Kara smashed into the wall; sending rocks in various directions; one rock hit the Sheriff, knocking him unconscious. Alex, screw the Sheriff, Alex, Kara had to make sure that her sister was safe. She couldn't lose her sister.

Kara saw Alex sitting on the ground, screaming. A bullet was embedded in a wall. Strange. Kara heard the Sheriff fire his gun. He couldn't have been such a terrible marksman. Kara didn't understand why the bullet didn't seem to hit Alex. It didn't matter, Alex, Kara had to make sure Alex was safe. Why did she have to be so loud.

"It's so loud! So many noises, I can hear so many noises. Kara, is that you? Help me," said Alex, tears escaping her eyes. Kara flew to Alex, hugging her. No bullet wound, Alex was safe. "Kara!"

Alex screamed again, opening her eyes, red energy shooting from them, and hitting the ceiling of the room. Red energy? But Alex was a human. Alex, her human sister Alex had heat vision. Wait a second, Alex had Kryptonian powers? But that meant … Kara's heart heat up, she felt kittens and puppies jump in her heart. Kara's heart began beating faster.

"Kara, help me, it's so loud, I … it's overwhelming," said Alex, as Kara hugged her sister tightly. For the first time since Kara had seen Alex, she hugged her using all her strength. "Kara."

"Alex, it will be okay, Alex, you are okay, just listen to my voice," said Kara. She remembered how overwhelming her arrival on planet Earth was; she had years to adjust and perfect her Kryptonian powers. And now Alex had the same powers!

"I, okay, but … it's overwhelming," said Alex. "Kara, please hold me. It's too much!"

"Alex listen to my voice. Listen to my heartbeat," said Kara. She could almost explode from happiness. She lost her family, her cousin abandoned her, and now Kara had a sister. A Kryptonian sister. Kara couldn't wait to share what it meant, but she had to get Alex back home first. It wasn't safe for them there; someone could have spotted them. Luckily the Sheriff was knocked out cold; Kara quickly mentally analyzed what just happened. He had to have fired his bullet at Alex at the same time as Kara had arrived, knocking him unconscious. Yup, he didn't have enough time to see Kara or Alex to use their powers.

"Kara, I can hear you heartbeat, I can hear your heartbeat! What does it mean? I, I think I can focus better now, the voices are still loud, but more manageable," said Alex, standing up, and looking at Kara.

"We need to talk. Let's get back home," said Kara, lifting Alex and flying back. She knew her sister could now fly, but Kara didn't want to overwhelm her sister. She just became Kryptonian, a new Kryptonian. Kara loved her sister dearly, but she was afraid to hope to see this day come; and yet it has arrived. Alex was a Kryptonian, Alex was her sister, a sister Kara loved with all her heart.

Kara returned to their room, putting Alex on her bed, and then noticing Eliza standing in the doorway. "Girls, Kara, you are flying? But you promised not to use your powers," said Eliza. And now they were discovered.

"Mother," said Alex, screaming, and sending red energy at the wall of the house.

"Alexandra Danvers, have you experimented with Kara's powers? How could you. What have you done, Alex? I am disappointed in you, Kara is your sister, not a guinea pig for you to experiment on to get some Kryptonian powers," said Eliza.

"Eliza, Alex hasn't done anything wrong," said Kara.

"But Kara, your sister has been experimenting on your powers," said Eliza, then turning to Alex. Eliza got the wrong impression and was now blaming Alex. Kara had to explain, she had to. Eliza was partially right, Alex did gain her powers but not for the reason Eliza thought. "How could you? I am so disappointed with you, Alex."

Alex opened her eyes, looking at Eliza, tears escaping her eyes. No, Eliza was frequently disappointed with her sister, but this? Kara couldn't let Eliza keep blaming her sister for being the most wonderful sister in the world.

"Eliza, stop this. Alex. Did. Nothing. Wrong," said Kara. She never stood up to Eliza, but she had to. Kara had to explain to both of them what just happened.

"But –"

"Alex is my sister. On Krypton some mysterious force existed that recognized true love between a Kryptonian and non Kryptonian. When a soul bond, whether familiar or romantic formed between a Kryptonian and a non Kryptonian, the non Kryptonian became a Kryptonian. Eliza, don't you dare blame Alex for this," said Kara. "I love Alex with all my heart; she is my sister. She is a member of the House of El. And now our bond turned Alex into a Kryptonian. She is truly my sister, my Kryptonian sister, and I love Alex with all my life."

Eliza opened her eyes widely. Kara hasn't heard about any similar phenomenon on this planet. It must have been confusing for her family.

"You never told me about this phenomenon," said Alex, gently looking at Kara.

"That's because I was afraid. Please understand, Alex. I, Alex, I was afraid. You became my sister, I love you, and I was afraid that you would never become a Kryptonian. I was afraid to even hope for this to happen; it's been centuries since someone outside of Krypton became a Kryptonian. Alex, don't you see, it's wonderful, you are the first person to become a Kryptonian in centuries. Rao, I can't believe this happened. My heart is full of puppies and kittens now!"

"She shares all your powers now, isn't she?" Eliza asked.

