"Making their way to the ring, representing the Judgement Day: Elaina Nix, and Women's World Champion, Rhea Ripley!"
Juliet stood at the top of the entrance ramp, a smug look on her face. Meanwhile, she'd be surprised if her partner's frown wasn't permanently etched on her face. She looked up at Rhea, who quickly began stomping down the ramp toward the ring, completely ignoring her.
Juliet simply rolled her eyes and walked down the ramp.
Although their opponents – Kayden Carter and Katana Chance – were half the size of the champion, they were beginning to overpower her.
And it was because she refused to tag Juliet in.
Rhea was in the middle of the ring, struggling to get up after Kayden hit her with a dropkick. She made no move to try tagging her partner in, instead standing on wobbly feet and attempting to clothesline Kayden.
Kayden ducked out of the way, and when Rhea turned around, and hit her with a hurricanrana, sending her into the corner. Into Juliet's corner.
Juliet quickly hung over the top rope and tapped Rhea's shoulder, tagging herself in. Rhea, sitting in the corner, glared at Juliet as she stepped into the ring.
"And Elaina tags herself in, finally getting the chance to, well, wrestle!" Michael Cole exclaims. "Rhea hasn't tagged her in once this whole match. I don't think she's even looked over at her."
"Well, Rhea is champion," Corey Graves argued, "and she probably didn't want to risk losing because her new friend wanted the spotlight for herself. Rhea knew she could get the job done herself."
Juliet wasted no time, running straight toward Kayden and hitting a clothesline. Kayden hit the mat, though not so quickly. Juliet hit another clothesline, then another, then another.
After the last one, Kayden stayed down slightly longer. Juliet smirked, then hit a leg drop, causing Kayden to groan. Juliet let out a deep breath, then she walked over to one of the corners and climbed to the top rope.
She looked down at Kayden, but when she saw movement from the corner of her eye, she turned and saw Rhea had jumped off the apron and begun walking away. She frowned, looked at Kayden, and did what she climbed up there to do: hit a 450 splash. Instead of pinning her opponent, though, she slid out of the ring.
Juliet ran up to Rhea, grabbing her arm. Rhea spun around to glare at her.
"What are you doing?" Juliet asked, incredulously.
"I don't have to answer to you," Rhea snarled.
"I don't care if you don't like me, but don't just walk out on our match," Juliet said.
"Or what?" Rhea spat, getting closer to her.
Suddenly, the bell rang. The two women looked over and realized they had been counted out.
They had lost.
"Ha!" Rhea said.
Juliet shoved Rhea. "What's your problem?"
"My problem?" Rhea asked. "We just lost this match because of you. I don't think I'm the problem."
"I wouldn't have been counted out if you hadn't been such a little bitch, throwing a tantrum and – "
Before Juliet could finish speaking, Rhea roughly shoved her, causing her to almost fall. She kept her balance, though, and pushed Rhea back. Rhea was probably going to shove her again, but at this point, Dominik and Damian had come out, and Dom had grabbed Rhea's arm.
She turned around, and when she saw her boyfriend, she said, "Let's go."
The two of them stormed off. Damian looked over at Juliet, who looked full of adrenaline and ready to fight. He just shrugged and shook his head, and they also walked off.
Once backstage, Juliet heard Finn say, "You did great!"
She looked around, and she quickly spotted him not that far, standing with Rhea and Dominik. She walked over to the group, Damian following close behind.
"I know, I know, I was amazing," Juliet joked. Rhea frowned but kept her mouth shut.
Dom glanced at Rhea, then looked back at Juliet. "Can't you keep your arrogance to yourself? Just once?"
He and Rhea stormed off, and Juliet was so shocked, she didn't know what to say. She knew that Rhea wasn't that big a fan of hers, but she didn't realize that Dominik felt the same way.
But of course he did. He was going to feel however Rhea felt. She knew who wore the pants in that relationship, even if it was just an on-screen one.
"Hey, don't listen to them," Finn said, "you were great."
"Yeah, you were," Damian agreed. "I didn't get to catch much of your NXT stuff, but based on what you did out there, you've got a real knack for the character stuff. Keep it up, you'll win that title from Rhea in no time."
"Don't let her hear you say that…" she mumbled.
"I'm going to look for Rhea," Finn said. "And Dom. They have to cut this shit out if we're going to be a team."
He walked off.
Juliet looked at Damian.
"Thanks for not hating me, by the way," she said.
He laughed. "What?"
"This team seems very divided when it comes to me," she said. "Half of you hate me, but the other half like me. And one of them is my boyfriend, so his opinion doesn't really matter in all of this. You haven't hated me since the moment I got here, so I just wanted to thank you."
He chuckled. "It's just called being a decent person. I'm sorry those other two weren't raised correctly."
Out of the corner of her eye, down the hall, Juliet spotted Damage CTRL.
"Hey, I'll see you around," she told Damian, who simply nodded.
Juliet walked down the hall, approaching the group. Bayley and Iyo glared at her, while Dakota seemed to be a little uncomfortable.
"Hey, Juliet…" she said, her voice getting quieter with each syllable.
"Hey, Kota," she said, "are you free this week?"
Dakota looked back at her partners. Bayley was definitely trying to convey some kind of message with her eyes, while Iyo was more straightforward, furiously shaking her head.
"No, sorry, I think I've got plans all week with these guys," Dakota replied, pointing back at her friends.
"All week?"
"Hey, you heard her," Bayley interjected. "She's busy. Sorry 'bout it."
Bayley grabbed Dakota by the shoulders, spinning her around, and the three of them walked away. Iyo turned back around, glaring daggers at her.
Juliet frowned, looking away from them. "Oh, okay…"
When she looked back up, Dakota was looking back at her apologetically.
