Synopsis
Jack Ramirez is a man with few words he lives in his small home in vacuo with his wife Jill and two kids a daughter named Zoey and a kid named Mathew before he became a cold blooded vigilante killer he was a nice man willing to help others that was until the Grimm attacked his house and team STRQ failed to stop the attack
Chapter 1
Back in his home in Vacuo, Jack and his family were watching TV like they always do before bed as it was getting darker outside
Jack and he had to be up before 5 am to go to work.
Mathew, his son, said, "Hey, Dad, are you gonna be able to take Friday off for my school basketball game?" Jack chuckled, said, "I'll try, Mathew, but my work barely allows free time," and Jack looked at his wife, Jill.
Then she said, "Maybe you could try and pester your boss, Jim." Jack turned around.
And didn't say anything. Zoey, who was Mathew's older sister and had already graduated from the school, said, "I'll certainly be there, Mathew, don't worry."
Then Jack says to everyone "alrighty I think it's time for all of us to go to bed"
On the next day, Friday, Mathew is waiting for his father to come to the game while his sister and mother are already there. Matt says, "Hey, Mom, when is Dad coming?" Jill turns around and responds, "I already called your father, honey, but he didn't pick up, so he's probably running late at work."
After the game, Matt was upset that his father didn't show up, feeling guilty, Jack decided he would take his son out to the local arcade in the city. The two of them had fun, and Matt was feeling much better. He then said to his father, "Thank you, Dad, for taking us out, even though I am still a little upset that you didn't show up." Jack turned his head and said, "I'm sorry I didn't show up, Matt. I wanted to take us out to make it up to you."
On the walk home from the arcade, Jack and Matt saw a family with two little girls, a mother, and a father. Jack introduced himself as Jack Ramirez, and his son Matt Ramirez. The father of the other family introduced himself and the mother. The two families talked for a bit, then went their own separate ways. Making it to the house, Matt went into his room to study. Jill was already in bed sleeping. Zoey was staying up late in her room. Jack decided it would be a good time to.
He works on his weapons in private, just in case. He has a sword-like weapon called "Ragnarok" and a pistol called "Firestarter," and a secret weapon.
Back at Beacon Academy, a place where huntsmen and huntresses go to train and get their official licenses, Ozpin gathers Team STRQ for a reunion mission.
Qrow took a swig from his flask; the sweet vapors of Vacuo rum mingled with the odors of ink and ancient manuscripts emanating from the shelves in Ozpin's office. "So, why the hell are we back here, Oz?"
Stroking his short beard, Tai remarked, "My question, exactly. You don't often just call us in, just to have a chat." A concerned expression filled his face, as he glanced at the other members of Team STRQ.
Summer was uncharacteristically silent, but Raven just rolled her shoulders, saying, "It's probably nothing too serious."
Qrow gave her a pointed look. "With Ozpin, it's never anything trivial, Sis."
Raven snorted, rolling her eyes at her brother.
Oz turned around and saw team STRQ again for some time. He then said, "Welcome back, team STRQ. I would like you to go to Vacou to help the local huntsmen kill grims in the area as a reunion mission." The whole team looked at each other and said, "Alright, we will do it." Then Oz responded with one thing, "Also, you'll meet a friend of mine named Jack. He's a local police officer in that area and can help you with your investigation."
Therefore, the team leaves for Vacuo. Upon arriving in the kingdom, the four meet Jack Ramirez for the first time. Jack then says, "So, you're Team STRQ, the team Oz told me about?" "Yes," Summer responds, and Tai looks at Jack, saying, "We were told there are Grimm in the area. Would you mind showing us where?"
Qrow took out his flask and started drinking again. Jack gave him a bad look and said, "You do know it's illegal to be drinking in public, sir?"
Qrow looks at Jack with a frown.
Tai's laughing at the fact that Qrow was drinking in public.
Summer and Raven were embarrassed by the situation.
They then proceeded to go to the area with the Grimm, which was near Jack's home but thankfully not that close. The area was filled with Grimm. Qrow looked at Jack, who had his gun positioned at the Grimm with the safety on. Tai, Summer Raven all pulled out their weapons to attack Qrow's Harbinger in its scythe mode. Raven pulled out her katana, and Summer her bow and arrow-like weapon. Qrow said, "Me and Tai will take the ones on the left; you two will take the ones on the right." Qrow dodged an attack by the Ursa Grimm, slicing its head off, but with Qrow's bad luck, his semblance struck again, hitting Raven on accident. She said, "Watch where you're going, you bastard!" Summer fired shots at a Beowulf Grimm and killed it. Tai took out his weapon and killed another Beowulf. Jack ran to his home to check on his family, only to realize Qrow was standing there, failing to protect them as his semblance struck again.
Jack, overcome by anger, screamed at Qrow, pulling his gun on him and saying, "YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO PROTECT MY FAMILY!" Qrow, looking uncharacteristically sad, stood by the dead family with Raven, Tai, and Summer. Tai asked, "Qrow, what happened?" Summer, with a concerned look, and Raven, silent but observant, stood by.
