They got back to the school and did some stretches so they didn't overdo things later. After that, everyone split off to change or wash up. Kitsuna ran her head under an outside faucet for several minutes, dying from the heat. She flipped her hair over her head when she stood up, and nearly whipped Yachi with it.

"Hya!," the blonde girl shrieked and dropped the end of the table she was carrying.

"Huh, oh sorry," Kitsuna apologized to the girls. Yachi was staring again, like she did at Kiyoko or Tanaka's sister.

"I have time, d'you guys need any help setting up?," Kitsuna pointed at the table that Yachi had dropped. Some of the other managers were carrying paper plates and stuff somewhere as well.

"Oh, guess our cover's blown?," the redhead manager sighed.

"No. Um. Not completely. Some of our guys heard the coaches though," Kitsuna offered that as reassurance, and the girls seemed relieved. She helped carry some stuff over, and started the grills when it got closer to time. She provided her own lighter, and thankfully no one asked about it. She saw some veggies being brought out and snuck a few in, but got caught and sent back to the others. She headed for her hiding spot, but tripped on the shoes by the back gym door. She got up, her exhaustion and hunger hitting her all at once, and headed for the hill. She flopped on the grass, letting the breeze blow over her under the summer sun. It was comfortable, and the cicadas' wailing was somehow refreshing in a way. She thought that maybe going without headphones was nice, and drifted off.

"Hey, what're you doing out here?," Hinata spotted a pair sleeping on the grass when he went to get his shoes. The other boys heard him, and headed over to check it out.

"Kitsuna, don't sleep outside even if it's hot! Suga, don't just join in!," Daichi yelled while pulling his shoes on.

The team gathered round the two sleepyheads, finding something amusing in how they were sprawled out. Or rather, how Kitsuna was sprawled out. One hand was under her shirt, and had pushed it slightly up along with the green tank top underneath. The other arm had at some point flung out, landing just millimeters short of hitting Suga. Suga was laying with his arms under his head as a pillow, but rolled over to his side when Daichi called out to them.

"Tanaka," Noya whispered to his partner in crimes against girlhood.

"I see it, Noya," said partner responded in the same hushed tone.

The secret thing they had spotted, of course, was a pair of moles on Kitsuna's now-exposed stomach. One just above the hip, the other slightly higher and toward the middle. Thanks to a certain manager, they had gained a strong appreciation of well-placed moles and beauty marks. Hinata's face went red, overhearing them and spotting the same thing. Something else caught their attention about that stomach, too. It was a few shades paler than what they saw of the girl day to day. Meaning: tan lines. It was as if a whole new world opened up to them just then, before Ennoshita smacked the both of them and dragged them away.

"Hey, time for lunch!"

Yachi called out from the gym doorway, and several boys took their leave. Daichi smiled at his sleeping friends, despite yelling at them earlier. He didn't have any time to appreciate the moment more, since Kitsuna snapped awake at the mention of food and lurched up. She looked around, gaining her bearings. She spotted Suga beside her, and seemed unaware of Daichi's presence. She poked at his face, and he squirmed a little but remained firmly asleep. At first her face twisted into a pout, then a grin as something occurred to her. Daichi thought about intervening, but she was already moving.

She leaned over the boy on the ground, holding her hair in an attempt to keep it from alerting him or waking him up. She was mostly successful, but it was a curly mop after the way she rinsed it out earlier and some brushed his face anyway. Daichi looked away, suddenly feeling like he shouldn't be there. Her lips were centimeters from his ear when she made her final attack.

"Suga, wakey-wakey. I'm gonna steal all your barbequed meat," she said in a somewhat sultry and taunting tone. Suga snapped awake at that, and rolled up off his side. He moved too fast though, and collided head-on with Kitsuna who toppled over into his lap. After clutching his head and cursing, he noticed Kitsuna and his face went hot.

"K-Kitsuna? Eh? What?!," he was nearly shouting. Kitsuna realized her situation, too, and bolted upright. Her ears were red, but her face was just red enough to be considered a sunburn if she pushed that angle. Daichi burst out laughing, and they went even deeper into crimson shades.

"Come on. Idiots. Time to eat," he spoke in bursts, between fits of laughter. They both scrambled to their feet and followed him toward the smell of grilling food.

"Hey, stop laughing already!," Kitsuna whined. Daichi had been in hysterics the whole way over, while Suga stared at his own feet. The switch in dynamic was jarring, to say the least.

"Suga, quit being all quiet and weird!," Kitsuna turned on him next, even though she was equally as flustered. That made Daichi start up all over again, seeing a rarer side of the two. Now he was glad he was there to witness that little moment.

"That's what you two get for staying up all night," Daichi tried one of his usual reproaches but was still chuckling too much for it to have the same effect. Sugawara pulled himself out of his head with that, and snatched up a plate to load up before Kitsuna could steal any. Daichi ruffled her hair, and she snapped at him while not attempting to resist at all.

"Don't worry, I won't tell anyone your little secret," he laughed again and made his way over for food.

"Nothing to keep to yourself, jackass," Kitsuna grumbled, picking up a plate for herself.