"Yes," said Kara, looking at Alex. "You are my sister. I love you. Come here, I can now hug you will all my strength."

Kara tightly hugged her sister. Humans were so fragile, but now Alex had the same exact powers as she did. Kara smiled, looking forward to hug Alex tightly in the future. They were the Danvers sisters, they were the sisters of the House of El.

"Girls, I … Alex, I am sorry for blaming you. But please, no one could know about this. Absolutely no one. Please keep this secret. A terrible agency knows about Kara being Kryptonian, but please don't tell them or anyone else about Alex being a Kryptonian. Girls, I am so proud of you. Your love warms my heart. I am just worried. Please don't use your powers, and Alex, please don't reveal that you are a Kryptonian. You are a human woman, people know you as a human, not Kryptonian. Please hide your true nature and act human," said Eliza. They would, but Kara wished that one day, she wouldn't hide who she was, at least using her powers in the open, even if the general public didn't know her actual name.

"We … we wanted to stop these investigations and heroics," said Kara. She remembered talking to that one agent who looked a lot like jeju. "We just had to bring Kenny's killer to justice, initially planning to give the Sheriff evidence … he turned out to be the killer. But now, we have all the evidence, the Sheriff is going down, and we won't use our powers to endanger ourselves."

"Thank you," said Eliza.

"Kara and I are going to go flying … mom, don't give me that look, I imagined flying next to Kara, and now I can! Don't worry, mom, we won't do any heroics Clark is doing, but I … I just want to be with Kara," said Alex. She was her sister, her Kryptonian sister. Kara saw Alex touch her stomach. "Oh no, I feel so, so bad. My stomach, I suddenly feel so hungry!"

That was funny. Kara laughed. "Welcome to having a Kryptonian appetite. Time for you to learn to nom-nom many, many pizzas, all the pizzas," said Kara, laughing. Kara looked at Eliza. "Sorry, your food bill is about to double."

Alex was now laughing. "I could get used to that. I love eating pizza, it just I never could eat too much of it before," said Alex, grinning.

"Alcohol will not affect you anymore, though," said Kara.

"Oh no, but my vodka!"

"Your what? Alex!"

"But I like my precious bottle of vodka! And now I cannot get drunk!" Alex exclaimed.

"You are seventeen!"

"It's okay, Eliza. I knew about Alex drinking occasionally from that bottle. And now she cannot get drunk!" Kara said.

"Kara, you should have told me about Alex's bad habits. Alex, I," said Eliza, pausing, taking a deep breath, and briefly closing her eyes, before opening them. "Normally I would be upset, but due to the events that transpired today, I will forget about your precious vodka. Girls, I will start the oven, I will see the two of you in the kitchen soon."

Eliza existed the room, leaving Kara and Alex alone on the bed. "Alex," said Kara. Alex leaned towards Kara, hugging her tightly. "Alex, don't be afraid to hurt me. You won't. You are my sister. You are Alex Danvers Zor El of the House of El. You are my sister."

The sisters hugged. Kara felt at peace. She lost all her birth family, but she wasn't alone. She had Alex, her Kryptonian sister Alex of the House of El. How Kara wished for her parents, for her aunt Astra, for Kal's parents, and Kal too, to see Kara and Alex being sisters. Well, Kal would certainly not know what this meant; Kara would forgive Kal one day about abandoning her, but she wouldn't tell him about this. Not yet. Alex was her Kryptonian sister. The House of El continued with the Danvers sisters, Kara just wished everyone she loved could see this. Kara knew she would never see her five biological Kryptonian relatives, she would see Kal someday, but now, at this point, Kara truly was not alone. Alex, her sister Alex was a Kryptonian. Alex Danvers was a member of the House of El.

Kara and Alex stood up from the bed, running to the kitchen. Kara smelled the delicious pizza smell. Pizza! She loved pizza. Kara preferred eating cheese lovers, or pizzas with chicken, anything greasy really. Kara just couldn't stand salads; she could make an exception to pizzas that had some green leaves on them, but salads, especially kale … yuck.

Kara noticed a small food container on the table. Strange, she hasn't seen it there before. "Eliza, what is this oddity?" Kara asked, pointing at the container. She never seen this food before, but the aroma entered her nose. It smelled strange, delicious strange.

"Oh, it's just a portion of some potstickers I bought for some takeout after I left the grocery store. Feel free to try them," said Eliza.

Kara lifted one potsticker from the container, suspiciously looking at it, before putting it into her mouth. Kara licked her lips, promptly eating it. "Alex!"

"You liked it, I see," said Alex. Kara smiled, promptly grabbing three more potstickers. Then four more, putting seven of them in her mouth. Such delicious food, she likes pizza but this? This was something else entirely.

"Alex wis iz so gud," said Kara, with full mouth, seven potstickers still present in her mouth. Alex laughed. Kara promptly finished the entire container; soon all potstickers were gone. Yum. For now, Kara was content, but she had to have more in future. "Eliza, please buy more of these! They are so delicious. Yes, delicious, they are my new favorite food!"

