As the students looked on at the villains emerging from the portal, the villains stared back at them. "The only real heroes I see are Thirteen and Eraser Head. Perplexing..." A deep voice spoke from an unconfirmed source, before the black mist started to pull together to a vaguely human shape. "According to the schedule we retrieved from UA, All Might should be here as well." This mist person spoke.
Aizawa picked up what the man had said, however. "So you scumbags used the press as a cover and sneaked onto campus." He deduced the actions of the villains.
He received no answer to this as the villains continued to march forward. "Where is he? I went through the trouble of bringing so many friends who're eager to meet him. They want All Might. The great symbol of peace. I can't believe he's not here." The man covered in hands complained as the villains continued to advance.
The villain beside him, who was CLEARLY a Gore Magala, simply smirked. "Back where I come from, the hunters would always come when monsters started making a ruckus and putting people in danger. And I see a good handful of kids up there who look like they need some danger." The Pre-Elder Dragon suggested.
"Not a bad idea." The hand-covered villain agreed, looking up at the students above.
Aizawa was immediately enraged at that statement, his scarves immediately flaring out. Thirteen held out a hand to keep the students back as they looked on with varying levels of confusion and fear on their face. And the monster students all looked on down at the small army of villains still emerging from the portal. "So these are REAL villains from this world..." Daruka said.
"Honestly, some of them would be right at home back in our world." Maxima admitted.
However, even as many of these villains advanced towards them, some students were still skeptical. "What? Real villains? No way. How could so many of them get into a UA facility this secure?" Kirishima questioned.
Yaoyorozu then made her way towards the front of the group. "Yeah, Thirteen. Why aren't the alarms going off?" She asked.
"Good question. I'm not sure." The astronaut heroine admitted as she looked back at the students.
"Is the entire campus under attack? Or is this their only target?" Todoroki wondered. "Either way, if the alarm sensors aren't being triggered, then one of these villains must have a Quirk that's masking their presence here. They carefully chose this isolated facility as an entry point at a time when a class was being taught. They're fools for trespassing here, but they've thought this out." He pointed out as they looked at the villains still advancing towards them. "Whatever their plan is, they must have a concrete objective in mind. But what is it?" He wondered again as he looked at the man covered in hands, the apparent leader of the group.
Many students were quickly disturbed at how dire Todoroki made the situation sound, but Aizawa quickly moved in front of the group, "Thirteen, get them out of here and alert the main campus." He instructed.
Midoriya, however, had some concerns. "What are you gonna do? You can't fight them on your own! There's too many of them. Even if you can nullify their Quirks, your fighting style's not suited for this. Your power works best in stealth and one-on-one fights. That's not gonna help with a group." He explained his worries to his teacher.
"You can't be a pro if you only have one trick." Aizawa told the green-haired boy, causing him to gasp in surprise.
Zafira then came up beside her teacher. "You may have a few tricks up your sleeve, but you can't handle this on your own. There's too many." She told him, before pointing to the humanized Frenzy beast. "And that one. He's from our world. Most of us probably couldn't take him." She explained.
Aster also flew up and landed beside the teacher. "And he's got a specialized virus for a power. Back in our world, it killed monsters and brought us back as zombies that attacked everything and spread the virus. But for hunters, it either weakened them or made them stronger depending on if they could get a handle on it. But who knows what it can do here. Best case scenario, he weakens his own allies or turns them into zombies. Worse case scenario, he's basically a walking steroid for them." He added.
"Whatever he was doesn't matter. What does matter here and now is that he's a villain and he looks human enough to take down." The scruffy teacher told them. "You were monsters before, but now you're my students. And I'm going to keep you out of it and protect you like any other student." He added, before looking at Thirteen. "I'll leave it to you, Thirteen." He said and received a nod from the heroine, before leaping down the stairs towards the villains.
A villain with a skull-like helmet smirked as he saw Eraser Head coming, raising his fingers, which looked like gun barrels. "Shooting Squad. Take your aim!" He ordered.
Filler He was soon joined by a woman in some kind of leotard with long grey hair, which rose up like Aizawa's scarf, plus a very large man in a stitched-up suit and a gas mask with bull horns on it. "Didn't our intel say it was just gonna be Thirteen and All Might out here? Who's that?" The woman asked.
"Don't recognize him, but if he thinks he can take us down easy, he's dead." The bull-masked man declared as they took aim while Aizawa readied his scarf.
