While the party is staying at the Gold Saucer, Tifa takes Aerith aside to talk about what Cloud told her about Zack and the two discuss what it means for Cloud and themselves.

Fun times. (An homage to my favorite noir movie & the title’s in reference to the book) I had to cast Reno as a noir, hard boiled detective - he has the sass & smart ass.

Cloud comes home from a long day of deliveries only to have Tifa waiting for him with a special surprise that will test every boundary of his strength and control. OR Three Tifas are better than one?

"Tell you what, Mr. "I'll die trying"," She began. Reno felt that comfort washing over him. "I'll make you a deal. If you can get your little plan to succeed then I'll find a way to come and visit. But only for a little while." Reno bit his lip to stop from grinning. Like he needed more incentive to meddle in Elena and Tseng's personal lives.

Cloud did join Shinra, but he just did his tour and got out. Once discharged, he moved under the plate, earning gil by doing odd jobs and monster hunting in the wastes around Midgar. On this particular day, it wasn't a monster he found, but a shot-to-hell SOLDIER who wasn't quite dead. A story of building a new life, gaining new friends, and a past that isn't quite done. The Turk Spawn are juniors in high school. Read as they prepare for their futures, deal with ignorant peers and younger siblings, discover first loves, all while being children of Turks or the President. Rated M for swearing and violence.

This is just a little short one I wrote for rare pair week - I don’t know how the two came together, but I found them together and I like it -though for the record, whenever I ship these two I consider it AU as I can’t rain on Zack’s parade

Now Tifa's hungry, and has to take extra measures to get her fill.

"You know, if you were trying to turn Tseng into the perfect unfeeling killing machine, you failed." Reno uttered. Veld smiled into his mug. "I was trying to turn him into a leader." Veld counterpointed. "How do you think I did?" Reno chose not to answer that. Five times Reno saw Tseng assist sick/injured Turks and one time Reno got to help him.

Tifa kidnapping happened, Cloud becomes worried and Insane as she disappears. The involvement of Shinra, 1st Class Soldier and Aerith behind the scenes, makes the story even darker.

Aerith has lost context for a lot of things since leaving Midgar...so clearly, extra effort on her part is required. (Or, a look into the reasons why Aerith seems more gung-ho in FF7 Rebirth than in FF7 Remake...especially with regards to Cloud.) [Spoilers for all of Rebirth.]

Cloud has just joined the Turks after a rigorous training program. Proud of himself, he decides to write a letter home to his mom.

"He smells like a baby, like a pup that hasn't ever presented. Like his hormones are so subtle they're practically nonexistent unless you're cuddling him. It's no wonder we've never smelled him at all - he's just not giving anything out and probably not receiving anyone else's signals as well. Like a fucking baby, Angeal, a six foot tall baby, he's a baby what the fuck?"
