Leon Kennedy had faced countless horrors throughout his career. From the depths of Raccoon City to the heart of rural Spain, he had confronted abominations that defied the laws of nature. Yet, as he stood in the dimly lit room of the safe house, he felt a chill run down his spine that no monster had ever evoked. Surrounding him were some of the women he had encountered during his journey: Claire Redfield, Ada Wong, Ashley Graham, and Helena Harper.

The atmosphere was tense, and Leon sensed he was in for a different kind of battle—one that even his combat training couldn't prepare him for.

Claire Redfield was the first to break the silence. She crossed her arms and fixed Leon with a steely gaze. "Alright, Leon. Time to fess up. What type of woman do you prefer?"

Leon blinked, taken aback by the directness of the question. "What? Where is this coming from?"

Ada Wong leaned casually against the wall, her lips curling into a sly smile. "Oh, come on, Leon. Don't act so surprised. You've been through a lot with us. It's only fair we get some answers."

Ashley Graham, ever the innocent, tilted her head curiously. "Yeah, Leon. You never really talk about yourself. We want to know!"

Helena Harper, standing next to Claire, nodded in agreement. "And don't try to dodge the question. We've been through hell together, and we deserve some honesty."

Leon rubbed the back of his neck, trying to buy himself some time. "Ladies, isn't there a more pressing matter we should be focusing on? Like, you know, the zombie apocalypse?"

Claire smirked. "Nice try, but we're not letting you off the hook that easily."

The women started talking over each other, each one making their case.

"You're always so mysterious, Leon," Ada said with a teasing glint in her eye. "Is it the thrill of the chase that excites you?"

Claire rolled her eyes. "Oh, please. He needs someone who can keep up with him, not play mind games."

Ashley pouted. "I think Leon needs someone who can take care of him. After everything he's been through, he deserves some peace."

Helena chuckled. "Knowing Leon, he's probably too focused on saving the world to even think about relationships."

Leon held up his hands in surrender. "Alright, alright! I'll answer, but can we all just calm down for a second?"

The women quieted, their eyes fixed on him expectantly. Leon took a deep breath, trying to figure out the best way to navigate this minefield.

"Look, it's not that simple," he began. "I've met a lot of incredible women, and each of you has strengths and qualities that I admire."

"Nice save," Claire muttered under her breath.

Leon shot her a look but continued. "Claire, you're strong, determined, and you never give up. Ada, you're resourceful and always one step ahead. Ashley, you have a big heart and a lot of courage. And Helena, you're dependable and always have my back."

"But?" Ada prompted, arching an eyebrow.

Leon sighed. "But, honestly, I've never really thought about it. I'm always in the middle of some crisis or another. There's never been time for... personal stuff."

The room fell silent, each woman processing his words. Then, Claire spoke up, her tone softer than before. "I guess that makes sense. You've had a lot on your plate."

Ada nodded. "It's true. We've all been so focused on survival that we sometimes forget about living."

Ashley smiled, but there was a flicker of jealousy in her eyes as she glanced at Claire. "Well, maybe once this is all over, we can find out what life is like without zombies trying to eat us."

Helena chuckled. "That would be nice for a change."

Leon felt a wave of relief wash over him. The tension in the room had lessened, and he could see understanding in their eyes.

"Thanks, ladies," he said, genuinely grateful. "I appreciate you giving me a break."

Claire grinned. "Don't get too comfortable, Kennedy. We still expect some answers once things settle down."

Ada smirked. "And who knows? Maybe we'll find out your type after all."

Leon laughed, shaking his head. "I don't doubt it. Now, can we get back to saving the world?"

The women nodded, and as they prepared to head out into the fray once more, Leon couldn't help but feel a sense of camaraderie and respect for each of them. They had faced unimaginable horrors together, and yet here they were, ready to continue the fight.

As they moved out, Claire fell into step beside Leon. "You know, Leon, you might just be the luckiest guy in the apocalypse."

Leon chuckled. "How do you figure?"

Claire smirked. "Surrounded by strong, amazing women who have your back? Yeah, I'd say you're pretty lucky."

Leon smiled, feeling a warmth that even the coldest horrors couldn't extinguish. "Yeah, Claire. I guess I am."

Ashley, walking a few steps behind them, felt a pang of jealousy. She quickened her pace to catch up, inserting herself between Leon and Claire. "Hey, Leon, remember when you saved me back in Spain? You were my hero."

Leon smiled at her. "Of course, Ashley. You were brave back then too."

Helena, noticing the subtle tension, decided to lighten the mood. She walked up beside them, placing a hand on Leon's shoulder. "You know, Leon, we all need some attention too. Can't let Claire and Ashley hog you all to themselves."

The group burst into laughter, and even Leon couldn't help but chuckle. The moment of levity was a welcome reprieve from the constant tension of their lives.

Ada, smirking, called out from the back. "Don't worry, Leon. We'll all get our turn to save the world with you."

Leon shook his head, amused and grateful for the distraction. "Alright, alright. Let's save the world first and then we can figure out the rest."