"Let's gun him down!" They declared together.
However, Aizawa opened his eyes and activated his Quirk, causing their Quirks to fail, the gun-fingered man's guns not firing and the woman's hair falling over her face. "My Quirk!" Gun-fingers cried out.
"Where are my bullets?!" Bull-Mask demanded, before the three of them were entangled in Aizawa's scarf, being launched into the air and then yanked towards each other so their heads slammed together with great force, quickly knocking them out.
The villains were all shocked at this, but one now recognized the hero as he stood up. "Idiots! That's Eraser Head! A pro! He can cancel your Quirks just by looking at you! " That villain cried out.
"Cancellation?" A villain with four arms and a torso apparently made of rock questioned as he charged the teacher. "Bet you can't erase the Quirk of a heteromorphic-type like me, can you?!" He questioned, leaping into the air and preparing to crash down on Aizawa, fist-first.
However, Aizawa easily dodged these attacks. "Yeah, you're right!" He declared, before delivering a powerful haymaker to the villains face, launching him back. But he then shot his scarf out after him, wrapping around his leg. "But a villain like you is only dangerous if you can reach me." He said, dodging the attack of another villain and kicking him back into two other villains. "Good thing I've taken measures to make sure that never happens!" He declared, finally swinging and slamming the Heteromorphic villain down on top of them for a quad takedown. "Now which one of you gutter punks is next?" He demanded.
However, as his goons stood before the hero uncertainly, the leader of the villains only sighed. "There he goes, trying to intimidate us. He is strong and since he's hiding behind those goggles, you can't tell whose Quirk he's erasing. He's making it hard for us to work together or rely on each other's powers." The hand-covered man realized as a female villain with pigtails growled at the hero, making her pigtails into the shape of drills, before the suddenly returned to normal, distracting her and allowing Eraser Head to kick her in the face, before wrapping his scarf around the neck of a vulture-like villain and slamming him to the ground. "How annoying. The worst thing about dealing with Pros is when they live up to their hype." He said in annoyance, scratching his neck.
Once again, the Gore Magala villain chuckled. "He seems to be giving our boys a tough time. Maybe I ought to give them a pick-me-up." He declared, starting to leak out a black mist from his body, fanning it forward with his wings just enough for it to reach the villains ahead of him, but not get to Aizawa.
A villain with red hair, skin and eyes in a sleeveless black Gi rushed at Aizawa, some of this mist now emanating from him as he rushed towards Aizawa faster than the teacher could've anticipated, barely managing to block it and, even though he cancelled the man's Quirk, it felt as if he had been hit by a sledgehammer. (So strong! I know I erased his Quirk! Is this what Aster was talking about?!) He questioned as the force of the blow caused him to fly back. But he used this to his advantage, wrapping his scarf around the villain's wrist and pulling him forward, the villain stumbling off balance as he tried not to fall on his face, allowing Aizawa to recover his footing and deliver a knee to the man's solar plexus, before slamming both hands on the back of his neck to knock him out. A couple more villains rushed in with speeds exceeding his own and managed to land a few hits on him, but he managed to stay strong, ducking their next attacks and hitting them with a spinning kick to their head, rendering them unconscious
He then threw his scarf out again at a woman in a purple leotard with similarly colored heeled boots, gloves and a mask that covered the lower half of her face. However, she also reacted faster than he anticipated, pulling down her mask to reveal a mouth full of razor-sharp teeth [1]. "Let us dance!" She declared, yanking him forward. Aizawa was pulled forward a few feet, but managed to drag himself to a stop and pull back, now in a tug of war with this woman. And once again, despite her Quirk being erased, along with her lithe frame, was now overpowering him to the point he was JUST BARELY contending in this tug of war.
However, this also left him in a tight spot as four more Frenzy-empowered villains rushed him. Growling at this, he had an idea that was only slightly better than getting beaten up by four villains at once, pulling back against the purple-clad villainess with more effort, causing her to respond with a powerful yank back towards herself, but he simply held onto his scarf and stopped resisting, allowing himself to be pulled towards her, narrowly avoiding being jumped by the four villains, but now he would have to take his chances with the woman, who now pulled out a pair of sais while gnashing her teeth.