With Jack being angry, he took out his weapons Ragnarok and Firestarter, and his other secret weapon, which he finished calling "Vengeance". Qrow looks at him with a concerned eyebrow, asking, "What the hell are you doing, Jack?" Jack responds, "Vengeance." Jack puts on the Vengeful Driver and says, "Transform," making him the vigilante he will be from now on.
Chapter 2
Years have passed since Jack became the infamous vigilante only known as "Vengeance". No one knows who he is, as Jack erased all records of his past and name.
In the present time, in Vale, a group of men approach a dust shop with unknown intentions. A young teenage girl wearing a red cloak can be seen in the distance. Roman Torchwick approaches the shopkeeper and says, "Do you know how hard it is to find a dust shop open this late!?" Then he says, "Boys, take it away!" One of the men approaches the girl with the cloak and says, "Put your hands up and walk down slowly." The young girl, with headphones on and not listening, turns her head around and says, "Who, me?" The man, getting visibly angry, says, "Yes, you. Now turn around and give me your dust." She then proceeds to ask the robber mockingly, "Are you robbing me?" "Yes!" Ruby then takes out Crescent Rose, her weapon she made at Signal Academy. She uses her semblance, called Petal Burst, and defeats Roman's men. With Roman now being angry, he tries to flee, with Ruby following him. Then Ruby hears a horrific noise and turns to a man with a hood on and two weapons, a sword, and a gun.
The man walks closer to Ruby, and fear having struck her heart, she looks at the man, unable to move. The hooded man pulls his gun at Roman Torchwick and pulls the trigger, while Glenda Goodwitch runs over to Ruby to protect her. Vengeful pulls out his driver to fight Glenda, only to realize that Roman has run away from the scene.
Later, with Ruby accepting Oz's offer to attend Beacon Academy with her older sister Yang,
Now on the airship to beacon academy, Yang says, "Oh, I'm so glad my little sis is coming to beacon with me!" With Ruby having a frown and saying, "Yang..."
The two then look at the screen, with Glenda welcoming the news students, and Yang saying, "I wonder who that is."
My name is Glenda Goodwitch," the woman on the screen said. "Oh," Yang responded.
On today's news, the reporter said on the screen that the vigilante known as "Vengeance" attacked the city today, looking to kill Roman Torchwick for unknown reasons. "Hey," Ruby said, "I fought him." "Really?" Yang said. "Yeah!" Ruby replied.
Later, a boy with blond hair walked by Ruby and Yang, with him being airsick and puking near the corner.
Similarly, another girl of Yang's age showed up. Her hair was white and styled in a ponytail.
"That damned vigilante" the white haired girl said
Ruby walked up to the white-haired girl and asked, "Do you know that person?" The woman introduced herself as Weiss Schnee.
"Kinda" Weiss said, "He almost killed my father and his company for exploiting the Faunus." Yang looked at Weiss and said, "Now that I think about it, my uncle and father and mother all fought someone similar to him years ago." Ruby added to the conversation, saying, "I recently fought him on a roof in the city. It was terrifying."
Now arriving at Beacon Academy, Oz welcomes the students and tells them about the academy and what initiation will be like.
Now on the cliff for initiation, the teams are waiting to be launched. Glenda, looking concerned, asks, "What if vengeance shows up and attacks the teams?" Oz, not looking concerned, responds, "Don't worry, I have faith that the teams will stop him."
\[...\] "What if vengeance shows up and attacks our team?" Oz, not looking concerned, says, "Don't worry; I have faith the team that forms will stop him." With all the students in the area with tokens, Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang have formed, with Pyrrha, Jaune, Nora, and Ren forming as well. But someone familiar approaches them, the hooded man. The hooded man says, "Ruby Rose, and Yang Xiao Long." "You know us?" Yang said. Black and Weiss looked at him. "Your parents' team left my family to die in a Grimm attack years ago," the hooded man said. "What do they have to do with it?" Pyrrha responded. The hooded man then proceeded to say, "They affected my life and now I'll kill all Huntsmen and Huntresses related to Qrow Branwen and Taiyang Xiao Long." Everyone looked at the hooded man without saying a word. Oz and Glynda rushed in front of the students. "Reveal yourself!" Glynda said. \[...\]
Everyone looked at Oz, who had a shocked face and said, "Jack, is that you?" "Hello, Ozpin," Jack said in return, "You are vengeance? I thought Qrow said you were fine?" Ruby and Yang then looked at Professor Ozpin, "Well, things weren't fine. What Qrow told you was a lie. Get out of my way." Oz then said no and told the students to run back to Beacon Academy with Glenda.
Chapter 3: After his fight with Ozpin, Jack went back to his hiding place, injured but still alive. Oz did the same. With Team RWBY and Team JNPR formed, Oz told them what happened with Jack all those years ago.
At first, no one said anything. Then, Ruby spoke up and said, "Why didn't you have me fight Jack? I could've helped him; he's clearly suffering." Oz responded with, "Well, Miss Rose, it isn't that simple. Jack Ramirez isn't the kind of person I used to know."
Yang said with a clear tone, "If he goes anywhere near my sister, I'll fight him."
