud right now,"

Momo frowns, "Its getting worse isn't it? Your powers?" her sister turns her head, before shaking her head.

"I'm fine...its just a headache...my telepathy has been off lately, I can't seem to focus," she shrugs her shoulders, "I can hear everything,"

"Anzu, its not just your telepathy," Momo frowns, "A month ago you had to concentrate to levitate a book or a chair across the room. Now that you have a nightmare, your entire bedroom shakes." she gently grabs her sister's hand, squeezing it, "I think its time we should tell dad,"

Anzu stares down at her lap, before she shakes her head, "No...I have it handle...and anyway, if we tell dad, then we need to tell dad-"

"Tell dad what?" the two girls jump a bit and turn to see their father standing at the doorway, blinking his black eyes at them. Momo smiles at the sight of her father, a rather large and imitating man, he was very kind to her and Anzu. He wore a large white business suit, with a few rings on his finger. He was bald, having lost his hair years ago. "Did something happen? Who do I need to set my lawyers on,"

"Nothing father," Anzu chuckles, before she gives him a blinding smile that really didn't reach her eyes, "What has you in such a good mood?"

"Well," Wataru Yaoyorozu smiles as he squeezes himself in, "I'm in such a wonderful good mood since I see my beautiful daughters," Momo smiles, hiding it behind her hand, "And because Alchemax had just bought Detnerat,"

Momo blinks at this, "Wait...really? But from what I heard Yotsubashi told you that he would never partner with you, let alone sell his company to you,"

"He didn't really have a choice," her father responded with a shrug of his shoulders, "It was discovered that Yotsubashi is the leader of the newly rebuilt Meta Liberation Army," both girl's eyes widen at this staring at him in shock, "I know, but it seems that he was the descendant of Destro himself..using his company and his connections with the Hearts and Mind Party leader Koku Hanabata and with the head reporter of Shoowaysha Publishing, Chitose Kizuki. They had rebuilt the army in the shadows and spreading Destro's ideology, amassing loyal followers...though it seems they weren't as careful as they thought. The heroes had found out and had them arrested," he sat on the end of the bed, "Their board had call me up and asked me if I wanted to buy the company...wash their hands off of it...I was kind enough to do so,"

He wraps his arms around the both of them, "And I through that we could go out and celebrate. A dinner, just the two of us?"

"That sounds like a great idea dad," Anzu smiles and even Momo had to nod her head in agreement. With her going to public school, she hadn't had as much time as she liked to hang out with her dad and sister, and she knew that once she got into U.A, she wouldn't have hardly enough time to do so either, as all her mind will be pulled towards training to be a Hero.

"A splendid idea," Momo smiles, leaning into her dad's warm embrace. A large imitating man that would never hurt her….never.

Izumi shuffles in her seat, biting at her lip as the doctors went around frantically, there mumbles visible in her ears. She could feel Venom growing annoyed and she grabs another chocolate bar, one of the many her mother had bought on the way to the hospital, and held it up to him. Growling, he snaps his fangs into it, munching but keeping his white eyes narrow on the doctors.

"This is amazing," Doctor Sero whispers, tracing a finger against the x-ray that Izumi had took, "She defiantly still has the toe joint," Izumi started to sweat, her arms trembling in fear of them discovering that Venom was not a Quirk, "But she defintitly has a power," he turns towards them, "Venom here is proof enough of that,"

"Then how," her mother asked, her eyes narrow as she grans Izumi's hand and gently squeeze, "And why did it take so long?"

"It might be because of the X-Gene," at this, Venom perked up and Izumi turns her head to him.

"The X-Gene?" her mother frowns, "I never heard of that term before?"

Doctor Sero sighs, sitting down at his seat, "Not many would. During the Dawn of Heroes, all powers were classified as mutants, but that was far from the truth. Quirks are from a Quirk Factor, the collective traits that compose of the power, which includes the primary power of said Quirk and allows said power to function properly. While there was another biological thing that caused powers, which was classified as the X-gene, which is more biological than the Quirk factor. Unlike with a Quirk Factor with some powers can be turn off like say with Eraserhead's Quirk can do, the X-gene can not be shut off and unlike with Quirks, most are activated during puberty and not at the age of four. When this gene is activated, it starts producing an exotic protein that produces chemical signals which causes the other genes to mutate,"

"So you're saying that she is a mutant?" her mom asks, eyes narrow, "and if this gene is in her blood why wasn't it discovered earlier? Why weren't we told that she could have this X-Gene when we had it discovered that she didn't have a Quirk?"

"When the X-Gene is not activated, it is very dormant, almost hard to see, almost impossible to discovered. Very few times are we, the doctors, are able to find them during blood tests. To many, there just regulars genes, nothing special when they're dormant. Though I will admit she should have put on file when the toe joint test was done. Many people don't say it but the 80% of the people who have Quirks are just actually mutants, the toe joint isn't as rare as some people say it is," Doctor Sero rolled his eyes, mumbling about some other doctors, "Unfortunately, some people think that having the toe joint test is all they need to see if a child has a power or not. You just had the bad luck of getting one of those doctors,"

"But I don't think the X-gene is activated," Izumi thought with panic and fear running through her, "My powers are coming from the alien from another dimension I'm sharing my body with!"

"You don't have to worry a thing about that," Izumi jump a bit as she heard Venom's voice in her head, "Oh calm down, its just me," Izumi frowns at the snark but he chuckles, "You have nothing to worry about...while we are bonded your body isn't exactly normal...and while it isn't the same as an X-Gene being activated, it will be enough to fool them,"

Izumi made a hum at that, but turns to Doctor Sero who pulls up a piece of paper attached to a clipboard, "From our tests though, it does seem that Izumi will need FuHu, so I'll write a prescription and have it on file that she will be allowed access to it," Izumi sighs at this, "I'll also have it write up that you only activated your powers, so that way you won't get in trouble with the authorities for sudden public power use,"

Izumi nodded her head at this, but her mother frowns, "What sort of powers have she gotten sir? I know it has nothing to do with mine or my...my late husband's power,"

"Well from our tests, we have discovered that her muscles have become more efficient, and are still not only getting stronger but also more flexible too. From the endurance tests that we employed, shows that her stamina has increased as well, with training it will grow even more. Besides that, tiny little hairs growing along her hands and feet, which we theorized she will have the ability to crawl onto any surface. All in all, she has the abilities of a Spider pairing up with her...partnership with Venom here...I say she has a powerful power," Izumi trembles in excitement at this, but then she stills when Doctor Sero frowns, "Though the thing I most worried about is the scars along her back, shoulders and arms,"

"Scars?" Izumi stills at the cold tone in her mom's voice, "What scars? Who has been hurting my baby?"

"That Bakugou kid," Izumi stares with wide eyes, as Venom comes out, spilling the secret that she had kept hidden from her mother since she was four, "Ever since he gotten his Quirk, he's been making it his goal to show her what her place in society was because of her lack of power," Izumi tries to open her mouth, but find out that she couldn't open. No matter how much she tried, she couldn't open her mouth. She snaps her head towards the symbiote, glaring at him, "Oh don't get me that look! I'm not letting that damn brat hurt you anymore than he has! You should had told someone about how he suicide baited you!"

"Bakugou did what?" Izumi's shoulder slump as she sighs, looking at the ground to avoid the stares from her mother and Doctor Sero.
