Hey guys. Wish I could say this is a new chapter. I had a chapter planned that involved Jade's birthday and had it almost ready for everyone. Then I got a review that made me consider whether I was making the right moves in the story. Not a bad or hate review, mind you. More of an opinion bit in a review that got me and my writing buddy talking.

For context, someone had brought up that the Avengers were not the best idea to throw into the story because they undermined the premise and work of the protagonists. Then my writing buddy and I talked about some of the things that just didn't work out in the story or for the future. The way we brought in Ellie was too sudden, characters tend to get lost in the mix, and some things I hadn't planned for yet actually broke the world that was being set up. Mainly, the Infinity Stones were not planned for and they ended up breaking something fun I decided to implement in the story. Then there was also the fact that things ended up going too fast in certain points and there were so many things going against the story here.

I wish I could just fix these problems and move on but I can't do that with the story as it is. As such, this story is being shelved and a rewrite is planned. This will be the last rewrite of this story before I just shelve it entirely. This time, things will be different. Not only am I leaving this one up as complete, something I wish I did for the original, but there will be a bigger shakeup of events.

Things will be more streamlined, characters will be better represented, and my experience as a writer will hopefully have improved even more by the time that the new rewrite begins publishing. There may even be a name change for the series, though I can't say for certain. If you have any ideas that can improve this story from where it went wrong or ideas that could be interesting to work with, please let me know down below. Please consider that crossover ideas have to be deeply considered before adding or thinking about it. According to my writing buddy, this was part of the problem. Too many additions and ideas without proper planning wasn't the best idea.

Here's hoping that this rewrite will work out and be the last time I have to rewrite a story in this series. As a final send off, I'll be sending the unedited draft of the next chapter as a close off to this month as well. The only thing to start us off will be the previous unanswered reviews and the disclaimer.