However, before Aizawa could be brought close enough for those tear to tear him apart, a baseball-sized wad of gum surging with Dragon Energy flew past the Erasure Hero and flying into the razor-toothed woman's mouth, causing her to pain and choke on both the gum and the painful energy infused with it. And this left her open for Zafira to rush in and do a backflip, knocking the the sai-wielding villain into the air with her tail. Before Aizawa could snap at her, however, he heard the four villains who tried to jump him during his tug-of-war with the razor-toothed woman readying themselves to attack him again, but they suddenly found themselves slammed to the floor when Maxima crashed down on them. Another heteromorphic villain tried to rush the former mammoth monster, but suddenly felt himself being forced away by a stream of Dragon Energy from Daruka as she stepped up beside the former Fanged Beast.
Meanwhile, as the rest of the students made their way towards the exit, the black portal suddenly opened up in the floor in front of them and the Dark Mist villain rose from it and blocked their path, shocking Thirteen. "There is no escape for you!" The villain declared.
"Damn! He must've blitzed past Aizawa and Daruka's group! We're not gonna just shake him!" Aster snapped.
The mist villain continued to rise up from the portal, making himself seem bigger and like more of a roadblock. "It's a pleasure to meet you. We are the League of Villains. I know it's impolite, but we decided to invite ourselves in to this haven of justice to say hello." He explained to the unnerved students and glaring teacher. "And besides, isn't this a fitting place for All Might, the Symbol of Peace, to take his last breath?" The villain questioned, leaving a previously terrified Midoriya to gasp in shock and many other students to brace for a fight.
"Hey! The mist thing is my shtick, buddy!" Ivy snapped indignantly.
"I believe he was supposed to be here today and yet, I see no sign of him. There must have been some sort of change in plans that we could not have foreseen." He said, before, spreading his arms out like wings of mist.
"Yeah, sorry about that. Guess he just had thing to deal with that are more important than you freaks." Tana declared.
"Calling me a freak? That's quite the claim from one who looks to be a monster in human clothing!" The mist man declared.
All the monsters froze at this. (He knows.) They realized.
"Hey! Are you saying that just because she has a mutation Quirk!? Not cool, dude!" Mina snapped.
"Ah, well in the end it doesn't matter. I still have a role to play." He declared as Thirteen popped the cap on one of her suit's fingers. However, before she could spring into action, Bakugo and Kirishima both leapt towards the villain, the former unleashing a blast that created a cloud of smoke and obstructed everyone's vision.
"Did you think we were just gonna stand around and let you tear this place to shreds?" Kirishima asked.
However, to everyone's shock, the smoke began to clear and the villain's mist became visible again. "You live up to your school's reputation. But you should be more careful, children. Otherwise, someone might get hurt." The villain said as he reformed from a strange metal collar-like apparatus.
"You two, get out of the way right now!" Thirteen ordered.
However, the villain wouldn't allow her to do whatever she had planned. "I'll scatter you around this facility to meet my comrades! And your deaths!" He declared as he expanded greatly to completely envelope the class and their teacher in his dark haze.
"Crap! What is this?!" Kirishima asked as he and Bakugo struggled against the force.
Behind them, Uraraka and Sato also struggled against the force, before Iida grabbed them and dashed back to safety, while all the others simply held against the pressure as best they could. Iida looked back at his classmates in concern, only to be shocked as he saw they were all enveloped in an enormous dark sphere of mist, too thick to see through. "What's going on!?" The bespectacled speedster demanded as he looked back at his friends' situation.
Tana had been rendered unconscious from entering the portal, but suddenly snapped back into reality when she felt the familiar feeling of being submerged in liquid. But unlike the molten hot lava she was so used to as an Agnaktor, this liquid was chillingly cool and was far less dense than the lava she was used to. Opening her eyes, she now saw a dark blue abyss everywhere she looked (What the?! I'm underwater! So, that mist guy must be able to transport people somehow.) She understood.
She then tried to swim, actually finding herself much faster in water than she was in lava. (Whoa. This is way faster than swimming in lava! Must be because lava is so much thicker. Makes sense, even if it is liquid, it's still rock.) She thought as she continued to swim, before noticing a familiar green-haired figure in the water. (Is that Midoriya?) She wondered, before noticing a shark-like villain coming at him. (Oh, crap! He's about to get munched on!) She realized, her powerful tail pushing her through the water faster than she could've ever hoped to go through lava, spinning as she started to close the distance and ramming into the shark villain. The substitute beak of her hero costume was made so it couldn't tear through someone like her real beak would've, but that was still guaranteed to hurt as she stopped herself, launching the shark-like enemy into the darkness of the watery abyss.