Alex jumped on the floor, walking proudly to the fridge, and grabbing the bottle of vodka that seemed to be only half full, opened it, and began drinking straight from the bottle. Kara laughed, as Eliza shook her head. Kara ran to a CD player, and turned on music, finding some disco music. Kara and Alex began dancing and making silly faces, as Eliza shook her head once more. Kara saw Eliza smile.

Next morning Kara and Alex provided evidence to the police; they stood next to one another, seeing how cops arrested the Sheriff. He was screaming, trying to defend himself, and attempting to smear them, but the evidence was overwhelming. Kara and Alex were a great team, maybe someday both of them would be superheroes, working together, and protecting the citizens of the city they would live.

Kara saw how Josie now completely ignored Alex; but Alex didn't seem to care as much anymore. Alex radiated with happiness, sitting proudly next to Kara during lunch, trying to see who could eat more pizza. Kara loved her sister dearly, but Alex would never win such a contest. Nope, nuh uh, Kara was a champion at pizza eating.

After school was over, Kara and Alex returned home, waiting for the sky to turn dark. Once it was dark, Kara and Alex flew to the arctic. Kara smiled, seeing a polar bear mama with two cubs. The sisters finally arrived to the middle of the north pole.

"Such fresh air," said Kara, hovering in the air, as she closed her eyes.

"It still feels so … unbelievable. I can fly, I can fly! I have all your powers, Kara. The cold doesn't bother me anymore," said Alex.

Kara laughed. "There should totally be a movie with some young woman, a snow powered magic witch, perhaps, who would be totally like, saying that snow or cold doesn't bother her," said Kara, flying around Alex, who has been hovering in the air.

"Ya, ya, Kar. I don't know, you have interesting ideas. But, snow mage or not, I know at least for me, cold doesn't bother me anymore. Yesterday I felt overwhelmed, but after listening to your heartbeat, after waking up as a Kryptonian, I feel … these powers, I feel so much alive," said Alex.

Kara laughed. "Well, I will teach you everything I know about my powers. I know we won't be using our powers anytime soon for heroics, but I promise you, Alex, I will help you learn to control all your new powers. Alex, you are so strong, so powerful, yes, so powerful. You will learn to control your powers in no time," said Kara, flying towards Alex, and hugging her.

"I have no doubt. I have a super amazing sister," said Alex.

"El Mayara," said Kara.

"El Mayara," said Alex. They kept hugging for several more minutes, before ending the hug.

Kara flew away from Alex. She then promptly flew towards Alex, briefly touched her shoulder, and flew away. "Tag, you are it," said Kara, laughing.

Alex also laughed, and began flying after Kara, chasing her. The two of them might not have been superheroes, but they both had Kryptonian powers, and could play together.

Kara and Alex chased after one another for the next half an hour, before landing on a block of ice, which was drifting in the ocean. Normally, anyone would be quickly frozen sitting in such a cold environment, but like Alex said, cold didn't bother her. Not anymore.

Kara and Alex sat on the ice plank. "It's amazing, I feel amazing having these powers," said Alex.

"And you could share this gift," said Kara. Alex raised her eyebrow. "Alex, you are a Kryptonian. This soul bond would allow your future romantic partner to become a Kryptonian. Although, now that you are a Kryptonian, perhaps we should use the Matrix to find out who would be compatible with you."

Alex laughed, gently hitting Kara's left shoulder with her fist. The sisters laughed. "It would be nice, but Kara … I don't need any man. I tend to scare off guys for some reason. It doesn't matter. It would be nice to end up in a relationship with someone nice down the road, but I … I don't need it. I have my sister. You are my family," said Alex.

"Alex Danvers Zor El," said Kara, smiling. "I felt so alone, but you entered my life. I love you Alex. We are the Danvers sisters, we can accomplish anything."

"We should come with a warning. The baddies should be afraid," said Alex, grinning as Kara laughed.

"Alex, you are the newest Kryptonian in generations. You are my sister, our bond will be unbroken. I just … I just wish that one day we would have a large family we could all call members of the House of El. Perhaps not, perhaps we will be the last Kryptonians on this planet, although I doubt it. Golly, when we find people we truly love, they would become Kryptonians like us! Imagine, the Danvers sisters and their significant others are going on a double date," said Kara.

Alex laughed. "Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Kara, you are a selfless and good woman, I have no doubt you will find someone who loves you for who you are. I … I don't know why, but I seem to scare men away. Perhaps one day I will figure out why. But you, I have no doubt you will find someone who loved you," said Alex.

"Alex, you are an amazing sister. Yes, two of your friends abandoned you, but don't despair. You will make more friends. You will find someone who you love," said Kara. "But you are right. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Only Rao knows what awaits us in the future. I believe both of us will find someone who truly loved us, someday. And we will have a large Kryptonian family. But for now, for now I have my sister, my Kryptonian sister whom I love dearly. And at this moment, I am happy."

Kara and Alex hugged once more. Kara and Alex had one another. They were the last daughters of Krypton, the sisters of the House of El. Kara didn't know what the future held for her, but it didn't matter. Kara wanted to live in that precious moment. Alex was Kryptonian, her sister. And that made me Kara happy.