Weiss agreed with Yang with a nod
Since everyone knew about Blake's background, they were worried about her.
Glenda asked Oz, "Do you think Jack will kill Blake like he did with the White Fang?"
"No oz responded with he let her parents live so he wouldn't kill her now"
After that everyone went back to their dorms for the night. Ruby was on her top bunk, Weiss was on the bottom bunk on the left, Yang was on her top bunk, and Blake was on the bottom bunk on the right.
During the night, Yang slid into Blake's bed, as the two of them were best friends, Blake asked Yang, "Wha- are you doing, Yang?" Yang quietly put her left hand on Blake's cat ears, making her blush. Yang swooped in for a little kiss on Blake's lips, then slowly made her way down to her stomach, then back up again for a kiss on her forehead. Then, Yang went back to her bed, leaving Blake with a blush on her face.
Back at Jack's hiding place, he is sharpening his weapons for his next kill, which would be Yang's mom, Raven.
Meanwhile, while Qrow is investigating where Jack has gone after all these years,
He's still having it rough with his semblance. He says, "Man, I don't know why the fuck I'm even looking for the guy anymore."
Later, Summer and Tai are coming to visit Ruby and Yang as the weekend approaches, but it also spells trouble since more than half of former team STRQ will be in one place.
Chapter 4: Jack is out looking for Raven Branwen. Finally, after all these years, Jack will finally kill a former member of Team STRQ.
Meanwhile, during lunch, Pyrrha asks Blake how she knows Jack and her history with the White Fang. Blake responds, "Well, when we were about to leave on a mission, this guy in full-plated armor with something on his waist—I don't really know what it was—Adam and Sienna were talking about what to do on the mission. That's when he showed up."
Flashback starts: Jack shows up with Ragnarok and a firestarter in hand. Adam says, "Who the hell are you, and what are you doing here?"
Jack responded with "I'm here to kill you all". Adam now angrily says "Blake! Attack him!". Blake ignored Adam's command, and Jack used his driver to activate his semblance known as "clock up", which allows him to go at high speeds. He slashed Adam in the heart without Adam making a move. A young Blake is looking at Jack in awe, wondering what just happened.
Later, Sienna tries to attack Jack but misses, and Jack slashes her head off cleanly. After Jack kills all the White Fang members, he picks up Blake gently and says, "Don't worry, I'll take you home no matter how far it is."
Flashback ends.
Chapter 5
After lunch, Blake and Yang were talking about what happened last night.
Blake started with a smirk then said, "Yang, next time you want to come on to my bed, please warn me beforehand." She then laughed afterwards.
Yang responded back with a smile.
Back in Professor Ozpin's office, four new people are standing in front of him: Cinder Fall, Mercury Black, Emerald Sutrai, and Neo, the girl who couldn't speak.
Professor Ozpin told the four people everything about Jack and his goals
Neo looked at Professor Ozpin with worry.
She took out her scroll and typed "Does he attack at random or is it an agenda?"
Professor Ozpin responded to Neo
"Yes, he has an agenda to kill huntsmen and huntresses. That is why I hired you four."
The four then separated and went to different areas of the academy. Neo went to patrol the dorms, Cinder went to patrol the courtyards, and Mercury and Emerald went to the gyms and classrooms.
Back at Jack's hiding place, he is getting ready to leave. He has a new thing that will give him an edge over Raven and Yang.
He then calls Oz again and Oz answers.
"Oz, it's been a while since our fight, but this time I have an edge. I have something that you've been looking for for a while now".
Oz responded with, "Hello, Mr. Ramirez. What could you possibly have that I've been looking for for some time now?"
Jack responded with "someone important"
Later that day, Neo is walking around the dorms looking to see if anyone needs help. She hears Ruby scream at the top of her lungs during her school work. Neo rushes in to see if she is okay. Neo takes out her scroll and types to Ruby's scroll, "Are you okay, miss?"
Ruby looked at her scroll and said
"Yup! Just frustrated with my school work! Also, why are you using your scroll to talk?"
Neo, blushing at the question,
She took out her scroll and typed: "I have extreme pain when I try to speak, so I can't speak with my mouth. I use a specialized scroll that helps me communicate with others!"
Ruby responded back with
"Oh! That's pretty cool! I didn't know they had those kinds of scrolls!"
Then Weiss comes walking to their dorm,
Angry, she said to Ruby, "Why are you yelling? You dolt! I can hear you across the hallway!"
Ruby smirked at Weiss, with Neo smiling,
"Oh!" Ruby shouted, "Weiss, meet my new friend Neo!"
"Hello Neo," Weiss greeted.
Later, Jack arrives at Beacon Academy again with someone beside him. The person has their hands tied behind their back and a cloth tied around their head.
Oz, seeing what's happening from his window office, comes running outside with Raven and the four security officers, along with Team RWBY and JNPR.
"Jack!" Oz yelled
"Hello Ozpin," Jack greeted.
"Who is that?" Oz demanded of Jack.
"I'm glad you asked," Jack said.
Ruby's, Yang's, and Raven's eyes shot open as the person next to Jack happened to be their uncle Qrow.