She turned back to Midoriya, but saw a frog-like figure dragging him to the surface and towards a nearby boat. (That must have been Tsuyu. Well, Midoriya's in good hands, then. So I should worry about getting myself out of the water.) She thought, quickly swimming and spiraling herself through the water until she breached the surface, sending herself high enough to land on the boat beside the other two students. "So you two made it out alright. That's good news." She said.
"Tana... Yeah. We're okay, thanks to you." Midoriya said.
"Yeah. We saw you drill into that shark guy. Thanks for that." Tsuyu said, befor ethey all looked out at the water around them and the villains inside it. "This is turning out to be a terrible day of class." She said bluntly.
"Yeah. I keep thinking about what that villain said." Midoriya admitted, remembering back to the mist villain mentioning how All Might should have been there. "They knew our whole schedule and who would be here. They must have gotten into school files while we were all stuck in the cafeteria. The teacher's were trying to get the media off school grounds." He explained as he remembered the panic caused by the media entering school ground. "That means they've been waiting for the perfect time to attack. Just like Todoroki said they were." He finished.
"So, that begs the question, are they going to try and wear him down through sheer numbers... Or do they have someone who can actually take him?" Tana questioned, thinking back to both the strange creature with its brain showing, but also to the human version of Gore Magala. "We should figure that out so we know who needs to be taken out before All Might gets here." She suggested.
"But didn't you hear what that smoke guy said? Maybe we should worry more about not getting tortured to death. Otherwise, we might not survive long enough to see All Might again." She said rather bluntly.
"Oh, how cute. You think that was an option." A voice said from below, before they saw a ring at the surface of the water, indicating something had just gone beneath the surface, before something immediately shot out of the water and landed about ten feet from the group. And Tana's eyes widened as she saw what the figure was.
It was a man wearing what appeared to be a black wetsuit with dark blue pads on the shins, continuing as plates on the thighs, with similar plates on the upper arms. The forearms of the wetsuit had blue lightning bolts on the sides as well. He also wore a dark blue trench coat with orange lapels and color that looked almost like the back fins of a fish. Although the back of the trench coat was heavily torn up and full of holes due to certain factors of the man's appearance.
He seemed to be reptilian, due to the scales covering his form, the front of his body up to his lower jaw was a beige color while the back half of his body and top of his head was a deep blue color. His hands and feet appeared to have orange webbing between the fingers and toes, which ended in razor-sharp black claws. And he had a crocodile-like tail that also had some fish-like webbing or fins. As well as orange spikes. Which could also be located on the sides of a plate-like protrusion on his back and shoulder area, as well as on the sides of a cobra-like hood running from his neck to the sides of the top of his head. And he had four more of these spikes in the form of horns on his head, two smaller ones at the top of his forehead, just below his hairline and two larger horns at the top of his head. And on top of that head to help the horns stand out was long flowing ocean blue hair, which crackled with electricity, which illuminated his bright orange eyes.
"The others aren't coming up with him. This guy must be pretty confident. There's probably a good reason for that." Tsuyu said in concern.
"There's electricity sparking from him. But he's also got fins and a tail that means he's good in water. That's a dangerous combo." Midoriya said, but also had other thoughts. (But he's also got scales and parts of creatures I've never seen before. Daruka and the others were really on edge about the guy with the wing-arms from the main group. I'm guessing he must've been another monster from their world. Could this guy be one, too?) He mentally noted, before looking to the monster among their ranks. "Tana?" He asked.
"A Lagiacrus." The former Agnaktor said in shock.
Elsewhere, ice quickly spread over the ground of the Landslide Zone as a number of villains were frozen up to their necks by Todoroki's ice. "Aren't you embarrassed to lose to a child? For God's sake, you're adults! Put up a real fight!" The dual-colored boy snapped at them as steam rose off his left side.
But then, he lurched forward as he felt someone practically pounce on him, with their arm wrapped around his shoulders. "Just be glad I'm not the one you're dealing with! Because I kicked HIS ass before! So if you can't handle him, you DEFINITELY can't handle me!" Ivy added confidently, spitting at the ground near one villain's foot, eating through both the ice and a bit of the ground, causing those that saw it to shudder in fear.
"I didn't realize you were even here. I could've frozen you." Todoroki said.
