Blanket of Buttercups

The gardens were unlike anything Serenity had seen before, and it was wonderful of Téa to take her to such a place for the day. Serenity heard so much about the new flowers in bloom; Téa knew she had to take her there.
They had walked all over the place, seeing the vast variety of plants, trees, and flowers for the public to see. There were roses, sunflowers, wild lupine, zinnias, and marigolds, and much, much more to watch, study, and to learn.
A bright shade of yellow caught Serenity's attention, and she tugged on Téa's shirt sleeve, pointing to the lovely sight.
"Whoa, these are just beautiful." Téa said aloud, standing next to Serenity, as they gazed upon the golden-yellow flowers, fully blossomed. "What do you think these are?"
Serenity noticed the plaque in front of the flowers, and she read it. "It says that they're ranunculus flowers, and they're also known as buttercups. "
"Oh yeah, I've heard of those type of flowers, but I haven't seen them so up close before." Téa replied.
"Well, we have now." Serenity said aloud.
They admired the sight of the flowers for a little while longer, and Serenity let out a sigh.
"Téa?"
"Yeah?"
"I'm glad I'm here, with you."
"I'm glad you're here too."
Téa and Serenity looked away from the buttercups. Then they walked together to see what more was out there, in the gardens and even beyond.
