After that little nap, the young man picked himself up from the bench he was on, looking a little bewildered about that strange dream he just had he started to shake off the thoughts of it. Now focused on the matter at hand, he looked at the screen of the airport waiting room, almost 12:00hrs, he once again took the ticket from his coat just to be sure.
Luther Clarke, From Tokyo, Japan To Heaven Island, Pacific. Date January 9th. Time 12:30hrs. Flight S 040. Gate P. – Everything seemed to be correct, yet he was unable to find the Gate or even the Flight on the monitors- Well, might as well ask someone
As he made his decision, Luther took his suitcase and his beige shoulder bag, crossing the last to not carry it further. He started walking, looking for someone who might know the info he needed, passing by a mirror-like panel on the wall he stopped for a moment to see his reflection. The sight was that of a thin-framed young man, his black hair long enough to make him look like he had natural bangs covering his forehead, a chiseled chin and a fine nose gave him some sort of femine features yet, his sky-blue eyes giving a strong glare at the mirror said otherwise. His eyes then went on to his clothes, a black blazer which seemed to be a little too big for him, over a plain white shirt buttoned up almost to the top, on his lower half some simple jeans which if you pay attention, seem to be a little washed out, and a pair of brown boots to finish.
Subtle – As his eyes gave another quick look he changed a bit- More like plain and careless, like I care, but I can hear my sister calling me out, going to "the Heaven High" looking like this, but I mean, its not like ill meet someone important, and its not half bad… probably.
A sigh escaped his lips, as he once again decided to look for someone to help him get to where he wants to get. At the distance he could see a policewoman helping people out over and over, just what he needed. Luther approached the officer full speed.
-Whoa, no speeding young man, I'm not going anywhere- the officer received him with a smile – Is there anything I can help you with?
- Yes, actually – Luther said, showing the ticket to the lady in front of him- I'm actually kinda lost and I was wondering if you could tell me where this gate is?
-Sure, thing kiddo, let me see…- the officer took a moment to realize why he was not able to find the gate- Yup, this is a private planes gate, and by the looks of it, it is for the Kirijo group plane. Many kids are flying there today it seems, as you are not the only one who has asked me about this one.
-Oh, thank God, please would you mind pointing me in the right direction?
-Sure, thing kiddo, unfortunately is on the other side of the airport, the letter P gate is a private area across the airport
Luther looked at his phone, "12:15". It almost took him 10 min from the entrance at the middle to the point he is now, given he starts running as fast as he can also pulling the big suitcase and no other police officer stops him, he would still be late.
-Damn… Sorry, language- he said to the officer, she just started laughing- I better start running then, if not I'm really not gonna make it.
-Oh no, not on my watch young man, youuu shaaall nooot ruuuun – as she stands proud and making a clear reference to a famous scene from a fantasy movie, then she stops for a moment to think- Ok leave this to me
Luther could not believe he ended up in this situation, the police officer who offered to help him, took one of the police airport vehicles and with full on siren and pedal to the metal, started maneuvering across the people to reach his flight. People were giving them both some nasty looks as they got out of the way
-Don't worry, we're almost there- the officer said to him as he grabbed however he could to the cart.
Seconds later Luther could see what it seemed to be a small line of teenagers boarding a plane. It seems he made it in time
The cart stopped a few meters away, Luther took his suitcase from the back and started running, only stopping for a second
-Thank you so much, I wouldn't have made it if it weren't for you- he said as he waved goodbye to the energetic officer still in the cart.
The officer took off her cap and made a salute, looking at her with more attention, Luther could see she was rather cute with soft pink lips, a small a bit pointy nose, a soft skin with that of a cream tone, she was on the petite slim yet curvy side, her long ash-blonde colored hair let loose after she took off her hair bun. Luther was a little enthralled by her, but what actually made him skip a beat were those eyes, those ash-colored deep grey eyes, he thought those had to be fake as there are infinitely more chases of wining the lottery than to have those eyes.
-See ya later, be safe out there- where the last words he heard from the officer before running up to the gate.
Last in line, figures as he was mere seconds away to losing the flight. Taking the ticket out and showing it to the attendant he let a sigh of relief only to be confronted with a little reality
-Mister, your flight took off minutes ago, this line is for another plane
Luther dumbfounded looked at the attendant, then instinctively put his hand on his pocket, reached out for his phone, and when he saw the screen lighting up, it was too late.

Author notes:
Thanks for reading, I hope the way I write is of your liking. Now to make some things clear, as I said in the prologue this was supposed to be a dnd campaign, so I'll make these little sidenotes given someone wants to give it a shot at narrating this. The idea here in the game was to present the players characters, make them interact a little and a small surprise which many may have suspected what is about while reading. But yeah, in this story as it focuses more on a novel-like storytelling I decided to introduce the main character. On the next episode we will progress with the actual story as this was a character introduction more than anything.