"Oh, don't worry. It takes more than a little ice to stop me. That would be a job for Fire. But, since you don't like to use that, I don't think I have anything to worry about." Ivy assured him, the two of them unaware of another villain watching them from behind a dead tree, smirking a small wisps of blue flame came from her mouth.
In yet another zone, the Collapse Zone, Bakugo let out a shout of rage as he blasted another villain in the face, causing him to fall. The explosive boy then stood back to back with Kirishima as they scanned their surroundings to see how many enemies they stood against.
In another zone still, this time the Mountain Zone, Yaoyorozu drew a quarterstaff from her wrist, while Jiro pulled a Ninjato from the taller girl's thigh, while Aster stood with them, viciously grinning at the villains as electricity crackled around his body.
Then finally, in the Squall Zone, Tokoyami and Olympia stood back to back as they faced off against their own villains that had them surrounded, a few of them ready with knives. They also had to dodge several razor-sharp objects fired at them in the darkness of the zone. And while they couldn't see the assailant, Olympia's eyes widened as she recognized the almost golden knife-like scales lodged in the ground Tokoyami narrowly evaded.
Back at the entrance, Uraraka and Mina looked back nervously at Iida and Thirteen as they, along with the other remaining students from their class, stood against the Mist Villain who had stolen away their classmates.
And down the stairs before them, Aizawa was still hard at work fending off the other villains trying to reach the rest of the students. Even with the help of Daruka, Zafira and Maxima aiding him, the villains were still proving a significant challenge, especially since they were playing very evasively, playing hit and run tactics and using ranged attacks to prevent themselves from being infected with the frenzy.
And Aizawa was feeling himself wearing down as he slammed down another one as the hand-covered villain, along with the humanized Gore Magala and the bird-brained behemoth beside him, watched on. However, the hand-covered villain seemed to notice something and stepped forward.
Back at the entrance, the students by the entrance were trying to figure out what was happening. "The others! They're gone! Can anyone figure out what's happening or where they are?!" Iida questioned.
"I sensed their vibrations through the sounds they've made throughout the facility. They're all still here. They're just all over the place." Scylla informed the class rep. "The real problem is what to do about Misty over there." She told him as they looked back to Kurogiri.
"Class rep. I have a job for you." Thirteen suddenly called out Iida, finally having a plan in mind. "Run to the school and tell the faculty what's going on here. The alarms aren't sounding and our phones and radios are useless right now. One of these villains must be to blame. Even though Eraser Head is cancelling people's Quirks left and right, we're still completely sealed off from the outside world. Likely whoever is causing this interference hid as soon as they warped into the USJ. They could be anywhere, impossible to hunt down. It'll be faster for you to run and get help than for us to find whoever's jamming everything." She explained as Kurogiri took enough of a form for his piercing yellow eyes to be visible.
Iida was shocked by this order, however. "Yes, but it would be disgraceful for me to leave you all behind-" He tried to argue, before he was interrupted.
"What would be disgraceful is to stay here when you can do more, so all of us die, instead of trying to get out and get help so there's a chance AT LEAST some of, if not MOST OF us survive." Bredon told him.
"With Zafira down there helping Aizawa and Aster who knows where, you're the ONLY one of us who can do this." Scylla told him.
"Use your Quirk to save others. Be a real hero." Thirteen told him as well, while Shoji also stepped forward.
Iida was shocked at hearing all their support and encouragement, before hearing it again from a more familiar voice. "I can help you out!" Uraraka said, Iida turning to see her and Mina looking at him excitedly. "Just like I did when I floated you in the cafeteria! Okay? No prob!" She reminded him. "Please, Class Rep. Do it." She encouraged him.
Iida looked at all his fellow students and how they were relying on him, before steeling his determination and deploying his leg engines. "Even if this is your only option, are you really foolish enough to strategize in front of your enemy?" Kurogiri demanded, launching himself forward once again.
"It won't matter if you know what we're planning or not when I'm done with you!" Thirteen countered, popping open one of her suit's fingers and creating a massive vacuum or air that began to suck in the misty monstrosity. "Black Hole!" She declared.
Back in the flood zone, Midoriya and Tsuyu looked on in fear as Tana stood defensively between them and this new villain. "Wait, what was that weird name you called him? Does that mean you know him?" Tsuyu asked.
