Happy birthday, Eddie!

In the jungle, Dillon and his fellow campers trudged through the jungle to find some help while avoiding from Indominus Rex.

"Ah!" Ben yelped.

"Ah!" They shrieked as they looked backed.

"Sorry, I stepped on a twig." He sighed.

"Ugh, come on, man." Yasmina sighed.

"You done gave me a heart attack!" Sammy said.

"Don't ever do that!" Dillon said.

"I should step on you." Kenji said.

"It's okay, Ben." Darius said. "We're all on edge."

"And lost." Yasmina added.

"Yeah, we've been out here for a while now." Sammy said before turning to Darius. "Darius, we sure we're still headed towards the park?"

"Well, we'd be sure if I still had my phone, because it has a GPS, a compass app, and is also a phone!" Brooklynn said, still angry at Sammy.

"Sammy didn't steal your phone!" Yasmina said, "No one stole your phone! Can we please stop talking about the phone?"

"You guys! You guys, you guys, you guys. Could you all yell at each other quieter, please?" Ben said, quieter.

"Yeah, we're trying to avoid being attacked by Indominus Rex." Dillon said.

"My fellow campers, chill!" Kenji said. "What we need here is someone who can make the hard call on what to do next."

He approached Darius.

"Since I'm obviously leadership material... I'll do this. And my first decree as leader is for everyone to stop talking and just listen to Darius."

"Huh?" He said.

"You got us out of camp alive. Plus, I can blame you if anybody gets eaten. Leadership." Kenji said, "So, which way, Darius?"

Darius was a little loss in thought before facing away.

"Please, you're just trying to cover up the fact that you're lost, too, Mr. VIP." Brooklynn said. "None of us know where we are."

"I know where we are!" Darius blurted out.

"You do?" Dillon questioned.

"Yeah, we're by the Carnotaurus paddock!" He ran off. "I thought this place looked familiar."

"Am I an excellent leader or what?" Kenji said before following him.

They brushed out of the long grass.

"I remember the fence."

When they come across it, they see the broken fence.

"The broken, ripped-down fence."

"That means... That means Toro is out here... with us." Ben panted, heavily.

"Now we have to deal with the Indominus and Toro." Darius said but realized when Ben said Toro. "Hold up. How do you know about Toro?"

"We all know. Kenji told us, like, the day after it happened." Yasmina said, brush pass them.

"Which explains why you and Kenji came back, feeling tired after hurrying back." Dillon added.

"In my defense, me saving you was super cool." Kenji bragged when Darius gave him a disapproval look.

"We know this enclosure is due north of the main park." Darius said, "So, if we keep going that way, we'll hit the visitors' center. We're sure to find Dave and Roxie, or someone else there in charge."

"Yes! Exactly what I was thinking, as leader, which I am. Follow me!"

They follow Kenji, hoping that they don't run into two large predators.

The group keeps following the fence until they come across a dead Ankylosaurus and a wreaked Gyrosphere.

"The Indominus rex was here." Brooklynn said.

"Predators don't kill prey and then just leave without feeding. This... this isn't right." Darius said, examining the body.

"Then I don't think we're not dealing with normal dinosaur." Dillon said.

As they examine the dead Ankylosaurus, they heard a growling sound from the long grass. The kids took cover by hiding behind the Gyrosphere, inside it, or behind the trees. They breathed in for suspense until they flinched when something jumps out of the tall grass. Dillon peeked behind the Gyrosphere with Sammy.

"Huh, a baby Ankylosaurus?" He muttered.

"Bumpy!" Ben cried, got out and hugged the baby dinosaur.

"And drooly, and smelly. How do you even know that's the same dinosaur?" Kenji questioned.

"Her big head bump. Dr. Wu said she's asymmetrical, but he's wrong that it's bad." Ben explained, "And so what if she is asymmetrical? There's nothing wrong with being different, or bumpy, or getting tired after reading an overly thrilling book! And maybe if her parents had listened to her, she wouldn't have come here, and gotten attacked!"

"Are we still talking about the dinosaur? Feels like we're not still talking about the dinosaur." Yasmina asked Sammy.

"As fun as this reunion is, shouldn't we keep moving south?" Kenji said.

"I'm not spending another hour walking through the jungle, hoping that we don't run into that Indominus." Brooklynn exclaimed. "We need a new plan."

"Uh, yeah, obviously we need a new plan. So, I had Darius figure out a new one. Lay it on us, bro."