"Uncle Qrow!" Ruby shouted worriedly
"Brother!" Raven said as well.
Yang just stared at Uncle Qrow
Oz became uncharacteristically angry at Jack
Jack responded with "Now, Oz, you can either exchange Miss Branwen for Mr. Branwen or I can kill Mr. B right now if you'd prefer."
Raven yelled "You bastard!" at Jack, who was already transformed into vengeance.
Tai and Summer were walking their way to Beacon and saw what was going on.
"Qrow" Tai said worriedly
Summer and Tai rushed over with Ruby crying, "Mom! Dad!"
Summer pointed her bow and arrow at Jack and said, "Let him go."
Jack refused to let Qrow go
The situation is now becoming dire
With the police now surrounding the area, they tried pleading with Jack, but that didn't work.
Jack then takes out his weapon known as Firestarter. He puts his finger on the trigger, takes a deep breath, and says, "I am sorry." Then, he pulls the trigger, and Qrow's now dead body hits the ground.
Ruby is now angry. She charges at Jack without saying a word, pulls out Crescent Rose, and tries to slash him several times but misses each time.
With Yang and Raven looking in disbelief that her brother and uncle are dead.
Neo pulls out her weapon, which is an umbrella with a gun-like end. She rushes in to help Ruby but is stopped by Yang.
Jack then takes out Ragnarok and slashes Ruby's cloak, destroying it. This reveals that Ruby is crying and fighting at the same time.
Jack then proceeds to use a new semblance, revealing to everyone that he can create semblances out of rage. This new semblance is called "Shadow trail," letting him go invisible during battle.
He uses his semblance on Ruby, who then gets confused very quickly. She tries using her petal Burst but misses.
Neo is getting more worried about Ruby rushing in, ignoring Yang's attempts to stop her.
Jack then reappears behind Raven, getting ready to kill her, but she dodges the attack and rolls to the side.
Jack is now overwhelmed by Raven, Neo, and Ruby. He flees the fight injured when Raven slashes him in the back, but it is not a fatal wound.
Chapter 6 Some time has passed since Qrow's death,
After the funeral for Uncle Qrow, Ruby and her family went back to their house on Patch Island, where Ruby spent most of her childhood. Still feeling upset over her uncle's death, she stormed upstairs and shut her bedroom door angrily.
This causes Yang and Summer to worry even more, with Neo coming to visit Ruby
Neo knocked on the Xiao Long Rose family house door, and Summer answered, "Hello, Neo. What do you need?" Neo responded with a text that said, "I've been wanting to visit Ruby for some time now and comfort her. I feel bad that I couldn't do more during the fight." Summer smiled gently and welcomed Neo in, along with Cinder.
Cinder has a new outfit with a tank top that is red and black, and pants that are long with fire stripes on the legs. Neo also has a new outfit with a pink jacket and brown jeans.
Neo and Cinder both walk up to Ruby's room, but Ruby immediately yells, "Go away!"
Neo with a frown face says with speech to text on her scroll, "It's me, Neo. Can you let Cinder and me in?"
Ruby gets off her bed, opens the door, and hugs Neo while crying.
Neo and Cinder both sit on Ruby's bed
With Ruby looking at Cinder's new short hair, she blushes while there are still tears going down her face.
Cinder then asks Ruby, "Are you okay?"
Ruby then responded with "I will be. I just need time."
Cinder now looks at Ruby and says, "I noticed you've been staring at me since I walked in. You clearly want to ask me something?"
Ruby and Neo blushed so hard that their faces turned red.
Ruby finally asks Cinder, "Can I have a kiss, Cinder?"
Cinder, rubbing her hand in her hair, blushes and says
"you may"
Neo goes over to the door to lock it so that no one comes in
Cinder puts herself closer to Ruby and comes in for a kiss. She puts her hands on Ruby's head and rubs her gently. Neo comes from behind Ruby and kisses her on the shoulder.
Cinder takes off her tank top, making Ruby blush even harder. Neo then takes off her pink jacket. Ruby goes in for another kiss on Cinder's lips, and Cinder makes a slight moan.
Neo takes off Ruby's skirt, which makes Ruby blush again. Neo uses her scroll to say, "May I?" Ruby nods in agreement.
Cinder is on top of Ruby kissing her and Neo is on the bottom of Ruby kissing her shoulder.
Some hours went by and they were lying in Ruby's bed, snuggling each other. Summer walked up the stairs to check on Ruby, she knocked on the door, and all three women jumped up and put their clothes on. Ruby opened the door and said,
"I'm feeling a little better thanks to Cinder and Neo."
Summer being a mom and all knew exactly what Ruby and cinder and Neo did and laughed a bit. Ruby feeling embarrassed, hugged her mom as all of them went down for dinner that night.
Chapter 7
Back at Jack's hiding place, feeling guilty for killing Qrow, Jack pulled out a big flask of alcohol and started drinking it. For some reason, he wanted to kill Qrow, and that's what he trained for, but he still feels guilty about doing it, even though he's killed in the past.
Jack later goes out for a walk in the woods since he now lives in Vale. He has his weapons just in case.