If Tana could turn pale, she would at this moment. She nearly slapped herself for her slip of the tongue earlier. "Lagiacrus. He's got similar powers to me, only he produces electricity instead of heat, and he's adapted to aquatic environments instead of volcanic." She explained.
"Adapted? So, it's not just a random power of his Quirk? And does that mean there are more like him?" The frog girl asked.
However, before they could continue the conversation, the gator-like man before them chuckled. "Well, isn't this a funny surprise. I thought any other faces we'd see from our world would be friendly ones. But yet, some of your want to stay and fight with these pipsqueaks instead of joining the winning side." He said.
"Our world?" Tsuyu asked Midoriya quietly, the boy shrugging in a small panic to act like her didn't know.
"I would've thought any other monsters would be trying to keep a low profile. So why are you here? And why are you working with a menace like that?!" Tana demanded.
"Simple. Here, we don't have to worry about hunters trying to skin us or other, bigger monsters trying to make a meal out of us. Here, WE could be the apex predators. We just have to take out the guy on top, then we'll be running the show." The aquatic leviathan explained.
(He must mean All Might. So, between the other monsters, plus the Gore Magala and the brain guy, they could probably pull it off.) Tana thought to herself, before looking over her shoulder. "Midoriya, Tsu, you gotta get out of here. Try to get back to the main area with Aizawa and the others." She told them.
"Well, yeah, but there's no way this guy's gonna let us do that." Tsuyu said.
"I know. That's why I'm gonna stay here and take him down while you guys make a break for it." The volcanic leviathan explained, leaving the two green-haired teens shocked.
"Heh. This world has made you soft, you're actually risking your neck for these human brats." The Lagiacrus taunted.
"Yeah, it's called not being an asshole. I'd say to try it, but I somehow doubt you're capable." Tana countered.
"Tana... We're not just gonna leave you here alone." Midoriya said.
"You have to. You've got to get out of here. I'm not sure I can beat him, but I CAN stall him long enough for you two to get out of here." She insisted. And before the two greenettes could argue any further, the former Fire Pike Wyvern lunged forward.
Background Music: "Ride the Lightning" by Metallica
Tana and the humanoid Lagiacrus both slid towards each other on their stomachs, before wrapping their bodies and tails around each other as if they were a pair of snakes trying to constrict each other. But, they also had arms and legs, which they used to slash at each other with their monster claws. But while the Lagiacrus' claws were fearsome in their own right, Tana's claws were made to dig through volcanic rock, so they were significantly tougher and stronger, allowing her to dig into the aquatic monster's hide. The male leviathan let out a shout of pain, before clamping his jaws down on Tana's clavicle while sparking with electricity, biting her neck/shoulder area with at least the strength of a crocodile, while also electrocuting her. She cried out in pain at this, allowing the Lagiacrus to separate from her and smack her back with his tails.
"Tana!" Both her fellow students cried out in concern.
She glared up at her aquatic counterpart, who simply smirked at this, his body crackling with electricity. "I'll give you the curtesy of knowing my name before I kill you, so you know the person who took your life. They call me Ranto." The electric leviathan declared.
The volcanic leviathan growled at this, lifting her upper body up off the ground. "I'll call you deep fried!" She snapped, clacking her teeth together and firing her lava beam from her mouth at the Lord of the Seas, who turned to the side to just BARELY dodge the beam, which still burned him across the chest.
"Aah!" The aquatic leviathan shouted, holding his burnt chest in pain, before quickly firing a ball of electricity from his mouth at Tana, who didn't get up in time to avoid it, causing her to fall back to the floor, convulsing from the electricity. "Now you're finished. And I've proved my kind dominates yours." He said, rushing forward to finish her.
However, before her could do that, he was suddenly hit in the face by a powerful pink appendage. Tsuyu reeled her tongue back in, allowing Midoriya to rush forward and deliver a strong punch that knocked the Lord of the Seas back into the water.
(pause music)
"Tana, are you okay?" Tsuyu asked as she hurried over to the Fire Pike Wyvern's side along with Midoriya.
"I'll live. But you two were supposed to get out of here. And you DEFINITELY weren't supposed to try and take on that guy. Now you're as much of a target as I am." She told them.
"You're fighting for us. There's no way we could just leave you here while you were in trouble." Midoriya told her.
"Yeah. Besides, I'm pretty sure we were still targets anyway. So, what are we dealing with?" Tsuyu asked.