"Okay. So, uh... we need to find somewhere safe close by. If camp is that way, and the park is that way..." Darius then gasped at realization, "Isn't Dr. Wu's field genetics lab near here? You guys went on the tour. Does this area look familiar?"

"Um... Yeah. Y-Yeah." Sammy stammered. "I think it might be over that way."

"That seems right." Yasmina agreed.

"I do recall that we pass by a sign that says 'research lab' when we were on a field trip. That will lead us to the right track." Dillon mentioned.

"Great! That's where we should go. There's bound to be an adult there who can help or tell us what to do." Darius said. "Right?"

They heard a faint roar from Indominus Rex.

"Fine, whatever! Let's just go to the lab." Brooklynn said, "As long as we are moving away from that."

"What about Bumpy?" Ben said.

"She's a dinosaur, bro. She belongs out here in the wild." Kenji said.

"And she'll just slow us down. We gotta go now." Yasmina added.

The group heads to Dr. Wu's genetic lab where they might get help from them.

"Let's pick it up, people!" Kenji said.

"Wait. Guys, where's Ben?" Darius called.

"Ben?" Dillon said.

They see Ben is behind and he was pulling something from the shrub. Yasmina clears her throat, getting his attention.

"Oh!" He yelps and pushed Bumpy back in the shrubs. "Hey! How's it hangin'... dudes?

"Ben, are you hiding Bumpy in that bush?" Darius asked.

They heard a soft bellowing sound.

"Nope. That could be anything. The jungle makes all sorts of weird noises."

Bumpy jumps out and knocks Ben over.

"How did she get here?"

"Really, Ben? We don't have time to babysit the dinosaur." Dillon exclaimed.

"He's right. There are dinosaurs eating people out here, and Bumpy can't keep up!" Yasmina said.

"She can move faster. Ankylosauruses run fast." Ben argued. "Right, Darius?"

"When they're fully grown, maybe, but she's just..."

Bumpy lies down.

"Wow! Yeah, total speed demon." Kenji remarked. "Say goodbye, Ben."

They turned around and leave.

"No!" They turned around to see Ben's stubborn look. "You say hello, because she is coming with us! So... there!"

"Ben, you're not thinking this through. Bumpy's too slow." Brooklynn said.

"Then... then we'll put her in the van!"

"Van?" Dillon questioned.

"What van?" Sammy scoffed.

"That one!" Ben pointed at the vacant van in his right.

"Oh, that van!" Dillon said.

They looked each other before head to the van and open the door.

"It's an ACU transport!" Kenji exclaimed. "Asset containment unit. Got the tour of their HQ; super hardcore dino-trapping security dudes."

"Then where are they?" Darius asked.

They wondered what happened to them since the van is empty.

"Is that a tablet?" Brooklynn spotted the tablet and grabbed it.

"What did they tell us? Oh, right." Sammy said, turning on the walkie. "Come on, channel six. Dave, Roxie! Can y'all hear us?"

She hears no response from them.

"And of course, this doesn't have communication enabled. Because you know what? Why would it? If I had my phone-" Brooklynn said.

"Enough already! There are bigger things going on here than your phone!" Darius snapped.

The tablet is beeping on something in the map.

"There's a map program with little moving dots on it."

"They chip all the dinosaurs electronically to track them. See? There's us, and there's..."

"Wait." Kenji said, notice something off about the map. "Here's the Brachiosaurus Grove on the map, so why are the Brachiosauruses way over there?

"I think maybe the fences are down. At least some of them."

They heard Bumpy's growling and squealing before Ben hops out of the van.

"Easy, girl."

Suddenly, they heard a loud footstep coming from the jungle.

"Guys? Something's coming this way."

"That's weird." Brooklynn noted on the map. "Whatever that is, it isn't showing up on the tablet."

"What kind of dinosaur wouldn't have a transponder?" Darius wondered.

"I am not in the mood to find out." Kenji said, uneased.

Bumpy continues to make noises.

"Ben, shut her up!" Yamina hissed.

"You gotta make it stop making noises!" Dillon told him, whispering.

They heard Indominus Rex's roar which sounded close.

"We gotta go now!" Darius yelped.

"Go! Go!" Brooklynn yelled.

"Move!"

They fastened their seatbelts as Ben took Bumpy inside with them. Darius realized that the van is not moving.

"Wait! Doesn't anyone know how to drive a van?"

