Mr. Krabs: Oh no, then we have the dreaded 2017-2018 season. Their actual record was 50-32 to be 4th in the East because they entered that season without their best GM and #2, who both left the Cavaliers thanks to #35 for the Warriors, and they had to go through a roster retool. But in our simulation, because the two stay with the organization thanks to the 2017 championship win, the team finishes 69-13 to be 1st in the East instead because they win 19 of the 32 games, as well as improving by 6 wins from the previous season. This is because they win the games they were not supposed to lose, and here are the regular season games they shouldn't have lost:
October 21st vs. Orlando
October 26th @ Brooklyn
October 29 vs. New York
November 5th vs. Atlanta
November 11th @ Houston
December 8th @ Indiana
December 19th vs. Milwaukee
December 25th @ Golden State
December 27th @ Sacramento
January 3rd @ Boston
January 30th @ Detroit
February 6th @ Orlando
February 22nd vs. Washington
February 25th vs. San Antonio
March 3rd vs. Denver
March 9th @ L.A. Clippers
March 11th @ L.A. Lakers
April 6th @ Philadelphia
April 10th vs. New York
Then, their 2018 postseason record was 12-10, with a 4-3 win over the Pacers, another sweep of the Raptors, a 4-3 win over the Celtics, and a 4-0 loss to the Warriors. In our simulation, however, they finish the postseason with a record of 16-2 because this team is unstoppable by signing #4 from the Celtics and #3 from the Bulls. First, the Cavaliers defeat the Wizards in five games. Then, after sweeping the 76ers, they still sweep the Raptors and then advance to the Finals. This time, they get home-court advantage instead of the Warriors and win in five games, winning their fourth straight championship.
SpongeBob: And then starting with the 2018-2019 season, the team would win 3 more championships (2019, 2022 2023) because their best head coach and GM stay, as well as #23, #2, #45, #31, #0, and #13. And if they kept these players by today, they would've been the Eastern Conference champions and in the Finals by now instead of the Celtics.