"Like I said, he's adapted for water life. So he's as good, if not better than us two in the water. Probably better. And those spike on his back let him use charge up and unleash electricity. It's not as strong outside the water, but still more than enough to hurt." She explained.
"I'd say we should keep our distance, but we saw he can shoot balls of electricity kind of like Aster. So no matter what range we stay at, we're still in danger. We're just gonna have to be careful." Midoriya said.
"You're dead, kids!" Some of the villains said, preparing to climb up onto the boat.
"No. They're MINE!" Ranto declared, diving back below the water, before breaching out and flying up towards the ship once more.
(resume music)
As Ranto flew back up towards the boat, he swung his head at Midoriya, who was furthest to the left, attempting to take a bite out of the boy. He jumped back to avoid this, while Tsuyu tried to rush in and throw a kick with her powerful legs. "Tsu, wait!" Tana cried out to her, trying to reach out and stop her, knowing full well what position Ranto had put himself in. But it was too late he turned and swung his tail, knocking the frog girl back into the volcanic leviathan, knocking them back.
However, the frog girl was able to recover quickly from this and shoot out her tongue, wrapping it around the aquatic leviathan's neck and reeling herself in, delivering a kick to the face and pushing herself off before he had the chance to electrocute the amphibian female, stunning him long enough for Tana to rush in with her arms crossed, uncrossing them and slashing across his stomach, before turning and hitting him with her own tail slap, knocking him back towards Midoriya, who threw a powerful punch to his face. He tried to follow it up with a second attack, but before he could, Ranto looked up with fury in his eyes. "Enough!" He shouted, unleashing a powerful burst of electricity from his body, sending Midoriya flying back.
"Midoriya!" Tsuyu cried out, before she realized the electricity burst even further outward.
"No time to worry about him, run!" Tana said, sliding across the boat deck in order to retreat from the advancing electricity, Tsuyu quickly leaping after her and narrowly avoiding the final electrical explosion.
"And that's just the start, kiddies!" Ranto declared, unleashing another surge, creating three spheres of electricity that began to circle him.
"Whoa!" Both the greenettes exclaimed in shock, unaware electricity could be channeled in such a way. "We can't even get in close like this." Midoriya said in a mix of concern and frustration.
"Really? That's too bad, because you seem like people who I can get real close to." Ranto taunted, before looking at Tsuyu. "But right now, I'm a little hungry. I'm thinking frog legs sound good." He said, rushing towards Tsuyu.
"I don't think so!" Tana snapped, rushing forward once again, firing a beam from her mouth to take out one of the spheres, before grappling with the aquatic leviathan once again. This caused her to be hit with the remaining two spheres, but she managed to endure through the shock and glare at the Lord of the Seas. "You know, I remember you taking a bite out of me earlier. Let me return the favor!" She declared, chomping down on his own clavicle, the chin part of the headpiece of her costume digging into his just below his collarbone as she did so.
This then allowed Tsuyu to rush in and deliver a powerful backflip kick that launched the Lagiacrus into the air, at which point she wrapped her tongue around him and slammed him back into the floor of the boat. Midoriya then rushed in, passing by the aquatic leviathan and turning to face him, delivering another powerful punch to the face, sending the crocodile-like villain back a solid distance.
End Music
Ranto grunted as he was pushed back, looking up and glaring at the trio. "Alright. So you kids aren't bad. But I still got an ace up my sleeve." He said, pulling a vial of black vapor from his pocket.
Tana was shocked as she saw it. "No." She said in horror as she realized it had to be an actual vial of the Frenzy Virus, fearing what might happen if he used that. Midoriya and Tsuyu, however, didn't have this knowledge and the concerns that came with it, rushing forward. "No, guys, wait!" Tana cried out.
Ranto broke the vial in half, causing the vapors to rise up into his face as he breathed in, the vapors going up his nose, his skin taking on a purple hue as the black vapors began to rise from him and his eyes turning red. But in addition, he began to grow in size with his face starting to bulge out, stopping the green-haired teens in their tracks. The monster villain's body continued to grow and morph, more orange spikes appearing on his back and his body and neck expanding as his clothes seemed to somehow disappear into his body. Soon enough, he was on all fours as his body now reached a full one hundred and eight feet long as he assumed his true form. No longer a human with parts of a monster, but the fully realized Lord of the Sea, Lagiacrus.
"What the heck happened to him?!" Tsuyu asked in fear as she and Midoriya backed up while Tana ran up to them.
