"Why is the island falling? Did destroying the wings do this..?" Blaze said.
"Blaze!" Tangle said and tossed Blaze her tail. "Grab on!" she said and Blaze grabbed on.
"I'm sorry! I didn't know completing my mission would cause this!"
"No! The island is falling…" Amy said. "It means something happened to the Master Emerald!"
Back with Sonic, Knuckles and Shadow.
"On the plus side- he's not in a "Super" state anymore!" Sonic said.
"Amy! Do you read me? Neo took the Master Emerald and transformed!" Knuckles said. "Please tell me Burning Blaze is still around for heavy support!"
Back with Amy, Tangle and Blaze.
"Things have gotten much worse. Is there any chance you can transform again?" Amy asked.
"I'm sorry, but I cannot." Blaze said. "The Sol Emeralds' power is diminished for now."
Back with Sonic, Knuckles and Shadow.
"That's a "no" on Burning Blaze!" Knuckles said.
"And we don't have the Chaos Emeralds, so no "Super Sonic" for me, either..." Sonic said.
"I will not lose to that thing!" Shadow said.
"Okay, okay; got it! I have a plan!"
"I will realize Dr. Eggman's dream of a Global Empire!" Neo Metal said. "And nothing you can do can stop me!" he said while they ran and he grabbed them. "Come! Let us join the rest of your feeble "Resistance"!" he said. "You will watch as I destroy them! Witness Angel Island dashed to pieces!" he said. Then I will show you the mercy of a Swift Demise!"
"Is this part of your plan?" Shadow asked.
"It is now!" Sonic said. "All we need to do is rip the Master Emerald out of his chest. Take away his power source, and we save Angel Island." she said. "And "Master Over-Blown" here is taking us right to the calvary!"
"Hrgh! Nice and simple-I like it! I'll focus on the Master Emerald! Just keep Neo-Master- whatever busy!" Knuckles said pushing a hand away.
"Cool! Shadow, we need to bust up the wings and drive him down to the Island! Close the gap!"
"Nrgh! Understood!" Shadow said.
Meanwhile.
"Uh... Tails? The Giant Robo-Dragon is Heading Right For us!" Vector said.
"No…" Tails said. "We're heading right for him!" he said. "Sonic Needs Our Help! And If We Don't Act Fast, Angel Island Will Be Lost!" he said. "Tell Amy To Get Everyone On Deck! I'll get Us As Close As I can!"
"Man, I Hope We're Getting Hazard Pay For This..."
Then they started shooting at Neo Metal Sonic.
"Amy! New Plan! Take Out That Thing's Wings And Drive It Down To The island! I'll Handle the Rest!" Knuckles said while gliding to the Master Emerald.
"I'll take the left wing, you take the right!" Sonic said.
"Be Quick About It..." Shadow said. "Before Things Somehow Get Worse."
Meanwhile.
"P-p-please don't do this!" Eggman said. "I-I-I have no money, b-b-but I can repair Something for you!" he said. "F-fix your sink? Toilet? Bookcase?!"
"Give it a rest already!" Tumble said. "You Sure This Is Supposed To Be Eggman? 'Cause He Is Not Impressing us Right Now."
"Have Faith, Tumble. That's him." Starline said.
"M-m-maybe You'll Listen! I'm Not Eggman! My Name is Mr. Tinker!" Eggman said.
"Oh, You Certainly Think it is. Trauma From Your Last Defeat, No Doubt." Starline said. "Trust me, Dear Doctor. I Made my Career Out of studying you." he said. "But don't worry," he said. "..I Intend to fix That. I Will Restore You To Your Former Glory. Dr. Eggman Will Be Reborn!"
"But I'm not him! I don't want to be Eggman!"
"And he certainly wouldn't want to be you." Starline said. "Just lie back, relax, and think of Eggman Land."
Back on Angel Island.
"Rraugh! Bothersome insects!" Overload Neo Metal and was hit by Sonic.
'Everyone's combined strength might do it, but no way ugly here is going to let them get close.' Sonic thought. 'So I better do the one thing I do best…' she thought. 'Tick Metal Sonic off!'
"You called me your "Loathsome Copy", but last I checked, hedgehogs didn't look like fifty-foot tall dragons." she said. "And we aren't made of metal. Or have the Master Emerald as a pacemaker. And I kinda came first, sooo..."
"I am "Sonic" perfected! I am more than you'll ever be! I am-" he started but was hit. "Yaargh!"
"Nice one Whisper! Ten points for dramatic timing!"
"Resistance! Charge!" Amy said.
"Begone parasites!" Overload Neo Metal said.
"Did Knuckles relay the plan?" Sonic asked.
"We know what to do! Just bye us some time while Tails gets into position!" Amy said.
"Can do!" Sonic said and hit Overload Neo Metal.
"Gyaah!" Overload Neo Metal said.
Meanwhile Rouge was hooking up some bombs.
"All set! Do it!" Rouge said and Whisper shot at while Knuckles tried to free the Master Emerald and Silver Blaze and Tangle kept Overload Neo Metal busy.
"Almost… almost…" Tails said.
"Enough!" Overload Neo Metal said and threw everyone off.
"I can't carry everyone! What are we gonna do?" Charmy asked holding Sonic.
"Don't panic! It's gonna be okay!" Sonic said.
'I've never had to reach so far. In so many directions...' Silver thought and took a deep breath. 'Focus... Focus! I can't let them down!'
"HnYah!" he said unleashing his powers and catching everyone.
Then the ship crashed into Overload Neo Metal.
Inside.
"Haha! Direct hit!" Tails said. "Now- engine full ahead!"
"Unworthy child!" Overload Neo Metal said.
Meanwhile Knuckles was still trying to get the Master Emerald.
"C'mon! C'mon! Move!" he said and it was free.
"Nooo!" Overload Neo Metal said while Knuckles glided away holding it.
When Knuckles got to the Shrine he slammed it down and laid on it while the island went back up.
"Ha... haha... Ha ha ha!" he said laying on his back.
Back with Sonic and the others.
"Put me down! Let me go!" Sonic said and Silver let her go and she ran. "Tails! You okay Buddy?! Tails?!" she said and Tails flew over to her. "Dude! That was amazing!"
"Haha- Thanks! I Don't Think I Want to do it Again Any Time Soon, Though..." Tails said.
"Don't worry." she said and looked at Metal Sonic. "I think the fight is done."
"Whew!" Vector said while Charmy sat on him and Espio sat next to him. "Case closed boys!"
"Is this what it's always like for you guys?" Tangle said.
"Pretty much." Amy said.
"Can we hang out all the time?!"
"Thanks for joining our team today." Silver said to Whisper.
"Yes. You were excellent." Blaze said.
"You're welcome." Whisper whispered.
"Not even going to stick for the after party?" Rouge said said and sighed while Shadow left. "That's so you." she said. "See you around." she said and he waved.
Meanwhile Sonic and Tails were with Knuckles.
"How's it feel to be back home?" Sonic asked.
"Good. Real good." Knuckles said smiling. "Metal Sonic?"
"Offline. It's over." Tails said.
"Metal's delusions of grandeur got knocked out of him. Eggman is a reformed handy man. The Island's safe and the world is saved." Sonic said. "I'd say today is a good day!"
"Haha! Yeah!"
Then Sonic sighed.
"Me and Shadow broke up." she said and they looked at her.
"We're sorry Sonic." Tails said.
"Want me to punch him?" Knuckles asked.
"No. Maybe when things slow down we can try it again." Sonic said and they nodded.
Meanwhile.
"The first round of the procedure is complete. Tell me, are you feeling more like yourself..." Starline said. "Dr. Eggman?"
