Soon enough, the group had selected their Pokemon…
"Great… I shall now transfer you to where the other contestants are…" The voice ominously said
Everyone was surrounded by a blue light and then were all of a sudden in a room with more contestants.
Onto the stage walked some dude named Leon…
"Welcome everyone to the final edition of the Legends Tournament! Whether you're from a different dimension or an actual trainer. Everyone Is cheering you on. So, have fun, compete and show us why you made it here!" Leon simply said
Everyone from the earth dimension looked at each other.
"Look, if we're gonna get out of here, we gotta work together. Can't just leave us here… unless we get stuck." Neo sighed
"Name's Skyler, aged 16, I'm competitive" The girl with a streak of green in her black hair said
"Name's Liva, aged 19" the girl with very dark blue hair spoke
"HI! I'm Clover! Aged 18" the girl with medium wavy blonde hair replied
"Name's Unknown, I'd rather not talk" the guy with blonde hair in a ponytail answered
"Eliza's my name, aged 16" The girl with short blonde hair and glasses responded
"And I'm Neo, aged 17" he finally answered
"AND LET THE MATCHUPS BE REVEALED!" Leon shouted into the microphone… SERIOUSLY? AGAIN? WE'RE DOING THIS AGAIN?
A big board was revealed with The matchups Being:
Neo vs Izuku
Clover vs Sakura
Unknown vs Light
Eliza vs Hinata
Liva vs Vegeta
Skyler vs Kakarot
And still plenty more matches. But those are the only notable ones… at least for the story

"So… FOR THE FIRST BATTLE OF THE TOURNAMENT, MAY I HAVE IZUKU MIDORIYA AND NEO BLIZZARD COME TO THE FIELD" Leon shouted
AGAIN REALLY? WE- Too many times last book…
Neo sighed and walked down to the lobby, through a hallway, leading to a locker room, which eventually led to a dark hallway which had a light at the end of the tunnel.
Neo walked through the tunnel, grasping the pokeball which was smooth in his grip. So many years of playing the game… all for this tournament.
He walked out to the light, a giant crowd cheering… filled with all sorts of people
He looked his opponent dead in the eye… a kid by the name of Izuku Midoriya with Green hair and bright eyes. A wide smile across his face
Neo didn't smile back…
"Trainers… Send out your Pokemon!" The referee shouted
WHEN IS ANYONE NOT GONNA SHOUT???
"Lucario! Show them your power!" Izuku shouted
Neo simply threw the pokeball in his hand, revealing a Sylveon.
"And let it be known… the Tournament of Universes… IS NOW OPEN" Leon shouted
I give up
"Begin!" The referee exclaimed
A camera zoomed onto the scene and flew around, getting close ups of the two people and their pokemon.
"If he's not gonna make a move… we will… Use Calm Mind!" Neo shouted
Ok really- NOW EVEN THE MC, I'm honestly done
"Flash Cannon!" Izuku exclaimed
"Jump out of the way and use Moonblast!" Neo responded
"Flash cannon Barrage!" Izuku said
Lucario originally sent one flash cannon blast at Sylveon, but Sylveon jumped out of the way in time, calmed itself to raise its Sp Atk and Sp Def, next thing you know A moon was heading straight for Lucario before getting destroyed by a barrage of flash cannons which kept up.
"Hyper Voice!" Neo shouted in desperation
But the flash cannons kept coming. And inevitably Sylveon was hit by a few sending her flying into the wall, but not down yet
"Alright Sylvia, use Psyshock!" Neo ordered
Sylveon proceeded to summon a few pieces of rocks transported by psychic powers to slam into Lucario, damaging it quite a bit. Thanks to Sylveon's Calm Mind
"Use Steel Beam!" Izuku shouted
"Moonlight" Neo responded
Lucario shot off a massive beam of silver energy towards Sylveon who dodged it. But more importantly Lucario fell to around 1/4th hp. While Sylveon fully healed up with Moonlight
"Now use Psyshock again!" Neo shouted
Lucario couldn't dodge as it was kneeling down and took the hit, taking it out.
"LUCARIO NO!!!" Izuku shouted
It was too late as the smoke cleared and revealed Lucario to be down, swirls in his eyes
"Thanks Lucario… you tried your best, I guess we're gonna have to use you Toxtricity!" Izuku returned his Lucario in place for his Toxtricity
"Use Hyper Voice!" Neo shouted
"Sludge Bomb!" Izuku responded
The Hyper Voice was strong and struck Toxtricity making it barely flinch, but the sludge bomb hit Sylveon heavily down to low health
"Use Moonblast!" Neo shouted as a last resort
"Overdrive" Izuku growled with a low voice
With one last shout, Toxtricity made the ground rumble as it let out a giant shockwave of electric energy, which hit Sylveon. But before going down, Sylveon let out a giant Moonblast which hit Toxtricity for minimal damage, then she fell
"Thanks Sylvia, you're a real fighter.." Neo sighed as he returned the Sylveon "Show them your strength Riptide!"
With a quick flash, an Aegislash appeared on the field. In the shield forme. The eye glared across the field.
Quick warning, I said fuck it with the moves, whatever makes sense to me. This isn't authentic
"Show em an Earth Power!" Izuku shouted
Neo smirked, "fell right for my trap" he pulled an orb off his belt that was glowing.
"UNBELIEVABLE! Our first experience of seeing someone use the Terastalization tactic!" The announcer calmly said
THAT WASNT IN THE SCRIPT. HOW TF DID HE SAY IT CALMLY?
