This was originally going to be the prompt response, but it didn't work quite as good as I thought. Hope you enjoy this short story.

To God Be The Glory!!!!

Jo shifted uncomfortably in front of the house, sharing a quick glance with Jewel over Kiah's bowed head. Breathing deep, the archer stepped forward to knock on the wooden door. The door opened before he was finished knocking, and a young buck launched himself at Jo. With a laugh, Jo swung the young rabbit through the air, placing the buck back on the ground. He looked past him into the house. A doe, the young buck's mother, stepped out gracefully.

"Jo!" She gave him a quick hug before stepping back, glancing at his companions. "Jo told me he was bringing friends. Welcome to my home." She greeted them, smiling as she pulled the young buck next to her. "I'm Louise, and this young rascal is Jo."

The archer shrugged at the look Kiah gave him and smiled. "What? Picket picked it without my knowledge." He was glad to see Jewel and Kiah relaxing; the scarred buck even lifted his head looking around. He could see Louise take in a sharp breath as she saw Kiah's face and neck, but she quickly recovered, nodding inside the house.

"The others are already here." She motioned them into the house, and Jo followed Louise to the common room, where there were several other rabbits sitting. With a shout, one of the does jumped up and ran to him, gripping him tight. Pushing her away gently, the archer grinned.

"Heather!" Looking around the room, Jo saw Heather's husband King Smalden Joveson, Cole, Heyna, and Picket. He grinned at Cole, nodding in greeting before pushing his companions forward gently. "I'd like you all to meet Jewel and Kiah." He watched in satisfaction as his new friends were drawn into the group before turning to Picket, who moved next to him. Jo's eyes twinkled as he glanced sideways at the one-armed buck.

"Picket Packslayer. How does it feel to be old?" He grinned at the snort of amusement that came from beside him.

"If I'm old, then you're old as well."

The archer shifted to lean against the wall to study the other buck. "You're the one who is older than me." Shaking his head, Jo laughed softly. "You look well, my old friend."

Picket's voice was tinged with amusement. "As do you."

Kiah walked towards them with plates in his hands. He nodded at Picket, giving him one of the plates he carried and handing the other to Jo.

The archer nodded his thanks. "Are you getting something to eat?" Kiah shook his head before looking out the window, the colourful flowers and plants catching his eye. The quiet buck glanced over at Picket.

"It's beautiful." Clearing his throat, he looked back outside. Jo leaned against the wall, watching as Picket looked out with the same look of contentment on his face. With a laugh, he shook his head.

"There is no doubt that you are both farmers. Well, technically, Kiah is more of a Buck of all trades, but still."

Picket and Kiah turned to look at him in confusion, and he grinned. "You are both enamoured with the field. That's not normal."

With a quick shake of the head, Kiah grinned and punched Jo on the shoulder as he left. Picket watched him leave, giving a decisive nod. "I like him."

Jo glanced at him, cocking his head slightly. "How do you know? He's been in your home for less than an hour, and he's spoken two words to you."

Picket shrugged. "He appreciates plants." After a moment of silence, he nodded at Jewel, who had been drawn into the doe's conversation. "You have a wife yet?"

Jo shoved him lightly as he laughed. "No. Jewel is just a friend."

Picket looked at him skeptically. "We shall see. We shall see."
