The courtyard was abuzz with anticipation. Haru stood in the center, preparing to demonstrate his Phoenix Slayer magic to his guildmates.

"Alright, Haru, show us what you've got," Natsu said, leaning forward with interest.

Haru nodded, taking a deep breath. "Alright, here goes. Phoenix Slayer magic is a bit different from what you guys might be used to." He closed his eyes, blurred memories of his training with the phoenixes flooding back.

Haru opened his eyes, the memory fading but the power still surging through him.

With a deep breath, he raised his arms. "Tempest Fury, Storm Phoenix!" A tornado infused with crackling lightning formed around him, the sheer force of the combined elements creating a deafening roar.

The guild members watched in awe, the display leaving them speechless. As the tornado dissipated, Haru lowered his arms, panting slightly.

"That... was awesome!" Natsu exclaimed, flames flickering around him in excitement. "I can't wait to see more of what you can do!"

Gray nodded in agreement. "Yeah, that was impressive."

Haru smiled "Thanks, attack isn't very powerful yet, still working on getting that tornado bigger, even though I'm still happy with my progress for now. I've still got a long run into getting more power in it."

"But tell me, what are does two marks on your arms ?" asked Lucy

I checked both my arms. "on the left, Aelion. On the right, Kirin. Since they disappeared, I have those marks on my arms. They only glow when I use their magic… I still don't know why." I said, a sad smile appearing

They all listened, a heartwarming gaze fixed on you.

A few days later, the sun was setting, casting a warm orange glow over Magnolia. I was sitting on the roof in my favorite spot, watching the vibrant colors spread across the sky, lost in thought. The tranquility of the moment was soothing, a perfect end to another day in Fairy Tail.

My thoughts drifted to my training and the conversations I had with the guild members. I felt a mixture of gratitude and determination, but doubts also lingered. Was I really strong enough to be here?

Suddenly, I heard the sound of someone climbing up to join me. Turning slightly, I saw Gray's head peek over the edge, two beers in his hands. "Watcha doing alone up here, my guy?" he asked, a casual smile on his face.

"Just thinking about stuff," I replied, my gaze still focused on the mesmerizing sunset.

Gray climbed up and sat down beside me, handing me one of the beers. "About that magic of yours, huh? Bet you didn't know a thing about it before Gramps told you about it," he said, taking a sip from his bottle.

I took the beer, feeling the cool glass against my hand. "Yeah, something like that," I admitted. "I mean, I knew it was quite powerful being able to wield 2 different elements, but I didn't realize just how rare it is."

Gray nodded, his expression thoughtful. "It's pretty incredible, Haru. Lost magic like that... it's a part of history. You're a part of history."

I chuckled softly. "Never thought about it that way. I always just saw it as a tool to survive."

Gray looked at me, his gaze serious. "But it's more than that. It's a gift. And with it, you can do amazing things. Just remember, we're here to help you figure it all out."

I smiled, appreciating his words. "Thanks, Gray. That means a lot."

We sat in comfortable silence for a while, watching the sun dip below the horizon. The night air was cool, and the first stars began to twinkle in the sky.

"Y'know," Gray said, breaking the silence, "I've always found peace in moments like this. Just sitting, watching the sunset, thinking about life. It's good to have these times."

I nodded in agreement. "Yeah, it is. Helps clear the mind."

Gray raised his bottle. "To many more sunsets and figuring things out together."

I clinked my bottle against his. "To many more."

A whole week had passed since my sparring session with Gray and Natsu. Determined to improve, I kept training with anyone who was willing to take an hour or two for me. Each session pushed me to my limits, but I could feel myself growing stronger and more confident.

I had started training with Wendy to focus on my wind magic. Her expertise and gentle encouragement helped me refine my control and increase my speed. Together, we practiced various spells, honing my ability to manipulate the air around me.

One afternoon, as we wrapped up a particularly challenging session, Wendy smiled at me. "You're getting a lot better, Haru. Your wind magic is really impressive."

"Thanks, Wendy," I replied, grateful for her guidance, a big grin on my face.