He later sees Ruby and her team and parents taking a walk since they went back to Beacon for the next semester.
Jack now cautious, jumps up to a nearby tree to avoid detection from them but with Blake being a cat faunus was able to hear him jump up to the tree, Blake turns around to Ruby and asks
"Hey, Ruby, did you hear someone jump into a tree?"
Ruby looked confused and shook her head.
Yang looks around and sees Jack in the tree and yells
"You!"
Everyone runs to Yang's location. Jack jumps down, looking at Summer, Tai, and Ruby, and Yang. Tai sees Jack holding an alcohol bottle in his right hand and his weapon in his left, holding it to his head.
Tai looked concerned even though he killed his brother-in-law. Tai asked.
"What are you looking to do with that gun?"
Summer and Ruby are looking at Tai, wondering why he's concerned about Jack.
Jack responded with
"I've done a terrible thing. I've killed in the past and thought nothing of it, but after killing Qrow Branwen, it affected me more than it should have."
Tai responded with,
"I don't know if I can ever forgive you for what you did, but I don't want to see you like this. I know why you want to kill me and my former teammates, but if there's anything I can do to help you grieve the loss of your family years ago, I will help."
Yang and Ruby are now angry at their dad for saying that Ruby responded with
"Why would you help him, dad? He killed uncle Qrow!"
Yang nodded in agreement with Ruby
Blake and Weiss didn't say anything
Summer said to Jack
"If there's anything we can do to help you, Jack, please let us know. We don't want to fear for our lives anymore because of you wanting to kill us."
Jack took a moment to think,
He took out Ragnarok and Firestarter and threw them near Tai. He took out the Vengeance Driver and threw it to Summer.
Oz, wondering what's taking Ruby and the others so long, runs to their location and sees Jack surrendering his weapons.
Jack finally said to Tai,
"I know there's no forgiveness for what I've done to you and your kids, but I'm willing to accept help from wherever you put me in, Miss Xiao Long and Miss Rose. You are rightfully angry at me, and I understand that I killed someone close to you. If you want to kill me out of revenge, then I understand."
Ruby looked and jack and responded with
"I'm not gonna kill you, that's now how I work I'm not gonna become a murderer."
Yang responded with
" I'd very much want the chance to fight you but I'd want that fight to be fair and square."
Tai, Summer , and Ozpin smiled at Jack.
Jack returned himself to the police with Oz and Tai with the police captain there surprised that he was the former vigilante.
The captain said to Jack
"I know you were a police officer at the young age of 23 years ago, but I would never have thought that a former officer would be the deadly vigilante known as vengeance."
Jack responded with
"I'll face whatever punishment you assign to me"
The captain nodded
Jack was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
Chapter 8
Now facing his first year of prison after a year since his initial sentence.
Jack was given his own cell to protect the other criminals in the prison, Jack had lost his freedom and could never leave the cell.
During the summer vacation of beacon academy Ruby and her team and Neo go visit her home on patch.
Summer and Tai welcome back their daughters for the weekend. Blake, Yang, and Weiss go to her room, while Neo and Ruby go to their room.
Neo and Ruby jumped into her bed and started snuggling, with Yang,Blake and Weiss playing a fighting game on their scrolls.
Tai said to Summer
" Me and Oz are gonna visit Jack later with Raven, are you gonna go or stay here with the girls?"
Summer responded with
"I'll stay here if you don't mind Tai"
Tai responded back with
"alright Summer i love you"
Summer smiled
Later that day, Tai and Oz went to visit the prison to check on Jack.
Jack sat on the chair in the meeting room, smiling.
Tai said to Jack
"how are you doing Jack?"
Jack responded with
"a bit better, but it'll take a long time to atone for what I did."
Back at Ruby's home, Neo and Ruby are lying in bed. Neo took out her scroll and typed "Could I have a kiss, Ruby?"
Ruby smiled and shook her head, "Yes".
Ruby kissed Neo and hugged her multi-colored pink and brown hair
Neo took off her jacket and Ruby's skirt as they continued kissing each other. Neo put her hand on Ruby's head and started to give her head rubbings.
Ruby smiled at Neo, and Neo smiled at her as they both went to sleep naked that night.
Back in Yang's room, Blake and Weiss are getting tired, so they go on Yang's bed. As the three of them get snuggled in, the scene is one of comfort and companionship.
Later, Tai returns home as Summer is already in bed. Tai walks in and lays down with his wife. Summer said, "Welcome home, baby."
chapter 9
Some months have gone by, and Jack's mental health is only getting worse by the day.
The vengeance driver is calling for Jack, and it is still hungry for revenge despite Jack's attempts to carry out his sentence.
Back at Oz's office, he is checking on the vengeance driver as it is locked in a cage. The driver manipulated Jack's mind to hunt for revenge. Ozpin looks at it and worries it might escape as it can have a mind of its own.
During the combat class in Glenda's classroom,
Team JNPR and Team CVFN are wondering when Team RWBY will come back from their vacation.
Jaune asks Pyrrha
"Hey, Pyrrha. When do you think Ruby and the others are going to come back?"
Pyrrha responded with
"I'm not sure, Jaune, but hopefully soon!"