"No, but we drove gyrospheres, right? It can't be that different." Sammy said.

"The gyrospheres had joysticks and a Jimmy Fallon tutorial." Ben pointed out, "I don't even have my learners permit!"

"I do!" Kenji hops in the driver seat. "Hands at ten and two-"

"Kenji, go, quickly!" They yelled as Kenji starts the engine and slam the acceleration, making the van go backward.

"Wrong way! Wrong way!" Ben yelled.

Kenji push the lever and drives forward as the Indominus Rex emerges and chases after the van.

"It's gaining! Go faster!" Sammy yelled.

"I can't!" Kenji said.

"You're in the wrong gear!" Yasmina said.

"Well, how do I shift gears?"

"How should I know?" Ben yelled.

Bumpy bellowed as the kids screamed while the dinosaur is getting closer. Kenji is making a left turn before the Indominus Rex bites it and still chasing them.

"It's coming!" Darius yelled.

"Step on that thing!" Sammy said.

"Zigzag!"

"Go faster!" Dillon said.

"Are you signaling?" Brooklynn yelled.

"Can everyone not yell at me while I'm saving our lives?" Kenji yelled while driving.

They see the Indominus Rex is getting closer at the rear doors.

"Drive!" Yasmina grabs the wheel and makes a sharp right turn.

They screamed as they fall over the steep hill and pass the sign. Kenji swerve around the tree as the dinosaur gives up chasing them. The van flies over and skid towards the tree and stops.

"At least we lost Indominus." Sammy panted.

"Now... where do we go?" Yasmina asked.

"How about into the genetics lab?" Ben said, pointing at the lab and they looked at him. "It's a gift."

They got out of the van and enter the lab, only to find the lab is empty.

"What?" Darius said, sees the birthday cake.

"A birthday cake?" Dillon said, "But where is everyone?"

Before anyone answers, something pops up behind it, scaring the kids as the light shines them.

"Not dinosaurs. You're not dinosaurs." Eddie sighed. "This is the worst birthday ever."

The kids sighed and help themselves with the birthday cake.

"Again, we are so happy we found you." Darius said, "Things are crazy! There's a giant camouflaged dinosaur out there. Also, regular dinosaurs. We've been hoping to find someone-"

"You're sure you closed the door behind you, right?" Eddie said while looking out the door.

"Uh... I think so."

"You think, or you know?"

Kenji belches. "Sorry? Did you want it back?"

"You know what? Doesn't matter. The dinosaurs got out and no one bothered to tell me; they just ran. So, why not? Knock yourself out."

Brooklynn tries calling the phone, but it doesn't work.

"Ugh! There's no dial tone!" She said.

"The landlines are down. So is the radio, and cell phone service keeps cutting out."

"But the park obviously has a plan. So, what's that plan? What do we do?" Darius asked.

"You're asking me?" Eddie laughed, hysterically, "Asking me?"

"Is that, like, a good freaky laugh?" Sammy asked.

'I don't think that's good freaky laugh, Sammy." Dillon said.

"Do you not get it? We're doomed. No one is coming to help!" Eddie said.

"But what about Dr. Wu, or-" Kenji asked.

"Wu? Who do you think is to blame? Wu got greedy. And instead of dinosaurs, he built monsters!" He gestures the egg incubation. "Masrani, Dearing, they're all clueless about what's really going on here. And after everything I did for the other guys..."

"Other guys?" Brooklynn questioned, "What other-"

"It doesn't matter, does it? Jurassic World isn't a park. It's a powder keg, and it is detonating all around us! We're all going down. End of story!"

"No, you have to know what to do. You're an adult!" Darius begged.

"Don't look at me. I was just hiding until you all barged in."

"Excuse me, we're trying to get away from Indominus Rex and we're trying to go find help." Dillon said.

"Yeah, But we drove all the way here 'cause-" Darius said.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! You have a vehicle?" Eddie left the lab.

"Guys, I left the keys in the van." Kenji mentioned.

They all left the lab to catch up to Eddie.

"Stop! What are you doing?" Darius said.

"Getting out of here alive!" Eddie said, getting in the van.

"But you can't leave us out here!" Dillon said.

Yasmina ran passed them to catch him, but tripped over Bumpy.

"Ow! Bumpy!" She gets up quickly and ran towards the van.

Eddie starts the engine drove away, but Yasmina catches up to the van until Indominus Rex appeared and headbutts the van away, making her slipped.