"I-is that what he looked like back where you came from?!" He asked.
"Yeah. We've gotta get out of here. If we just squeaked by before, we don't have a chance now. Especially because he's about to go berserk!" Tana said.
However, seeing their ally suddenly become a giant monster made the villains below think they had victory in the bag. "You're not going anywhere! Why don't we see how good our boy is in the water! See how well you handle him then!" One villain with an almost skull-like head said as he created a massive clawed hand from the water and sliced the boat in half, causing it to start sinking into the water, bringing the students closer to the water.
But unfortunately, what he wasn't aware of was that by inhaling the Frenzy Virus, the monster was now absolutely berserk, no longer aware of friend or foe, only seeing targets. And he had just drawn attention to himself and the other villains in the water, making them the immediate target, many of the villains losing confidence as he turned to them and braced himself to leap into the water. "H-hey, what are you doing! Focus on the kids!" Another villain shouted, before screaming as the Lagiacrus leapt into the air and came soaring towards him and the ones near him with his mouth opened wide. "No, wait! No! Noooo!" He screamed as the leviathan crashed down on him and his allies, most assuredly being devoured by the beast below the waves.
"He's lost his mind!" Tsuyu said in fear.
"Which is why we have to get out of here! NOW!" Tana told them.
The two of them were shocked at her outburst, but quickly nodded. "Right." Midoriya said. Even if that thing is distracted with them, some might still try to get us if we just try to run. Or we could get his attention back. But, I think I've got an idea. But I'm gonna need your help when I give the signal, Tsu." Midoriya said.
The frog girl was surprised at this, but started to get an idea of what his plan was. "Right." She agreed.
Midoriya put his foot on the side of the boat and let out a roar as he glared down at the villains. (Come on! Act like Kacchan would!) He told himself in his mind. "Now die!" He shouted, leaping over the edge to face the villains.
"What's he doing!?" Tana asked, not understanding the plan.
Midoriya held his arm and prepared to flick his finger, charged with One For All. (Even if I use the smash, I can't get them all at once when they're in a circle like that! Besides, there are still other enemies outside the shipwreck zone, so I can't afford to wear myself out just yet.) He coached himself as he primed his attack.
Back on the boat, Tsuyu walked up behind Tana and wrapped her arms around her waist. "Ready, Tana?" She asked.
"Wha-!? Hey, what's the big idea?!" The former Fire Pike Wyvern demanded as she squirmed and tried to look back at the girl behind her.
"Take this! Delaware Smash!" Midoriya cried out as he finally unleashed the flick, creating a massive wave of air pressure that sent him back into the air and creating a massive whirlpool that dragged in all the villains. And, while he did groan a bit from the pain, Midoriya lifted his head up to shout to his classmates. "Tsu! Tana, now!" He shouted to them.
And with that, Tsuyu launched herself and Tana into the air with a "Ribbit!" of determination, while ignoring the humanoid Agnaktor's screams of surprise and terror, shooting her tongue out and wrapping it around Midoriya in the process, taking him along with them as they sailed through the air. "What the heck was that?! What did you do!?" Tana exclaimed, not understanding the phenomena before them.
Midoriya watches as all this was going down. "If a strong force is applied to a water's surface, the water will be pushed away... And then come rushing right back to the middle!" He declared.
Tana was amazed at this. (These kids... Even if they have powers, they're only human. Yet they're willing to take on monsters from our world and odds that would make a Bazelgeuse retreat!) She thought to herself in awe, before becoming resolute. "Well then who am I to sit by and do nothing?!" She demanded, firing a beam from her mouth into the water. This served two purposes, one by adding extra force to the flying trio, shooting them through the air further and faster, but also hitting the water, bringing it to a boil within seconds and creating a thick smokescreen of mist and also burning some villains that still had the idea to attack them, causing them to try and escape the water. Even the Lagiacrus screeched out in anger and pain, fighting against the whirlpool in order to try and escape the burning water, but several villains crashing into the beast hampered that effort.
And finally, as the water returned to its original place, it shot into the air from all of it crashing back at once, launching several villains and the frenzied monster into the air. "We rounded them all up! Not too shabby. You guys are amazing. Both of you." She praised the two, speaking clearly despite her tongue hanging out of her mouth. "I guess we passed the shipwreck zone!" Tsuyu declared as they soared through the air back to the main area of the USJ.