Ren looked at Nora, asking if she's okay, and she responded back with
"Yes, Ren, I'm okay, just feeling a little down."
After class, the teams went back to their dorms for the night, expecting to meet Ruby and the others for lunch tomorrow.
At the prison, Jack is getting more and more anxious. His eyes have somehow turned a different color, reflecting the color of his driver, black and red. The prison's psychologist goes to talk to Jack as he's worried about him. He enters Jack's cell with the two prison guards and asks Jack.
"Are you okay, Mr. Ramirez?"
Jack slowly wakes up and sees the psychologist and responds with
"Where am I?"
The psychologist looks at Jack worriedly and sees his eyes have changed color. The psychologist later says to the two guards.
"Take Jack to the examination room. I want to see why his eyes have changed."
The two guards tried to take Jack off his bed in his cell, but Jack refused and started fighting the two guards.
The first guard pulls out his prison-issued taser, but Jack goes down and does a sweep kick on the guard, which makes the first guard go down on the floor and crack open his skull. The second guard takes out his melee weapon to try to subdue Jack, but Jack disarms the guard by choking him.
Jack runs out of his cell, and the other prisoners cheer him on as he tries to escape the prison.
Jack exits the prison and goes onto the courtyard where a bunch of prison gaurds are awaiting him the captain yells.
"Jack Ramirez! Return to your cell or we will open fire!"
Jack looks at his surroundings. The vengeance driver is trying to break free from its prison. Back at Beacon Academy, Oz looks at the driver's cage with Glenda and senses something is wrong with Jack. He calls Tai, and the two rush to the prison.
Jack then yells as his semblance activates and eyes glow, "Vengeance, driver, come to me!"
The vengeance driver appears on Jack's waist, and Jack screams in pain.
Oz and Tai run in to see Jack transformed with worried looks on their faces
"Jack!" Oz and Tai yelled
Jack later screamed
"Tai! Oz! I need help!"
Jack then does an attack that leaves the guards injured and Tai and Ozpin seriously injured.
With Tai and Ozpin injured, they call Summer and her team to help.
Jack then goes to Oz and says, "I'm sorry, the diver is manipulating me, I can't stop it." Jack then takes out Ragnarok and kills Professor Ozpin, with Tai yelling.
With Oz's body disappearing and Oz's soul going into a like-minded person, Tai is left dumbfounded that his friend is now killed.
chapter 10
After Oz's death, Ruby and her allies meet at Beacon to discuss Jack and how they can stop him, since he's clearly being manipulated by the Driver.
Ruby asks her dad
"Are you okay, Dad?"
Tai wasn't saying a word as Summer hugged him.
Neo took out her scroll and typed to Ruby
"Do you think Jack will up his game and destroy all the kingdoms together?"
Ruby typed back.
"I honestly don't know, Neo."
Two new people walked through the former Oz's office doors: a man wearing a white military jacket with a tie in the middle and blue jeans. The man had a short-cut hairstyle.
And a woman with the same outfit, but for females, she had white hair styled in a ponytail with the left side of her eye covered up
The tall man introduced himself as James Ironwood, and the woman was Winter Schnee.
"Winter?" Weiss said in confusion as Winter responded.
"Hello, sister."
"what are you doing here" Weiss replied
Winter reasons with
"It seems your vengeance problem hasn't been taken care of, and there's no excuse for how he escaped a maximum-security prison. We're here to arrest Jack Ramirez and take him to Atlas."
Ruby responded back, surprising her father and mother.
"no"
"Excuse me?" Winter barked
Ruby then said
"Jack may have killed Professor Ozpin and Uncle Qrow, but if my dad isn't willing to give up on him, then neither am I."
Now, with Jack being controlled by his own weapon, he takes it upon himself to destroy it by any means necessary.
He travels to the kingdom known as Menagerie, where the Faunus live freely.
Upon arriving in the kingdom, he is greeted by Kali and Ghira, Blake's parents.
kali says to Jack,
"Hello again, Jack. What are you doing here in Menagerie?"
Jack is still being controlled by the driver and is unconscious.
Jack takes out Ragnarok and unleashes a devastating attack on the home and Blake's parents, leaving them to die.
He then walks out and kills the incoming guards. The other Faunus come out of their homes to see what is happening, only to be left in horror at the sight they are seeing.
The first faunus comes out of his home. The faunus named Sun Wukong asks Jack.
"What the hell are you doing attacking our homes, killing our leaders?"
Jack responded to Sun by saying
"I am not in control of my body; the vengeance driver is, but that doesn't excuse the actions I'm about to make."
Sun looks confused, doesn't understand what Jack has said.
Jack then walked to the docks of menagerie, put his hand out and unleashed a devastating fire attack from his armor which left menagerie destroyed in its wake.
Back at Beacon Academy, Ruby and her team had made it back for the next semester, but Blake soon gets a call that will forever change her.
Blake's scroll started to ring as she picked it up. It was General Ironwood calling her.
Blake picked up her scroll and said
"what do you need general ironwood?" blake
responded with.
ironwood said to blake
"my deepest condolences to you, Miss Belladonna. But your home kingdom of Menagerie has been destroyed. We searched the area for survivors but sadly didn't find anyone."