Despite my progress, there was one area I still hadn't tackled—my thunder magic. I knew Laxus was the best person to train with, but I didn't have the guts to ask him. His intimidating presence and immense power made me hesitant, even though I knew he would be a valuable mentor.

One evening, as I sat on the roof, my thoughts drifted to Laxus. I knew I needed to overcome my fear and ask for his help. My thunder magic was a crucial part of my abilities, and I couldn't afford to neglect it.

Taking a deep breath, I made up my mind. Tomorrow, I would approach Laxus and ask him to train me. It was time to face my fears and take the next step in my journey.

The next morning, I woke up—groggy, as always—and headed for the guild bar. The sun was just starting to rise, casting a soft glow over Magnolia. As I walked into the guild hall, I greeted Mira with a shy wave, still half asleep, before slumping down on my now customary spot at the counter.

"Look at ya," Mira teased, leaning on the counter with a playful smile. "Only been here for two weeks and already has an assigned spot?"

I chuckled softly, rubbing my eyes. "What can I say? I like my routines," I replied, trying to shake off the morning haze.

Mira laughed, the sound light and cheerful. "Well, it's good to see you settling in. Coffee?"

"Please," I said, my voice still thick with sleep.

As Mira prepared my coffee, I glanced around the guild hall. It was still early, and the usual hustle and bustle had yet to begin. The quiet moments like these were becoming my favorite, a time to gather my thoughts before the day's training.

Mira placed a steaming cup of coffee in front of me, the rich aroma instantly lifting my spirits. "Here you go, Haru. This should help wake you up."

I took a sip, savoring the warmth and flavor. "God I'll always love this coffee, thanks Mira."

She smiled warmly. "Anytime. So, what's on your agenda today?"

I hesitated for a moment, then took a deep breath. "Actually, I was thinking of asking Laxus to train me," I admitted, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves.

Mira's eyes widened slightly in surprise, then she nodded approvingly. "That's a great idea, Haru. Laxus is tough, but you'll learn a lot from him. Just be honest and straightforward with him."

"Yeah, that's the plan," I said, trying to sound confident. "Thanks for the advice." I smiled.

"Good luck," she said, giving me a reassuring smile. "You've got this."

I finished my coffee, feeling more awake. It was time to take the next step in my training. With Mira's encouragement boosting me up, I decided to patiently wait for Laxus to come in.

I breathed slowly, trying to calm my nerves. After a few moments, I got up from my seat with newfound confidence. Mira, noticing my resolve, gave me a thumbs up, her supportive smile bolstering my spirits even more.

Minutes felt like hours as I paced around the guild hall, anticipation building. Finally, the heavy wooden doors swung open, and Laxus entered, his presence commanding immediate attention. His eyes scanned the room, taking in the familiar sights of the guild hall.

Gathering all the courage I had, I approached him. "Laxus, can I talk to you for a moment?" I asked, my voice steady despite the fluttering in my chest.

He raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. "Sure, what's up?" he replied, his tone neutral but curious.

Taking a deep breath, I met his gaze. "I was wondering if you could help me train my thunder magic. I know you're the best person for it, and I could really use your guidance."

For a moment, Laxus simply looked at me, his expression unreadable. Then, a small smirk appeared on his face. "Sure thing rookie. Haru right? Alright, I'll help you out. But don't expect me to go easy on you."

A wave of relief washed over me. "Thank you, Laxus. I won't let you down."

He nodded. "Good. Meet me at the training grounds in an hour. Be ready."

"Got it," I replied, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves.

As Laxus walked away, I turned to see Mira watching the interaction, a proud smile on her face. I gave her a nod, feeling more determined than ever.

The next step in my training was about to begin, and I was ready to face whatever challenges came my way.

Later that day, my initial excitement began to wane as I found myself alone with Laxus on the training ground. His presence was imposing, a constant reminder that I wasn't facing a random mage but one of the most powerful in Fairy Tail. The air seemed to crackle with his latent energy, and I could feel the weight of his magical power pressing down on me.

