When Lily woke up she was in a forest
Lincoln on the other hand was out cold his mechanical eyes completely dark
she tried to shake her brother awake but it did nothing
then she heard some footsteps
"come on cheese let's find some berries for mother." A young female voice said "I can't wait to help her make jam."
Lily tried to get her attention which she struggled with due to being a 2 year old in a four year old body
luckily the owner of the voice did her her and came over
she was a rabbit in a orange dress with a little blue creature floating next to her
"are you ok?" The rabbit girl asked
Lily shook her head and tried to pick up Lincoln to no success
"her let me help." The rabbit said as she helped Lily pull Lincoln slowly but surely "let's take them to town I'm sure someone there can help us."
they began to take Lincoln there
"im cream by the way." The rabbit now known as cream said "and this is cheese."
cheese have a wave before trying to help pull
"Lily." Lily said pointing at herself
she pointed at Lincoln "linky." She said
"nice to meet you." Cream said
soon they reached just outside cream's house
"hey mom could you help me?" Cream asked
an a rabbit woman stepped out of the house
"yes cream?" She asked before noticing the robot lily and cream were dragging with them "oh my goodness!"
"could you help us bring him in?" Cream asked
vanilla didn't hesitate picking him up and taking him inside
(her training while she was in G.U.N had her lifting much heavier things)
she sat Lincoln on a chair in the living room
"is he gonna be ok?" Cream asked
"I'm not too sure sweetie." Vanilla said
Lily looked worried
suddenly Lincoln's eyes went blue with a progress bar on them
meanwhile
"cubot are you updating right when I'm working on my latest robot!?" Dr. Eggman asked the update slowing his progress on the robot due to connection issues
"no boss!" Cubot said
"orbot!" Dr. Eggman said
"oh dear." Orbot said
meanwhile with Lincoln
when the progress bar finshed is eyes went back to how they were: red and black
"ack my neck." Lincoln said
"shouldn't you not have nerves?" Vanilla asked
"it's calling trying to feel human again." Lincoln said "also who are you?"
"linky!" Lily said giving her brother a hug
"woah hey there Lily." Lincoln said "glad you're ok."
"I'm cream!" Cream said "I found Lily and you in the forest!"
"and I'm vanilla cream's mother." Vanilla said
"well I'm Lincoln." Lincoln said
"I thought your name is linky?" Cream asked
Lincoln let out a small chuckle
"it's just a nickname." Lincoln said
suddenly they heard some screams outside
"raiders." Vanilla said
"does this happen often?" Lincoln asked
"yes but the village hero stops them." Vanilla said
"but he doesn't put them in jail!" Cream said
"well that simply just won't do." Lincoln said "if you'll excuse me I'll be right back."
he walked out of the house and saw some raiders robbing someone's shop
"hey!" Lincoln said gaining their attention "back off before I make you."
"make us." One of the raiders said
"your funeral." Lincoln said as he materialized a sword with a purple blade
Lincoln immediately began to overpower the raiders despite them having strength in numbers
he was styling on them and even cut off one's hand
within a few minutes he had them all tied up
then the village "hero" showed up
he was a hyena with a blue cloak and a scar over his eye
"good job for a rookie." He said "but I'll take them from here."
"no they're going to prison." Lincoln said
"you don't have jurisdiction here." The "hero" said
Lincoln then noticed something around his neck
it was a necklace
he grabbed it and then went over to one of the raiders and noticed it was the same necklace
"well well well." Lincoln said holding up both for everyone to see "it looks like we have a fraud."
immediately upon realizing his cover had been blown the fake hero pulled out a sword
"I'm not in the mood for this." Lincoln said turning his hand into a Gatling gun "now dance!"
Lincoln shot at his feet before grabbing him by the throat and snapping his neck not enough to kill him just enough to leave him paralyzed for life
Lincoln threw him with the others
"and that's that." Lincoln said dusting off his hands
the villagers weren't sure how to feel about what just happened
sure a robot just singled handily took care of the continued raiding problem and exposed the corruption of the fake hero
but he did it in a brutal fashion taking away one's hand and the fake hero's ability to walk without a care in the world treating it like it was a nuisance
(author's note: as you can probably tell by now this isn't the village sonic boom takes place in however that one does still exists and we'll get to that eventually)
vanilla wasn't sure how to feel
it had reminded her of her G.U.N days before she had cream the swiftness of it all, the preciseness, and the brutality
was this "Lincoln" made by G.U.N?
despite her thoughts she knew deep down he wasn't at least not originally
despite his deep intimidating voice and killing machine appearance he acted sort of like an older brother to Lily she could see that by with just one interaction between the two
so she decided she was going to help him
then someone began to cheer and soon everyone else joined in
Lincoln could get used to this
then one raider managed to get free and run off
someone was about to chase after him but Lincoln stopped them
"don't bother. Let him run back to his leader." Lincoln said "tell them that their fake hero plan is done."
they proceeded to throw the rest in jail
"now then Lincoln, Lily, let me show you around." Vanilla said
"thanks." Lincoln said
Lincoln felt like he was gonna like it here