Blake took a moment to process what was just said to her. While Ruby and the others were already in their dorm, Blake dropped her scroll and fell to the ground, sobbing.
Ruby, Yang, and Weiss are wondering what is taking Blake so long, and with Blake coming into the dorm still sobbing.
Everyone looked at Blake with Yang saying
"What happened, Blake? Do you need a hug?"
Blake looked at Yang and responded with
"Jack has the vengeance driver again and destroyed my home, the faunus living in Menagerie, and my parents.
Everyone looked at Blake again as they went in for a group hug, trying to comfort her. Team JNPR heard Blake crying and walked in with Ruby, telling them what happened, and they also joined the group hug.
Now at the hospital, Tai is recovering from his attack by Jack.
Summer called her daughters to tell them what happened to their father, and they left immediately. Weiss and Blake stayed behind so Weiss could comfort Summer more.
Ruby and Yang are now at the hospital to visit their father. Tai seems different; he's angry.
Ruby asks her father
"are you okay dad?"
Summer looked at Ruby
Tai responded with making a clear statement
"Jack is no longer redeemable. I'm going to track him down and finish the job."
Surprising everyone, with how their father is acting, Raven knocked on his door, and Summer welcomed her in. Raven gave her brother-in-law a hug.
chapter 11
Some months have gone by since the destruction of Menagerie and Oz's death.
It is Ruby's birthday tomorrow, and she is thrilled to turn 19.
Yang has officially moved out of her parents' house and has moved in with Blake in Vale, building their own home with their wedding shortly to come.
Ruby and Neo have been out shopping for clothes for her birthday dinner, which is taking place tonight.
Ruby picks out this nice Red and White dress and shows it to Neo and asks
"What about this, Neo?"
Neo nodded in excitement.
Neo then goes around looking for a dress as well and notices Cinder in the same store. She then grabs Ruby and runs over to Cinder, greeting the two women.
Cinder askes Neo and Ruby
"How have you two been doing? Sorry, I haven't called lately; my job has kept me away."
Ruby said in response.
"We are doing okay! Neo and I are officially a couple now! We were actually getting dresses for my birthday dinner tonight, would you want to come?"
Cinder said "back" to Ruby
"Sorry, Rubes. I'm actually very busy at the moment with work. I've been hired to look for Jack Ramirez. However, Mercury and Emerald aren't busy, and maybe they could go."
Ruby shook her head in excitement.
now in Mercury's apartment in Atlas.
he has woken up to do his job for the day.
But after he went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror, he heard a voice that said
"Hello, Mr. Black."
Mercury jumped from the toilet and screamed
"what the hell?"
Ozpin explained to Mercury.
"So, Mr. Black, you have been chosen as my next host due to like-minded ideals. Don't be afraid."
Mercury just shook his head.
During the dinner with Ruby's family and friends, Ruby talked about how she wanted to move with Neo to somewhere nice and quiet.
Summer said to her daughter, "Would you want help looking for a house?"
Ruby then responded with
"Nope! We should be okay!"
Weiss said to Ruby
"I'm glad you finally found a partner! Maybe tomorrow we can all go out and do something since it's been a crazy couple of years."
Blake and Yang agreed with Weiss.
Tai is leaving his family to look for Jack, as he is following his footsteps to track him down
chapter 12
with Tai leaving his wife and family in patch he is wearing new clothes a red hood to remind him of Summer and a new sword weapon to help him fight jack when the final battle comes.
Summer has been looking for Tai around the house but couldn't find him. She later yelled to Ruby.
"Hey, Ruby! Have you seen your father?"
"Nope!" Ruby said to her mother
later Summer finds a letter on Tai's desk that reads,
"Sorry for leaving so soon, Summer. But I must put a stop to Jack, no matter the cost. That's why I left without telling you, or Ruby and Yang. I didn't want you to worry, so don't bother trying to look for me."
After Summer read the letter, she went to the floor, holding the letter, quietly sobbing that her husband had left.
Later, Summer told Ruby what happened, and Ruby started to tear up, with Neo hugging her.
Blake and Yang are now at their home, with Yang cutting her hair into a bob cut similar to Blake's.
Blake then walks over to Yang and starts to give her a kiss on the lips, with Yang smiling back and saying
"Oh? You want to do this now?"
Yang then picked up Blake onto her arms and started kissing her on the lips. The two went onto the couch and started to make out.
Then, Yang rubs Blake's cat ears, and Blake blushes.
later the two jump up as they heard of strange noise coming from the outside of their house
"What was that?" Yang said, concerned.
Blake replied with
"I don't know, let's check it out."
The two women walk over to the noise and see a lost child.
Later, Weiss returns to Atlas to take over the SDC company, but only to find it covered in flames, with Jack standing there with Ragnarok in hand.
Weiss yelled
"What have you done to my family and company!"
Jack responded with
"They were part of the problem, which is why so many people are suffering!"
Weiss, now visibly angry, charges at Jack with her signature weapon in hand, called "Myrtenaster". She puts ice dust into it and launches it at Jack, who dodges the attack.
