Patrick: Next up is the glorious 2015-2016 season, the season where the Cavaliers finally fulfilled their promise to bring a title. In real life, they finished 57-25 to be 1st in the East. In our simulation, because they keep their best head coach as a reward for winning the 2015 title, they finish 67-15 by winning 10 more games.

Then, their 2016 playoff record in real life was 16-5, with sweeps of the Pistons and Hawks, a 4-2 win over the Raptors, and coming back from a 3-1 deficit to stun the Warriors in 2016. In our simulation here, their record becomes 16-3 because the only games they win in the 2016 postseason are Game 3 over the Raptors and Game 4 over the Thunder.

Squidward: Then, there's the 2016-2017 season. In reality, they finished 51-31 to be 2nd place in the East because of many injuries to their superstars and role players. Instead, we simulate that they finish the season 63-19 by winning 12 more games, you know, the games they weren't supposed to lose.

And their playoff record in the 2017 postseason was 13-5, and their season ended with a disappointing 4-1 loss to the Warriors. But in our simulation, they finish the 2017 postseason 16-2 because they win Game 3 over the Celtics, and then defeat the Warriors by winning Game 3, Game 5 and Game 6, therefore completing their first 3-peat.