For those who are living under a rock: Terastalizing is basically just changing your Pokémon's type to a different one or it sheds one type to transform into the other one. This grants it an advantage on certain moves or boosts its STAB by another 1.5x
And for those who don't know: STAB is a boost to moves of the same type as the Pokemon, 1.5x boost precisely. For example a flying type move on a Flying type will grant the user 1.5x boost on that move every time it is used
Neo threw the glowing orb above Aegislash and it stopped there. Surrounding it in crystals to turn it into the flying type, shedding its other two types in favor of another one.
Which inevitably helped Aegislash avoid Earth Power thanks to flying's immunity to ground types
"Now use Shadow Ball!" Neo shouted
Aegislash charged up a purple sphere and sent it flying towards Toxtricity. Phasing in and out, the opponent didn't see it coming and got hit heavily.
Now let me explain a bit more… Terastalizing also keeps the STAB bonus on the Pokémon's original typing. Like Aegisalsh is a Ghost and Steel type, meaning it keeps those STABs but leaves the typings. Complex I know
"Respond with Overdrive!" Izuku responded
"King's Shield!" Neo responded
Aegislash took its shield and placed its sword self back into the handle of the shield. Causing a blue barrier to appear once Overdrive hit the shield.
"Flash Cannon!" Neo shouted
Aegislash charged up a ball of steel energy this time and sent it flying at Toxtricity. Who was hit heavily again, this time being sent against the wall
"We're not out, right Toxtricity?" Izuku asked as the Pokemon got up, and roared in response
Izuku took out the Pokémon's pokeball and returned it?
What is he doing?
But the bracelet on his wrist glowed and energy flowed from it to the pokeball, making it huge.
"Incredible! Now we get to see the tactic known as Gigantamaxing/Dynamaxing." The announcer actually said calmly
THIS ISNT IN THE S- I'm done
Izuku threw the giant pokeball behind him, which opened up, revealing a giant Toxtricity, but more reptile-esque.
Now let me explain, Gigantamax is a form which makes the pokemon bigger and less agile, but its moves are more powered up. For example, Charizard has a fire type attack, it turns into G-Max Wildfire, however for a dynamax Charizard, it becomes Max Flare (I won't be using Dynamax at all during this story)
"G-MAX STUN SHOT!" Izuku shouted over the roar of Toxtricity
"FLASH CANNON!" Neo responded
The attacks collided, however one was clearly much stronger.
The G-Max move ripped through the flash cannon like a hot knife through butter and hit Aegislash
Who unfortunately fainted due to the sheer power of it…
Did I forget to mention that since Aegislash was flying type, it was super effective?
"You tried your best bud… but I think it's time you rest…" Neo sighed as he pulled out a pokeball and returned Aegislash "Castellum, it's your turn!" He sent out his famed Metagross
"MAX QUAKE!" Izuku shouted
"Not this time…" Neo muttered as he pressed the necklace he was wearing. A small bead was in the middle of it and it was rainbow
This is a Keystone. An item used to utilize Mega evolution, but you may be saying, it can't be that easy, right?
Of course it also involves the Mega Stones for certain pokemon which CAN mega evolve.
"UNBELIEVABLE! Our first display of Mega Evolution comes into play!" The announcer shouted
Mega Evolution is a tactic that allows a Pokemon to channel its bond with its Pokemon, reaching new heights in power. This is only accessible with certain Pokemon.
Metagross broke out of the pink sphere that it was contained in to change forms for its Mega Form.
Needless to say, it was over the moment it broke out
Metagross floated high off the ground, its four arms now pointing in the direction it faces. And the X on its face now covering it.
It glared at the opposing Toxtricity.
"Earthquake" Neo simply snapped and Metagross charged into the ground and caused a massive earthquake across the field. Easily hitting Toxtricity for massive damage and taking it out.
Explosions happened around Toxtricity as it returned to normal size and was returned to its pokeball
From then on, Metagross dominated the battlefield.
Ursaring? A simple Hammer Arm dealt with that.
Rapidash? Cmon now, Earthquake is too strong
Polteageist? Well… I mean Meteor Mash makes contact and it's strong so…
Yes ladies and gentlemen, this is where I introduce abilities
The Pokemon Metagross originally has the ability clear body, disallowing any negative stat changes. But now the beast has an ability called Tough Claws which means that any move that makes contact is boosted by 1.5x.
Izuku's final Pokemon was a Sceptile.
Ha, fitting for a green headed child.
"Sceptile, show them why we're the heroes of today! Mega Evolve!" Izuku shouted
Sceptile broke out of the pink sphere having now changed with sharper blades, a more defined face, and a bigger tail.
Now Sceptile had the ability lightning rod, any electric type attack that hit it would be absorbed
"Use Meteor Mash" Neo growled
"Use Earthquake!" Izuku shouted excitedly
The attacks collided, but it was clear who won from the start.
The dust cleared and one Pokémon was still floating. The aura of it being killing. Terrifying everyone in the stadium as it glared at the fallen opponent
"SCEPTILE IS UNABLE TO BATTLE! METAGROSS WINS! MEANING NEO MOVES ON!" The referee shouted
And here I thought we got a break but NOPE
Neo returned Metagross peacefully after it returned to its normal form "Thank you bud… that was amazing"
He walked back to the locker room without another glance across the field and sighed. "I'll be home soon… I hope"