Jack then said
"I don't want to kill you, but I'll continue my mission."
Weiss said
"You need to let your petty quest for revenge go! What Team STRQ did years ago is in the past!"
Jack didn't say anything except that he plunged himself over to Weiss with Ragnarok in hand and sliced off her head.
Ironwood and Winter are running to see what the explosion was, and they see Weiss's dead body on the ground.
Winter and Ironwood then charged at Jack, who was seemingly powered up from Weiss's death, and killed both of them with ease.
Jack then proceeds to destroy Atlas.
chapter 13
with three kingdoms still left Tai is still looking for Jack, everyone is on edge wondering which kingdoms are gonna fall next
After the funeral was held for the schnee family and Ironwood, everyone went home.
Blake and Yang are already married, Ruby and Neo are still looking for a house.
Summer is living with Raven now in Vale, as she's sold the house in Patch.
Ruby is noticeably upset that Weiss is dead, and Neo tries to comfort her by hugging her and reassuring her that everything is going to be okay.
Ruby then looks at Neo, asking for a kiss, with Neo nodding yes.
Neo then goes in for a kiss by gently holding Ruby's hand with his right hand and holding her head with his left hand. The two kiss for a while, and then eventually go to sleep in their apartment.
Jack is now back in his home kingdom, looking to destroy it, as he is now fully taken over by the vengeance driver.
As the police recognize Jack, since he is still in his suit, they all line up in front of him, with the police captain of Vaco saying.
"Jack, please surrender! It's for your own good!"
Jack refuses. Then he jumps up in the air to do a new move called "kick down," in which he goes up in the air to do a striking kick on the ground, unleashing a devastating attack.
As the police officers in the surrounding area are killed, the kingdom of Vacou is, unfortunately, no longer the only two kingdoms that remain are Vale and Mistrel.
chapter 14
As Jack is heading to the mistrel, he is met with resistance by the local police and huntsmen in the area. He shakes them off by killing anyone in his path, and he has turned even more ruthless than before.
Jack's soul and mind are now tied to the driver as he can no longer control his own body
Raven and Summer head to the mistrel to try and stop Jack, with Raven yelling to Jack.
"Stop or we will kill you without hesitation! You had our sympathy before, but not anymore."
Jack, not reading his surroundings, rushes in with him stabbing raven without her noticing until the last second.
Summer screamed as her sister in law is killed and her body drops to the ground.
With Summer not feeling the fight within her anymore, she sadly takes her own life.
Without anyone to stop him, Jack destroyed the mistral.
With Ruby and Yang getting notified about their mother's death, they come together with their allies to once and for all stop Jack.
Ruby said to her allies
"We need to find a way to stop Jack without killing him. There will be no killing anyone."
Yang responded with
"But he's already destroyed 4 kingdoms, and Vale is all that's left. What other choice do we have but not to kill him?"
Oz taking over Mercury's body says in return
"without knowing Tai's location we cant do anything, we need to make sure hes safe"
Mercury gaining control of his body again says angrily
"Next time you take control of my body, give me a fucking heads up, would you?"
Everyone is shocked that Oz reincarnated into Mercury.
Ruby says
"Alright, here's the plan: Neo and I will surprise him with a small assault, Blake and my sister will go in with a bang, Mercury, Cinder, and Emerald will wait as backup.
FINAL CHAPTER
As Jack approaches Vale, he runs into Tai. As the two meet on a mountain,
Tai said angrily
"Do you know how long I've been looking for you? How many months? Days? Seconds?"
Jack doesn't say anything as he takes off his suit, throwing his weapons on the ground, Tai doing the same
the two getting ready to fight to the death only one can remain.
Tai goes in for a punch, Jack does a dodge roll to the side and a sweep kick.
The kick knocked Tai off balance, but he remains.
Ruby and the others hear fighting and rush to it. Ruby sees her father fight Jack. Everyone watches to see who comes out on top.
Tai makes Jack go on edge with him doing a finisher that his father only taught him. This knocks Jack unconscious.
Tai goes in and strikes Jack multiple times, with him showing no sign of stopping. Ruby rushes in to stop her father from taking a life.
Tai refuses to listen to Ruby's voice and he starts choking Jack. With Jack gaining consciousness again, he takes Ragnarok and stabs Tai. Tai uses his weapon to stab Jack, and both die in the process.
With both bodies disappearing, Ruby and Yang run to their father, who is losing his life. He says to his daughters, "you must leave here immediately."
"Please rebuild the kingdoms. Do not seek revenge like I did, for it only cost me and Jack nothing but pain. I love you two so much, remember that."
Ruby and Yang have now started to sob, with Neo and Blake hugging both of them respectfully.
After the battle ended, the two parties went their separate ways, with Blake and Yang going to rebuild Menagerie, and Ruby and Neo with the other kingdoms.
epilogue chapter
Years after the final battle on the mountain, the kingdoms have been rebuilt. Neo and Ruby are the leaders of Vale and Atlas, and Yang and Blake are the leaders of Menagerie and Vacuo.
Ruby and Neo are now married with two kids
