"Excellent work, Maddie."

"I have a good teacher." She smiles behind her Blue ranger helmet holding the blue ribbon tied broom in her hands.

The Solaris Knight quickly glances back down the line of the other Mystic Rangers.

He smirks behind his helmet at how Chip got Vida into a mock broom fight. Nick and Xander seem to aimlessly chat about work at the Rock Porium.

Finally eyes on him, the Solaris Knight refocuses on the Blue Mystic. "Alright classes dismissed." Immediately using his magic they all teleported back inside Rootcore to normal size, and powered down.

Xander gets tackled in a hug by Clare. He smiles down at the shorter blonde happily embracing his left arm. He kisses the top of her head.

Chip/Vida to no one's suprise is making out. Nick fondly rolls his eyes at the team's affection. Yet looking to Maddie (whom longingly stares at Daggeron) chatting with Udonna) has the opposite effect on the Red leader.

"Um mom, we told Toby once class was over we'd show up." Nick states long enough for his team to here.

The redhead woma smiles nodding, "Of course, please don't let us hold you."

"Oh I packed us lunch!" Clare suddenly shouts enthusiastically! Magically materializing a picnic basket into Xander's unexpected hands. The Green Mystic again kisses her head.

"Nice spell, Clare." Chip grins, high fiving the blonde. Vida smiles kissing Chip's left cheek.

Before anyone says anything Clare smiles sheepishly. "Oh and don't worry, Udonna made everything."

She informs them, Vida places her left hand atop Clare's right shoulder the moment Xander releases her from another hug. The Pink mystic smirks friendly, "Hey we all need practice. Besides I know you help Xander the Great here with his wacky spells."

The DJ's smug wotds get the whole room laughing. Xander glares at Vida yet with a kiss from Clare, he finally crackes a smile.

Chip/Vida had explained to Toby, the gang's usual lateness. Tho of course their boss knew their crazy lives. So let them have a few more hours off, sadly he declined their picnic offer. Claiming he was fasting again, so no food trying to cleanse his body/mind.

Even with Vida physically showing the gang's fun spot in the park didn't change his mind. Still he wishes them a great time. Chip did have to stop him from eating a record on their way outbhe door.

"I'm glad you decided to come with us." Maddie shyly states to Daggeron, both eating a sandwich he had cut in half.

He smiles softly at her, "As am I, my Lady." About to take a sip of apple juice, Clare clumsy drops the freebie she, Nick, Xander and Udonna.

She giggles embarrassed, Xander winks at her. "No problem Clare." Nick states to his cousin as they resume playing, the moment she throws the freebie towards her aunt Udonna. Whom surprisedly catches and throws it with great accuracy for one whom doesn't like doing things the human way. Nick catches it smiling, "Nice serve Mom."

Back with Maddie, her big ebony eyes glance at Daggeron whom smiles relaxed. No evil magic attack nor training, he glances around at their surrogate family, their team just having a good nice time.

"Um, I got you- well Udonna told me it's your birthday. I guess, you didn't want us to know for some reason. But um, I couldn't help it." During her nervousness pulling a wrapped in a blue ribbon a white bo concealed thin box, she never noticed Daggeron smiling so sweetly at her.

"I haven't celebrated in centuries," He gently chuckles calming Maddie's shyness greatly. "Right here, this is a amazing."

She blushes offering the gift, Daggeron nods politely taking it. Their hands linger on touching, he opens the gift to reveal a blue tear drop pendent on a plain gold chain, it rest on the cover of a book.

"The Princess and the Frog." Daggeron reads curiously, yet he smiles at Maddie. "Yeah, it's a little childish but it's based on a Disney movie. I actually liked it, even with the two leads being frogs for most of the movie." She glances into Daggeron's kind wise dark brown eyes.

"But I'm not scared of frogs anymore."

"For that and the gifts, I'm thankful, My Lady." Daggeron reaches for her left hand, gently kissing it.

First Author's Note: My (poor) attempt with the time period. I LOVE Daggeron/Madison but even if the age gap isn't stated it's obvious.

Second Author's Note: Discovering John Tu actually voiced SPD's Commander Anubis "Doggie" Cruger a year before Mystic Force, would have done a one-shot for that. But sadly time wasn't on my side.