"Not that thing again!" Dillon said as the dinosaur attack the van and ate Eddie.

The kids ran away from it, but they came across the fence.

"What?" Kenji gasped.

"Come on, are you kidding me?" Darius said.

"Perfect! The park's only intact fence!"

They heard a roar from the white dinosaur and take cover behind the big rocks.

"I told you she'd get in the way! If it wasn't for her, I could have made the van." Yasmina said.

"And then you would have been eaten. Bumpy saved your life." Ben argued.

"Why couldn't you just leave her behind?"

"Because I won't abandon her like we were!"

"Ben's right. We're on our own." Darius said.

"Now what?" Dillon groaned.

They ducked down when they hear the I-Rex roar which is close and Darius peeked up to see any sign of dinosaur and ducked down when he sees it coming in his view. Bumpy squeals as Ben tries calming her down, but the I-Rex heard it and tries to find them.

Daruis shushed them and sneaks around the rock and sees the I-Rex from behind the containers and looked at the van which is not far from where they are. He motion them move, but Ben protest it.

"Trust me." He whispered.

They sneak past the opening and behind the containers and Darius peeks out to see it's coast is clear. He motioned to move but ducked behind the barrel when he sees the Indominus Rex appeared. The dinosaur appears to pick up their scents and ran towards them, but they're not there. Dillon peeks a bit to see the dinosaur is looking for them as Kenji, Ben, and Bumpy took cover behind the barrels.

Darius motioned them to come, but Kenji shook his head, telling him no as the dinosaur is getting closer to where they are. Dillon picks up the rock and motioned Darius to create a diversion for the dinosaur by making a noise. Darius took the rock from him and throws it at the stacks of barrels. The I-rex heard the noise and follows it, giving them a chance to get away as they regroup. Darius looked at the van which few feet from here and sneak behind the container. He motion the others to move along as they hunched down and move, but Brooklynn trips and the tablet is making a loud noise. She turns it off quickly, but the I-Rex picks up the noise.

"Brooklynn!" Sammy said, went to help her while the others makes their way to the van as the dinosaur found them.

Dillon gets in and helps Ben get Bumpy inside as they wait for the others.

"Come on, come on!" He calls as Brooklynn and Sammy ran towards them.

They fastened their seatbelts.

"I'm driving!" Yasmina shoved Kenji away and starts the engine. "Wait! Where's Darius?"

"Darius, come on! Get in, hurry!" Dillon called as he sees him running towards them.

Darius made it in the van and closed the door as Yasmina floors it. The Indominus Rex roared at them as it no longer chased them anymore.

"Whew!" Darius sighed in relief.

He started to laugh as everyone joins in as they finally got away from that white dinosaur.

"Yeah!" Kenji cheered.

"Kids?" they heard Roxie on the walkie. "Come on, pick up! There's something going on. Stay at camp. We're heading to you."

Darius quickly pick up the walkie and respond to her.

"No, we're heading to you!"

"Darius! Wait, why are you-"

"We're fine, but we had to leave camp."

"What?"

"Long story."

"Short story: a dinosaur ate camp." Yasmina said.

"Shorter story: epic leader, Kenji, somehow got everyone out safely." Kenji said.

"We got away from Indominus Rex to go find some help and we're on our way to you." Dillon said.

"And then we found a van and Bumpy!" Ben added as Bumpy squealed

"We're cutting through the jungle and heading to the main park." Darius said. "Should be there soon."

"We're getting out of here!" Brooklynn said.

Everyone cheered as they're on their way to them.

"Yeah! You hear that, Bumpy?" Ben said to her.

"Whoo! Driver en route." Yasmina cheered.

"Good job not getting me eaten, bro." Kenji thanked him.

"Thanks, 'brah.'" Darius said.

"Oh, no, you-you made that sound weird. No more bro-talk for you."

Everyone looked at each other, smiling that they finally got away alive and Brooklynn raised her hand for Sammy, who laughed.

"We did it, camp family! And not a moment too-"

The van bumps over the rocks on the road as the van shakes and Brooklynn's phone slipped out of Sammy's pocket as it drops on the floor.

"What the…!" Dillon gasped.

"My phone..." Brooklynn gasped before looking at Sammy. "I knew it!"

"Huh?" Yasmina gasped "...Sammy?"

"Yas, eyes on road!" Dillon yelled, but too late as they crashed the van.