Sweat started forming on my forehead as I tried to steady my nerves, taking in the impressive aura that Laxus exuded. He stood there, arms crossed, watching me with an intensity that made my heart race.

"Alright, Haru," Laxus began, his voice firm and commanding. "Show me what you've got. I want to see your thunder magic in action."

Taking a deep breath, I nodded and stepped forward. I raised my hand, summoning the familiar crackle of electricity. "Roaring Thunder, Kirin!" I shouted, sending a bolt of lightning toward a nearby target.

Laxus raised an eyebrow. "Is that... all?" he asked, his tone carrying a hint of disappointment, making me straighten up immediately.

"I-I'm sorry, my offensive use of thunder is limited... Got the same problem with wind," I replied, feeling a twinge of frustration.

"Offensive? You can use your magic differently?" He raised an eyebrow, his curiosity piqued.

"Yeah," I said, my eyes determined. "I boost myself up with both elements to increase my speed."

Laxus nodded, a thoughtful look on his face. "Fine, show me that speed then. Try coming at me with a frontal attack," he commanded, standing with an air of relaxed confidence.

I took my stance, focusing all my energy. Laxus seemed fairly relaxed, perhaps not expecting much. But I saw his eyes widen in surprise when I suddenly zapped right behind him, moving at a speed few could match. I prepared a side kick, my foot aiming for his side.

However, Laxus's reflexes were razor-sharp. He barely managed to follow my movements and blocked my kick with his left arm, a look of excitement crossing his face.

"Okay, now THAT is interesting," he said, a rare grin on his face. "Show me more. I've never seen someone that fast. Seems like it's nearly teleportation," he added.

We continued training for a full hour, pushing my limits with each passing minute. Laxus's relentless pace kept me on my toes, and I gave it everything I had. By the end of the session, I was lying on the ground, panting heavily, every muscle in my body aching.

"Not bad, kid," Laxus said, extending a hand to help me up. "I wasn't expecting much, to be honest. But you've got something to work on, that's for sure."

"Thanks, Laxus," I replied, taking his hand and pulling myself up. "But I've still got a long way to go before I'm half as powerful as you... I feel useless right now. I can't even make an attack powerful enough to do anything," I said, lowering my gaze, feeling a wave of frustration wash over me.

Laxus placed a firm hand on my shoulder, his expression serious but encouraging. "Listen, Haru. Power isn't just about how strong your attacks are. It's about control, precision, and knowing how to use what you've got. You've got speed and agility that most mages can only dream of. Don't underestimate that."

I looked up at him, his words sinking in. "I understand. I just... want to be stronger, to be able to protect everyone."

Laxus nodded, his grip on my shoulder tightening slightly. "And you will. But it takes time and hard work. You've got the potential, Haru. Just keep pushing yourself, and you'll get there."

I nodded, determination reigniting within me.

He gave me a rare smile. "Good. Now get some rest. We'll continue tomorrow."

The sun was setting as I reached the guild hall, casting a warm glow over the building. Inside, the familiar sounds of laughter and camaraderie greeted me, lifting my spirits. Mira spotted me and waved me over.

"How was training with Laxus?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

"I don't know if I'll be able to move tomorrow," I muttered, "But I learned a lot."

"That's great to hear," she said, handing me a glass of water. "Keep at it, Haru."

I took the glass and drank deeply, feeling the cool water revitalizing me. "Thanks, Mira. I will."

With that, my second week at Fairy Tail finally came to an end. As the evening settled into a comforting quiet, I waved goodbye to everyone, their cheerful farewells echoing in my ears. Feeling a mixture of exhaustion and contentment, I climbed up to the roof to reclaim my sweet spot, my sanctuary under the stars.

A/N : I'll use this note for a small precision. Haru's "zapping" magic should be considered a sort of swift steps magic. He doesn't move life Flash would, it's more a single step enhancement. He can go from on step to another super fast, but he still kinda slows down between each steps. And that creates that zigzag sensation when he's running for example.

I hope everyone liked this one. As I said, next chapter we'll be getting into some interesting stuff.

See ya !
